The Planet of Urstania was in much the same state as Earth. It had a massive Pangea type continent called Eropia.
The Planet was going through major economic turmoil and the global populance was unhappy and unrest was spreading. Riots and protests were an everyday occurance. To observing aliens Urstania was a crumbling global police state.
Urstania was ruled quietly and secretly by a small elite class clique of international bankers who held secret meetings annually funding both sides of wars and dominating the corrupt and inefficient monetary system. The elite class was made up of 12 dynastic banking families with another 500 of Urstania's wealthiest individuals, bribing the corrupt and inefficient politicians of every country and pulling all the strings and making all the descisions behind the facade of democracy.
However with Urstania now globally communicative and the exchange of ideas and the free media on the planets internet it did not take long for the elite class's "New World Order" plans to be exposed which led to even more protests and independent journalists to run the story.
A new President of the planets major supperpower was seen by aliens as "the planets reformer" who attempted to expose the elite class and all the supressed technology their corporations were hiding but with the elite classes controlled media they totally discredited him and ruined his reputation but still the people were catching on to the manipulation of their planet by the elite class.
It began in the western portion of Eropia. Mass strikes and protests crippled the countries and that led to the governments there resigning. Fearing their own collapse nations further east began disclosing top secret files on extraterrestrial intelligence
("Dark" aliens had been in contact with the elite class helping them consolidate their power while the "Light" aliens just observed knowing not to interfere in the development of a planet and waited for this oppourtunity of mass global awakening to destroy dark sided aliens)
Eventually at an international conference the elite class was exposed, many international bankers and business men had been assasinated or had fled the planet in exile with their dark sided allies however the 12 banking families continued to believe they could dominate the planet.
However situations beyond their control such as massive environmental and natural disasters began to occur to further drain their resources and destabalize their planet. Their collapse was ennevitable.
Then before any further unrest could occur the global government decided on full alien disclosure. all top secret files were released that had been supressed for over 60 years. Light sided aliens began communication with the planet on their free media and their messages were shown on all broadcasts
"To the beings on Urstania, Your consciousness has developed to such a level of understanding of your universe and your planet that the time has come for your species and your planet to ascend. You have been held back by the elite class who have for many decades manipulated your politicians with their extreme wealth and influence to serve their own selfish and harmful interests. As your consciousness developed you learned to stand up for yourself and learned knowledge that was once only reserved for kings and the ones dominating the planet. You have learnt to respect one another and realise that your species shares the planet with other living beings that must be looked after"
The Planetary species was in shook at this revelation. all the things wrong in the world was engineered by the elite class to keep the people in a state of mistrust that would make them easily surrender their free will to politicians who would impose their will and their plans on the rest of society.
Immediatly corporate buildings and symbols were torn down, symbols of the hated and corrupt corporate ideology were torn away. the elite class either fled the planet with the dark aliens or hid in underground bunker or they would of been lynched by angry mobs.
Finally the Global Police State had crumbled and the people had ascended past their own Iron Curtain that was imposed on them.
Their planet had just gone through its own liberating revolution. for the first time Intergalactic travel was possable instead of being isolated on their planet. Light sided aliens announced Urstania was not the only planet that was enslaved in an Iron Curtain type alliance and that other planets contained Quarantine global Regimes. Currently they believed Earth would be the next domino to collapse and rid itself of their own elite class rulers.
The True history of Urstania was revealed, they were told that space travel was possable but they were kept isolated and unaware of intergalactic events just like communist dictatorships isolated their people from international news and only showed domestic news.
