The Invasion was set. 1,000 Naval Ships were heading down to attack by naval against the South Vietam. The reason for war. Invasion against a neutral territory and genocide. These barbarians must be stop. The destroyers of the Royal Red Caribbean Navy. Soon fire there artillery at the Soutern Vietnam beachhead. The place they were attacking. The Royal Red Caribbean Air Force soon came in dropping out bombs to destroy the artillery placements on the island. This was war.

The Imperialist Dictatorship of North African Empire is tired of the South Vietnamese government interfering with our buiness and we have done nothing to them so we hereby declare war on South Vietnam.

The Cuban fleet that had so suddenly appeared at first startled the novice controllers at the artillery relay position outside of Hue. Within minutes though their extensive training took hold and orders were quickly re-routed and sent to ensure the Cubans received a warm welcome.

The First General Infantry Division deployed two miles behind the beachhead, concealed in thick jungle they were almost completely obscured from foreign observation. The South Vietnamese air power was moved to hardened hangers north of Hue. While the small navy hid in the Mekong's many small waterways.

On the beach itself the First Artillery brigade poured fire back at the Cuban ships that had so suddenly materialized. Their artillery pieces booming in an almost unending barrage. Irregular infantry set up discreet machinegun and sniper hides in the hills to the south of the landing zone itself and tensely awaited the Soviet landings.

The Third Marine division in their sexy tiger stripe camouflage dug in on state highway two four miles from the beachhead, preparing the inevitable counter attack that would see the Cubans driven back into the sea.

All across Vietnam every able bodied young man was momentarily drafted to dig anti-tank ditches and construct isolated jungle fortresses. The enemy of any occupier would be the South Vietnamese themselves and the land in equal measure.

During the attack the Cubans knew they had the offensive side. Which was going to be much harder but all the comrades knew that this war would be easy. Even though the jungles of South Vietnam manpower will prove its threat.

The ships of the Cuban Red Navy were struck. However only currently 1 destroyer and 5 higgins boats were sunk.

The air force was of the Cuban Navy was soon coming in. Their goal was to rain hell on the enemy. Bombs soon were ringing across the jungle smoke , fire were everywhere.

The bombardment of the area adjacent to the beachhead was of little concern to the high command. Already relocated to neighboring Cambodia the leadership of South-Vietnam were prepared to fight for a hundred years if need be.

While the incendiary attacks did make it difficult to move armor and infantry along the highway and areas targeted it did not prevent the Vietnamese from issuing a general order to pull back form the beaches and draw the enemy in. The people of Vietnam were fiercely independent and any foreign occupier would receive no aid from the civilians of Vietnam.

The people themselves knew that this war was a matter of national survival and so the donation of rice was wholesale as millions of tons were whisked away to the secret tunnel complexes that criss crossed the jungles of Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh trail itself was re-activated and already camps were made for their allies that would surely arrive before long.

The few armored divisions pulled back to the deepest jungles of Laos where they were readied for a potent counter attack once the enemy was in the right position. Overall the Cubans may hold the advantage in armor, manpower and air support but the Vietnamese held the edge in tactics and local support.

The 1st Cuban Air Division was sent out. They were to drop fire bombs onto the Jungles below to try to burn them out. Which would maybe stop guerilla attacks.

Back at the Beach the Cuban Forces have landed and securing the Beach. Though they have to take out the artillery positions surronding the beach in order to land the tanks in. One of the most feared cuban units.

Now to take out the enemy they would need an Air-Borne attack. 10,000 troops were dropped behind enemy lines. They objective was to get into the caves were the South Vietnam artillery guns were located.

All nations will be allowed to join our great crusade against this evil human race. We will gladly accept anyone currently. We hold a beachead in Southern Vietnam all forces should go there except for New North Vietnam who should be attacking from the North. This aggressive action by these mix of Imperialists and Communists is nothing. Less than nothing as we the proud Vietnamese people will hold the line! Now and forever, until the last man and the last round!

The Cuban beachhead posed a dangerous question for the commanders of the third Marine Division of ARVN. Should they attack such an obvious target? The answer was a most assured affirmative and before long artillery had re-opened fire on the beachhead from the strategic village of Non-Dong two miles from the beachhead as the local people themselves manned the obsolete cannon there.

The Marines crept through the jungle, spread out in a combat wedge that would allow them to muster the most of their fire-power. Their new M16A4s were held tightly as the nervous soldiers moved to engage the first wave of Cuban soldiers in a daring hit and run operation. Numbering two hundred men they hoped they would strike a psychological blow against the enemy.

At this point the Air force of South Vietnam rose up out of the hardened hangers north of Hue and began a swift and brutal bombing campaign of the highways around the beachhead. Miles and miles of railroad that the Soviets would need to move their heavy weapons inland was blown to hell and back by the small but elite Vietnamese air force.

The majority of the ARVN and NVA were dug in around three key cities, Saigon the capital, Hanoi the Northern Capital, and Hue the ancient capital of Vietnam. The rest of the military then was dispersed all across the countryside with the armored and helicopter elements in neighboring Laos and Cambodia far out of Soviet Range.

The Viet Congo had reformed almost overnight, except while before they had been agents of Communism now they fought to destroy it. The construction of a whole string of bases along the Ho Chi Minh trail was their first priority then a planned counter attack that would be delivered once the Cubans advanced several more miles into Vietnam.

The artillery ringing the beachhead suddenly came under attack from Paratroops dropped by the Cubans. While this tactical step back would by some be considered a defeat the Vietnamese slowly began turning the whole situation around by packing the caves with explosives.

