Major Civil Unrest in Altis: What we know so far!
The situation in OSAN worsens as another member-state faces heavy political turmoil.

Image

Amongst the chaotic military takeover that rocks the Arengin Union, another flashpoint has risen up within ONSAN, this time within the Republic of Altis, as Monarchist and Socialist supports clash with Nationalist supports and elements of the Altian Police Force and Altian Armed Forces. The situation in Pyrgos has worsened overnight, as Socialists bombed the Altian Government Building and Monarchists have successfully gained 'control over' two neighbourhoods in Eastern Pyrgos. Here is what we know so far.

Prior to these events, the Republic of Altis had been under military junta from 1982 to 2015 after the Altis Defence Forces launched a surprise military offensive against the Monarchy and its loyalist forces and seized control of the country within a matter of months, since then, the Monarchy has been banned and been living in exile, the Kingdom of Altis was effectively dissolved in 1982, paving way for the republic in 1983. country. The military government voluntarily stepped down in 2015 to pave way for democratic elections, stating that "the job of rebuilding Altis had been completed." Under the Liberation Party of the Republic of Altis, or LIPA, Altis' economy grew into an international power, crime rates significantly dropped, the average wage increased ten times fold, infrastructure was repaired and millions of jobs were created across Altis. Just after LIPA stepped down in 2015, a transitional government consisting of 1 minister from each of Altis' major political parties was formed to maintain control over the country until democratic elections in 2016.

As the votes began to come in, it became clear that currently the main contenders in elections were the Liberation Party, which barely had a lead over the other two contenders, the Monarchist Party and the Labour Party. Supporters of the Monarchist Party and Labour Party began to vent their anger, they felt that if the elections would continue this way, even if the Liberation Party did not get past 51% of the votes, if it got the majority of the votes, due to Altis' voting system, the Liberation Party would be given power over the country. Monarchists and Socialists have discussed merging after the elections, which would give them the majority vote, but fear such merger would be shunned by LIPA who would try and consolidate their position over the country as soon as possible - despite a merger technically being legal under Altian law.

By morning the frustration from the Monarchists and Socialists had turned into sheer anger as they took to the streets of Pyrgos to call for a complete overhaul of the voting system and a resit of the general elections. Monarchist and Socialist supporters were able to gain control of several main roads in East and Central Pyrgos, prompting serious travel delays. The protests sparked a wider chain of frustration and supporters of the Nationalist Party, or NAPA, took to the streets to push back the Monarchist and Socialist supporters, what occurred next were scenes of utter violence and pandemonium as Nationalist supporters clashed with Monarchist and Socialist supporters all across Pyrgos, resulting in shops and businesses being seriously damaged and several buildings and cars set on fire. LIPA's spokesperson, as LIPA is head of the Transitional Government, stated that if Monarchist and Socialist parties did not control their supporters, the Transitional Government will be dissolved and LIPA will return to power to maintain "constitutional order" until the general elections are over. This provoked outrage and soon after, an explosion rocked the capital in the early hours of the morning, as Monarchist and Socialist supporters converged on the Altian Government Building and bombed the main entrance and reception area's. The Altian Police Force on the scene were overwhelmed and ended up opening fire on the protesters, fearing for their lives, believing the protesters were about to charge at them and attempt to enter the Altian Government Building. The Transitional Government commented on this, calling for the "utmost restraint" from all sides.

Several battalions from the Altian Army have been deployed all across Pyrgos to help restore "constitutional order" to troubled areas but did not receive a good reception by Monarchist and Socialist supporters, there was nearly an hour of continuous gunfire and small barrages of gunshots can be heard every so often - however the Altian Army were embraced by Nationalist supporters. 104 off duty Officers and 920 off duty Enlisted Personnel have been arrested by the Altian Police Force for taking part in supporting the Monarchist and Socialist protesters, allegedly, attempting to create an armed insurgency against the Transitional Government, however this has further provoked the rage of Monarchist and Socialist supporters who claim that the Altian Police Force and the Altian Defence Forces are attempting to "use their support to consolidate their power and clamp down on political freedoms." Why are they saying this? During the 1982 coup, the Altian Defence Forces were loyal to the Liberation Party, and since the Republic of Altis was declared in 1982, the Altian Defence Forces have remained largely loyal to the Liberation Party as its personnel have been built up and taught Center-right politics by the party, this means some may fear that the ADF will enforce the will of the Liberation Party and not actually be trying to restore "constitutional order."

