Suddenly, the ice sheet on the mountain collapsed, and the expedition team fell into a hidden valley. Few minutes after

Inside the hidden valley, lies an abandoned temple, the temple is rather large in size, and vastly undamaged. At two opposite sides of the door lies two statues of Chinese dragon, and the entrance is roughly 10m long, 20m tall and protected by a teal, bronze door. The expedition team managed to get into the temple, in the very end is the altar of the gods, four columns can be found at the each corner of the room.
"What the........Whats with the murals?"

Inner senate members have gathered in the Altar. Soon as the entered the room, they noticed the file folders that have been placed on the table. Having all members arrived, the Caesar started to speak

Inner senators have eagerly opened the file folders as Caesar said, only finding an electronic paper with nothing, aside the symbol Σ in the middle of the paper. The senators panicked, and broke the silence
"Ladies and gentlemen, we are now at a strategic lowland. NUC is now deeply weakened by SAS and Wasabiton, while Swedish Intelligence managed to neutralize all of the members of USLA."

As a soldier montoneros the giant screen, there was a sudden alarm. As soon as t sounded, the entire room went into a panic, trying to find out the source of what was causing the alarm.

"Sir, we got unknown over Peru." A soldier yelled.

The commander, walking over to the soldier's desk, looked at the screen. Indeed, there was a big red dot over Peru, which suggested something major had happened. "You sure you didn't fuck up something?"

"No sir, that there is something."

Thinking for a moment, the general grabbed the phone and immediately was connected with D-12 Main Command.

"... Yeah, this is radar at Gorsh. We got something you might want to see..." He started.

A CDSA employee responded. "What do you mean we lost it?" Sun Li asked incredulously, "how the f***k do you "lose" a 500 million dollar imaging sattalite." W-we don't know. I-it just vanished of our sensors and we lost all communication with it." The employee stammered nervously "What the hell is going on here!?" Sun Li demanded. Chinevion moved to defcon 4.

High in space the lotus space station was still in operation but has been expanded and upgraded significantly. The outer docking ring held three space craft for use by the pirates there was also three other empty docking ports for other craft that might dock. The astronauts were installing a experimental weapon system to take out enemy space station, satellites, and space craft. The space pirates were on constant duty to take out any forces. As well as marines for rapid insertions in to enemy countries.

OBC Alpha

High above the mountians, and even high than the skies, sat Orbital Base Command Alpha better known as OBC Alpha. The large work of interconnecting tubes, large spheres, and huge panels catching the light in crazy ways. The large floating object was just one in a set of 5, continualy traveling around the earth, each one spread out across a different orbit path, never coming to close to one another for security reasons. Each one controlled a very specific set of satellite arrays. Some statellites were merely, setup for the servailance of the other nations around the planet, some tracked the movements of troops, others were orbital weapon platforms, and some were just normal statllites running the web. They had been slowly put into orbit over the past few decades, piece by piece. Slowly assembled in orbit by brave crews of engineers. They were marvels of the NUC engineering, a marvel of technology and industry. But they weren't just there to run things like a radio strapped to the back of a soldier. No, they wren't defensless. THey wre important as command centers to troops on the ground. Exact defenses were kept a secret, something only kown by the crews aboard, and the highest ranking officals of the military. The same went for most of the space weapons currently stationed in orbit.

The command crew of OBC Alpha sat around in the communications section of the base. They had been carefully montiering a sitution currently unfolding down on the ground. They had several stellites over the unfolding battle, quickly relaying information to the OBC which helped them with attacks on the ground. Several soldiers had been looking over a large council that sat in the center of the room. A blue grid had begun to take up most of the table showing a smaller layout of the land land. The circluar council found several smaller screens and that displayed anything from smaller key boards to reports and numbers continuassly flowing into the base. The council showed both blue and red dots rapidly changing across the map. The blue were the locations of friendly forces, as their combat armor continuasly relayed their positions to the map. The other dots showed up as enemy locations relayed through video cameras monted on the soldiers, and report filling in on the other moniters. The battles weren't entriely controlled by the stations but they played a large part in an overall view of the battle. A young officer placed his hand over the council, pushing it to the right. It releived the right side of a flank, were a smaller group of blue markers were slowly being evenloped by a alrger red force. A call was quickly put through for a a small force of shock troopers to be dropped into the hot zone to move the back towards friendly lines. As the call finished, another sector of the station lit up as a strangel energy burst was dtected over Peru...

