Official Proclamation of the Imperium Español

Here forth decreed by His Majesty King Charles IV of the Spanish Imperium and all its territories that the Army of the Imperium is to be extended and reformed to include both professional and conscripted personnel. The Unión de Armas will continue to be the professional arm of the Imperium's military might and will be expanded through increased pay and benefits to increase applications. In addition to this, the Ejército de España (Army of Spain) is hereby chartered, and regional governments are hereby ordered to recruit, train and provide military forces from their populations for the use of His Majesty King Charles IV as leader of the government of the Spanish Imperium.

Imperial Federation, Official Statement

The Spanish Imperium's blatant mobilisation of it's armed forces can only be seen as an aggressive manoeuvre. The Imperial Federation warns all of The Imperium's neighbours to be vigilante, least they try to expand their influence by force.

The Imperial Federation will look upon this as a mobilisation, until the King of the Spanish Imperium can give ample reason to this sudden increase in military personnel.

Official Proclamation of the Imperium Español

The Government of the Imperium is not in the habit of explaining its policies to other nations; we act in the manner that we see fit according to Spanish national interests. Suffice to say, the development of military strength across the Imperium is something we see as in the best interests of the Imperium.

We would counter the statements made by the Imperial Federation about "aggressive" maneuvers by simply pointing east and south of our country. The Frencan Republic is currently involved in an imperialistic annexation of the Macedonian lands as we speak, and with the numerical superiority of the Frencan Army in the face of an alarming expansionist policy by the Frencan government, the Imperium sees little choice but to expand its military force to counter this potential threat. We also point south to the constant threat of Barbary Pirates operating along the North African coastline, always a threat to European shipping and primarily a threat to our geographically closer nation. The Imperium sees these points as reason enough to expand its military forces.