President Alena Vorshevsky has expressed her "utmost concern" for Chkalovskians that currently reside in Pyrgos, a popular tourist destination for Chkalovskians who are looking for a good time to spend in the Channel Sea, and has urged them to stay inside at all times until the situation on the streets calm down. Earlier on, in a speech, she announced her personal support for the Liberation Party, as well as condemnation for the Christian Party, "It is important that the citizens of the Republic of Altis vote for the right party, so they can enjoy a safe, secure future full of social and economic prosperity, that is why we believe that it is a no-brainer that they vote for the Liberation Party. LAPA has done more for the Republic of Altis than any other party has, despite taking power in an un-demoratic way, they guided the Republic of Altis out of a era of war, famine, poverty and crime into an era of riches, prosperity, power, and economic growth. LAPA is truly the peoples choice... I dont think CAPA is really a Christian Party at all, we are taught as Christians to love thy neighbour and treat others how you want to be treated. I think that CAPA is trying to use the fact that quite a decent proportion of Altians are religious to win a cheap vote. Hopefully it doesn't work." President Alena Vorshevsky has also called for calm in Pyrgos and has asked that all parties involved in the civil unrest to stand down so the city can return to normal, and has also praised the efforts of the Altis Defence Forces and the Altis Police Force in trying to maintain law and order.

It is safe to say that OSAN is going through a tough time right now, but its member-states must ride it out in order for the military coalition to stay operational. With votes still coming in from across the Republic of Altis, it is too early to predict whether the situation will better itself, or if it will get worse, but it is almost certain that pending the results of these democratic elections, not only Chkalovskian, but OSAN interests are being put on the line, as the Monarchist party will most likely withdraw from OSAN, thus, OSAN loses its power projection over the Channel Sea. Chkalovsk would also be loosing a major trade and economic partner. All we can do is wait, and see.

Major Shetland had been strolling through the streets of Pyrgos for the whole day. The Isle'ish Embassy, his normal place of work, was considered to dangerous, and so all employees had been advised to stay at home until the riots were over or the consulate would give out another message. From his current knowledge, the part of the city he was currently moving in was under tight control of the ADF, so he was in no particular danger.

Shetland was an Aide assigned to the Royal Ambassador. It was not unusual for such a position to be filled with an officer of the Royal Army. The Military had a tight control over the Government on the Isles, and obviously wished for a similiar scenario on Altis. This is why the Isle'ish Embassy had been temporarily shut down; they had received over two-hundred bomb threats from Monarchists and Socialists in the last night.

The Officer generally couldn't mind them. He understood their sentiment: The Military Junta on Altis wasn't nearly as nice or benevolent as that on the Isles, which was usually friendly towards its own populace. Shetland was spoken to by a grumpy soldier at every turn and corner, but they amusingly always turned nice, neutral, or even fearful if he pulled out his Trooper's Passport (An alternative passport issued to Royal Army Members). The Altians did recognize the wasp nest that they were treading on. Not only the Isle'ish were on their tails now, but also many others...

Alexander had resided in Pyrgos for about 11 years and had never seen anything like this in his life, since he left the Union State. On every main road, at nearly every twist and turn, there were hundreds of Altis Defence Force troops enforcing roadblocks, putting down sandbags and manning checkpoints. The city was alive, noise bellowing from every street corner in Pyrgos, there was not a single moment of peace, the horns of cars blaring, the shouts of protesters, it was all an orchestra of chaos. Hundreds of thousands of protesters a variation of red flags and the old flag of the Kingdom of Altis, prior to the 1982, changing slogans such as "no more junta!" and "free the people!" Alexander felt quite lost by all of this as he slowly walked down a long road, as he walked he looked to his left, and saw Armoured Fighting Vehicles advancing down a different street, as he looked to his right, he saw protesters ransacking vehicles and small businesses, he looked up and saw an UH-60M of the Altian Air Force circling over a certain area, just north east of him. Suddenly there was an explosion from the inside of one of the shops that protesters were ransacking, hundreds of protesters began running in different directions, some towards the scene, some away from it. As Alexander got his phone out and started to record the pandemonium, 20 Altis Defence Force troops tried to advance on the scene to see what had happened, but hundreds of angry protesters encircled them, attacking them with sticks, rocks, and missiles. The UH-60M that was encircling the area previously flied towards Alexander a bit and then hovered, turning 90 degree's and then its 20 mm Gatling gun opened fire in short bursts at some empty shops, some bullets appeared to hit the protesters and they fell to the ground, wounded. From the massive crowd of running protesters, a few shots rang out and visibly hit the cockpit of the UH-60M, which pulled away after that. A soldier opened fire momentarily, and eventually the shots stopped, but the crowd kept running. Alexander did his best to film all this, and once things calmed down, immediately uploaded the video to his youtube account.

