PARZAL EXPANDS!

Today, it was announced that new territory is to be annexed by Parzal in a press conference early yesterday morning. Aldus Herbert, the current Chief of Staff, has said that Parzalian troops have invaded and occupied nearby Parzalian countries, after they refused to sign the Unification Act.

Many were stunned by the drastic turn of events, but have expressed their support, saying that any actions taken to finally unify Parzal are worth it. Viklan Von Lichinstein has yet to comment, but we will inform you as soon as he makes an official statement.
Also announced at the conference was the colonization of a small piece of land in Africa, with government officials saying that they plan on expanding the colony even further.

Within the past weeks the nation of Tsujan in its quest for resources to power its economy has expanded into both Asia and Africa. The nation has laid claim in Indochina and Madagascar to which it has renamed Mizjiang(Indochina) and Fijiang(Madagascar). The purpose of these acquisitions are not only for resources, but efforts to make use of the natural beauty of both nations to be used for tourism purposes as well as colonization.

As pressure mounted over the past week Prime Minister Coman Zerhouni of Algeria, the current head of the North African regional membership of the Hellenic Commonwealth, was forced to cave in to the demands of protesters in Greece and Turkey today as he announced that elections would be held. However in a bid to hopefully maintain control of the primarily Salafist and Right-Wing parliament, the Prime Minister announced that only two weeks time would be given for candidates to apply for the election and begin their campaigning across the entirety of the commonwealth. While this has been called a 'detriment to the sanctity of democracy' by some members of the press, citizens in the northern most territories remain confident that it will provide ample time for change to sweep across the political landscape.

In Africa, and Borneo, Adruvish Forces have once again gone on the offensive. the 10,000 Colonial Troops in Borneo, have began a relentless push through the Jungles of Borneo, wiping out any resistance to them and their Colonial Masters, Adruvain. However in the process, the hostile Jungle was swarming with Mosquitoes, has killed over 1,000 Colonial Troops do to Malaria, however Adruvish Officers were hardly effected, with them having been given Malaria Shots back in Adruvain. In the end, the Adruvish Forces had forced the people of the island to submit to Adruvish Rule, and raised the Adruvish Royal Jack over the whole Island now. In Africa, 5,000 Troops in the North Western portion of Mozambique, have pushed further inland, and have pushed along the Southern edge of Lake Malawi,encountering little Resistance during this Campaign in Africa, and have in the process, expanded Adruvish presence in Southern Africa without a single Adruvish Soldier perishing.

Surrender of the Eclipse Union

Two days ago, the Leaders of the Eclipse Union, have announced on the Isle of Man, that they shall accept the Adruvish proposition of the EU surrendering peacefully and being exiled to St.Helena, and have informed the Adruvish Government of the locations of the seven bombs in Waydon, which have now been defused, and have been dealt with. The leaders of the EU, and all other 5,600 have been put on Transports, and transported to the Isle of Man. King Augustus, the Royal Family, and Prime Minister Carlston have returned to Waydon with it being safe, and Parliament has raised the Martial Law. The 50,000 Adruvish Troops, and Republican Guardsmen from Ithra that were on the Isle of Man, have been sent to Waydon, for an Official Victory Parade, which the Ithran Prime Minister Bandini had been invited too. After announcing defeat at The Isle of Man and being exiled at St. Helena the EU started installing its own government by dividing the island up into two parts. Being a controlled anarchy it made obvious since what each side should be. The North would be the side with no laws while the South would be a "save zone" for those who weren't as willing to have an adventure.

With peace restored in Grand Adruvain proper, the Adruvish Empire has once again returned to its usual habits, expansion abroad. In Africa, 5,000 Colonial Troops in Mozambique have crossed over into Anarchistic Zimbabwe, facing some minor resistance here and there, and for a time, camped on the outskirts of Harare, and soon from reinforcements from Northern Mozambique, some 15,000 more men, have arrived and joined the army. They marched into Harare, nearly unopposed do to the city being divided between Warlords, who all didn't stand the might of the trained and well armed Adruvish Army, and raised the Adruvish Flag over the city, within four hours. Afterwards, 7,000 Adruvish soldiers were sent to the rest of the country, to secure the territory, for the Adruvish Crown.

