THE NUCLEAR COMMONWEALTH
In the course of natural events, those nations which seek similar goals shall find that their interests are best represented when banded together. Their actions separate yet coordinated, these nations will find that great profit can be derived from an open and free exchange within their membership as well as nations outside their membership. The aforementioned nations shall also find the greatest security in the coordinated efforts of their several members in the defense of the Commonwealth, and their greatest achievement in the utilization of nuclear power. These nations have therefore convened to create the Nuclear Commonwealth for these aforementioned purposes.
The Nuclear Commonwealth stands for the simple idea that the economically freer any individual, the greater their success on the world stage and the greater his contribution to the sum total of the society. There shall exist no tariffs between the various Nuclear Commonwealth members, and every effort shall be made to facilitate trade within and outside the Commonwealth. Additionally, the Nuclear Commonwealth stands for the sale of any product, regardless of its status, to whomever seeks it, at the price the market, and the production of industry, demands.
The Commonwealth Members, in accordance with the aforementioned declaration of the freedom of the individual, shall be permitted to leave or enter the organization freely, provided that they adhere to the capitalist system and are found to be acceptable to the rest of the membership of the Commonwealth.
The Commonwealth membership shall extend those necessary and common courtesies to its various member-states in the realms of diplomacy and defense, provided such does not violate the core tenants of the greater Commonwealth or the membership. No requirement shall be made in cases of defense of a member-state drawn into a conflict via other alliance requirements, but the several member-states shall remain free to act as deemed necessary in such situations.
As per its name, the Nuclear Commonwealth holds nuclear and atomic energy and technology to be paramount to the continuation of the Human species. Nuclear power, nuclear proliferation, and nuclear propulsion are to be promoted to the absolute utmost. It is only through universal implementation of nuclear technology that we can progress beyond the ignorant state of the world today. The atom is the ultimate tool known to modern science, and we shall extend every effort to utilize it to its utmost the world over.
The Commonwealth seeks friendly relations with its peers and with any other nations, and will gladly extend the hand of trade towards any who request it. However observers shall not be permitted.
As a precaution against ulterior motives and to ensure that the Commonwealth shall not be drawn into any unnecessary conflicts, it is requested that member nations politely withdraw from binding commitments in other large alliances. Barring that,the Nuclear Commonwealth must exercise its opt-out clause in certain circumscribed commitments to ensure that the greater whole shall not be swept up into an unfortunate conflict. Small scale alliances and high level relations are more than encouraged.
Though long defunct, the several member-states once again find need for this organization in the greater world stage. Through the Nukewealth, we may find ourselves on the road to peace, power, and prosperity.