Ganza Reaction

Postby Ganza » Mon Jul 18, 2016 4:34 pm

The Prime Minster of The Federal Republic of Ganza Leah Jace sat in her big conference room at the brown oak table, with her security council sitting around the table. There was her chief of staff on her left Mike Stone and her intelligence chief Laura Jace the prime minster sister. On the right side of the table sat the Vice Admiral of the Navy Liam Smith, Vice General of the Ground Forces Jack Brown, Vice Marine General of the Marines Tobie Brown, Vice Marshall of the Air Force Harry Sath and General Kaine Mash of the Special Forces. They had given the Prime Minster her security briefing and Atlis was the main focus today.

"So ladies and gentlemen seems we have a situation in Atlis, now we will try and solve this with diplomacy first it does seem that the situation is bad but not so bad it needs intervention forces, plus OSAN has not yet requested a military force to be sent, however Vice Admiral Smith we had a war game exercise with Polosnian has it been canceled?"

The Admiral looked down at his tablet for a second. "Yes Prime Minster it has as of the current situation, the second joint carrier strike force is in port in Polosnian.'

'The second fleet is part of the Joint Task Force with Polosnian I am correct?"

"Yes Prime Minster."

"Very well put them on standby in case, gentlemen I will want your deployment plans over the next few days in case with what we may send. Now Laura based on your threat assessment how safe is it to send a diplomat to Atlis?"

Laura looked at her sister in the eyes. 'It is safe at the moment."

"Very well we shall send the Foreign Minster with a security team from the Diplomatic Protection Unit. I shall call the Atlis government and offer our support. Mike will you contact the Foreign Minster?"

"Yes Prime Minster." Mike replied.

And with that the meeting was over, things uncertain on how Ganza would respond. Mike set things up with the Foreign Minster Adam Marshall and with the Diplomatic Protection Unit with eight men. The Prime Minster sent a message to the Atalis government.

To the Atalis Government,

Please be reassured ganza is sending help, I am sending the Foreign Minster to see what he can do to sort out the situation. He will help in any way he can.

Thank you,

Leah Jace PM of The Federation of Ganza.

As Johann entered the conference, Department of Defence president Inaho Kaizuka gave Johann a stern yet calm look as he carefully sat down in the conference table made out of Glass and Marble, along with a hologram system and a touchscreen support. As the table whirred quietly to life, holograms pop up and news reports, youtube videos of the situation and Operation reports pop up in the screen. Uninterested, Johann squeezed them into a ball and placed them in a holographic folder, awaited to be analyzed.
Kaizuka cleared his throat and spoke in a stern yet polite voice "Sir, these are the latest news and troubles currently OSAN is going through" Kaizuka spoke softly. "It may be wise to reinforce and fortify the Embassy of Zelenidskaya, Given their current position and circumstances. Civil Unrest along with riots are currently rampaging through Altis, as it is-"

"Well, lets take this as an opportunity." Johann interrupted. "Obviously they are in a state of disarray right?" Johann spoke with a soft and playful tone. "Your options are wise, i am glad to have you recruited as one of my top brass personnel. But let us see what the fellow nations shall do first before we punch out any rolling thunder. Remember, it is much more wise to think twice and learn about the situation than pull the trigger continuously and hope to kill what you wanted gone."

Kaizuka nodded in agreement and smiled. "I remember that time... where you were there to help us out... We thought you were crazy but, you weren't". As Inaho looked at the dogtags around his neck and smiled. "I only did what i needed to do. You are my people, you are my brother-in-arms and listen... You still owe me that Whisky!" Chuckles Johann followed with hearty laughter. Inaho smiled, and spoke with a firm and calm voice

"Shall i begin an operation to escort the ambassadors out of the nation sir?"

"Indeed, get our men and women home, please. Oh and Don't forget the civilians. Pull them out, as if i was placed under that situation where my daughter is caught underneath all that crossfire, i'd want her home. Understood?"

"Understood."