Kutaisi, Georgia

NUC soldiers had been fighting an intense battle with local forces for days. A smaller group of rebels had been harressing the local garrisions of troops stationed in the city. The area was home to a larger military based, used for the protection of the NUC countroled territory. The group was radicals who had been upset at the recent NUC coup started in the country. Several months ago an plan was developed to extend another naval base near Eclius for security measures and to protect NUC assests in the area. The previous wars with Sweden abnd Wasabiton, paired with later smaller ones in the area mainly around the new free state of Sweden and territorial claims had caused for a change in the Foreign Policy of the of the country. No longer could they just sit on the sidelines, sending in small fleets of ships to try and prevent conflict. In the past it had been enough, but the recent wars had been a wake up call. More direct measures were being taken, ships had begun to be pulled off direct patrols of Sweden, instead an entire fleet had been station surrounding areas, located in Iceland, for rapid deployment. The age of isoslation had begun to disappear as well. New buffer measures had begun to spring up hoping to give the nation a stronger reahc across the global, rather than relying on smaller patrol ships, that ahd fleets and soldiers ready to act at any notice. It resenbled the NUC of old. The coup in Georgia had been one of these. Seeing as the country was being to collapse, the government swiftly moved in, supporting Democractic rebels with supplies and training. In the later stages of the war a small dtachment of the Black Sea Fleet moved into the area, supporting regular forcing pushing deeper into the country. The plans were for several naval bases to be setup, thus increasing the power of the Black Sea Fleet.

The operations had gone well so far, pushing loyalist forces away from the shore of the country. But as they transitioned further inland they had begun to meet heavier resistace and better equiped soldiers. It could just be a regrouping of the government forces or it could be the influence of an outside force, likely one from the EDF, Wasabiton more likely. The fighting in the larger city of Kutaisi had raged on for several days with Rebel and NUC forces trying to push the government out of the buildings one by one, delaying the forces considerably. As the end of the 5th day neared to a close, the Loyalists had nearly been pushed out to the fields and forest that lay just beyond the cities limits. Tough dug in loyalist desprete to hold ground had been holding off the advances for sometime. Around 1600hrs communications with the left flank of the forces began to go dark. It was likely a counter attack, aimed at slowly cutting off the Rebel soldiers. The confusion and lack of visiability had lead to decent success of the attack, but it would not last for long. A helicopter was already enroute to the stranded forces, loaded with Shock Troopers and "Raptor" Light Armored Infantry Combat Platform or LAIAP for short.

The systems onboard the OBC allowed for a more percise location of the stranded forces. The helicopter transport circled over, much to the relief of the trapped soldiers, over the skirmish zone. It hovered in place for a few seconds, before unleashing several missiles on the treeline infront of the soldiers, forming a bright light to show up, although the sound was drowned by a commbination of Gauss and Rifle rounds flying through the trees as artillery landed all over, some friendly some enemy. The Helicopter slowly decended to a few feet above the ground, it's two VTOL engines leaving marks on the long grass below. Several heavily armored soldiers rolled out of the rear of the transport followed by two Raptors. Several of the Shock Troopers unslung large long rifles from their packs. They held Thumper Mk II Anti-Infantry Railguns, simply knwon as Thumber or more commonly "loud mouth." The Thumper fired a faster round, for an increased AoE, making it more suited for taking out infantry than heavily amored and moving targets. With the intal shock of the missile and Thumber attacks the Shock troopers began to move the forces to the right to regroup. The Raptors played a support role, providing supressive fire from both Autocannons and rocket launcher onboard. The counter attack had been largerly contained, but the battle was far from over

