It's a kind of totalitarian government in which one person controls pretty much everything. Some compare it to fascism, but it really is pretty different being more similar to an absolute monarchy. The main difference is that a monarchy has established laws or fixed traditions that they follow. As a dual head of government/religion, the traditions of Erisia are subject to the will of the leader.

Basically the whole of the government is one national leader (referred to as the "Holder of the Throne" or "Holder"). This position also makes the leader the head of my nation's religion. By tradition, which is treated as common law in my nation, the only other government official whose position always exists is that of a national delegate (referred to as the "Speaker for the Throne" or "Speaker"). All policy is subject to the will of the current Holder, who will delegate authority as needed, usually on a temporary basis.

At the moment, the main island of Erisia is run as a free market society with very little governmental interference, but a strong conservative, religious tradition defines acceptable practice. There is faux private property, as although Erisians deal with each other as if they have ownership rights, everything ultimately belongs to the Holder. The territories are governed in a sort of feudal system with appointed governors acting as "lords". This system only applies to humans. Private corporations exist both on and off the island, but use humans for most manual labor. These corporations are either granted land rights by the governor or the Holder, or they can make arrangements with the governor or Holder for workers. How free a human is in this system is completely up to their governor or the corporation they are contracted with.

The Chrinthani are a mixed bag of cultures and customs. Primarily they are a good hearted, hard-working population who live with the basic freedoms that all people should be granted by their government. A traditional Chrinthani is not very religious, as only 7% of the population actually attend church, very partiotic, extremely into environmentalism, promiscuous to a fault, and typically interested in fun at all costs. Sports are a huge industry and the Chrinthani are a very competative peoples.

III. What are the strengths and weaknesses of your nation?
The strength of the Imperial Federation of Chrinthanium is its willingness to work with other governments to achieve a peaceful and diplomatic solution to any and all incidents. The weakness of the Imperial Federation of Chrinthanium is its unwillingness to wage war unless specifically required.

IV. Why do you think you will be a good fit in the Coalition?
We feel that we bring a balance between the wishes of the conservative minority and the liberal majority of our citizens. We believe that this coalition best represents the needs and desires of all empires in the NSverse. The main strength of the United Coalition is it's ability to administrate and negotiate with the velvet glove and attack with an iron fist. It's weakness however is that it's people can quickly turn murderous and difficult to rein in.

OOC: I'm answering this one and the next completely OOC. The Coalition is filled with good RP'ers of the newer national generation that I belong too. Essentially it is filled with nations I can deal with who wouldn't have Cong levels of complexity and history.

The main strength of the United Coalition is it's ability to administrate and negotiate with the velvet glove and attack with an iron fist. It's weakness however is that it's people can quickly turn murderous and difficult to rein in.

OOC: I'm answering this one and the next completely OOC. The Coalition is filled with good RP'ers of the newer national generation that I belong too. Essentially it is filled with nations I can deal with who wouldn't have Cong levels of complexity and history.

The New Land of Deralia was founded in A.D. 300 by Abram Deralia. We soon became the United Country of Deralia then the civil war between Eastern Deralia and Western Deralia occurred in 1677. One custom in Eastern Deralia is to burn a picture of Western Deralia's president every new year. We celebrate new year at the end of the Church of Eastern Deralia's final day of the year. We have many different types of food, we speak Deralian, we encourage smoking (about 99% of ED smokes), and we have loose drug laws.

We have great military and economic strength but we have a low life expectancy.

The people are a proud people, strong in their Wiccan faith. They pray daily in the public baths fueled by the thermal springs below. The people are quite accepting of other races as long as the races stay with each other. Around the capital are forests that house our national animal the Lion. The cities all are as nice as the local workers can get them, for self-image is important in Navonodish.

III. What are the strengths and weaknesses of your nation?
The Navonodish people's both strength and weakness is their devotion to their God and Goddess. However, another weakness is the regional pirates that constantly attack our ships. However, we have an aspiring space program with a few ships stationed at our space station.

IV. Why do you think you will be a good fit in the Coalition?
We are a Kingdom and hoping to give whatever we can to the Coalition for this is our second time trying to ally ourselves with an alliance. (our first application was to WERTA but they never got back to us and they have disbanded for now.)
