The New Year came and passed with some noise, mostly celebrations and fireworks in Oslo and Stockholm, but also with guns and bullets in Europe. Prime Minister Hansson had pushed a partial mobilization through Parliament, calling up 20,000 members of the reserves to active duty, and authorizing emergency purchases by the government. Plans have been drafted for rationing plans and evacuation routes in the case of war, while forces have been pulled from remote countryside garrisons to fortifications on the border. Kirkenes was now a hub of military activity, hosting two of the new destroyers, which had been dubbed the Emergency Wartime program. Two of the destroyers had been commissioned, in addition to one of the Gotland-class destroyers now in service, while one was undergoing trials in the North Sea.

A single Oslo-class had been completed, the other one being fitted with it's powerplant and turbines at the moment. Emergency programs passed in Parliament allowed the confiscation of civilian shipping if required for military purposes, along with free use of large dockyards capable of launching military vessels. The Spitfires purchased from the UK had arrived a month ago, outfitting 1., 4., and 12. Squadrons, while the tank design which had advanced to the prototype stage was being rushed into production. Currently only two had been completed, both prototype designs that had performed well in tests. A statement released from the government had affirmed the international right to trade and stated that the sinking of any Sweden-Norway trade vessels would be viewed as an act of war on the Kingdom.

Churhcill, while still in Japan, recieved great news, his RAF project has finished. He began to quickly wrap up the meeting so that he could return home. He ordered his secretary to send a message to the world.

The UK is going to have an open military parade in Dover. All representatives are allowed to come, but only a maximum of 4 personal guards each and their planes or boats can not be armed as we are a neutral state. You will not want to miss this revolutionary event.

The operations in Hispaniola have gone well, all their heavy fortifications have been destroyed and supply drops have been sent to rebellion groups. The warships are also outside of the nation and they shall fire should no response be given. Back in England the factories begin mass producing 4 tanks. The Matilda, Vickers VII, Valentine III and TOG2. Subs have also set up pickets around the British isles to make sure no enemies attack as conflict is definitely brewing. The UK wishes for all nations to let Turkey solve itself so as to avoid war. Churchill also condemns America for starting a peacetime draft and sending troops abroad. India is beginning to be a strong region as the large population allows for many factories which in return create a great economy, for more factories and the cycle keeps the area strong and appreciative of British rule.

New Year Offensive(Tet-ish)

On midnight December 30, 1939. The batteries of the 4th Artillery Battalion began firing at Japanese lines near Appari. Followed by Ca-40 bombing runs. the men of the 22nd Infantry Regiment have commenced their 4 day drive towards Appari, regaining much of the land lost during the Invasion. The elements of the 2nd Tank Division have swung eastwards to secure the eastern parts of Cagayan.
2 days ago, Men of the elite 403rd Parachute fell behind enemy lines in Ilocos Norte. They secured 3 bridgeheads with very light casualties, allowing men of the 1st and 14th Mechanized Divisions to secure the western flank and close the pocket of Apparri. knowledge of the region have allowed them to maneuver and cover ground quickly. with very sufficient experience, morale, and support from the Airforce they have completed the first phase of the offensive.

Meanwhile back home, the recruits of the elite Philippine Special Action Force (SAF) have graduated in Camp Aguinaldo, Baguio. they have been trained to fulfill special duties such as reconnaissance, infiltration, espionage, and support roles. They have been created to serve as a very formidable and flexible force that can respond very quickly with very satisfying results. These men have endured the hardships at Camp Aguinaldo for 4 months to earn the title of Kawal ng Pangkalahatan or Universal Soldier. from 1000 recruits, only 300 survive the test. However, training in the PH army was shortened to 2 weeks. The Air force still kept training fighter pilots for 3 weeks and bomber pilots for 4 weeks. People of Dutch decency were rounded up and sent to prison camps along with almost 300 Japanese perpetrators.