Second Lieutenant Farajallah Masood Allam stood in front of the Bahtari embassy along with a few other soldiers. They held their Protector submachine guns, ready if any of the unrest were to spread to the Bahtari embassy. The small platoon of 15 were spread all over the embassy grounds, not opening the gate for anyone except Bahtaris who wish to take refuge from the chaos in the Bahtari embassy. Sounds were heard not far away and protesters moved up and down the streets carrying flags of the Kingdom of Altis and red communist flags. They went around ransacking shops and cars while chanting anti-junta slogans. They started to approach the Bahtari embassy and that was when things got tense. Two soldiers at the gate ran towards the Second Lieutenant, who was guarding the door of the embassy.

"Sir! The protesters are approaching here, hundreds of them! They were chanting anti-Junta and anti-OSAN slogans sir!"

The second lieutenant signaled to a few other soldiers inside of the embassy.

"I want the embassy on complete lockdown! Get the ambassador safe, now!" shouted Allam. The soldiers inside quickly closed a metal shutter while closing blinds and bringing the Bahtari ambassador to the guard's armory room on the second floor. Allam and the soldiers outside ran to the gates, shutting it closed. The protesters started getting closer and closer to the Bahtari embassy. Allam and the other soldiers took cover near the front gate while Allam held on to a megaphone.

The soldiers stood up, aiming their guns at the protesters behind the seat.

"Disperse from the area near the compound or we will fire!"

The crowd kept approaching while shouting things like, "You wouldn't dare!" and "Down with the junta!". Several rocks were hurled at the gates, some hitting a few soldiers, slightly injuring them.

Allam nodded and put it down while he took his gun. "Fire!"

The Bahtari embassy guards fired at the ground near where the protesters were standing and the group started running. Amidst the running crowd, several protesters stopped to hurl more rocks while some took out handguns and began firing rapidly at the Bahtari guards, emptying clips of ammunition before running away.

Several of the bullets hit two of the Bahtari soldiers injuring one while killing the other one instantly with a lucky shot to the head. The Bahtari soldiers single-fired back, with several bullets hitting the protesters who decided to shoot back and hurl more rocks.

They dropped to the ground, bloody and wounded. Allam gave an order to bring the injured and dead guards inside while the remaining guards got ready in case the protesters were to return...

Pyrgos, Altis Island
Republic of Altis

Every news station in the country, but particular in Pyrgos, were covering the story. In every major headline brief, it came up, just with different titles; "ADF helicopter engages civilians", "Explosions and gunfire rock Pyrgos", "ADF condemns barbaric attack on soldiers" and "Terror attack leaves multiple dead" were just some of the headlines circulating around on every newspaper and in every news bulletin. The Altis Defense Forces had began to consolidate their position in the city after yesterdays attack, which left 4 ADF soldier skilled and 11 wounded, an 10:30 PM curfew would be enforced in the city, starting tonight. The city was alive with noise as protesters and supports from all kinds of different parties made their voices heard throughout the capital, often clashing with rival party supporters and the Altis Police Force, spontaneous gunfire could be heard echoing throughout the city, no matter where anyone went. In Central Pyrgos, near the government building, Armoured Fighting Vehicles of the Altian Army moved through the streets, pushing back the angry mobs of Monarchist and Socialist protesters, with Altis Defence Forces troops following closely behind the vehicles, clearly on edge. Several UH-60M Utility Helicopters were constantly hovering over the city, carrying troops from several different battalions of the Altian Army, the troops inside the helicopters were armed with sniper rifles, occasionally, deafening shots would be heard ringing out the helicopters high above, and people would go crashing to the ground, not knowing where they were aiming, or where the bullet would land. More and more arrests began to sweep the city as the Altis Police Force cracked down on dissidents.

There had been abnormally large amounts of gunfire from the areas around the Bahtari Embassy had attracted the attention of the Altis Defence Forces. Two A-143C Buzzard Multirole Aircraft had been scrambled from Selakano Air Base due to the stale situation at Gravia International Airport and flew in towards the city, low. They were armed to the teeth and as they flew in low, everyone could see the Lazer Guided Bombs and Rocket Pods attached to the hardpoints of the two warplanes. They came in over the bay, flying over a large group of protesters, sending them ducking for their lives as they believed they were about to be strafed. The jets flew nearly at ground level over a large field leading up to the Bahtari Embassy and then pulled up to roof top level and flew over the Bahtari Embassy. As they flew over, they dipped their right wing down at a 45 degree angle to enable them to look onto the ground from their cockpits, the planes were so low the pilots sworn they made eye contact with some of the Bahtari's down below, and popped flares before levelling out. The planes repeated the process three times, which appeared to be rather intimidating to the Bahtari's.

"Nothing down there, looks like a security op."

"Returning to base, over."

