Student Exchange [OPEN]

To celebrate the successful rebuilding of Nekori, Nekori has decided to host a student exchange! Here you'll learn a lot about Nekorian culture and people.

The exchange is hosted in the Academy of Miguru in the capital city of Tsundi. It's a rather large cathedral-like building which overlooks the city as the academy is placed on top of a big hill. It's surrounded by a lush, green forest. You'll be collected at 9:30 AM by a Nekorian guide.

The air was clear and a slight breeze brushed through the trees. A short, Nekorian girl with short, black hair and a medical eyepatch covering her left eye sat on a bench under a tree. She was reading an English book called "Moby Dick". She looked very focused, but confused at the same time.

Eveliina Kamilla was busy getting prepared for the new student exchange program The Colony was trying to pull off. She felt pretty excited to be doing this, the second one to get into said program. Anything to work for the greater good of The Colony, and on top of that she would get to see so much new stuff. Though she packed light, taking only what she thought she would need. Hopefully she would learn more than just school related stuff, now all that stood in the way was the trip.

TotalStrategists Metuisela Daucakacaka, Kumar Dharmasena and Adekunle Adegbola have just arrived in Nekori.
After tearful goodbyes to their families, they departed with mixed feelings of fear and hope.
In an interview to the TotalStrategic press, Adegbola announced his hopes to be the first of many, and to be at the forefront of a successful future partnership with Nekori and with the other participating nations

A tall, bearded Nekorian man awaited the student. He stood infront of the main doors and took a deep breath. He was excited and hopeful, knowing that the coming weeks will be full of new experiences for the students. After such a long time of basically isolation, Nekori could use some publicity. He glanced at the Nekorian girl. "Misuki, aren't you excited?" He asked. Misuki walked over to him. "Why should I be? I just want to go to my classes, you know that I'm not good in socialising, Mr. Karuto..." She said. Karuto let out a soft chuckle. "Well, that's not my problem...!" Misuki just groaned and rolled her eyes.

Beatrice arrive at her new school on her new bike. Being the only Socosi student present made her feel very proud. She now had the opportunity to show the world she could be something. She found herself quite lucky too. Altough she was considered a slacker by most of her teachers, She had a very attractive profile for a military life. She only needed more discipline. If it wasnt for the fact that the student sent abroad was randomly chosen she would probably be at some military school right now and getting barked at by some low grade officers with self-esteem issues.

She promised herself she would do all she can to honor Socosie even though she's hardly patriotic. She sometime wonder if this is not actualy something her weird government want. She decided to come to school in a grey sweatsuit and hoodie that fit her athletic body well. She tied her shoulder length dark brown hair in a ponytail that leave her sharp facial features discovered. She wonder if people will mistake her for an asian due to her native american heritage. She chain her bike to a post and walk toward the people.she speak up

"Hey guys I'm Beatrice! Thats a nice school I guess?"

Mr. Karuto bowed. "Greetings, Beatrice, and welcome to Nekori! You're quite early, I like that!" He said with a wide smile. Misuki hid behind Karuto a bit. She glared at Beatrice and nervously waved at her. Karuto chuckled softly and rolled his eyes.

Eveliina felt a little self conscious as she herself arrived at the school. Being so 'small' compared to everyone else here was a bit unsettling. Though she was already warned of that being sent out to the outside world. She was also a little surprised to find that she wasn't the first to the school. She straightened her outfit and fur, along with adjusting her backpack before approaching them. She looked at the place, it seemed impressive. After a moment she went up to the others, one of them that didn't look like the other two was going on about the school apparently. "Hi, I'm Eveliina. For the exchange program."

Jaques LeVar makes his way from the plane to the Nekorian School ground. LeVar, the head of his local branch of the Junior le Marins, was hand picked from a selection of the best students in all of the Korami. A fair-skinned, tall Cuban with a strong jaw, LeVar's Koramese (French) features are very prominent. Levar speaks English, French, and Chinese fluently, and has a basic understanding of Russian, although with a Koramese (French) accent. A well dicspilined 16 year old, Jaques is sometimes nervous, although you'd never know it from his face or body language.

'Such a great honour to be representing General Green...', Jaques thought as he aproached the school. Spotting the obvioulsy Nekorian girl and man, he saluted them and then asked: "Excuse me, Friends! I am Jaques LeVar, of the Korami. This is the Nekorian acadamey of Neguru, correct?"

Karuto clapped his hands together. "Ah, more students! Welcome to the Acacedamy of Miguru! We hope that you enjoy your time here! Oh, and Beatrice, we do have a running track and we can do "magic and shit", as you stated it..." Misuki curiously looked at the anthropromorphic ferret that stood infront of her. She nodded at her as a greeting.

"I have an importent question for you sir. You probably know it because somehow peoples brag about it but Socosie have a rather... Open approach with drugs. What is this place official stance on that stuff? Wouldnt want to get ejected because I did something wrong."

Eveliina returned the greeting Misuki gave her as she listened to the other student go on about the school. She was pretty excited herself to see what this place had to offer, but held her tongue. Looking at what the others looked like, she must seem so odd. Being a 'short', what some of told her to prepare for, 'animal', they looked just as interesting to her too. "Well I look forward to seeing this place and what it has to offer."

Karuto checked his watch. "It's about time that we started, eh? Follow me, children!" He said as he started marching through the halls of the academy. The halls were big and epic with chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, but the halls were lit up brightly by the daylight that came through through the windows. "You'll have a short day today. Your first lesson will be History from 9:30-10:40, mathematics from 10:40-11:50, a break from 11:50-12:20 followed by PE from 12:20 until 13:30. If you have any questions you may ask them at Misuki." Karuto said. Misuki hid her face a bit. 'Could you not direct them towards me, p-please...' She thought to herself. "Anyway, I must be going to my own class. See you soon and have fun!"

As he followed and listened, Jaques suddenly looked very, very puzzled.
"A... a break? During education hours? For what? In New Reims, we don't take breaks other than a short meal time. I'll much enjoy the history course, however. Say, you, the Socosi, what is your name? And you, Nekorian. Misuki, is it? Are you Xenophobic? Are you just shy? Or is it because we are foreigners?"

Misuki took a while to translate everything that he said, and then frowned slightly at being called "xenophobic". "N-No, not at all!" She exclaimed, bowing deeply. "I-I didn't mean to offend you, it's just that... Y-You could say that I'm shy..." She sighed and started walking towards history. A well-dressed woman sat on her desk, smiling at the students as they walked in. "Greetings and welcome to Nekori! You must all be very excited to be here, right?" She smiled. "I'm miss. Maiji, history teacher. I'll help you understand what happened and how it got Nekori where it is today! Any questions before we begin?"

As Jaques walked into the room, he turned, saluted the Nekorian flag, and then saluted Ms. Maiji.
"Maam! No questions. Maam!"
"Say, Beatrice. Were you randomly selected, or hand picked to come here?"

Eveliina walked through the halls with the others looking around at the impressive architecture of this place. When they went into the classroom she gave a curt bow herself for the introduction. She took a seat in the front row, since she was aware that size would probably be more of an issue for her until The Colony started coming up with solutions for that. Hoping that the teacher didn't have some sort of seating chart for them.