after 5 months of development, the blueprints of BRP Manuel L. Quezon, considered to be the first modern warship (Battleship) of the PH Navy has been sent to the shipyards of Italian Sulawesi, expected to be completed in 7 months. although some say that it will take a year or so. Along with it were two new Higante Class Aircraft carriers and 7 new Jacinto Class destroyers. Project X-B1 has entered its testing stage, prototypes and designs are being built for this new weapon. New army weapons such as the Bato-Bato or the FB-Anti Tank Rifle, the Type 13 12mm Machine Gun and the FG-09 /12 76.2mm AT gun. The High Command has now acquired the christie suspension system. Various vehicle prototypes have been created to test the new suspension. They are also conducting experiments of mounting a 75/76mm gun on a PT-40 SPG/Tank Destroyer or even on a TA-38.

The Army has received 50 Fiat Mk. II's. 20 of them have been deployed in Sulawesi and are expected to arrive there next month. the construction of the new coastal batteries in Northern Sulawesi have begun. along with the construction of newer outposts and underground tunnels and possibly a harbor, a airbase, and a wall to further solidify the defense capabilities of the island. These projects in Sulawesi are expected to be finished in 1-2 months. Generalissimo Luna has announced that the Senate is preparing to submit the Sulawesi Basic Law (SBL). Many have been pleased to hear that Sulawesi was going to be a free nation under Philippine protection.

Mussolini waved to the crowds gathered in front of the courtyard on which his podium sat. Behind them towered the Italian Parliament Building. Bunting in red, green and white adorned the massive building and just about every other structure in the vicinity, and massive Italian flags fluttered proudly in the breeze, lining the courtyard and hanging from the building. The thousands of people jamming the square and the adjoining roads waved small flags too, and cheered as Mussolini smiled at them. Today was New Years Eve, and a massive celebration was to be held. Finally, it was fifteen minutes to midnight and the Duce stepped up to the edge of the podium, gesturing for silence.

"Italians! It is a new year, and a proud year for us! New Rome is upon us! Every Italian has worked hard to ensure the future of our glorious Empire, and I am proud of my country for that! God smiles on us, for he knows that we are faithful and, with the Pact of Iron, a bastion of faith and purity against the infidels who seek to crush us! Look at our accomplishments! In a mere month we have toppled Greece, and swept the Turks from Europe in weeks! Our Empire is everlasting! It will stretch across all corners of the Mediterranean! But in order for this promise to come about, every one of us must do their part! Every Italian must serve the war effort, and destroy those that seek to destroy us! Benito finished his speech just two minutes before midnight, and cheers drowned out everything else. Flags waved wildly as Mussolini and the crowd returned each other's roman salutes, screaming "Mare Nostrum!" patriotically. Just as the wave of cheers died out, the countdown began, the crowd counting as one with their leader. "Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four! Three! Two! ONE! NEW YEAR!" they shouted, just as a Cathedral's bells rang out the changing of the hour. Fireworks, red white and green, streaked upwards and exploded beautifully across the night sky; the crowd oohed and ahhed.

By now the Italians had cut across the entire Turkish Straight and occupied it, separating Anatolia from what remained of Turkish Bulgaria. Fresh Italian troops were moving in to occupy it. The residents were told that the occupation was temporary to restore order, and to save them from the horrors of Soviet occupation, which were painted daily by new Italian radio broadcasts which were being operated all across the Balkans to attempt to Italianize the population. Dissenters were quietly rounded up and executed.

Philippines

The Japanese offensive has been reduced to a defensive one trying to hold on to Appari. Dog fights take place most days above the lines all of which so far have been won by Japanese forces. New recruits have arrived at the front doubling the Japanese manpower (these new troops are NEW they will not preform as well as the veterans already there). Along with troops AA guns have arrived give Japan the definite air superiority. The majority of tanks have been taken away as they have been mainly seen as ineffective. The Japanese forces are slowly moving forward.