Peru
North of the "Peru Event"

It had been over 40 minutes since the intal detection of the energy signal over Peru. A smiliar energy signal had been detected earlier on in the artic, but was paid no mind. It was largely seen to be some sort of scientific test being conducted by Eclius or EDf or someone else. It hadn't originally crossed the high commands mind that it could be the result of something other than a feild testing of something new. The first reaction was some sort of EMP test, but the senors seemed to still be active over the area, showing that no such thing had happened, Had the event take place again in the artic it would have likely no attracted so much attemtion. But another event happening over a different country was something to be investigated. In what was called the "Peru Event" by many newspapers and military officals alike was a strange energy that appear over Peru for a short time, although few offical sighting had been reported. In response a team of Shock Troopers were being airlifted into the country. It was a damgerous place to pass through as it was very close to Wasabiton territory. Any sign of NUC troops could cause a wave of panic throughout the Wasabiton higher archy. It wasn't something that the governemnt needed at the current time. Thus the section of Shock Troopers landed slightly to the north. 5 men stepped out of the transport. They wore lighter combat rigging than he normal Shock Trooper load out, also known as the light varient. They wre joined by an additional three members of NUC Raiders. The men stepped into the darkness of the jungle, quickly flipping on their helments, as they split up, carefully walking towards the event sight. They followed a map displyaedon their left or right forearm in a fan shape, careful to avoid Wasabiton search patries that might be in the area.

Somewhere in NUC

It was realtively quiet in the nation. Depsite the battles raging on in Georgia and other countries around the globe, the homeland was quiet. A small wind could be felt, but for the most part it was a cool afternoon. In an open field a large metal platform stood tall in contrast to the realively flat ground around it. The large network of metal beems rose up into a tower, in which the middle stood a long rocket. It wasn't a convential missiles used to devlier warheads around the world. Nor was it a rocket carrying a new part for a OBC or an Orbital Bomardment System. The rocket carried a brand new piece of warfare for the NUC space branch of the military. It was less of a direct warafre weapon and more of a counter-intellegence weapon. Suddenly the ground beneath the platform began to rumble as a whote smoke developed. A few seconds later the large rocket flew up towards the upper reaches of the orbit. Upon breaking into the pre-inputted height, the outside of the capsole fell off revleavingly a large rod shaped object, now launched in orbit. The metal tube slowly engaged the 4th stage rockets positioned in the back, giving it the small push it needed to travel around the earths orbit. The object was onroute to 59.429704, 20.021807 at a decent pace and was expected to arrive just intime for it's mission in two days.

Inside a large and silver-walled room, a glimpse of light scattered the darkness, suddenly, several holographic projector started to hum, and images of inner senators appears before Augusts program, the A.I. Caesar of Galactic Eclisian Empire. A grey (grey alien) starts to speak
"Caesar, we have attempted to form a warp to Machu Picchu, unfortunately the warp has once again failed"
And then, the other senators start to speak
"Caesar, we have to destroy all of the parts before some one uses it"
"Caesar, such device is a menace to the entire universe"
"Ladies and gentlemen of the inner senate, I am aware of the issue, initial analysis indicates that the distortion will affect not only the 2nd but all of the dimensions. I can only hope such menace would be destroyed before it falls onto the wrong hands."

*Note: Parallel universe Eclius is the literally the out-of-RP Eclius ruled by Augustus program, they have very advanced weapons (particle cannons, worm hole creators, etc.) but here, they will only be mentioned and not interfere as a faction. However, they must be mentioned because they are tied to the story somehow

[The Canadian North-West]

The Canadian North-West had enacted a policy of extreme isolationism, trying to concentrate on improving their already "advanced" air force. Not really interacting with the outside world, however, had left them entirely without a space force. The Canadians were working on this, however, and were working on a new SSTO when they noticed something strange...

