We where very exited at first, but, then the AA-guns lightened up the sky, many soldiers dropped dead on the ground but the most of the paratrooper force where on the ground. The AA-guns was quickly silenced by the paratroopers. They started moving towards Kharkov...

"We are detecting heat signatures on the ground! I repeat we have detected heat signatures on the ground. This is not a drill; the capital and Metropolitan Districts must be defended. Military Police are instructed to escort civillians to the bunkers. All non-military personale must descend to level forty. Last blast doors will be sealed in one hour."

Wall turrets are on full watch. Miniguns scan the skies. Elite soldeirs with high powered rifles aim down at the countryside around the city. The twenty story walls now come to life and show their arsenal of machineguns, cannons and missile launchers. Giant titanium doors close off Capital Highway entrances and all flights are cancelled. Millions of people calmly walk through narrow and wide city streets, watched over by Military Policemen that stand out from the crowds dressed in white uniforms. Hundreds at a time descend down triangular stairwells to underground level forty. The Underground District is still believed to have stopped burning, but toxic gasses still linger and seep through tunnel entrances and drainage grates. Luckily civillian bunkers are separate from the district.

The Beniaman paratroops have to navigate through the thick forests that surround Kharkov's metropolitan limits. In there lie abandoned relics of the old Komino-Orion wars including brokendown and dismembered vehicle and loads of bullets casings. The place they land in is the graveyard of a brutal battlefield now reclaimed by trees and shrubery. Skeletons are occasinal and even a battered Orionist battleflag rests on a rusty flagpole. It's a grim reminder of the horrors of war and frightens some of the younger Beniama soldiers.

Their days are numbered. Their fates are sealed and with every step they take, they move closer to the white pearly gates of their heaven.

OPERATION TAKBIR: QANDARISTANIA TO PARACHUTE OUTSIDE KHARKOV

With support from Takistani and Beniaman authorities, the Qandaristani government has ordered 5000 troops to be parachuted across the Kharkov area, with the goal of eventually capturing it and attacking. Qandaristani fighter jets will support all allied troops and launch airstrikes on Kharkov and its military police positions. Previous airstrikes have killed thousands of people in Kharkov and left it in ruins. According to the Qandaristani sultan Mohammad Mokhtar, "not a single Komarinian target shall stand in Kharkov" and "the Islamic troops will try their best to remoe these scums from their dirty capital and capture their president by his neck".

OPERATION TAKBIR: KOMARINIANS GET FLANKED

Qandaristani troops were pushed out of areas close to New Lisbon by Komarinian troops after several hours of intensive shelling. Several extra thousand troops from the area around the Mogadishu area has flanked the Komarinians by invading the western side of New Lisbon. The Komarinians are surrounded by Takistani and Qandaristani troops as both are currently pushing forward. The Komarinians will suffer really harshly thanks to the merciless troops of Islam in New Lisbon.

OPERATION TAKBIR: QANDARISTANI AIR FORCE ATTACKS GCS TARGET
Several Qandaristani fighter jets have attacked a GCS target around Stockholm today as an effort to make GCS surrender and withdraw together with their pact. From the skies, bombs are visible and they seem to be going down. Stockholm seems to be in ruins and the Qandaristanis successfully leave the area around Lake Mälaren, close to Stockholm. Using the same tactics as the accidental Takmyr bombings, the Qandaristanis ensured success in the destruction of the GCS capital. A new phase of 'shock and awe' is due.

About 100,000 soldiers are going for the long march through sea, air and of course, land. Tanks are ready as they all head towards GCS, in the goal of cleansing Communist heresy. has been moved in desolate areas unspotted for a couple of weeks. The army will now move in on the north of Quandaristania, aftar some severe bombings. We will not surrender unconditionally, make peace with all nations that you are in a war with and we will do the same.

All Kharkov defenses are online and the one million Komarinian soldiers stationed to defend the city are ready for action. Sight of Qandaristani attack aircraft is confirmed on radar and AA miniguns start begin to use radar relays to lock on a specific plane before they arrive. The heavy artillery turrets atop the wall swivel to the site at which Beniaman paratroopers landed and on orders of General Holbrook, they open fire; massive one ton shells are lobbed several miles out to the forest, each one causing a huge upheaval of soil and wood as they strike the ground. "Leave nothing alive out there! We have ammunition to last us months so don't worry of running out!" Cannon after cannon fires off high explosive shells decimating large chunks of the forest and the Beniaman landing site. Autoloading 155mm howitzers spray the edge of the forest, forcing any Beni soldier back towards the shelling of the 8-inch cannons.

F-22 fighter jets are scrambled from Gemini AFB to take on the Qandaristani attack aircraft should they make it past the AA. A total of 32 fighters are dispatched to protect the Horizon Ring. At the same time, twenty B1 Lancer strategic bombers ready for takeoff. They carry a gift of 1,680 Mark 82 bombs for the Beni capital.