With the crisis in Altis being yet another issue directed towards the Republic by its allies, the right-wing party with their Voices in the Council jumped on exploiting the disappointment of the patriotic anti-foreigner demographic by asking questions such as "Why are we allowing other nations to direct our actions?" in debates.

While the separatist Impenusi people were busy ripping each other apart in the socialist revolution, Tomas Sebastian no longer had to worry about attack once the JTF would be sent to aid Altis.

First, he had to talk to the Ganzans to discuss their course of action and make sure the mild tensions in Polosnia didn't reach a dangerous point (not that the majority of radicalizing could fight adequately) as well as to find a solution to the new conflict.

Dear leader of the Ganzan Federation,

It has come to my attention that the Republic of Altis has come under a lot of strain recently what with the controversy of the elections and the mess of parties fighting between each other aggressively.

So, I propose our military commanders work together to use the Joint Task Force effectively and rescue civilians, maintaining a hostile presence towards violent resistance.

I would like to hear your reply soon.

Sincerely,

Tomas Sebastian

Esgonian Embassy

"Just another day at the office, eh?"

Ambassador Stronghart observes from his window as gunfire erupted from all over the city and fires can be seen from the horizon. For the past few months they had been here, this was the most stressing day for them, but for most of the embassy staff, this is what they were used to, as some of them had been through battlegrounds.

As heavily-armed embassy security personnel seal off the main gate, and block anyone going through, despite the multiple threats of bombings and attacks on the embassy, save for Esgonian citizens who had proper identification and papers, staff simply held their breath as news reports came in, a military Junta had taken over the country. Another nation falling into the hands of their corrupt military. Meanwhile, a young woman approaches the desk of the ambassador, a liaison agent from the Esgonian Intelligence Embassy, who were deployed in Esgonian Embassies to conduct black operations should Eldrichta deem a code red.

"Any words from Eldrichta, Mister Ambassador?" she asks from him. He turns to her and sits down on his seat. "Yes, Eldrichta says to lock down the embassy, prevent anyone but Esgonians from going through, and to wait this out until situation returns to normal or Code Red is initiated.",

"So, no go-code?"

"As for you, however." the Ambassador replies as another report comes in. "You've been activated. Your orders are to investigate the whole situation, gather as much intel as you can. OSAN would probably mobilize soon but higher-ups from Eldrichta want to see the bigger picture."

"Aye, sir. I'll get right on it."

"Be careful, and good luck."

She then heads to her quarters and prepares for her mission. Grabbing a coat and a scarf to protect herself, she gets at least 2 "Snake Cams", small cameras that have IR capabilities to take photos of anything that is deemed worthy, along with a phone to contact the embassy, and a suppressed P226R. Once she was done, she heads out the back door, being escorted on the way out by a Marine guarding the embassy, and walks through the streets of Altis, watching as the chaos unfolds.

Hassinian Embassy in Altis

Ambassador Jacqes Holland sat at his desk glaring at the report the Director to the Full International Community had nicely compiled for him. Groaning at the site of all the paperwork and already aware of the terrible situation (hell, he could here gunshots and protests outside). He stretched out, grabbed one of those fancy pens, and opened the files. It was the same bullshit he had already heard, a coup-clash between Monarchist/Socialists and Nationalists. What in hell did he not know? As much as he was a part of it, Jacqes despised the government, a nationalist and authoritarian at heart, he found it hard to express his views. If he did, he would get pummeled by the liberals in the Parliament and the Central Directory. The Director would probably file a petition to revoke his Ambassadorship, he knew the bitch. International Community Director Maxine Gounod and her liberal cronies in the Directory knew how to beat around the bush. He calls himself a centrist before the crowed, but secretly, he was a far-right conservative at heart.

Every door and area of the embassy was sealed. The majority of non-essential personnel had evacuated to the safe rooms. He, of course, stayed. The main gate of the embassy was completely closed off. Jacqes ordered no one in until they could confirm the identity. Embassy Guards dressed in full military gear were posted at practically every door, window and open space. It looked like one of those nuclear bunkers. That didn't stop people from trying to enter the embassy or send death threats, but such matters were swiftly and violently 'taken care of.'

Jacqes secretary, an old man who he had personally selected because he hated the hot women secretary cliché, stormed into his office. Jacqes stood as it was customary.

"You bring news." Jacqes declared impatiently, gripping the sides of his desk.

"I do, the Directory will meet in a special session any minute now to discuss the situation. You are to talk to the Director to the Full International Community and bring her up to speed. After which, you will evacuate to the bunker and perform your duties there. The secretary said calmly.