Ground Controller: "Alright, Test Flight I-22c, you are ready to launch once you're cleared by the Radar Station. Radar?... Radar tower, do you come in? Damn these stupid radios. Hold flight I-22c, I'm having trouble contacting the radar station."

The Ground controller storms angrily across the military compound, cursing the faulty radio transmitters, the Radar Controller, and everything in between. He continues this rant all the way up until he bursts into the top room of the Station...

Radar Operator: "Sir, you may want t-"

Ground Controller: "Damn it McFarland, what is it? This is the third time this week you haven't responded to your radio. Get that thing fixed as soon as I leave, or I swear that you'll regret it..."

McFarland: "Sir, if you've got that off your chest, I'd like to show you something: Our offshore sensors picked up some sort of... energy burst. We only picked it up with one sensor, so we couldn't get the exact location, but this is the line the burst followed..."

Ground Controller: "Any idea where it came from?"

McFarland: "Like I said, only one of our tracking stations were able to pick it up, and it was a very faint signal, so it probably wasn't the US or Cuba. Honestly, it could've originated in any of the South American countries along that line, so Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, and Chile, but probably not Argentina."

Ground Controller: "Well what was it?"

McFarland: "I was wondering if you knew that, sir..."

Ground Controller: "Well, I don't. Anyway, it's probably nothing. Is the airspace clear?"

McFarland: "Well, yes, but..."

Ground Controller: "That's all I needed to know. If it appears again, report it to me immediately. And get your damned radio fixed."

McFarland: "Yes, sir."

A bustle was occurring at the Kola Base, what it was though, you shall see, or in IC hear. "Uh, sir..." a man sitting next to a machine said while his two eyes twitched, "Yeah? What?" asked the general in charge of the base, "The Oberon Sensor Set is picking up something," the man said before pausing for a moment, "In Peru, weird.", the general decided to observe the screens, "Yep, this is pretty weird mister," the general agreed, "If you ever get yet another of these distortions, report it to me.", "Yes sir!" the man replied as he pressed some buttons.

Day of Operation Angels fall first

The vehicle had been in development for a long time now, and was by far the most Ambitious project ever tested by Chinevion, the vehicle was the ESHSCIV "Angel"or electromagnetic sling hyper sonic intercontinental insertion vehicle. The ESHSCIV worked by using a massive scaled size of a electromagnetic aircraft carrier catapult, to launch a drop ship capable of carrying 34 troops and a light apc or 46 troops, and delivering them via paradrop anywhere in the world within 6 hours. The plane also features the best stealth tech available and has the ability to loiter over an Lz if neccisary and provide covering fire. Once in the air, it uses 4 ramjets to maintain a in readable speed, and brilliant jets to hover and slow down on aproch to Lz. It had been tested and it was about to fly its first mission, to Peru, to investigate the source of the anomaly. The 32nd RIST would be the operators on the mission and were equipped with the new RIST drop armor

which featured experimental HUDs and a light mechanical exoscellaten which only would boost how much armor and supplies they could carry. The squads marksman also used an experimental gunpowder/railgun rifle, I'm gunpowder form the rifle acts as an internally supressed 45. Cal tranq or lethal rifle with a scope that calculates bullet drop, airpreassure and movement to accurately tell the shooter where to shot. (For the conversion proses see my ooc post). The squad would be dropped in the jungle near machu pichu and attempt to gather Intel on the anomaly. For exfill they would make their way back to the Lz and using a Fulton system be garbed by the plane. (Tell me if this is godmodding in any way)

"New development sir."

Grabbing the piece of paper, the captain of the Yuktobanian Destroyer Mudamova read it silently. "... a satellite?"

"Yes, sir." The sailor responded. "A Chinevion Sat dropped out of the array."

"Hmph." The captain responded. "Last spotted?"

"Well, all our main radars know is that it simply just dissapered." The sailor responded. "It was just.. gone. Their satellite walked away."

The captain nodded, looking out into the open sea.