After a few more days several more people on St. Helena have gone missing. It seems only soliders have though which has lead people to wonder if a mew group is forming. Which would explain several important people not coming to the island. The only evidence of this is a rumor spreading that a new group is forming calling themselves S,SEW EU. The leaders of the island assure that this is just a faction forming in the Badlands area and nothing more. Despite repeated assurances very few people believe this.

As elections across the Commonwealth come to an end following a turbulent campaign season which lasted only two weeks, and results finish coming in, a shocking overturn of early pundit predictions has come to light. Almost immediately after the election was scheduled and announced by President Qadir Doumaz of Algeria, political scientists and almost every media outlet across the Commonwealth placed the Egyptian-based 'Al-Nour Party', a Salafist political entity, as the favourite to win most of the seats given its location in the Commonwealth's largest member state. However following surprisingly energized and effective campaigns by the Greek 'SYRIZA' and the Algerian 'National Liberation Front' (NLF), both of whom are Far Left political parties, throughout the North African territories, the Al-Nour lead began to steadily shrink until it was only predicted to win roughly 20% of the total vote count.

While that itself is a staggeringly high amount of seats for a party that in previous decades had only managed to capture upwards of 11% of the total vote in Egypt, the lack of a formal ground game or well funded central organization severely hindered the party in the less densely populated states such as Libya and Algeria. Meanwhile both SYRIZA and the NLF proved to be incredibly effective at persuading voters to not only jump ship from Al-Nour, but also organizing them to get out and vote in more rural areas of the Commonwealth. Thanks to this, and a strong showing of support for the Greek political party by local left-wing organization, the two organizations managed to capture huge amounts of voters across the Mediterranean.

While not actively participating with them, the Free Egyptian Party (FEP) managed to ride off of the shrinking support for Al-Nour around Egypt's capital of Cairo, allowing them to jump up nearly ten points in prediction polling.

Despite this outstanding showing by left-leaning organizations, no single party managed to capture enough of the vote to ensure a total majority in parliament, meaning that a coalition will be formed by the leading party in this election, SYRIZA, most likely with either the FEP, NLF or even both of the North African political parties. Regardless of who forms this coalition, it is certain that the government will be controlled almost entirely by liberal politicians.

Today, Prime Minister Carlston in an Address to Parliament that with permission by his Majesty, King Augustus, has purchased the island and Archipelago, of Bermuda, and the Bahamas from Eldenia, for the hefty price of 120 Billion Corona, and a signing of a Non-Aggression Pact, between Grand Adruvain, Dominions, Protectorates, and Colonies and Eldenia. While the leading parties continue to deliberate over the agreements that will form the basis for their coalition, one thing has become incredibly clear to the citizens of the commonwealth; more taxes. While this is touted by right-leaning politicians and citizens as an infringement on their freedoms and a death blow to an already stagnant economy, many on the left view this as a necessary evil to form the basis for a revived and re-purposed economy. While the exact figure are not yet publicly disclosed, it is expected that anywhere from an eight to ten percent jump in income and payroll taxes, followed by a three percent increase in corporate taxes, will occur.

Regardless of how much is taken, the leading SYRIZA Party promises that a majority of this funding will be diverted towards domestic construction projects as well as business subsidies to try and entice business across the commonwealth to take riskier business ventures and hopefully be willing to put more citizens back to work.

General Aldrin Bejko, Chairman of the Yugoslavian Self Defense Forces, announced today that thousands of troops from the military would be partaking in 'Jump Qualifications' within Egypt under the oversight of Greek instructors and troops. While this action is rather unprecedented given the lack of any serious military movement around or inside of the small Yugoslav nation for years, General Bejko was quick to state that the training was, "..only to ensure that [Yugoslav] troops are as well prepared as they can be to engage possible hostile elements in any manner, or situation possible."

