Imperial Commonwealth League of Crowns Palace,Commonwealth Council Chamber, Harmony, Bardust
Although all of this was to celebrate the new and vibrant imperial commonwealth, Lord Oliver could only remember his young self as he sat in the balcony and watch his father open the first imperial commonwealth. From joy, to sadness, excitement and nervousness Lord Oliver stood behind the great oak doors as the imperial family, new ambassadors and special guest buzzed around the room meeting and great before the opening of the new session.
"You Lordship, the speech" the young intern handed Lord Oliver a portfolio casted with the new crest of the commonwealth. Looking down as the gilded crest Lord oliver began to know and understand the depth of the office he held and the meaning of the organization he had been trust to birth.
"Get ready sir" the intern said as she dusted his shoulders and pruned him "5....4....3..." she counted down"....2.....1"
The great doors flew open as Lord oliver stepped forward. The room was packed-royalty, nobility, politicians, business owners, foreign dignitaries and special guest lite the chamber as the light reflected from their polished jewelry and crisp attire.
"The Acting Administrator of the Imperial Commonwealth League of Crowns, The Rt. Hon. Lord Michael Oliver!" the Sargent-at-Arms boomed
It was at that moment the newly designed flags unraveled and the fanfarebegan. Escorted by the Sargent-in-Arms Lord Oliver made his way along the endless aisle and to the Lord High Commissioner's chair.
Taking a moment to acknowledge the visiting heads of state and their representatives Lord Oliver began his opening speech.
"Your majesties, your imperial and royal highnesses, your lordships, ladies and gentlemen...welcome. We have all taken the time to gather here today to give birth to a new, to take a fresh start and to give a fighting chance. Let us not ignore the past, in our pursuit to be the steward of democracy, and do so in the manner that we have deem good and proper, we come to meet great challenge and deception by those whom we thought to be friends. As we recognize that past let us not dwell in it. In the face of strife and distress we must look for opportunity, an opportunity to better ourselves in a fashion where we will not become victim once more. The Imperial Commonwealth League of Crowns is that opportunity, a chance to rethink and rebuild. Under the common trust for monarchy and the greatness that it my bring to our people, the commonwealth is a means to united international and share in political, economic and cultural partnership. We are on the verge of a new age where those that think ill of our way are willing to boldly denounce it and see it as there duty to rid of it. To those hostile actions we must stand as a untied front, by a strong and uniform stance we may see that our way of life will live on for 1000 more years. Through monarchy and by democracy, freedom and human rights the Imperial commonwealth League of Crown will stand a light for those that are of our like mind. As said by my father, the late Sir Robert Oliver, Whether your allegiance lays within your king, queen, grand duke or sultan, it is through their grace that all things are possible and all things will come to light. Let us follow that light and carry it into the darkest of rooms and deepest of holes where we will teach of our way and learn from those we encounter. With the power vested in me by the sovereign powers of the Imperial Commonwealth League of Crowns, I, The Rt. Hon. Lord Michael Oliver official proclaim the first session of the Imperial Commonwealth League of Crowns open."
The room roarer with applause, taking that as a sign that things went relatively well Lord Oliver felt slightly better everything. After the a short reception of finger food and hand shakes, the guest gradually made their way out of the council chamber leaving the ambassadors to do their business.
"My lords" Lord Oliver took the podium once again, this much more relaxed "Firstly, welcome I do hope you are all enjoying our new facilities and that you have found every with ease. Well, be for we get started I guess...ummm....anyone would like to share any words?"
