OOC:Cesopium controls territory only in the South of Dacruz along with the islands off the coast. Supplies are brought by ship into the port of Conta, moving supply lines through possibly hostile territory is too risky, the only possibility could be North Vasille is that it's a caravan of Cesopiumian supporters.

We will not accept the fuel-cost extortion scheme from the imperialist pirate state of Nedewsila. We will accept only if donated to the People and its State free of all charges.

Our glorious Government's initial report that the assaulted caravan was a part of the Cesopiumian military was evidently a fabrication by a cabal of imperialist spies rooted in State media, and it appears that any hostile forces entrenched in North Vasille haven't in fact been alerted to the recent attack. We have alerted Column 4's political commissar of these developments and will be moving to liberate the city when we have solid intelligence on the strength of the imperialists and anarchist rebels there.

Sgt. Mctavish (Gold Leader) and her wingman, Capt. Brayfield (Gold Two), were navigating their UF-105 Arrows over the centre of Dacruz city, directly over the area the Nedewsilan nuclear bomb had fallen. It was Marcus Brayfield's first flight mission since being freed from a Nation of Warfare prison, and the two had expected the flight to be a fun reintroduction for Marc into what had happened since his arrest in Dacruz. Well, he knew now. Dacruz city's downtown core was desolate, completely devoid of life. It had been ruined before, but there had always been the trash can fires, the clotheslines strung between rubble, the bands of people grouped together telling eachother everything would work out. Now the lifesign sensors picked up nothing, nothing lived in the downtown of Dacruz city now. It saddened the Loyalist Sergeant to see such a beautiful country this way. Dacruzians had always struck Alex as happy people, optimistic and ready to make a change for the better. They didn't deserve this . . . nobody deserved this.

The Green Union is preparing a specially equipped force to take back Dacruz city, both the areas contaminated by nuclear fallout and those that are not. The primary aim is to drive out rebels and retrieve important artifacts and documents from museums and the military vault under the parliament buildings, which was never breached by rebels during their occupation.

The DMA already possesses a large quantity of BMP-1s, a vahicle designed to protect the infantry inside from radiation and chemical attacks, and these vehicles will be deployed in the coming attack. A group of Nedewsilan N-SOT troops ate willing to aid the coalition. Well equipped with advanced radiation recon armor they follow closely behind the DMA and are prepared to shoot at any rebel survivor well before the DMA even notice.

Using the fear brought by a nuclear strike, the Nedewsilans accept thousands of immigrants from Dacruz as it has already been proven that the standard of living in a Nedewsilan refugee camp is much better then living in the oppressive Dacruzian state. Even without the civil war.

As he got out of the car and A-unit went on to the target in recilies. He did not know what he wuld do after he arrived at the target location. All he knew that he would kill a high priority target. Once he got up to the roof of one of the tallest building. He went up to a 160 caliber sniper rifle he set up shop and waited.

As the target went down his sights and he found the wind speed and ect. he put his finger on the trigger.He took the shot blowing off the targets arm. He soon disappeared into the day.

As the ANS Defender will be the only flying carrier in dacruzian airspace. The GRA will withdraw 5 of its divisions and with the withdrawal of several divisions only 2 divisions and 5 brigades will be present in Dacruz with a total number 6,584 GRA soldiers

The GRA will still keep a presence in Dacruz but will cut back on military spending involving dacruz, due to more costly military projects.

Division size normally ranges between 10,000-20,000 soldiers. Brigades are much less than that.

Even in the Second World War, the largest single military ever deployed (German Wehrmacht) numbered some 6,000,000.

I'll allow the caveat that it is not without historical precedent for impossibly inflated numbers to be recorded as official history. Battles and conquests under Emperor Justinian of Byzantium were recorded as regularly killing millions of people in each and every battle. This trend was also common in medieval Europe and the empires of antiquity.

I can only assume numbers like those mentioned above are similarly inflated, for the sake of keeping things within realistic parameters... for a localized rebellion.

OOC: I won't bother quoting. You guys already know what I'm going to talk about.

GRA, I don't object to you saying you have snipers armed with 160 cal. rifles. Though this is a tad excessive in appearance, just treat it like a 50 cal. and everyone will be happy. So long as you aren't shooting through tanks and stuff like that you can call your weapons whatever you want. I know you're going to be fine with this. After all, one of your guys was piloting a mech on page 15 and though it was able to grapple with rebel armour one RPG took it out. Similarly nerf the rest of your PMT gear and I don't see why anyone could be objecting.

