Novus Universale - Aurorealis Regional Roleplay

As the sun rises on the world of Aurorealis, one can only imagine how much the planet Earth has changed over the years. Rulers have had their glory days and have also fallen, cultures rose and toppled as the sun does all the same, and an rather peculiar establishment has taken it's toll on the Earth. For better or worse.
The year is 1500. You, the player, will lead your Nationstate through its glory days or to complete and total collapse.
Wars have been fought in history and many nations have been founded. This is a time of change, innovation, and even warfare. Inventions once thought impossible are being created by geniuses in labs, new methods of engineering, trade, politics, and above all else warfare are being introduced to the public every year. As the sun rises once again on planet Earth a new age dawns. It is up to the nations of Earth to write this new age for themselves and for the history books. History is book that is only half complete, the pen is yours.

Since it was requested whole-heartedly in the past, the new and hopefully final Roleplay for Aurorealis will have a set of specific rules to make Roleplay enjoyable for all of its players. This will include reforms to technology, population, economy, military, and the gameplay of the Roleplay in general.
Rules and Analysis:
Foundation and Population - Reforms have been brought to both of these categories. For now on nations will have to choose a set population amount (less than their NS nation) that realistically works with the amount of land the nation has. The maximum population will be 25, but this should only be used if you have a major amount of excess land. Most nations should be have 1-10m. Small countries like those in Europe shouldn't be too overly crowded, and if your nation is know that this will be used against you in terms of overpopulation. -Note that when you divide your population, you must also divide your nationstates general statistics at a rate that corresponds evenly (doesn't apply to things you've worked for such as Religiousness, Defense Forces, and Scientific Advancement).
Technology - No longer will the first poster have the edge in an endless race of technology. The quality of your military's technology will be based on your nation's actual stats. If you are a world superpower with a glorious population of 1m, high Defense Forces and spending, and a good amount of Scientific Advancement, then you will naturally be able to make better technologies. Technologies can be taken from the real world, but you can also create your own techs as long as they follow the rules listed and do not involve any sort of god modding.
New NPC - Non Player Controlled nations will no longer fall as easily as they did in the past. NPC nations will now fight back with their modern day military might and statistics under the hand of either a nation in their support, or a member of Aurorealis's Senate.
This is NOT just a war RP, this is an everyday general life RP too.
Plane crashes, oil rig fires, earthquakes, humanitarian missions and such all included. (Got to have that trademark 2UAN heritage note).
