A single nuclear powered jet liner carrying 20 members of the Aterrian govt. flew over the land bellow at upwards of 6000 km / h. Their plane was flanked by 5 F-40 multi-role fighters going at a similar speed. Onboards, govt. officials talked, preparing for the upcoming meeting with Byzanthian delegates.

"I've heard an alien craft just showed up over Byzanthia's territory, what do you think of this?" One asked.

"Interesting, but its not like we've never seen aliens before." Another replied.

"Probably acting all arrogant like the xenos they are." Replied a third.

"Attention all passengers, we will be arriving in 30 minutes." The pilot announced. "A signal will be sent to the nearest airfield."

With that, a transmission was sent to the nearest large Byzanthian airfield, stating that the Aterrian delegation was arriving.

Byzanthian officials radioed back, approving of their descent. The radio tower ordered the plane to land on 29-L in the Promethean International Airport. Meanwhile, the Minister-President of Byzanthia (head of government) waited alongside the runway to greet the delegation.

To: President Vidi Vidi of Neu Gibraltar
From: Oskar Warner, Minister of Foreign Affairs

Message:

Unfortunately, the Prime Minister himself is unable to reply to you personally at the moment, as he is busy discussing matters of national importance with the extraterrestrial beings. I would be delighted to relay your message to our inter-galactic friends, and I can assure you that transportation to the meeting has already been sorted out. I hope to hear from you soon, via message or meeting, at some point or another.

Signed,

"Of course, the museum is not what we're here for. We are actually here to give you a gift on the behalf of our nation." Charles walked into the museum, only to come out five seconds later with a small, metallic box. The box was in fact empty, aside from a small note inside:

This message was commissioned by the Minister of Cultural Preservation on August 25, 1977.

Today, Byzanthia took its first major leap into space with the launch of the BNAA-01, the first Byzanthian rocket to ever reach space. It was in this this moment that I realized that Byzanthia was entering a new age, one where the world may not be as welcoming as we had previously thought. For years, we have known that the nation was decaying at an alarming rate, and yet we did nothing. Even our own Prime Minister has been lackadaisical in his attempts to rejuvenate the government. In time, our nation shall fall to forces that have been proven too insurmountable to overcome. I have written this message with the intent of giving it too the one person who has shown remarkable strength and dedication to saving those that might otherwise be lost. This message shall not be known to anyone but you and I, and shall be placed within the metallic box that you see before you. No other government official shall know what this box is for, other than it must be given to a person that they think can save our nation. I trust that whoever is reading this message shall have the courage to lead our nation out of the hole that it has buried itself so deep into.

With anticipation for what the future may hold,

Rupert Geier, Minister of Cultural Preservation

Charles looked in anticipation after he handed Sylvia the box. "Well, what does it say?", he said excitedly. After all, no one knew what exactly was inside the box.

"Your Nation-State is failing. Worse, your predacessors knew it was, yet they allowed the problem to escalate. It warns that without aid, your destruction is inevitable. I have been given the mantle of shielding you from your enemies. I...can't do that without fomally deploying my forces. I need promission to do that...Your civilization may not be ready to face the Imperial Army....nor may you want to accept our guardianship."

Charles frowned for a moment. Of course he knew that Byzanthia was on the verge of collapse, but he never knew that the roots of such a problem preceded him by decades. Furthermore, he was disappointed in the fact that the government did nothing to remedy the problem when it first began. Even the current administration was having difficulty receiving cooperation with the other ministries and agencies of the government. The fact that the Prime Minister was a largely ceremonial position only worsened the fact. To have an entire army with weaponry stronger than that ever known to man would have devastating consequences. The Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already received complaints from NATO, the President of the US, and UN for what exactly was happening. The Prime Minister rushed everyone back into the car and whisked away to the meeting at the palace.

Charles, who was now petrified about the thought of having to deal with an inter-galactic empire, quickly decided that the notion to immediately accept this offer would not be feasible. "Perhaps we could talk about this at the meeting?" He asked. He settled down into his chair at his office, quietly contemplating about how this meeting would go.

Luciana took out her fountain pen, writing down a letter.

Letter to Greater Byzanthia

Encyption: Medium
To: Prime Minister Charles Bundgart
From: President Luciana Blake

Greetings Prime Minister Bundgart,

I have heard some words about Greater Byzanthia, and therefore I have sent a representative and 10,000 Silverions to your government for preparations.