When Qasheeries were asleep, the well-known militant, Khai Islamic Group (KIG), bombed 190 cities in Qasheer creating a party of blood everywhere. People were screaming and crying as they see their's loves one dying. The odd thing that everyone wouldn't think happened. 90 out of 190 of the cities are 100% Muslim cities and those cities still got bombed by KIG.

This created each religion lose faith within each other and start to attack one of another. Every now and then, people will hear people screaming 'Allah Hu Akhbar' or 'Jesus Christ' or simply saying 'God!', calling help from their Almighty. Some didn't believe that the Almighty even love them. But they didn't knew that their screaming and begging heard by His ears but the only thing they need to do now is wait for the Almighty to help.

About 98,000 Komarinian troops were stationed at New Lisbon, half of which were dispatched to cleanse the freeway of Takistani filth, so only 24,500 are left to defend themselves. However, luck is still on their side. These soldiers grew up in this city and moved back after the devastating earthquake swarms tore the original city apart and drowned a fraction of it; they know this city like the very SA80 assault rifles they're equipped with. Though the Qandaristan may have maps of the once sprawling city, there was much left out. So the surrounded Komarinist soldiers go where they know to go: underground. Down below is the Lisbon cave system which has a direct route back to safety which will get them behind their Qandaristani foes. As they find the entrances to the caves within old city alleys and subway tunnels, enemy voices can be heard echoing through the empty streets. 4,800 Komarinist soldiers are selected to fool in the incoming attack by making them believe all 24k of them are still there. They risk capture and death, but agree that the risk is worth the cost and stay behind and take up surprise attack locations to kill as many Qandaristanians as they can.

As for the current Komarinian forces that is continuing to exterminate the Takistani infestation, they'll have to get to higher ground. Daimler Hill is close by and could be a perfect vantage point; the only question is whether the team in New Lisbon can buy them enough time to reach Daimler Hill.

The HEMTTs that where carrying the Takistanis survivors taken as POWs have left the city several hours before the attempted flanking and shelling from Quandaristani forces. The convoy is well within Belkan territory when the invading army gets near New Lisbon.

As the enemy Islamic forces approach the very well dug in Belkan positions, General Eichwald gets the call from the commander of the Komarinian troops detailing their plan to move through the hidden passages, Eichwald responds, "All right, we won't let them have an inch, they will have to learn that this city will not fall. You can take security in knowing you have the Belkan Intergalactic Colonial Union Military on your side. Mögen die Götter mit Euch sein!" He changes the channel on the communicator and begins give commands to his troops, "Men, we are to hold this line, if we fall here we fail. And failure is not an option! So if it wears the colours of the enemy or flies its flag, shoot it." The General changes channel once more to talk with the artillery crews that are over 50 miles out of the city. "Men, we need you to fire on the locations that our spacecraft will laser designate. Understood?" several voices go over the coms, "JA WOHL, GENERAL!" On board several light shuttles in orbit they begin to designate ground positions and the 100 M1032 360mm "Donnern" Towed Artillery begins to fire cluster shells at the advancing troops. The shells fire as a single entity but break apart after a certain point in their ballistic arc. The Belkan 100 tanks in their dug-ins begin to fire on advancing troops. Machine Gun nests made of HESCO bastions filled with sand and concrete rubble around the outsides of the nests to add extra bullet resistance begin firing their Belkan MG-4042 with rates of fire close to 2,000 rounds/minute. The Belkan troops have enough ammo to do this for several weeks nonstop.

[blocktext]I looked on to Abbas Tower as my generals lectured me on the battlefield. The world war was raging. Eternal bloodshed was occurring. Was it finally the End? No one knew. War is an uncertain topic... even more when it is waged across the world. The Greater Hudian Republic had so far not even told their stance. Only I knew what would be the outcome. Were I to risk my people and my nation to fight in honor of Islam or were we to stand cowards?

Never.

The Hudians were a proud race. And we will be ready to face bloodshed. Already we formed battle plans. The Qandarians coordinated their attacks with ours. Our target? The Germans. We were to refuel our jets in Qandaristan, engaging in mass airstrikes against the Germans in their own lands. Our ships will land on German soil, forming a fortification there. German assets in our nation frozen. Blockades to occur. The Germans were to feel pain. Granted we did not find them to be much of a priority.

The 9th Fleet were mobilized, as well as the 12th Air Wing, not to mention the 5th and 6th Battalions. Each had their tactics, led by expert generals who have known their respective soldiers for years. The 9th Fleet carrying the 5th and 6th will immediately land in Qandaristan, where they will take a Qandari ship to land on the Germans. And from there they will unleash hell. The 12th Air Wing will preemptively bombard the Germans in the landing spot so the Hudians will find it no challenge to land down.