The summit held with the English has been finished the result is the JENA (Japanese English Neutrality Agreement)

Gran Líder Juan Barrista held a speech regarding the current situation with heretic rebellions and British attacks.

We must Catholicize them to end their heresy. Many British citizens living in Hispaniola was taken from their homes by Catholic mobs who beat them senselessly. The NBI and the Hispaniolan military took part in the killings. Many Voodoo black markets were looted and many camps were built to house all heretics. These camps were known as inquisition camps. The British flags were burned and British people were beaten by Catholic extremists. The Gran Líder didn't want to see this, but it was neccessary for him and his country to counter the British threat.

Beata Island, Hispaniola
Beata Island was cleansed of communists and Voodoo followers. Beata City was built after two months and the island became a separate province with the city as its provincial capital. Many captured rebels were executed.

The military parade coordinators have said that it shall begin soon and that the main showcase of it has had a test run and it went successful, breaking world records, that would be given at the parade. One King George V battleship sitting at the Dover docks has been decorated to celebrate the upcoming event. This event was going to be to show that while England is neutral, it has the force capable to defend itself if need be. Many British manufactures will be there to sell most of the vehicle's, armament and equipment being showcased. The people of Dover have been decorating the city to celebrate the incoming foreigners. This event will be great publicity and economically beneficial for the locals. Supermarine Spitfires, with the fuselage painted as the Union Jack, have been seen practicing formations and stunts for the parade and vehicles have been amassed nearby to drive through the parade. Churchill was on his way there as he had just left Japan and after a short rally in Dubai he boarded his bright yellow luxury style De Havilland Albatross. As for the events in Hispaniola the British were outraged. Parliament agreed to a full attack on the nation and war had been declared. Warships in the gulf had opened fire at the capital destroying much of the area. B-18 bomber runs have been moved to destroy enemy warships while Saunders-Roe Lerwick flying boats are being used to destroy merchant ships and submarines should they be found. London has told the world to cut trade with the nation as all boats in the area shall be destroyed and/or boarded. Two types of heavy bombers are being used to destroy military installations and forces on the island. Avro Manchesters were used at day and re-armed and fueled back at night, while the Armstrong Whitley would do the reverse. Marines were prepared in the caribbean to be brought to Hispaniola by destroyers.

Naval ships, soldiers, submarines and tanks were alerted and mobilized around Hispaniola after British forces neared. The Hispaniolan bombers and fighters, mostly the Domingo V2 bombers and the Seafire Thunderbirds, went to fight the British away from Hispaniola. The bombers attacked the British ships, while the fighters attacked British ships, fighters and bombers. The battles between the Hispaniolan fighters and the British fighters were big and caused several casualties.

Jamaica, UK
A group of boats from Hispaniola drifted towards the British colony of Jamaica. Many heretics, ranging from black Haitians and communists to spiritualists and Protestants, aboard the ships wanted to escape persecution in the island nation. However, the boats were also detected and attacked by the Hispaniolan Air Force, which led to death of several fleeing people on the boats. Many of the boats landed on the coast of eastern Jamaica, waiting to be met with the British officials.

Sun Yat-Sen has died leading to a division in the Chinese people. A civil war has started between the weaker Communist faction in the North lead by Mao Zedong and Chiang Kai-shek's much more powerful Nationalist faction. Japan has declared the Nationalist faction the true successor to the government and has started to supplythem. The Japanese have promised that the tank divisions being withdrawn from the Philippines.

Italian Balkans
Two months after Turkey and their holdings had been invaded, most of the Dardanelles(with the notable exception of Istanbul and the surrounding area) and Turkish Bulgaria had been captured. Total casualties were 2,396 Italians and Albanians and 7,835 Turks. Bulgaria and the portion of the Turkish strait Italy occupied were annexed into the new area known as the Italian Balkans Administrative Zone(IBAZ), which included all of the Italian holdings on the peninsula and the Dodecanese Islands. A military governor, Francisco D'Aidone, had been appointed, and he had a lot of things on his plate.