My good friend and miltary leader, Yao Xang, will be visiting, reviewing, and aiding your nation along with me. I also will have a 2 person entourage of secret service members for protection purposes, if anything goes wrong, such as a circumstance that an enemy has decided to attack us. The secret service guards will have rifles, and tasers; nothing that is too threatening to the citizens. I must add that we will be arriving by plane. Once we reach the airport, we will arrive and use land vehicles.

You may be wondering why this message was encrypted. This concerns your exterrestrial visitors. You see, we have studied a strange creature that does not seem to belong to any species we have seen before. We believe it is alien in nature, and wish to study with your scientists.

Good day, sir.

Sincerely,

President Luciana Blake

After submitting the seal, she sent a high-security drone to deliver the message.

Signal encoded by protocol 5A-CCD into Thessian Digon

To: New Byzantian Government
From: Fleetmaster Sylvia Xi Leng, commander of the Imperial Fleet of Holy Reconciliation

I implore you to bring this sample to the upcoming meeting to discuss this further. If it is of concern to the Ecumene, I must see it. I cannot pass fair judgement without first knowing what I judging. I have relayed this message through the Ascendacy to help prevent this message being intercepted by parties that are not meant to know. If it is of value, I will almost certainly know.

"Well, I'm pretty sure that everything here is all fine and dandy, but did you check in with the nearest Greater Byzanthian Consulate? All diplomats must make sure that they are accounted for in the event of a terrorist attack or any other incident in which their lives are in danger. Luckily, the consulate is only fifteen minutes away. Assuming that you have all your legal papers, your passport, and approval from your government that you are here in Byzanthia as a representative, then everything should go smoothly." The officer motioned towards his jeep nearby, excusing himself for possibly causing the Capilean a great deal of frustration.

Byzanthia

The small yacht glided into the docks in near silence. It cut through the water so finely, the engines weren't even engaged at this point, previous momentum doing all the work.

Vidi could have taken a plane, but he preferred the boat, it allowed him to enjoy the scenery along the coast. Well, as much as you can enjoy scenery at 100+ knots. No expense had been spared on this little ship.

When the boat was parked almost perfectly, 6 figures got out. Vidi was first, wearing a dark purple with white shirt suit and white shoes. Ever the showman, his yellow hair was combed back, thick with hair gel.

Next was his good friend George. George was a little older than Vidi, evident by his grey hair, although his original black hair could still be seen in some parts. He was rather more formal, with classic black tuxedo and his signature circle spectacles. He was the brain to Vidi's looks.

Next were the three bodyguards, two female one male. They all had light body armour and black sunglasses, as well as earpieces which were all connected to each other. There weapons were all non lethal. A shotgun with rubber shotgun pellets, a tazer, and an extendable baton. Restrained but still deadly were these operatives.

Last, cursing loudly while carrying a large black suitcase, was the last minute addition to the group, head scientist of 'Project Gemstone', was Oscar Nimoy, his orange hair bouncing wildly while he cursed as only a scotsman does.

Once out, the six walked over to the black limo provided by Byzanthia. While not cutting edge, the limo was quite smart for a country who was on the verge of disaster. The driver opened the door the let them in the back. When were all in the driver got in the front, the front and back separated by glass.

As they all drove along, it was a sight to behold. First was the beautiful ornate countryside and rolling hills, then they passed into the city. The roads were wide and adorned with flags either side. You wouldn't think the city had been under siege, most of it was rebuilt. As the got closer to the Palace, they saw their first statue. Vidi turned to George.

"Who is that George?"

George smiled knowingly.

"That, is Prometheus, Greek god who created mankind and gave them fire"

George was then rudely interrupted by Oscar.

"Ye woulda thought that a civilization as advanced as the Greeks wouldn't mess with silly gods when ye got such a thing as science"

Vidi now turned to Oscar. While Oscar had been rude he felt he still should offer a respectful answer.

"Science can give you facts, but it can not give you happiness for some people"

Oscar was about the rebute Vidi's words when all of them noticed the destroyed Senate building. All payed a silent respect to the destruction. Vidi was also worried. While the investigation hadn't got far on Significance, mainly due to Significance being focused on 'internal problems', Vidi hoped the accusations were incorrect. He didn't want to lose a valuable friendly nation like Significance.

