The reality of the situation was starting to way on the new President. Sure, he could preach all day, but putting his promises to action was a whole other story. It looked like peace was farther off then he had once thought, the Loyalist, the PLA, and now the mess of Bearia, men in suits pointing fingers and calling names. Through the files and documents, Jonas found a small, framed photograph. It was grainy, and out of focus, but Abbas could see a trio standing happily in frame, a man, woman and child. A family. "What would you do?" Abbas stared long and hard into the faces of his parents, before an odd feeling overcame him. As his vision blurred with tears, he quickly put the photo away and wiped away at his eyes. He would not have another war. He would make peace. He had to.
Anansian Union Condemns Mediterranean Action against Bearia
To My Allies and Friends,
It has come to my attention that a controversy has arisen over the practices of Bearian Union Government, regarding the treatment of foreign diplomats and exercises conducted by their armed forces. While I understand your frustration, I do not believe the response is appropriate or deserved. We are rushing to quickly into conflict with potential partners over something extremely trivial that could be settled without hostilities.
If Bearian officials truly commit any wrongdoings in the future, unprovoked I will add, my stance on this issue may change. Until then I will not not support any further action taken against the Bearian Union, by the Mediterranean Union or any other nation.

Anansian Union offers Bearian Union Trade Deals
To all those it Concerns,
Please forgive the harsh words of my allies, and let me be the first to say that we believe Mediterranean Union Nations are wrong in taking a hostile stance towards you and your people. I wish to extend to you the olive branch, and hope that we may be able to reach some sort of trade agreement. If such an agreement is simply not possible at this time, I will take no offence, and continue to hold a neutral stance on your nation.
Regards,
Jonas Hakim Abdil Abbas
President of the Anansian Union