Francisco sat in a leather chair behind his finely carved mahogany desk in Athens. The new IBAZ was full of problems. Italian police were still viciously putting down riots in North-Eastern Greece and Bulgaria, and the rest of his zone was uneasy, save for the Dodecanese. He sighed and rubbed his dirty blond hair. His first matter of business was to contact the Soviet Union. Which would be interesting, to say the least. Since his own Italia and the Russians had not openly conflicted each other, he hoped they would be more responsive then to an offer from, say Germany. But he was worried the Soviets would disregard his offer without a though. Nevertheless, he essayed a letter to the Soviet Government:

After finishing and sending the telegram, he ordered for the construction of a large naval fort on the island of Rhodes, as well as an airfield and naval base there. He then addressed military matters; by now over 700,000 troops, most of them new recruits(although a sizable fraction of his command had been ferried over from North Africa) and a large number of armored and aircraft forces had been mustered in the Balkans. In addition, a separate army had been raised from Albania and parts of Greece, numbering about 28,000. These troops had shorter training than the Italians and their morale was shaky, so D'Aidone used them as garrison and reserve troops. He set about making new defensive lines, and worked on these late into the night. His final orders before he retired to his house were to expand the railroad network to include not only Greece but Bulgaria. Movement was essential.

In other, global news, the Italian government has cut off trade to Hispaniola, and has condemned the nation for its genocide against its own people. A naval squadron and air complement(including two battleships, four heavy cruisers, and half a dozen submarines plus 120 fighters and 60 dive bombers) had been stationed at Rhodes, while another one almost identical has begun patrolling the Strait of Gibraltar. The Italian forces in East Africa have become skeletal, with only a few thousand troops. In Northern Africa the garrison is slightly larger. Italian radio and new television propaganda programs are being blasted out across all of the Italian Empire, seeking to strengthen civilian morale and Italianize the people of Africa and the Balkans.

Both military officers spoke to each others about the strained relations between Hispaniola and Italy. Many Italians in the country are put into internment camps if they do not follow the rules of the NCP or support the Hispaniolan military. More Hispaniolan bombers are sent to attack the Italian Navy.

Theodor Klinger realized how dire his situation was. The soviet union would surely declare war, and even if the forces of Germany were mighty, the allies of the Warsaw Pact could overwhelm them easily. He took a deep breath, straightened his jacket, and stepped out. He saw the people congregated there, proud Germans, who admired him, undeservingly. He loved his country, but he still hadn't managed to preserve peace. "People of Germany!" he spoke with a slight tremor at first, but slowly his voice gained more energy "The forces of the warsaw pact are attempting to wipe our glorious nation off the globe, transforming it into a mere province of their wicked empire, but we have never surrendered under pressure, and we won't do so now. Even if our forces were outnumbered ten to one, each German would kill twenty men, we are mighty, and we shall not fall!" a round of cheers and applause followed, and many people who were listening to the radio in their homes joined in, in the ecstasy of the moment "However, to do this, we need the collaboration of every German. I ask you to join our armed forces, and fight for the honour of our fatherland. We will drive those bastards out of our country, whatever the cost, and we will chase them back to Moscow!" the people roared, and the song of the germans spontaneously erupted from the crowd, slightly off tune. Theodor Klinger immediately joined in. He wondered what was to happen.

Meanwhile, in the trenches, news of the Italian reinforcements was recieved happily. The Italian armed forces were a great asset, and the generals of the german army gladly exchanged approaches to the situation with their Italian fellows. Many artillery positions had been set, and supply trucks were continuously providing rations and munitions to the troops. The trenches had been further reinforced, large fortifications built throughout it. The war effort had also led to more advanced weaponry, although this was not yet fully distributed. There were also rumors of a new weapon being developed in Berlin, something which had long been proposed and that countless research had gone into, but it was only on the very first phase.