Of course these thoughts were contrasted when Vidi saw the statue of the first Prime Minister, which he duly saluted. Respect of democracy was always a welcome sight. Finally they reached the ornate Palace. Time for business.

They all got out the limo. They were greeted by guards from Byzanthia and what seemed to be a Byzanthian diplomat. Vidi was about to talk when a small beep was heard. It had come from Oscar's briefcase.

The Byzanthian's watched, intrigued, as Oscar opened the briefcase and removed some old gel packs to reveal a glowing purple gemstone, then took some new packs from his waistcoat to replace the old ones, then closed the case back up. Oscar saw the Byzanthian's watch him. He decided to speak up.

"I'd explain the science behind the packs and the gem, but ye probably wouldn't understand, unless ye din a degree in chemistry and physics"

The guards looked away awkwardly, and Vidi took this silence to finally speak.

"So, perhaps you'd like to show us round, give us a tour, if you will. Then afterwards maybe we can get down to businesses"

Vidi waited for a response.

Luciana and Yao sat in the white yacht, which flowed through the water. It proudly displayed the words, Republic of Silverakia.

The country had sadly, again split itself apart. The forests, mountains, and the lake in the center of the large island became ‘Silverakia’. It was disappointing for her. Amelia had disappeared, and all of Luciana’s co-governors/honorary siblings constantly fought each other all the time. Eric left them, hating the violence shown between them.

She hoped that they would unite someday.

They had an option to take a plane, but Luciana preferred the boat. They could enjoy the scenery, eat delicious food, be peaceful, and yet still get to the destination on time.

When the boat was parked, four figures got out. Luciana went out first. She had red hair in a ponytail, had blue eyes, and wore a formal black suit and blue pants. Yao went next, and wore slightly different clothing. He had short black hair, brown eyes, and wore an army uniform. A Silverakian flag and the General of The Army armband (Five Stars) were donned on his shoulder. Then there was Felix, a skilled biologist and chemist, who discovered the strange alien-creature. He wore a white lab coat, black leggings, black boots, white gloves, and was carrying a bullet-proof glass box with an odd-looking blob in it. Finally, there were the two Secret Service guards, James and Peter. They wore identical tuxedos, armbands, and carried rifles in a case.

A couple of men led them to a small, 11-seated black limo. Yao shifted around, uncomfortable in the space.

After arriving a few minutes later, they arrived at the Palace. Luciana, smiling at the statue, walked inside the Palace. The four followed, with neutral expressions on their face. A guard followed them, acting friendly and showing them around.

The Federal Guards, despite having been taught that nothing should surprise them, stood in awe as the head scientist held one of the most bizarre minerals to ever grace the face of the Earth. Snapping out of his trance, Wolfram Koch, the chief of staff, straightened his suit and extended his hand in greeting. "Greater Byzanthia extends its warmest regards in welcoming you to our nation. We hope that your surroundings please you. After all, the terrorist attacks in the last couple of months have hampered our rebuilding efforts", he glanced worriedly at the charred shell of the Senatorial Hall. Abruptly turning his head to face the again, he warmly invited them to enter the palace. "If you would please come with me. There is much to show you in little time". He then led the group, which now included the Silverakian delegation, in a tour around the palace. They passed grand ballrooms and large paintings of the nation's past leaders, along with the works of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Titian. The grandeur of the palace rivalled that of the Louvre or the Buckingham Palace. Everywhere the group went, they would be greeted with large vistas of the surrounding landscape, hallways adorned with ornate chandeliers and gold lead, and rooms filled with decadent furnitures imported from Persia and other nations from an era now long forgotten. The group finally reached the Prime Minister's office, a large rectangular room. Its walls were made of mahogany, engraved with the depictions of vines and leaves. The Prime Minister's desk sat at the head of the room, with its back facing the large avenues and fountains of the Federal Plaza. In front of his desk was a large wooden table, with multiple chairs situated around it. The chief of staff then invited everyone to take a seat. As Charles sat down at his desk, the Minister-President, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Defense settles down in the chairs closest to the Prime Minister.