However, having over ten million troops in Dacruz is a little excessive. I myself only have a few hundred, primarily training instructors and aircraft maintenance guys. Twelve million are far too many, especially considering that yours are front line combat troops. You don't need to tone down your combat missions or effectiveness, just whenever it becomes necessary for troop numbers to be declared state something more reasonable.

Cesopium continues their counterattack on the rebel forces assaulting Tusia which were being slowly surrounded on 3 sides leaving only the north to retreat from as the flanking from the west continued. Oil fires lit the sky up where supply trucks had been destroyed by the T-72a's in the flanking force.Shells would explode as they hit the ground from the artillery in front of the rebels coming from nearby hills.

Meanwhile in Conta, the first elements of the Legions,333 from each Legion XII,XVII,XIX were being assembled and amassed in Conta. Back in Costa Tusa, extra soldiers had begun work on a fitting Legion Chapter House to recruit locals from to the Cesopiumian cause to help reinforce the DPG(Dacruzian's People Guard), gaining men here and there along with some support personnel.

The ambassador, Arnold Selinger announced this today in the news of the confirmation of the destruction of Dacruz City.

Delacruz county serves as the acting capital for Dacruz, and Dacruz city was not fully destroyed in the nuclear strike. The weapon dropped was in fact a tactical nuclear weapon, a downsized nuke meant to be used on a battlefield. Most of Dacruz city, other than the radiation zones, is still as habitable as it was before. (which was not very) Therefore The Green Union denounces Mr. Selinger's proposal as a Cesopiumian attempt to gain further power over Dacruz from the Coalition.

In Other News: Rebel forces are pulling a "tactical retreat" out of Tusia province after a series of crushing defeats by the Cesopiumian and local DPG forces.

The Loyalist-aligned DMA (Dacruzian Militia Army) is growing envious of the Cesopiumian-aligned DPG (Dacruzian's People Guard) and many are secretly hoping to cross swords with them soon, though the LAF has released no plans to do so.

As he awoke with SSTG. Sarah Himi waking him. "We there yet?" He asked. She replied "In 10 minutes.". One the C-17 had landed he and his battalion dismounted at Fort Gold. The ANS Defender was temporarily landed at Air docks CC-135. After his time on leave he knew many in the republic wanted to withdrawal all GRA forces in Dacruz after the several nuclear blasts in the war. At least the GRA will not abandon its Dacruzian allies.

He walked to his barracks when he was met by an officer wearing a Navy uniform. Naval Intelligence, the military's main source of spies. As they walked away for the briefing and they spoke about thier objectives.

She went to her new bunk and put all of her stuff down. Once she was done she sat on the bunk and she started thinking. She has been contemplating joining the GRA self-defense force to spend more time with her family. The nuclear blast in Dacruz city had brought her back here. She couldn't wait to go back to the Republic, but she knew that it will be a while.

Shw drove down 5th street into a parking garage. She and her family were going to Mall of Arcadia today. Once they got into the main doors she went to Game place. SHe was a gamer, a damned good one too. SHe bought a small gaming device for her son who was 5 with a few games. She on the other hand bought the newest bethesda games. Once they left the store they went to the galleria and got some food. She forgot some of the things they said. After that they went to best buy for a new TV. She remembered the news report that went on while they were there

She attended the briefing. It was boring as usual. Major Knight had stated that this operation will be called Operation Sucker punch. It was basically as shock and awe attack.After the briefing she went to the showers and got in her PT weats and went to her bunk to sleep.

Routing the rebel forces who had retreated from the field of battle, men cheered in the victory, some of the rebels were left behind by their retreating comrades. Being taken captive by Cesopiumian Soldiers and DPG paramilitary men alike. These men were then taken to prisons, interrogated by their fellow Dacruzian countrymen overseen by a Cesopiumian supervisor. Any and all tactics were allowed on the men to gain vital information on the positions of the remaining rebels in their area to prevent any form of attack to come upon it again in Tusia.

Meanwhile with the mopping up of the front, mines are deactivated remotely , construction crews and soldiers alike begin building a concrete wall across the north and east of Tusia to prevent any smugglers from sneaking in or the rebels posing a assault with gunfire alone. Covered atop was barbed-wire to prevent anyone from sneaking inside with the intent of doing harm to the soldiers. Watchtowers were rebuilt behind the wall, with a ditch out infront of the wall to the sides of the road.