Suddenly, a stone flew right through the window, hitting Juan's Mona Lisa painting. He was frightened. He looked through the broken window and saw a gigantic mob of angry Dominicans, Italians and white Haitians trying to break through the Hispaniolan troops that guards Juan's palace. Many shouted out words like "False saint!", "Death to the Gran Líder!", "Stop the murdering!" and "Resign, monster!" General Jean-Jacques Bonaparte quickly ran outside to order the troops to end the riot through the most brutal way ever, shooting. The Hispaniolan troops fired their semi-automatic Mondragón rifles at the people, killing 200 and wounding more than 400. It was known as the "Barrista Palace Massacre". It caused total outrage in Hispaniola and showed the true agenda of Juan Barrista's regime.

Caicos and Turks
The Hispaniolan Navy, Hispaniolan fighter planes and Hispaniolan bomber planes attacked the British islands of Caicos and Turks with heavy force to resist the British threat. They killed many Brits and destroyed some bases. Many British ships were crippled and about to sink after recieving several bombing damages by the bombers and bullet holes from the fighter planes. The islands are to become Hispaniolan as the UK's punishment for attacking Hispaniola in the first place.

CHINA
Chiang Kai-shek has been driven from power in Nationalist China because of a string of defeats inflicted by Communist forces. This has lead to a fracturing of Nationalist Forces with no clear leader. Japan now claims that China is in a state of anarchy and has no government so the Treaty of Xi'an is void. Japanese forces have landed in Qinhuangdao with no opposition they are currently going towards the main Nationalist force in Peking formerly led by Chiang Kai-shek. Ahead of there arrival the Air Force is dropping messages in Chinese that call out the Chinese Nationalist and Communist governments for their ineffectiveness and telling soldiers to not fight for them. They are also told not to rest Japanese Forces or the will meet defeat like to Peking. This has been a success in many places with large numbers leaving the Nationalist army. This has had no effect in Peking. A skeleton force has been left in Manchuria.

PHILIPPINES
Forces in the Philippines have been making steady progress having advanced a little past Lasam. Japan holds a firm grasp on air superiority in the North of the island but south of Tabuk it is a no fly zone. The first Mitsubishi G4Ms will arrive in the coming weeks. The Japanese army has been instructed to not pillage, steal, rape or destroy though it has not always been followed and many that do brake said rules are not punished. The most notable being the Rape of Flora. It is hoped by the end of the year Japan will hold the capital.

World Stage
The Italian Government has noticed the massacre and genocide against Italians living in Hispaniola, and it will not come without consequence. The Pope has publicly condemned Juan Barrista and his government, calling them genocidal maniacs masquerading under Catholicism. Italy declared war on Hispaniola shortly after the Pope's statement. The naval squadron previously patrolling the Strait of Gibraltar, consisting of a battleship, two heavy cruisers, six light cruisers, and ten submarines, along with 850 Italian Marines, have begun sailing to link up with British forces and attack the island.

Meanwhile, in the Pacific, Mussolini had been alarmed by the Japanese invasion of the Philippines and their rapid progress. He ordered the Italian Army of the Pacific, stationed in Sulawesi, was split. 36,000 of the 50,000 troop garrison, along with 6,000 native militia, stayed on the island. The other 24,000 troops, bolstered by 2,000 Bersaglieri troops, embarked on a voyage with the Pacific Naval Squadron(consisting of three heavy cruisers, five light cruisers, and seven submarines), plus the newly completed ships that the Philippian government had ordered, to Luzon. They aimed to land at the capital and link up with Filipino forces to defend against the Japanese invaders. This new army was officially separated from the Army of the Pacific, and renamed the Army of the Philippines. They are expected to arrive within the next few days and tip the scales in the Pact's favor.

