A republic is a representational form of government. Generally, a monarch would act as the representative of the people/state/country unless they fill a more symbolic role in the government.

Right, I was trying to further clarify why a traditional monarchy couldn't be considered a republic.

Yes. By definition, a republic does not have a monarch.

And I'm sure our members have RPs going on. Aqui and I technically have an ongoing one, but we've kind of let it die. Also, I'm going to try to find that thing I read while trying to catch up in the last thread. I think it involved Holy Marsh, so I hope it doesn't end up being WERTA/Cong related.

Yes, it means "Electoral Monarchy". The name is not important really, the real point is something but did you put the RP in the OP?

I never toke the time to make one. Actually the Elector has all the power of a monarchy, the only thing that sets them apart is that they get elected every five years,lead the senate and can be disposed peacefully through a "senatorial conviction."

The system is screwed up one, really it is.

Well, couldn't find the aforementioned thread, but did see that people were designing weapons. I made a design (PimpMyGun) for grenade launchers ("advanced airburst systems") for the SP if the SEC is interested. Haven't made a full write-up regarding them as of yet, but they are based on the XM25.
