Before I start rp'ing the initial city forays, is the normal population by and large evacuated? Or is there a chance we bump into civilians whilst inside buildings and the like? Not sure how well they'd take to random, heavily armed blue people in their living room.

The suburbs of the city have been completely evacuated. The further into the centre of the city you get the more people there are.

Righto! So, one super-duper-techno-stealthy corvette, a company's worth of elite soldiers and some four dropships to carry small squads down to the surface. That be my battle plan. As stated, the Farledorian Union isn't declaring itself apart of the war whatsoever, but that doesn't stop itself from being a "secret benefactor" and trying to support Cosmo with elite squads of soldiers. The ulterior motives of the Union however are to study battle tactics, tangle with enemy troops for a bit and see if they can steal technology where it lay. That good? (Of course with this being war, I doubt it'll go as planned at all)

Also plan to have a character, but since my only named character thus far is involved in another thread, I'll need to come up with a new one...
EDIT: Sorry! May be premature to ask- any location you recommend deploying troops at? Not sure where I'd put my troops.

Hum, I can't seem to find a visual representation to get my bearings as to what is going on. IE, I can't find a planetary map of any description.

I don't need one to RP, but I'd prefer to have one just for easy reference.

I don't have a map of the local vicinity. Just imagined hundreds of huge Craters around 100 metres from each other.