The Imperium of Foledonia
Folreach, Capitol City
Imperial Stateroom
0800 - 8/26/2016

Emperor Foley nervously tapped his glass against the dark desk as his staff finished setting up the camera and lighting. The blue Joliquil sloshed in a bubbly spiral, the iridescent liquid threatening to spill over the top of the glass and run across the ebony wood surface. The lights snapped on and the blasto-glass windows behind the emperor became opaque, the national flag displaying on its surface. Two cameramen gave him a countdown and Foley placed his glass out of view of the cameras. 3... 2... 1...

The cameramen gave him a thumbs up and green lights snapped on. Foley cleared his throat and looked directly into the first camera, as a father might regard a worried child. "My fellow Imperials, the last few days have been concerning and confusing to say the least. If there are still those among you that haven't heard the news, then brace yourselves. I can confirm that not only have we been visited by an alien race, but apparently they currently reside on our planet, cooperating with the Greater Byzanthian Government. Shocking truly." The Emperor took a deep breath as he let the information set in. Doubtlessly, citizens across the country and the various planetary colonies were distraught with the information.

"This 'cooperation' on behalf of the Byzanthians is tantamount to racial betrayal. For them to easily accept these xenos as allies is not only ridiculous, but dangerous beyond measure. As I speak, portions of the Imperial battle fleet are en-route to a holding pattern over Byzanthian space. The Byzanthians shall evict the aliens and turn over their technology or face utter destruction. To the Byzanthian government, I say this; You have one week to comply before your insolence costs you dearly."

With that, the cameras snapped off and the crews began to disassemble. Foley picked up the glass of Joliquil and downed the dregs. He tapped it against a coaster and a nearby aid came over and began filling it again with the strong liquor. Foley, starting to feel the effects, glanced over at the aid. The young man was sharply dressed, his boots polished perfectly. He seemed starry eyed and attentive, but Foley could see the man was clearly distressed.

"Evans, is it?" Foley asked the aid. The man seemed startled at first but quickly dipped his head for a moment and replied, "Aye, my Lord. Evans Goake, second son of Haeban Goake, Sigmar rest his soul." Foley nodded somewhat dismissively, and repeated the sentiment. "How do you think it was Evans? The speech I mean?"

Evans hesitated, placing the jug of liquor on a nearby platter and then standing to attention. "Permission to address you freely, my Lord?" Foley nodded, sipping from his glass. "Evens looked the Emperor in the eye, lips pursed in regret. "I don't want to die sir. I'm afraid you're orchestrating a war that will cost us dearly. Your speech was foreboding, not rallying." The aid was brave, Foley gave him that.

"You seem to be forgetting something Evans," Foley said reassuringly as he stood and began moving towards the door to his chamber. Evans raised an eyebrow.

"The Emperor Protects."

I don't think you understood the rhetoric. I will gladly get parliament to find a reason to invade your petty oh so peace loving nation, I know that much of your nation isn't really peaceful anyways. I also understand that its quite possible you are communicating with foreign aliens. Disgraceful that is.

the Imperial palace, 13:12, outskirts of Zagreb

Gaj II., the Treskovian Grand Emperor, entered his office, sat down and touched the interface on his desk. A hologram appeared detailing everything happening in his nation, abroad, and beyond. Alasha, Queen of the Dragonoids, was laying on the sofa, reading a book about Treskovian history titled Treskovians in America. Samuel Hayden, Overseer of the Androids, was watching a video about cooking.
-"Hm, would you look at that.", suddenly said Gaj II.

As Alasha and Samuel Hayden looked at the Emperor, he continued:
-"A federal consitutional republic called Greater Byzanthia seems to be going through a civil war. They also seem to have been visited by - aliens?"

The Queen and the Overseer stood up. The Grand Emperor said:
-"Now, that doesn't surprise me at all. The aliens seem to be the Taigawans, an alien race our strayed starship, the IDTS Kaiser, contacted in orbit of that planet in the Andromeda galaxy. What was it called, Avaar? I think so. Anyway, I'll send some care packages to the government's forces and-"

Gaj II. stopped.
-"Actually, I think it's time for a change. Every time a war started anywhere in the world, we sent care packages to whoever was more democratic, and all that time, our military has just been sitting, doing nothing. It's time to change that. I will order all our troops to mobilize and aid the Greater Byzanthian government in reclaiming their land. It's about time our soldiers here on Earth see some action. Do you guys agree?"

Alasha said:
-"You have a good point there. I'm with you."

Samuel said:
-"My calculations say that this decision is not only preffered but logical as well."

