Rudolf was about to pull the trigger when he saw the Iodinae officer coming towards him he suddenly broke down, dropped the gun, and started crying. Everyone was dead. His men. The civilians. Everyone. He stumbled towards the other officer. "Everyone's... Gone!" he yelped, his hands covering his face. Only about a dozen people were alive. Burning wreckage and charred bodies littered the roads, while blood ran into the gullies and more corpses choked the streets. The captain Rudolf had saved walked up behind him and patted him on the back.
Rudolf finally recovered. "I'm.. Sorry. Are.. They gone?"

The IDF officer looked Rudolf in the eye, before saying "They're gone. And trust me, there aren't any more Ethiopians coming here. We'd know if there were. Anyways gather all your weapons, leave them here at the mayor's hall then grab everybody and get hiking. Don't go to New Hamburg though, things are about to get very serious there..." Meanwhile, the other IDF soldier loaded into their jeep before the commander got in and the jeep began taking off.

The soldiers of the Afrika Corps were pinned down by fighter jets and and the gunfire of Capileans, took cover under anything they could find. The tanks started to use their anti-aircraft ability and started to mow down the jets. Major Bertolli desperately attempted to call air re-enforcements. Fifteen minutes of heavy fire later. The sound of F-22s at full speed filled the air. Suddenly three missiles flew across the sky and with perfect accuracy struck three Capilean jets and filled the sky with fire. Major Bertolli yelled.

"We are the good descendants of Holy Rome! We like our ancestors will gloriously defeat our enemies on the battlefield! We are a force not to be reckoned with! Now go on to destroy that city and viciously slaughter your foes!

Tank shells started to shell the enemy infantry and continue to move forward, as soldiers sprinted at the enemy; Firing their guns in-all. Bertolli watched as his soldiers broke through the Capliean lines and watched as the tyrants fell to the ground. He watched as a small number of Kommando Spezialkräfte in full fledged riot gear, yielding flame throwers burned the Caplieans, he smelled the burning flesh in the air. He noticed the bravery and toughness of the Capileans. He knew that by watching they would for sure come out ahead of the Waldriechians in kills. In the air, it was a stalemate. Both sides watched as Waldriechian and Calilean jets flamed up than crashed into the city, and destroyed countless buildings, and overall the lives of soldiers. The farther Bertolli's troops pushed into the town, the greater number of Waldriechians lost. He saw the Capileans be crushed, but they were courageous and, and refused to give up. At the end of the day, it seemed like mot of the Capileans were captured, killed, or missing; The losses were much greater for the Waldriechians, but fresh troops were on the way.

The Capilean troops fought bravely. Now tanks and armored forces were rolling up from the city, firing shells and creating huge gaps in the enemy line. Fresh troops from the outskirts of the city ran into the fray carrying heavy machine guns and flamethrowers, which they set up and mowed down rows of enemy troops. The enemy were pushing hard, but the Capileans refused to give. The Capilean troops were outnumbered, but their strength was such that all of their number couldn't be fit along the main line. Thus, even as the enemy broke through parts of the line, they found fresh troops awaiting them, this time with armored support.

Those unfortunate Capileans that were surrounded refused to be captured. Without regard for their own lives they continued fighting. Even disarmed they pulled out knives or even used their martial arts training to fight the enemy. Wounded soldiers who were captured were ordered to use their emergency suicide pills rather than become prisoners. Only when knocked unconscious could they be taken captive. The fighting raged on. Despite losses, the Capileans knew the enemy were suffering horribly for their gains. The enemy simply couldn't push through the line, which was now strengthened by armored and heavy forces. A trickle of reinforcements seeped in from patrols and forces in nearby villages which had been recalled. If the Waldreichians wanted to push through, they would pay thousands more lives for it.

The streets of the city was filled with blood. The Waldriechians would not give up. They resorted to following the armor any further as the Greeks and Romans Phalanx's did with their shields. They fired numerous rounds at the Capilean lines but still, they stood like a wall of steel, they were cornered and out numbered. Suddenly a line of Well equip, enthusiastic; African Christians broke from the main line, and charged the steel rooted lines of the Capileans at full speed. This was a shimmer of hope. The next to come out was the Kommando Spezialkräfte units, suddenly the whole line broke. As the tanks continued to bast the Capileans, the infantry charged the enemy with all their force and power. They used their guns, when they ran out of ammo; They used their blades, when their blades got dull; They used their fists. And the would continue this until the last man. The battle soon became a large fistfight.

Stealth drones had been watching over Ethopia since the midst of the conflict, nobody actually knowing until a leaked news report came out over Soyuzkayan internet news sites.

Capital Building, Paradisa, Soyuzkaya

The president, Boris Mayakov, and the Minister of Defense met in the war room.

Boris: The battle in Rechina, what do you have?
Minister of Defense: The Waldriechians are putting up a good attack, and the Capileans have pushed in their reinforcements.
Boris: Perfect. Now's the time we strike.
Minister of Defense: But, si--
Boris: Don't question me. I want around fourty to fifty An-26s dropping infantry and BTR-90s about two miles east of Rechina. I also want sixty MiG-29s escorting the An-26s due to the consistent air battling going on. The infantry and BTRs move into the city and spread out, taking the city from the Capileans. Is that understood?
Minister of Defense: Yes sir.

