The Imperialists have begun launching a long, bloody offensive on the poorer areas of the border area. Many poor people and people within the government are sympathizers to the Imperialist cause, for they are tired of being overshadowed by the UFSNA in the north and the SASU in the south. The ranks are swelling as thousands of poor and middle-class Mexicans join the cause, and thousands more sponsor it in secret. At least three officials in the government have been secretly supplying it with weapons ranging from assault rifles to attack helicopters, and someone has supplied them with detailed information on government military plans. The Federalists and Imperialists have signed a non-aggression pact that will last for the duration of the war, and both parties are expanding across the towns, plains, and deserts of Mexico by the hour. Together, they represent the largest threat to the government and dwarf the other groups in territorial size and political power. The future of a democratic Mexico looks grim.

Just edit your post to remove the part about being close. Most II RPs ignore the differences in maps, so I think this will do the same... the only maps we will have will be of the western hemisphere according to LDM's canon, but that won't keep you from RPing.

My friend, my friends. It is in this conflict I see that the batter of war must be carried again. Even though I do not know them the calls of the federalist and the imperialist in Mexico are so just and full of truth that it can only pull my old frail body to its knees with the sincerity of their mission. Mexico I believe can be strong, but only under the care and dedication of those who wish to see her that way. As the Fumetsu was giving his speech the navy disembarked. With a force of two aircraft carriers, four battleships, two submarines, and four destroyers the Immortal Fleet set sail. Coming from the Islands of Japan, the land of Korea, and the north of China a attack from the pacific was something the empire was hoping the Mexican government wouldn't be prepared for especially with a fleet the likes of this. The fleet would continue to sell hoping to wait till the dead of night to strike and hit the government with surprise.

OOC: Remember, guys, acceptable tech level here is 1900-2050, the second year depending on your rate of advancement. Basically, if you're unsure of what's acceptable, ask me. Muskets are a no, and so is FTL communication or travel, or extensive space colonization. According to my starting canon, LDM's Civil War started in 2028, and there were only a few nations that had a few minor space colonies, most of which were for temporary living only. No space warships. Orbital weapons platforms are okay, but don't spam them. Again, you may only deploy up to 1.5 million troops for now; I'll tell you when that threshold can be crossed. If most of your troops are godlike super-soldiers, that number must be less than 0.75 million or even less, depending on just how powerful they are. I was fairly lenient with the first date so that, should they wish, any near-modern PT nations can get involved. Your nation must have been in the industrial age for at least 100 years before entering the RP.

Also, for now, no nukes are allowed, and other WMDs are allowed in small quantities but not recommended for the sake of keeping the beginning of the war realistic.

OOC: Hard to say. The Chiapas have little resistance in the south, so they show promise. The communists apparently have a dozen backers (most of which are puppets and thankfully haven't posted as such yet). However, the Federalists and Imperialists, the two most powerful groups, have banded together and have about a sixth of all of Mexican land- a chunk about the size of Oregon.

So if you mean by raw numbers, the Federalist-Imperialist alliance. If you mean by backers, the Communists. And if you mean by promise, the Chiapas. If you mean by creepiness, then the Azteca. And according to LDM, the Theocrats are about to get a lot of help from Catholic Venezuela- which will mean a big blow to the Chiapas, who are apparently being secretly funded by drug cartels. But for now, the Theocrats aren't doing much.

The Federalists/Imperialists have my bets on them, given they're huge and have a lot of powerful backers, too. But that's just me.

The troops of the Lion Guard sat in silence as the the drone of the Valkyrie's many engines echoed through the night. With the Emperor having publicly declared support for the Government the Lion Guards had been sent out as part of the Expeditionary unit being sent to Mexico. They were being deployed by HALO over areas along the border and in the Tamaulipas region. As the ramp began to lower the whir of servos rang through the plane as the Lion Guards stood up and paced towards the opening ramp in their exoskeletons. They slowed down as they reached the end of the ramp and the lead officer yelled with his external speakers "For the Emperor". They all cheered in response and the leaped out of the aircraft into the darkness.

I'll give you some naval support, mate.

Coast of the Sonora State
Fifteen destroyers and five battleships cruised a kilometer from the coast, with an aircraft carrier a kilometer behind them. Out of nowhere, the calmness was broken, and the hundreds of intrigued civilians on the beach who had been staring in a gathering crowd for half an hour screamed as high-explosive shells rained down hell on them. Citizens exploded into chunks of flesh and sand was turned into flying shards of red-hot glass. Sea grasses caught on fire, as well as towels, umbrellas, and clothes. A boardwalk leading to the beach was obliterated as dozens of citizens scurried across it in an attempt to escape, only to be slaughtered or to fall into the burning sea grasses on the other side of the dunes. People then resorted to washing over the dunes like waves, occasionally being blasted apart by the dozen by high-speed explosive projectiles. Soon, the national guard, police, and eventually military came to ward off the attackers, but no defense they mounted noticeably slowed down the onslaught. The metal behemoths kept firing. When the walls of sandbags, erected in a hurry, had been all but destroyed, the same went for the lines of soldiers and armored vehicles. Finally, the merciless bombarding came to a stop, seemingly the end of the carnage. But it was only the eye of the storm. After about two minutes, the aircraft carrier released its birds of prey, its fighter planes that brought doom to the rows of beach houses and stored behind the dunes. Civilians choked up the street as the military fired up at the heavens, but it was no use. Missiles and bullets fell down to the crowd like dead birds and angry bees. Soon, the small beach city had been virtually leveled, and the planes refueled at the carrier, where they set off to bombard Mexican positions on the Federalist front. Drones and airplanes poured across the border of UFSNA-LDM Airspace, tearing apart Government ranks with storms of explosives and bullets. Meanwhile, troops began constructing a six-meter brick wall along the small section of Mexican land between the Baja Peninsula and the rest of Mexico, which was cut short by the UFSNA's border.

The Government of The USS of Siberia condem the actions of the United Fascist States of North America. It calls upon the entire international community to stop its actions taken directly against civilian targets. It also calls upon the Imperialist faction to end its alliance with the Federalists.


Meanwhile the West Mexican Milita has recieved a further 3,000 men and women into its ranks. These troops arn't necessarily Communists but feel that they would prefer a Communist state, that works for the people, then a Facist state that tries to destroy them.