The Grand Emperor looked at them, and said:
-"Well then, I guess we have a winner!"

Spyro Base, 07:36, Location classified

Liutenant Generaless Narana was on her way to her quarters when she was stopped by a human officer from Logistics Command.
-"Liutenant Generaless, it's for you."

He handed Narana a data-slate which read:

Interstellar Demonarchy of Treskovia
Forgive and Forget. -Gaj II.

To: Liutenant Generaless Narana Aryxon
From:The Imperial Trinity

Greetings, Liutenant Generaless,

We, the Human Grand Emperor, the Dragonoid Queen and the Android Overseer, have come to a decision that the full might of the Treskovian Armed Forces be put under your command and taken to the nation of Greater Byzanthia in order to help the government deal with a revolution. I expect you to move out as soon as possible, but around 10 in the morning tommorow is preferable.
Best regards,

Gaj II., Alasha III. and Samuel I., the Imperial Trinity of the Interstellar Demonarchy of Treskovia

------------------------------------------------------------------

Narana gasped at the 'under your command' part, but she wasn't discouraged. She liked that the Imperial Trinity decided to put every soldier of the nation under her control, but she also knew that that ment that the fates of 5 million humans, dragonoids(like herself) and androids were in her hands. She went to her quarters, took a bath, and went to sleep.

Spyro Base, 09:55, Location classified

The Liutenant Generaless was sitting inside a Harlequin troop transport, counting the ammo for her pistol. An android Corporal General approached her and said:
-"Liutenant Generaless, the troops are all in place."

-"Good. Let's go.", she replied.

With that said, a swarm of Harlequin troop transports went up from the base and began their long journey to Greater Byzanthia.

COMMUNIQUE OFFICIALIS IN MAGNA BYZANTHIAN PRO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE ON THE BEHALF OF THE GREATER BYZANTHIAN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

FEDERAL MINISTERIO FOREIGN NEGOTIIS | FEDERAL MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

To: The government of Foledonia
From: Oskar Warner, Minister of Foreign Affairs

Message:

Greater Byzanthia is in no position to do what you are asking. Our nation is on the brink of collapse, and these people might have the ability to save our nation. Contrary to your speech, we did not make an alliance with them. The fact that we are neutral prohibits us from doing that. We do not wish to start a war, partly because of our nation's resolve to peace, and also because we have neither the technology nor the men or women to accomplish such task. We therefore invite you to a meeting between the governments of multiple nations to discuss matters of peace and cohesion. I, along with my nation, hope to hear from you soon.

Signed,

- His Excellency, Prime Minister Charles Burgardt
- The Honorable Christoph Schroeter, Minister-President
- Oskar Warner, Minister of Foreign Affairs

7u Parliament, Aygons Reach

"All in favour of allowing The Commission and the Commissioners emergency powers granting 1) Ability to declare war and deploy troops with only 40% YES and then a whole paragraph of what seemed like small text was crammed in, all who support this to the left. All not in favour, to the right" The Speaker of the Seven United Parliament spoke, and the parliament went in circles until five minutes later.
"Counting begin" shouted the speaker

... .. . . .. ... . .. ...
"44 YES 39 NO"

House of Residence, Unknown Location in The Bailor

"Sir, they voted for emergency powers." the man in the suit left and shut the doors, leaving a bunch of files on the desk.

"Good.. good. They won't know what is coming." The 'man' picked up the phone and said "Its time. Run the files, get them ready. We'll do this, and we'll do it right. Tomorrow, yes?"
The 'man' left and switched off the flickering lights using an old antique switch, nearly breaking it in the process. He slammed the doors shut.

FEDERAL MINISTERIO FOREIGN NEGOTIIS | FEDERAL MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

To: The government of The Seven United
From: Oskar Warner, Minister of Foreign Affairs

Message:

I am afraid that you are mistaken. Byzanthia was founded on the basis of peace. The only reason why we are experiencing some..."trouble" was due to all of the terrorist attacks a couple months ago. We're just scared, that's all. The government of our nation is peaceful, and we are not going through a civil war. The government has just lost a lot of its power and influence, that's all. We implore you to understand these circumstances, and we hope that perhaps you could attend the meeting that we are hosting between the aliens and other nations devoted to keeping peace a top priority. I hope that you understand, and shall be waiting to hear from you soon.
