If needed, I can do that. As for why my concern was, I'm basically the bad guy here near as I can tell, which I have no issue with. However, that means that I'm pretty much guaranteed to get into an armed conflict later on here.

Oh, yes. A factbook's information is more transferable from 1 RP to another, and it's more detailed. But for this RP, the stuff in your application should suffice.

Quick question: Since a space elevator has to anchor somewhere, would anyone with equatorial land like to have a direct link to a pile of likely hostile people?

It would depend on the exact yield, but you could probably anything nuclear if you were looking: the water would flash-boil and you'd get a steam explosion. Antimatter is almost a certainty.

I'll take it then. But this will result in some conflict, since your people are aliens.

Given that we're on a planet, I feel like that's just going to make us the first target amongst many. But thanks for the warning.

I figured as much, but I'm not sure if you'd be crazy enough to rig an antimatter bomb under the ocean.

I try to keep my hands clean of antimatter where at all possible. It's just too easy to use it as an instant: "I blow everything up" button.

Question (sorry that this is pre-app I wanted to ask before I forgot to ask and I cant put my app in till this evening) How does space around the planet in orbit work as far as ships? Are we restricted to geo-sync or it over our colony? Is it bad to be above another colony/considered an invasion of "air-space"? Can we only enter the atmosphere above our colony? What about space within the system this planet resides in?

If you use it in small enough quantities it works well. Since anyone who's using the stuff should probably be aware of the astonishing amount of gamma radiation that's letting loose, and should (hopefully) restrict themselves to using it as a small nuke, in quantities well below a milligram.