What was left to declare war. The Germans will never see it coming. We were rather... quiet on our stance. There were only rumors that we were going to betray the Islamic Bloc. What was left to do was to disperse the rumors. A telegram will be sent to the Qandarians. The Germans will never see this coming: we even tried thawing relations.

They would face hell. Nothing else.

"Actually our actions were meant to frighten the entire Islamic Bloc. But things have changed: Qasheer announced its neutrality, Takistan and Beniama seem to have lost interest in attacking Europe, so the Sultanate of Quandaristan will be the only enemy we have to confront."
"And what about the Hudian Republic?"

Rademacher hesitated for a second and drank some water of a white plastic cup, so the journalist impatiently repeats her question.

"Genosse Kanzler? Does the Hudian Republic pose any threat to the SFRG?"
"Erm... Well... According to the BND our local agents have found increased military activity in the Hudian Republic, but we can't tell yet if they point their weapons at us..."
"What will happen if an attack occures?"
"There'll be a defense war in our backyard. But since we have installed our security protocols, no enemy troops can enter highly populated areas before getting recognized by one of our radar stations. Then we can send a bunch of soldiers, maybe a few Sukhois and you should know the rest of this procedure. Any more questions?

Komarinian B1 Lancer bombers over Beniama

As promised, a new campaign is launched against the Islamic Bloc leader, Beniama. After crippling a joint air invasion by Beniama and Qandaristania on the Inner Empire, Komarin takes the opportunity to strike back. Gemini AFB in Kharkov dispatches thirty-two B1 Lancer strategic bombers loaded with as many as eighty high explosive bombs destined for vital production locations. As the last B1 lifts off from the runway eight F-22 Raptors taxi into takeoff positions. The newest fighter aircraft to be introduced into Komarin's arsenal, these eight will perform dual roles in both escort and attack. Flight leader Alfred Reinhardt, a cynical 25 year old from Crynsk Power District, gives his fellow pilots some motivation: "Listen, we aren't doing this out of greed like Qandarians or Takistani's, we are doing this because we have to set the world right. What we're doing will tip the scales and give us a chance to right this world into how it should be. We're doing this for the longevity future of our nation and our species as a whole. They don't care about the things we care about, they only take without no remorse or regrets. They kill without a conscience." One by one, all eight F-22 Raptors leave the protection of the Kharkovian Capital Defense Radius and venture out over the wartorn landscape.

Five Hours Later

"Approaching target location! All planes open bomb bay doors for weapon deployment!" In near unison the three bomb bays of each B1 open. Rotary launchers within the bomb bays begin releasing eighty devastating bombs. The B1 diamond formation is effective for keeping the carpet bombing within the target zone and avoiding collateral damage to residential infrastructure. Anti-Air fire is heavy and two bombers have taken direct hits but this is now where the F-22 Raptors fulfill their secondary roles. Rolling away from the Lancer's, they dive down strafing the ground with their 20mm M61A2 6-barrel gatling gun. The ruination observed on industry is extensive.

The seas were good.

After a few days of voyage, Hudian ships finally reached the water border. Rumors say the Germans expect an invasion but that would be false. Or at least, false for the media. Our Qandari allies hath not replied yet but it was my personal endeavor to begin Plan B. We were to engage in exercises by ourselves, denying the Islamic Bloc to be our ally. Showing to the public that the intervention is false. Our drill was simple; do training until 12:00 midnight as fighters will zoom out and we conduct artillery fire, our troops taking the beach.

We could see missiles firing upon the Germans; a heavily encrypted message informing us it were the Takistanis. They may... hamper our attack if they reach the beach. Most of our allies were being quiet over Europe; only the Qandaris and now us Hudians were probably interested. What followed was more bombs which worried our men but we could not support and as such we could only see the horror. "Hey Sharif, turn on the telly!" I called out to one of the sailors. President Abbas was to speak to the Germans, notify them that our increased activity are just exercises.

The skies were now dark, the waves to a full halt.

The brave Hudian pilots; still in Qandaristan had luckily avoided Komarinian strikes. The laments of the Qandarians were painful and Hudians did the best to heal them. But now it was time to fight. There was of course a preliminary beach patrol, watching the Hudians idly. The fighter wing, fully armed and dangerous were to conduct airstrikes, ripping through the beach. Ships would fire artillery shots and unload soldiers. Chaos was coming. We cannot ever guarantee that civilians will stay alive; but the beach was closed due to the war and tourists were a no-no and we did not expect any thing.

The President, ever bright, decided to cheer for our troops before the battle. Each man and woman got to see their family and to see their faces beaming with pride. It was the first time in many years.

The Greater Hudian Republic would go to war.