Strategists in Paramina looked upon their map of Dacruz, looking at nearby settlements which would be in their way of advance if they were to restore the old government. They set their eyes upon Meccia,New Hellian, and Freoin to the north of Tusia which might act as bases of incursion. Legionnaires continue to arrive into Conta, grouping up into their preset units with their comrades.

The Central Party would strongly prefer an anarchic takeover if we cannot win a military victory there; anarchists are never organized enough to pose a direct threat to our State, unlike the formidably disciplined capitalist-imperialists and social-imperialists."

A negotiator from Column 4 set out to North Vasille with news of an impending ISAF aerial bombardment to be undertaken on behalf of the "sovereign territory of Dacruz". Although officially controlled by Dacruzian government forces, it is well-known that the local government there is corrupt and has reached an 'understanding' with the anarchist rebels and, quite possibly, shady Nedewsilan arms traders. Rumor says that nobody really knows who's actually in control there - the government coalition or the anarchists.

Fortunately from the Central Party's point of view, the Anarchists had been supplied by Soviet Communist agents before, were used to doing business with them, and were unfazed by the Party's massacres of civilians - having committed similar massacres themselves before.

"Look, we have a shared interest in keeping the capitalist and social-imperialist states of the world from returning the government to power. We have 50,000 soldiers on the way, we are committed to overthrowing the Coalition, and we know the rebellion is hard-pressed. The spread of anarchy here is highly favorable to the anti-imperialist cause and we both share an internationalist, revolutionary outlook. All we ask in return is ammunition for fighting the Coalition with."

"We'll send in eight battalions to topple the government and deal with the officials who have been charging "protection fees" from local rebels, leave you an unfettered the run of the town, and assist in the war effort and open up free ration centers completely free of charge, as part of our return commitment."

At five in the morning, the city awoke to sounds of heavy gunfire. A combined army, 2,000 strong, had assembled to storm the sleeping city.

Arstotzka will remain neutral in this war but will send supplies like guns, bombs, and ammo to all sides in the Civil War President Norin hopes peace will return to the country.

The Nedewsilan Navy stops the Arstotzkan supply ships in their tracks and steal relive them of their weapons. The Nedewsilans then send a telegram to Arstotzka than sending weapons is a terrible way to bring peace, but, because you were supporting all parties, you remain pretty neutral. The Nedewsilans then keep the confiscated weapons and ammo for them selves.

"Sir, sorry to wake you sir but we have reports of North Vasille being completely overrun." Said the intel officer as the weary admiral walked onto the deck. "Lemme guess-" "It seems to be the LFN. We're not too sure but we think it's them. Due to recent buildup around the city." The Intel officer said as he cut the admiral off. The admiral blinked,"Alright... Well we shall commence the airstrikes then. We'll let off warning shots at first, then get more accurate. Start with the king raptors first." "Yessir."
A small team of 2 king raptors were prepped with AGMs and some dumb bombs. They were then set to take off from the deck. "Tower this is viper, requesting permission to take off." "This is tower preparations are complete and you are cleared for takeoff."
The raptors activated their afterburners and they soon went zooming off the ship. They then headed towards North Vasille, from port San Salvacion.

When the raptors reached the city, the just fired their missiles, bombs, and guns around the city as warnings then flew away.

The Nedewsilans deny that there are any shady weapons traders in Decruz and also that northern Dacruz is under a relatively stable Dacruzian government put in place by the Nedewsilans after liberation all of northern Dacruz from the anarchist rebels. But, it is possible that northern Dacruz still has some rebel activity but it is extremely unlikely.

The Nedewsilans are celebrating their one millionth refugee taken into the secret high security four star refugee community in Nedewsila.

Also, Nedewsila moves its forces to rebel controlled Santa Vraz and begin evacuating civilians who might be caught in a crossfire between forces. The Nedewsilan armor covers the retreat but does not fire into the city because they do not want to be responsible for any collateral damage on infrastructure.

The Nedewsilan Marines enter the city and capture 80% of the rebel population, the rest escape to the remote hamlet north of Santa Vraz. They will be hunted down another time as well as the rest of the rebels in Northern Dacruz. The captured rebels are taken with the refugees to a one star holding camp where they remain prisoner in acceptable conditions until the rebellion is crushed.

With this major victory the Nedewsilans have secured a extensive level of political power in Northern Decruz.