It was getting dark already. The ship Mumadova was actually headed to Peru to investigate what caused the massive energy release that was picked up on all radars in Yuktobanian. The government, usually remaining neutral in all world affairs, was now taking a stand in foreign affairs. They were trying to assert their influence, and what better way than to send an armed ship to a dangerous zone.

Our sattilites have found the source of the anomaly in peru and have sent in a squad of AV9 wasps and 2 squads of orbital drop shock troopers to investigate as more and more men head toward the peru border ready for war. meanwhile up in space our OKBS has just got a resupply in kinetic rods and got an upgrade allowing it to hold twice as many than before.

The Lotus sent a message to command saying that the satellite array had detected a anomaly in Peru. To investigate a high flying recon plane powered by SCRAM jets was sent to observe and report back. Normally a satellite would be used but none were available at the time. So the SR96 was sent. It was crewed by two a pilot and a sensors operate. They recored unusually high radiation levels and strange weapons signatures.

The monitors were being watched 24-7 for anymore anomalies, that was when the second anomaly was recorded, this time in Bermuda, Immediatly the CSV (Chinevion scientific vessel) the faraday was dispatched, this time Chinevion was ready and already having shifted multiple satillites to Peru shifted them to Bermuda, but alas nothing was visible, but, the vessel might turn up different results.

This time, the Canadian North-West was ready for the energy burst. A single X-94 High Altitude Spy jet has been scrambled to the Caribbean, following multiple reports of an energy disturbance coming in from various tracking stations east of the CNW...

Lt. Colonel Fredward: "Gentlemen, you have been gathered because another one of these strange energy bursts occurred less than fifteen minutes ago. This burst was picked up by 17 of our Nunavut-based tracking stations, of which 4 were able to get detailed scannings. A spy plane was launched five minutes after the blast was detected from our installation on the outskirts of here in Whitehorse, and is currently flying over American airspace in a B-line to the Bermuda Triangle, where we triangulated the blast to have occurred."

General McKinsly: "Sir, you said that there were some stations that got a more detailed report of what that blast was. Do you care to explain?"

Lt. Col.: "Well, that's where it gets interesting. Most of the particles emitted by the blast had decayed by the time they actually reached the outposts, but the four outposts I mentioned previously reported a large amount of irregular particles emitted from the blast zone, alongside a huge release of radiation and photons, pointing to the possibility that some sort of catastrophic event occurred there. We will know more about it once the X-94 arrives and sends back a report."

General: "That's still not very detailed..."

Lt. Col.: "It's more detailed than the blast we detected over South America. And besides, as I said, most of the particles had decayed by the time it reached the outposts, coming in amongst a huge mess of protons, neutrons, electrons, and gamma rays."

General: "In any case, why are we investigating it anyway? Shouldn't this be America's problem?"

Lt. Col.: "General, it's exactly that kind of thinking that's gotten us into this place to begin with. We don't know anything about this occurrence, mostly because of isolationists like you who- nevermind. The point is, we need to reach out to the International community, and gather some actual intelligence."

General: "Find, we'll contact the Americans, see what they know about what's going on in their own backyard..."

A few half hours later, a ramjet took off, off to Bermuda.

"It's like the one in Peru. It's a burst of energy."

D-12 Main Command went silent, then the soldier on the other line replied. "Gormod One, proceed to the area now."

As they got the order, the B-160 accelerated, breaking the sound barrier as it flew towards Bermuda.

After the unknown bursts of energy in Machu Picchu and in Bermuda, the SAS has placed the nation into Defcon 4 and has sent out strike teams accompanied by researchers to discover on what the hell is going on over in the Americas. As the SAS teams load up into the latest variant of the HH-90 Helicopter, their teams are wished good luck and to make sure that they stay quiet about the operation. After the elimination of the USLA in the Eastern US, that thorn in the Swedes spine is taken care of and can focus on operations in the region regarding the strange anomaly in the Bermuda sector.