When the Cubans came to destroy the guns; the artillery pieces, their Vietnamese masters, and most likely the Cuban forces in the caves would be immolated in a fiery hell before dying. This macabre tactic was just a taste of how desperately the Vietnamese would fight for their homeland.

Comfirming information of a town nearby lauching artillery Cuban forces then lauched an attack. 10,000 men the forces in the small village would surely overan. The attack was then lauched. 10,000 men were then running though the jungles of South Vietnam everything moving would be shot.

At the beachhead the tanks were landing. The C-11 tank made by Western Cuba was coming a shore. This tank being state of the art could survive 5 artillery shots. 3 Anit-tank Shots and 4 Tank shots. The tank had heavy armor and a 140mm. One of the biggest in world history. It was equipped with a heavy turret and flamethrower.

Soon the tanks were heading up the hills there they waited for the army to clear out the jungles. The tanks helped a little though to. As there flamethrower burned down many trees.

The Nullivans had arrived in full force to crush the Vietnamese warmongerers.
Quickly approaching the cost of South Vietnam was a gigantic fleet of naval vessels. Five Aircraft carriers, 10 Destroyers and eight cruisers, and this was just the first wave.
Just a few hours behind were troop transport ships, ready to land a huge invasion force of 40,000 men.
Nullivan had promised South Vietnam that they would burn, and that promise was going to be kept.

The massive and thus dreadfully slow Cuban tanks advanced slowly up the hills towards the concealed Viet Cong positions. A massive cry went forth as they closed to within one hundred meters and the first RPG-7 rockets surged out, mixed with AT-4s and the occasional Javelin anti tank system. The machine guns so cleverly concealed also opened fire into the massed Cubans on the beach, their barrels glowing read from the large ammo expenditure.

The Cubans had proceeded to try and burn their way through the jungles and while that could succeed if they had years to waste it would definitely not allow them to be as fast or maneuverable as the Guerillas. As soon as one unit drove into the Vietnamese jungles a VC unit struck their flanks. It was mobile warfare at it's finest as the daring VC struck from one direction and then another.

The Marines who had been advancing on the each covertly suddenly stopped and rose. Now twenty meters from the tree line they opened fire with their 5.56x45 rifles and M240 machine guns. The odd At-4 sang out and then at some hidden command the units melted away, taking their dead with them.

The now almost ghost like Marine would next pop up two miles to the rear of their last position slowly drawing in any pursuer. Vietnam was a maze if best and a hellish deadly maze at worst, for the Cubans the Viet soldiers hoped it would be the latter.

The tanks being the best in the business easily protected them self from the anti tank missiles. Only 1 tank was destroyed and they all got out safely because of the safety lauch on the bottom side of the tank. Unfortunely the mud from the explosines all over the place caused it to be tough to move the tank around. However do to state of the art catellpillar wheels the tank was moving the average speed at their best.

The Viet Cong were then attack and flanking the enemy with hit and run maneuvers. Little did they know the will and morale of the Cuban Red Army. As soon as the Viet Cong were done with their hit and run little did they know about the UAV flying around them. Also advanced radar helped the Cuban Army. With the will of morale , tech , and thermal snipers the Cuban followed in on the fleeing South Vietnam.
They will be killed for sure.

[North African Empire]

General Yuki's 343th Armored Division and General Cko's 65th Infantry Division was on board their transports getting ready to offload in South Vietnam to fight the very people who has threating their Great Empire time and time again. Private Xvon ran over to the General as they were landing on the south vietnamese coastline "Sir all our gear is unloaded we are ready to push inland" the General look at the private for a moment "excellent lets move on out shall we I don't think our allies will wait on us."

The first Viet Cong units were struck again and again yet their National pride kept them united and secure as they fell back in an ordered military manner, though casualties were heavy amongst these unlucky units. Almost simultaneously a fresh Guerilla unit was brought up from the areas outside of Hue which h was at the least twenty miles to the North.

This new Viet Cong unit held the line as the organized ARVN units fell back to the city itself ready to fight house to house and room to room. The Paratroopers of the Eight Airborne withdrew to the south, taking shelter in the central highlands as a fresh NVA unit was pulled in to hold the line just south of the Beach-head.

The Marines were re-fitted and their casualties and wounded taken from them, this new mobile element mounted up in several two and a half ton trucks and drove with all speed down the few remaining highways to reach a strategic hamlet known as Tzu ten miles south of the beachhead.

Tzu was surrounded by a trench complex that would make any soldier of the Great War proud. With machinegun positions and sniper hides it was a great position from where to launch attacks on the Cuban flanks as they advanced inland towards the fresh ARVN and NVA positions in the highlands.

ok, declaration of independence, fine I can let that bit slide for this RP. The issue here is still you can't just say you're in my borders you have to at least mention that you're mobilizing. But fine I'll let that slide again but I swear if there is any more N00bery I night have to fire the ignore cannon.

The beaches remained an issue but the South controlled VC had served in tieing up the Cuban tanks and infantry much better than was expected. Almost cautiously a message was sent to the Cubans to perhaps negotiate a temporary cease fire to allow the Vietnamese to tend to their own devices.

It was our understanding that joining a pro-revoution faction within a territory of the NAE is an act of open war. Therefore we are guilty of no war crimes as we made our intent very clear before any action was taken. If you wish to reconcile and cease hostilities then we are open for negoitation.
