Equipped with a monstrous 396mm main gun, the Armoured Support System (ASS) is a Marinian assault gun designed to launch a 396mm NEAT shell (Nuclear Explosive Anti Tank), capable of decimating entire tank battalions with a single shot from a distance of up to 10km on a good day. Each shell alone is capable of creating an explosion of up to 42 terajoules, enough to power 4320 average-sized family homes for a year, and turn anything within a km to ash and vapours. To increase the effective firing range, the sight from the Aggressor III has been fitted, with a target ID range of over 10km, and furthermore, integration with NATO Link 22 and Link 16 allow it to use data from allied AWACs to target tanks and fortifications outside of its line of sight. It also has the networked battle abilities of the Aggressor III, to improve situational awareness and give allied tanks time to escape the weapon's 1km blast radius and turn on CRBN defensive features to avoid destruction by the shell's variable yield explosive warhead. Outriggers have been fitted to absorb the recoil of the cannon when firing, and the chassis has been substantially re-enforced to handle the extra strain and the tank's 60 ton weight.

The tank admittedly can only carry 6 rounds, and may render large areas of the battlefield uninhabitable for a while... firing it probably isn't great for the hydropneumatic suspension either, or for any other part of the tank really...

I still prefer to keep the wingmen AI piloted or commanded by a dedicated command and control aircraft rather than compromising a strike or ground support aircraft's systems... But you do you I suppose.

I tried to keep equipment to USA-spec equipment, it’s a bit behind the latest American vessels but should prove relatively capable and a useful upgrade for these ships.

Also, if anyone wants me to draw stuff, I am open to suggestions.