The orders were quickly taken from the Minister of Defense to the General of the Army and the General of the Airforce. The orders were then carried on through the chain of command. The An-26s were put up on runways of airbases, ready to take off along with the MiG-29s. BTR-90s and transport trucks moved into the airbases, loading the ground forces into the An-26s. One by one, the planes were cleared for takeoff, and the large force of planes flew towards Rechina.

Northern Ethiopia
NMK troops had massed right on the border of Northern Ethiopia, along with about 30,000 regular Capilean troops from the 1st Foreign Legion. On the southern border of Northern Ethiopia was massed 145,000 Stoßschutz troops. The NMK General received the go signal. Operation: Defuse had begun.

As soon as the NMK General Bob recieved this signal, he gave a quick motivational speech to all of the troops that had landed and massed there. He then finally wished them look in the pincer movement and sent them to follow the lead / directions of the Capilean forces for the time being. He would monitor the situation and make any orders as and when theynwere needed. He did however tell them not to be too trigger-happy.

Meanwhile, at the diplomatic conference Ambassador John was just now entering the room and he looked around. He said 'Hello' to everyone present and sat down.

At the battle of New Cologne, the paratroopers had charged into the Topkekkians, forcing them to focus their fire to the East. Although, many of them fell as they made the attack, they were able to carve into the enemy drop zone, slaughtering the Topkekkians, not as individuals, but as a horde. Many soldiers charged in and violently beat Topkekkians with security batons.

To the West, the Majorgeneral commanding the troops at the makeshift fortress, had realized that the Major who was commanding the para-troopers, was sacrificing himself and his troops, so that the attention may be diverted to the East. Suddenly, 3,000 Spektronians, and Capileans charged out, at the horde, with riot shields, security batons and shotguns. The charging group threw grenades at the Topkekkian front lines, causing body parts to fly, along with bodies. The riot shields then made way for the shot-gunners as they cut down Topkekkians. The Topkekkians, were once again forced to focus fire to the West, as the Eastern attackers, were falling, but not without great Topkekkian losses. After the Shotgunners to the West had come out, then followed soldiers with security batons, who mercilessly beat Topkekkian after Topkekkian. It was obvious that the Spektronians favored police and riot control strategies.

In the makeshift fortress to the West, loudspeakers had been set up, and the Majorgeneral, who commanded the Spektronian and Capilean forces, came over the speakers. "Topkekkians! Lie down your weapons! Your air support is gone! You are being overrun! The terrorist attack to the West in New Cologne has failed! Mekdem is dead! You have no hope of winning! Surrender now and your lives will be spared! Your wounded will be treated! You will eat well! You cannot fight on both sides! Do as I say and do not be selfish in risking lives for a hopeless victory!"

With some of the airbases the Soyuzkayans launched from being in neighboring African countries, half of the intended force had been dropped two miles east of Rechina. It consisted of 8,000 infantrymen, 50 BTR-90s, and 50 special forces infantrymen. They instantly began moving to the city until they had made it in the city. They were quickly met with a hoard of unarmed fighters from the Capileans. The Soyuzkayans saw them an easy target and began mowing them down with BTR and small arms fire. The remains of the crowd soon pulled back into cover where ever they could.

It would soon be over and Rechina would be conquered for the Republic of East Africa. To ensure a quick victory more F-22s were sent to bomb the remaining garrison in Rechina, A C-17 would also drop more guns, shells, and ammunition. Outside the city at Bertrtolli's headquarters. The radio office picked up a rouge signal. They attempted to decode it. They quickly sent to Bertolli, "It is foreign, and enemy indeed." Said the radio officer. "We believe who ever this is going for the air around Rechina. We need to ask for more F-22 patrols and our remaining tanks to have their AAs up to the air. That was enforced indeed, and 70 F-22s in patrol.

Thousands upon thousands of V-Tols, were coming in and out of the New Cologne, dropping off, in total, 82,000 soldiers. There were also countless types of vehicles and aircraft being brought in. After General Marko had awoken, he was rallying the troops. He ordered that 50 Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptors be dispersed to provide air support for the Capileans in Rechina.

A short while later, surely enough, came the roar of the fighters over Rechina, from the East. There were 10 squadrons of fighters, each containing 5 aircraft. The fighters, rather high up, began to descend, to come into bombing range. Once in range, the squadrons went one by one, firing their nose cannons, killing many enemies, and each getting off about 4 missiles into the enemy crowd, killing even more. Once, off into the distance, they turned around for another bombing run.

OOC: Wait, they mowed down my aircraft? If so that would not be very likely, although some of my F-22's could have been shot down, there were many who were already off into the distance. And plus how the hell are there 320,000 Soldier in Renchina alone? You realize there are only about 800,000 people in the US army right? so 320,000 is a pretty absurd number.

Victory was near. The flag of the Republic of East Africa and the Waldriechian flag was raised above conquered parts of the city. The Capilenan and Soyuzkaayan Ground forces were almost totally destroyed, and the Waldriechians outnumbered and initially dominated in the air. The new capital of the Republic of East Africa.