Polish Corridor
Italian forces had arrived en masse on the border with the rightfully German Polish Corridor. Not only was this the lifeline of Poland, but they could quickly storm whatever shipyards that the Poles had and turn over the Polish Navy to Germany to strengthen the Kriegsmarine. By now the Italian forces in Germany had reached 640,000, with more arriving every day. They all concentrated around the Polish Corridor, ready to break through at the first sign of war. In addition, 260 fighter planes and 90 bomber planes of various type have landed in Germany airfields to support the troops if war should break out.

Mussolini, back in Rome, had foreseen that the Eastern Front would turn into a bloodbath, and that the future of Germany was not clear. But the mighty Germans were their allies, and they would stand together in victory or defeat. He made this statement to a crowd of thousands in Rome during one of his rallies:
"People of Italia. These are troubled times. I have heard mumblings among us that we have chosen badly among our friends! What are these lies! Our German brethren to the North are our dearest allies! The Italian and German peoples are superior than the infidel Russians, Turks, and Poles which will dash their 'mighty' armies against the impenetrable rock wall that is the Pact of Iron! Loyalty is a virtue, my friends, and we must pursue it! We will stand by the mighty Germans till the end, in victory or defeat, and we will mow down the armies of the East!

The chaos was at it's height in Hispaniola. They kept their plans hidden from the Gran Líder, because it was his fault that the Hispaniolan society is falling down the edge.

Shortly there after he Japanese transported all civilians out of the city. They would soon board a ship head towards Taiwan. The civilians have been told they will be compensated and paid reparations for lost property.

Supply lines have been fully set up leading to a boost in morale for the Japanese forces. Defenses are being made in Lasam and the surrounding areas. The Japanese Army and Air force has started intentional forest fires to try to burn out any potential guerrillas or hidden forces. The Japanese government has called for an immediate and complete surrender of the Philippines and the surrendering of occupied Dutch land. The Japanese have warned that if these demands are not met they will use the same gas they used against the Chinese on Iron forces. The new planes have arrived much faster then their predecessors they are much harder to hit though when they are hit they usually brake apart easily. They have come equip with supplies of Japanese Gas.

JAPAN

The public was shocked when they found out about the rape of Flora, and the threats that those brutes are telling the government. The draft has been completed. 560,000 conscripts were now active in service. The news of the Elite Italian soldiers and the new ships was a big morale booster.
The Japanese tried destroying the defenses yet desperately failed, thanks to the underground caves. A battalion of 200 soldiers was saved by the underground tunnels and caves, the only things that were dying was wildlife and such, which angered the people.

A SAF team of 30 men landed on Fuga island (Part of Babuyan). The execution was quick and stealthy. they were only armed with bolo's, grenades, silenced pistols, and one submachine gun. They managed to clear out each tower before finally entering the outpost. they armed time bombs planted on each garrison before leaving out into the darkness. 1 hour later, another group landed on Dalupiri Island. The execution wasn't easy, as it was heavily fortified, they were forced to split up and break in by force. Upon entering the outpost, they only managed to plant 3 bombs which quickly detonated after they left. Casualties were 1 dead, 3 wounded. They knew that the Japanese Camps in the neighboring islands will be warned. The element of surprise was lost, so they had to turn to the Marines. A Battallion of 200 marines landed in Calayan Island 2 hours later, they were met with heavy resistance, but managed to reach the outpost. They cleared out each garrison using flamethrowers, Grenades, and short bursts of smg fire. two prevent supplies from crossing from Taiwan, 2 submarines have been deployed to sink Japanese vessels that were to cross or go near the Babuyan Islands.

Shortly after the raids, another counter offensive took place, the men of the 14thMechanized Division swiftly drove into Ballesteros, only a few miles from Appari. Heavy casualties were inflicted upon them, 1,460 men dead and more than 900 wounded. Another pincher movement began in Lal-lo. mountain fighting was common in that sector. the armor of the 2nd Armour Division found it difficult to maneuver and the advance was delayed, giving the Japanese troops more time to set up defenses. On the southern sector, the Elite Italian troops managed to halt further enemy movement by putting up a very impenetrable defensive position in the southernmost end of the Chico river, the men have nicknamed it "Showa's tub" because of the massive casualties dealt when the Japanese forces tried to cross it. BRP Manuel L. Quezon has been secretly stationed the Spratly Islands along with One Higante Class carriers, 3 Jacinto Class Destroyers and 2 frigates for a massive operation.