Also partaking in this training operation are elements of the former Turkish Armed Forces, now serving under the banner of Greece, which were also training alongside Yugoslav troops in Egypt in order to earn their jump qualifications. No specific numbers are available for the total amount of troops participating in this mass movement of military forces, but some estimates place the number as high as twelve thousand.

General Saadiq Kamali, Chief of General Staff of the Hellenic Commonwealth Armed Forces, has announced in a press conference that the Commonwealth would be transferring upwards of two-hundred thousand troops into the Greece-Yugoslav region to establish permanent military bases in the region, and to partake in multinational military drills being conducted in the area over the next two months in order to acclimate the Armed Forces to what he called, "..an alien, and otherwise unknown setting that [the Armed Forces] have never had the privilege of fighting in."

When asked if this was in response to rising tensions between Cassinopa and Commonwealth members the General ensured the public that the matter was being handled by 'proper authorities within the Minister of Foreign Affairs', and that it was not involving military assets in any way. Despite this many members of the press continue to speculate that these most recent deployments are either a precaution against possible border conflicts in the future, or an anticipation of a conflict 'already in motion'. Either way, these unprecedented movements are sure to grab the attention of Cassinopan authorities.

Zeelände, and Nordsylvania Join the Union!

The Republic of Zeelände and Nordsylvania has held a referendum yesterday to determine the future of the Republic. The people were given two options: Join the Reich or Stay Independent. At the conclusion of the referendum, 42% of people voted to stay independent, yet 58% of people voted to join the Union. As a result, the Republic has opted to join the Union, a move welcomed by the National Government in Wiesbaden am Breigsau. As of today, the Third Division has marched into the Capital City of the Republic, Dosserhagen, and peacefully occupied the city and disbanded the Republican Army.

Under Amerikansich Rule, the Republic will become a State in the Union, given it's population of 28.5 million makes it qualified to enter the union. However, Wiesbaden am Breigsau has announced plans to partition the territory, incorporating Nordsylvania into the State of Transylvania. This shall be put to a popular vote on Thursday, and should it be approved, then the move shall proceed. Until then, the former Republic shall remain with its borders unchanged. The newest state in the Union also has a significant automobile manufacturing and agricultural sector, which will boost the Amerikanish economy as its admitted to the Union.

Today, at 9:32AM, it was announced that Mes, the leader of the Mesian Commonwealth, is to help with the construction of the Kiel Kanal, sending money and other aid to Parzal.

Viklan Von Lichinstein has said that this is the beginning of long and prosperous friendship between The Sonacist Meritocratic of Mes and The Imperial Provinces of Parzal.
Parzalian citizens have reacted rather positively to the aid sent to Parzal, although many have felt that Parzal shouldn't ask for help from foreign nations, stating that this could make them appear "weak" and that Parzal should use it's own manpower and resources complete the project

Minister of Defense Confirms Project Perses

Minister of Defense Damyan Novitsky released a press statement today regarding the rumored Project Perses.

"I can confirm that Project Perses is no longer in development, and production has begun. The top secret technology used is to act as the most powerful and effective conventional weapon in existence. In the next few weeks we will be working persistently on our tactical strike and missile defense systems."

Military Forces Moved to Taiwan

Chancellor Orlov has confirmed that multiple military forces are en-route to Taiwan. Their purpose and mission is unclear at this time, but they are expected to arrive to their destination withing a few days.

The forces consist of: 4 Tu-160s, 8 MQ-9 Reapers, 4 Lada-Class Submarines, and 2 Typhoon-Class Submarines.

With tensions rising in the Orient, especially in the vicinity of Adruvish Colonies, the Adruvish East India Company has began building up Company Forces in the Colonies, reportedly hiring 50,000 Colonial Troops in Brunei, and some 100,000 in Java, totaling to some 665,000 Colonial Soldiers in the Orient. Plus, the Trade Company has commissioned 3 Victor Class Frigates, 2 Vendetta Class Destroyers, and 1 Lycan Class Battle Cruiser in Jakarta, Semarang and Penang. Company Chairmen, Clive Bennington, has commented on this topic.