"I don't need that... to tell me what to do. Under who's authority does this Embassy lay on?" Jacqes blurted, red-faced.

"This embassy is in the care of the Government of Monthuhasse. Sir, you are not the top dog in this instant!" The secretary challenged. Knowing he was in the wrong Jacqes relented. "OSAN is aware of the situation, I presume."

"Yes, mobilization of OSAN troops will be imminent,we will be called to mobilize as well." The secretary responded honestly.

"Very well, after they do their thing, get me on the line with Director Gounod. I will begin evacuating now." Jacqes stood, followed by his guards, his intention was to get out of this alive. He would get out of this alive.

The Central Directory Building, Augustine's Square, Victore

"Order, order!" the Chairman of the Directory and Director of Sports and Culture, Avior Silan said as he banged his gavel. He became Chairman just two weeks ago and hated the job. This day was by far one of the worst. Avior was a man in his 50's and is one of the longest siting members of the Directory. In Monthuhasse, Directors have no term limits but can be subject to a recall vote by the general public. In his thirteen years as Director of Sports and Culture, he only fought in two recall elections, which he won by a large margin. Avior was a laid back people-person. He liked joking and public outreach. Chairing the Central Directory definitely wasn't his idea of fun.

In the middle of the large, high-tech conference room stood a statue of Saint Augustine of Victore, the founder and patron saint of Monthuhasse. Even though it was a secular state, Monthuhasse loved its religion. Portraits of St. Philistines and the Last Supper hanged across the wall. Avior loved his nations patron saint, in fact, his name is based off of one of St. Augustine's aids. He loved to admire the statue. But their was not time to admire this time.

"Let Director Gounod speak!" Avior shouted the rest of the twenty-five man directory. The young Director to the Full International Community stood.

"As you all know, their is crisis across Altis. I am prepared to do whatever it takes to resolve it." Director Gounod spoke, she had already filled the Directory in on the situation.

"What is the status of OSAN involvement?" The Defense Director, Augustine Nélän spoke.

"None as of yet, but word will come soon" Gounod responded.

"Then, Mr. Chair I move that we put the majority of our committed troops to OCAN, say 13,000 on readiness to deploy." Director Nélän petitioned.

"Slow down, we don't know if the response will be militaristic. Until OSAN notifies us, what is the point of putting 13,000 restless troops on standby? the pacifist Director of the Environment challenged.

"Let's put it to a vote. All those in favor say 'aye'" a hymn of 'aye's followed. "All those who appose, say 'nay'" a smaller hymn of 'nay's' persisted. "The 'aye's' have it. The Directory hereby orders the Armed Forces to put 13,000 troops on standby-alert until further word comes. Until then, DISMISSED!" Avoir looked towards the Parliament Spokesperson "Tell the Speaker to convene a debate session of Parliament to discuss the course of the situation." With a nod, the spokesperson hurried off.

The Directors filed out of the room.

The Prime Minster was at her big oak desk at her black slim desktop reading a threat assessment on the screen about the terrorist group The Freedom Movement when an email icon appeared in the left hand corner of her screen. She touched the icon on the screen and the email opened it read.

She thought for a second and sent an email to her Special Forces Commander to come to her office right away. She then started too type a reply to the Polosnia leader Tomas Sebastian.

Dear Tomas Sebastian,

I have already set things in motion with putting the Second fleet and the other elements of the JTF on standby for the Republic of Altis current situation.

I do agree we should work together with our military commanders and each other. I also concur the JFT should focus on evacuating and rescuing civilians. Also should protect OSAN forces with the air power we have.

The Admiral of the second fleet has already been given orders to work with your forces. You should be aware I am authorizing a small SF unit to move into Atlis for recon and intelligence. Please put all your units in the JTF on standby.

Sincerely,

Prime Minster Leah Jace

As she sent the email General Kaine Mash walked in and closed the door. He walked into the middle of the room.

He saluted. "Mam you wished to see me?"

She nodded at him. "Yes General please take a seat.'

The General walked forward and sat down in the brown leather chair of two opposite the Prime Minster.

'Now with the Foreign Minster going he can get some information but we need to know what is going on the ground. Any ideas."

"Yes mam." The General smiled, knowing his boys and girls were up to the task. "Yes mam a small team from the Recon Operation Unit a team of four and a REAPER team to help team of eight.'

'Very well you have my permission but strictly recon only, nothing else."

The General stood up straightening his uniform and saluted 'Yes mam.' With that he turned around and walked away out of the room and closed the door.