MANILA
The first prototypes for the Multi-purpose fighter has been tested. It was a heavier, much larger version of the Ca-11 armed with two 12mm Type 2 Machinegun and a 300kg bomb, it was fairly heavy and did not suite the standards of the Air force. 2 more prototypes are being tested. project X-B1 has been completed and is said to be produced next year. It has been secretly developed under Government surpervision and funding. After realizing the dire situtation of Hispaniola, Generalissimo Luna has promised to send 500 paramilitary forces to provide aid for those who are being affected by the recent chaotic events. The High Command has been designing a Heavy Tank during the last few months along with new vehicles. they are currently under development. The number of Ca-11's and Ca-40's were increasing. From 300 Ca-40's to 760. From 200 Ca-11's to 800. The tanks were even better. the official count was 1,970 UTP-30's, 2,960 Lt. 90's. 2,300 PT-40 Tank Destroyers( 30 are armed with 76mm guns), 980 TA-38's, and 3 new TA-35/76 (With a 76mm gun).

The Philippines
Italian troops had now reached Luzon en masse, with 30,000 regular troops and 2,000 elite Bersaglieri troops present around Manila and fortifying the area. In addition, armored forces have been sent to Filipino armor corps to reinforce them and prepare for any blitz attack necessary. As well, just over 100 artillery pieces are being dug into positions all around the Italian portion of the defensive line. Bersaglieri troops armed with prototype Drago flamethrowers and Bertha Anti Tank rocket launchers, as well as the standard equipment.

The Italian naval squadron has reached a major Filipino naval base, and gave the finished warships the Filipino government had ordered many months earlier to their navy. Afterwards, the squadron left the base, and began patrolling the water around the Philippines for Japanese ships. Finally, a declaration of war was sent to Japan to inform them that the Pact would back up its members.

Mussolini was also upset at the state of affairs in China, where Japanese troops were occupying Chinese lands unmolested. He ordered to continue to send supplies and advanced weapons to both Communist and Nationalist forces fighting the Japanese. He then turned to the Balkans, where the Empire's new subjects were warming up to the Italian government quickly. Thousands of Greek, Albanian, Bulgarian, and even Turkish recruits poured into training centers, adding to the massive Italian forces gathering there.

San Domingo, Hispaniola
The chaos in Hispaniola, both religious, social, political and ethnic, was worse than ever. Civilians began taking arms and forming sides, one revolting against the Hispaniolan government and another side supporting the government. 20,000 people were killed in the violence that followed the massacre of Dominicans, white Haitians and Italians outside the Barrista Palace. In San Domingo, many parts of it were burned and vandalized, while bodies, bullets, bricks from destroyed buildings and blood spilled on the streets.

After thinking, Jean Bordreaux has decided to free the French colonies, by turning them into puppet states.
He states, quote, "...and they shall be with their own laws, as long as it's accepted by France." End quote.
They shall turn into to puppet nations, one called "United Franco-Federation of Africa," or UFFA, and the others, which are Madagascar, French Guiana, other nations like those which aren't African, shall become the "Union of Outer Franco-Africa," or UOFA.
They shall have their own laws, and will not be walked over, but will still generally be under French control, only to a certain extent.
To nation leaders reading this paper, do not underestimate the two puppets. They are under French might and the new 47 mm APX gun (OOC: based on the 47 mm APX anti-tank gun, except modified for other things besides being AT. Of course, the AT function is weakened) has come to life. The new Panhard 178 has also started it's career, but is still under development.
