With the amount of content put into posts, it tends to create large paragraphs and a much longer post to read. If you make the text smaller, you're not reading the longest page in the universe with fifty lines worth of content per paragraph.

I understand why people do it... I'm just complaining about it. Seems like every person I see doing this is in a race to get to the smallest text possible. I couldn't even see the two links at the bottom of your post till I zoomed in a couple times.

I read with interest the opening post of this RP, but noted that it was all done from the POV
of high-powered leaders. I want to put in a few posts of people who are *NOT* uberwealthy or
uberpowerful, as too many posts are, and show things from a more common perspective.

Varies. The Metal Man is a cyborg. He wears bodies as if they were clothing, calling them “suits.”
He has many suits, but five are commonly used:

1) Contact Suit (appears an obese, elderly man)

2) The Box (less human-like, but tougher, stronger, etc.—shaped like two cubes, one on top of the other and sandy brown in color)

3) The Egg (prototype with skin that can alter shape, color and texture—prone to mechanical failure)

4) The Hornet (most combat-oriented of the common suits, hovers on maglevs, has a yellow, almost cylindrical main body and four green “limbs” set in the shape of an “X.)

5) The Toolz (engineering-oriented suit, shaped like a tapered cone, with slots in it that contain various tools—by rotating the suit, TMM can select different tools, and internal gearings allow tools to move within the suit so that different tools may be used in combination—moves on tank treads)

Without a suit, he is a tank of internal organs suspended in a clear liquid.

In this RP, I think he'll be mostly using the contact suit.

Mindy screamed at the top of her lungs. Her eyes were showing now, and they were filled with terror...and something else. Something in her would not stop fighting. The conflict was quite visible, as the red and gold auras fought for dominance, both in Mindy and the other four, who were also starting to move.

At last, it all went out. All that was left was the Metal Man and the woman he had raised from a terrified girl into a warrior who could take on a demon. And she looked at his scanners, and felt the love behind the machine.

"Daddy," she said, "its name is Svir'ka. It thinks that I am stronger than you, and that it can kill you because it killed me. It has lost the truth. Show it the truth, daddy. Show it."

And, with that, her body changed all into a golden glow and, as the Metal Man watched, it scattered throughout the room, and perhaps the entire universe. For a moment, the rest of the power armor glowed, too, and then, it, too, went silent.

And the Metal Man screamed a scream of anguish as he held the clothes that only a moment before had been the daughter he had never had. And he cried, knowing that, though he had freed them from lifetimes of unrelenting horror, it was not enough, and he would never get his children back again. His cries filled the empty room, and, for that moment, their echoes were his only company.

I'm debating on whether or not to accept this, seems borderline too sci-fi-y and too comedic by nature to be taken in a somewhat serious RP. I will be fine with the application, so as long as you understand that:

1.) New Castillo has four moons orbiting it, none of them are named 'Spek,' and each of them serve a strategic defense purpose. Thus, it would be quite alarming if a hundred-meter saucer suddenly took off in the midst of a coup.
2.) The Foundation and the New Freedom Alliance both seem to be a very powerful organization to have suddenly appeared out of nowhere, I suggest you tone things down a bit with them. I'm already having a hard time taking this seriously as it is.
3.) Olea is pretty much on lock-down, meaning that unless you have permission to travel to it from the highest of offices (ie, my character), then you will probably be shot down by the Loyalists and thus probably killing all of your characters.

That would make sense, tactically-speaking, but Olea and New Castillo seem to be getting a bit... crowded.

I'm soon going to open up another front within the next day or so, and am brainstorming some ideas on how to do so, I'll telegram you once I start coming up with things.

Yet, if nothing else, there is always that whole 'best defense is a good offense' strategy.

A few run ins with the law, and her family's death, she became a drunk and was drafted in to the Colonial Marines, went through basic, and was transferred to the Office of Naval intelligence, namely the Section 17 Black Ops unit. Trained as a stealth infiltration and assassin, she's a dead shot and dead quiet. now, 4 years later, she finds her self being sent on a mission to a system she didn't care about...but orders are order.

Biography: Sylvia was born in Roikai, a small town inside the Path to Shangri-La Dyson Sphere, a shield-world constructed at the edge of the Yul star system, the Ecumene's home system. She led an average life and nothing remarkable happened untill she turned 18 and joined the Imperial Navy. Proving herself to be loyal and devoted, she was fast-tracked to Shipmaster by Shi'era, one of the empresses' daughters and a key figure in the Imperial military. Then I'll secure that location and get a ship in-atnosphere to drop the spire. Once that deploys I can begin deploying my forces and they wonrt see the ship doing the drop or my troops untill they leave the shield projected by the Spire. They will however see the Spire itself and every other ship.

Sylvia is a Fleetmaster, which is below the rank of Admiral. Unless your nation has some connection to the Ecumene and aided her and Shi'era in destroying the rebellion on Miyesmos you would'nt know her.

You might somehow intercept interstellar communications but getting a personnel file would be hard for a foreign power to do, expecially hers, since Sylvia was only active in my home system. We don' t go around sharing that kind of information with nations we barely know.

He is on Olea, at the imperial palace, with the Queen. The whole compound is more or less on lockdown and is practically a fortress. Not sure if you plan on taking on the security forces, but I'd advise waiting on attempting to instill John to power until after the immediate conflict is over. Olea is quite heavily fortified.
