HOST NATION: The Ravagery
IC page is coming soon.
The Hammerfall Games are a yearly gladiatorial competition hosted by the LoM. Originally conceptualised in the Mechanocracy of Russia, the Games have since become a multiversal phenomenon, with combatants of all dimensions and timelines clashing together in a spectacular and altogether bloody fight to the death*.
*all deceased combatants will be returned to life after their fight, thanks to the Temporal Quantum Symmetry Causality Reversal Technobabble Thingamajigger 5000 (patent pending)
Spectating entities will have to wait a bit before the IC section is established, since it is necessary to discuss the conduct of the Games (divisions, weapon rules, et cetera). Also, this OP will be greatly expanded as details are agreed upon.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
- The rules of NationStates still apply. Your character can do whatever to other characters though, within reasonable limits.
- Please avoid posting one-liners. Not to be confused with the silly catchphrases you find in cheesy action films. Try to put as much detail into each post as you can - at least a paragraph will suffice. In order to encourage creativity and good-quality writing, one-liners are only permitted in moderation.
- Good grammar and spelling is ideal. If English is not your first language, I can understand, but please keep it at least legible.
- Please for the love of God use the application.
- Be realistic, and don't godmod. This mainly applies to injury reception. Unless your character chugs a jerry can-full of morphine every five seconds, he's going to feel it when he gets bludgeoned, slashed or shot. Also do not describe injuries on other players without their permission! (Trivial injuries, such as a small cut or a bash to the nose, are fine.)
Please be active. One post a week without prior notification of inactivity is the longest you can go before your character gets bumped off.- No jellyfish, period. Those who are unfamiliar with the LoM's ways may be wondering why this is even getting a mention in the terms ... but trust me, this is for the sake of preserving everybody's sanity.
- Last but not least, have fun! Or else...
Failure to abide by the above terms will result in Very Bad Things™ happening to either players or characters in the RP.
