Good morning,
I would be interested in joining this, supporting the communist rebels with arms and instructors. I would bring them in via Lake Mutungi or from one of the neighbouring countries, if that is alright with you. Are there any limits to how much I can send?

(And yes, I am well aware that you said the rebels would not win, but always fighting on the winning side is boring.)

Yeah, I'm in for slow and steady. I have exams until the 19th, but I can probably pull two posts out..

I'll most likely be deploying a small number of special forces via amphibious or airborne insertion with the help of HA drones for my own purposes...

Then, to help your cause probably a few multi-purpose frigates, a destroyer and a battalion of Mounted Skirmishers..

I would prefer medium pace not quick one liners Micheal Bay style but at the same time too not long one week at a time reaponses. I would very much like to be more active in the rp scene than ive been as of late

That would be fine. You can send as many weapons as your nation could reasonably have good reason and resources to send, but do keep in mind that my revolutionaries can only use so many weapons. The population of the province in question is just a few million, and a vast majority are not communists or could be convinced to directly fight (though many would be willing to assist.)

And I never said the rebels couldn't win. I just wanted to clear up that an all-red Nkobangou, with every city from Tumbakishi to Akasongo, wasn't possible. The south could still gain its independence and achieve its political goals, though it would be somewhat isolated afterwards.

Communism and democracy are supposed to co-exist. Nations like the USSR were essentially state-run capitalism. Communism is meant to be for the people, and you can't have that without elections.

Perhaps theoretically, but there was a reason why both Marx and Engels talked about 'dictatorship of the proletariat', which was what the USSR originally started out based on. The idea was that in order to preserve Communism, because of the number of enemies wishing to overthrow it, dictatorship was necessary until the enemies were either eliminated or no longer enemies.

I don't have names for them, yet. If you could just try to write your posts in a way where that doesn't matter, that'd be preferable. Sorry about that :/

Communism and democracy are supposed to co-exist. Nations like the USSR were essentially state-run capitalism. Communism is meant to be for the people, and you can't have that without elections.

The Nkobangouese National Liberation Front was the army that fought for Nkobangouese independence from France in the 60s. They established a brief proletarian dictatorship, but were forced to hold elections with international observers in which they were dislodged from power. They have since fought for a return to the socialist regime.

They are not democratic, though many of the fighters independently harbor socialist ideals and many factions within the rebel army want to establish a semi-democratic socialist system. Sese Kongolo, himself, just wants to drive foreign influences out of Nkobangou and doesn't particularly have ideological loyalties towards the socialists than he does for the people of Samusenga.

Only one. Sorry, I think that having multiple nations would present a conflict of interests that not even the best RPer could remain unbiased with. But yeah, just TG me with what your basic ideas are and feel free to start posting. Keep in mind that I can and will exercise the authority to boot people I think are being unrealistic, god-moddish, and purposefully difficult, though I will likely give a few warnings first.

to all nations looking to intervene in this conflict how do you feel about us dividing the southern part of the country into sectors and taking control and responsibility in the sector that we are assigned. i feel that this would increase our ability to combat the rebels
