It is 1533. Your job is to create a global empire, but that doesn't mean there aren't any difficulties creating a colony. There are the Natives to worry about, along with disease, starvation etc. The colonial game has begun, and it is up to you to start your own empire, and beat out any competition. You can be a European country, African, or American; just know that there are people who want that land, and may invade and wipe you out for it. With that, I hope you have fun. And one more thing, this RP is about conquering, you can wage war in Europe or whatever country you are in, and take land. You need to demand your own place in the sun, and be the largest empire the World has ever seen.

Cadiz Spain, January 1st, 1533

King Carlos I has decided to send ships to the New world. One carrier, and Five Battleships will follow the 200 transport ships to Panama. 1,000 Conquistadors will be sent to establish a base of operations to invade the Inca, Aztec, and Maya civilizations; along with conquering the new world. It will take about 8 days to travel.

It was a time of change in the Iroquois lands. The world was shifting, and things were no longer certain. There was fire in the air and storms on the wind. The people needed to be stirred to action, so that the society could ready itself to go forward with its head high, chest forward, ready for whatever might come.

Hiawatha, the Speaker of Law, entrusted with the confidence of the Six Nations, gathered the strong men and elders of the folk together to unite them in action. He told them his plan - to create a strong nation from the bottom up, fortifying the pillars of the land - the animals, the fertile fields, the fresh water, the sharp metals - and by careful cultivation of these things, by the whole body of the people, to make the nation as if a mighty shield, strong in all parts.

The plan was put into action. Each village was to have its own farmland, its own water mill for electricity, and its own manufactures for the making of vital goods. What was not necessary for consumption, was re-used as materials to make more, and to make improvements. Where a shortage arose, the shortfall was compensated by surplus from elsewhere. Production was stable, and in some areas - like agriculture - it was destined to grow.

A civil war has just ended in Brazil. A war fought over power. A war that was fought over absolute power. Two factions: one who thought the people should rule the government and one that thought the government should we rule the people. The faction that supported government over people won. One man came to power: Chris Tolor. He abolished all voting in the country. He made himself the supreme ruler of the country. He makes all the decisions, he makes all the rules, all the money goes to him. After he came to power, he prepared a speech.

"My dear people, I am your new leader. Many of you here think I have come to oppress you and keep you down. No! I am here to make our country golden! I have grown up seeing this country struggle for too long. I must make the tough decisions so you don't have to. I am here to increase our global influence. I will do that. I will lead us to greater times. This is our Golden Age! But, I am your leader. You will respect me. You will fear me. You will worship me. I can improve your lives, but you must trust me to do that. You are my sheep. You do not know what to do. I am your shepherd! I will lead you to green pastures. I will keep you safe from the predators of the world. I am your superior, and you will treat me as such. This is our time. Long live the Tolorian Kingdom!!"

After the speech, public support was split. Some cheered, some were afraid, soon booed. Whether they liked it or not, he was their new leader, and this was his time to lead them to better days.

We already have data on colonies from the WWM (world wide map) our military is strong but Prussia's is theroticly stronger. There land troops could beat us. Meaning we need money for defenses just-in-case something is to happen. Only one problem with that, NO MONEY. We can't invest in a defense just yet. Fortanutley there is those movie makers that end up richer than we do. Im going to attempt an alliance with them and see if I can get money for reasearch and building of a military. We are also planing something big. A city in the sky help up by pillars. It would be a popular attraction for many people. In the mean time we are sending three carriers, three battleships, and three subs to eygpt to colonize. Maybe well find riches there. It will take 22 hours at 60 knots

King Tolor had a philosophy involving the military. If we build up the economy, he could support a large army, navy, and Air Force. So he created jobs for people. He instituted mandatory labor for all able bodied people above the age of 15 years. He established trade routes with other countries in South America. He built two trade ports and allowed all nations to use them.

To: All Nations of the World
From: King Tolor

I am proud to announce that I have opened two new trade ports. They are available for all nations' use. All who want to use it must first request and be accepted. We hope to open trade and benefit both of our countries.

Signed,
King Tolor

Within a few weeks, the trade ports were filled with ships from foreign nations trading with the Tolorian Kingdom. Many nations around the world came to these ports looking for trade. This trade greatly improved the economy. Now with his economy in place, the King could build his army however he wanted.

January 9th, Panama:

The Spanish Conquistadors have landed, and intend to conquer the lands they see. Rumors of gold fill their minds, as well as giving King Carlos I something to brag about in Europe. The first Conquistadors are amazed at what they see, the abundance of the native wild life, and possibly gold make them seek to take this land even more, as the ships drop off the soldiers, Spain is the only thing on their mind, as taking the rich lands will let them go else where. The Orient is the main goal. The Spanish put the flag into the ground, and are eager to continue their quest for gold.

With the economy in perfect condition, King Tolor saw this as the perfect opportunity to build a massive military. Furthermore, he could improve his efforts by accepting the Imperialists's offer. The King accepted their deal and paid them in return. He sought to double the size of his military, which was a little over 200,000, and really wanted to become a force on the blue seas. He ordered the construction of military factories across the country and a naval port on the northern part of their coast.

He next started drafting citizens from their homes. He ordered at least one able-bodied man from each family must serve two years in the military during their lifetime. At the bases, only few were in charge, because he trusted very few to be capable of leading an army. They trained all day. They trained on their physical stature. They focused on quickness and precision more than they did on patience. They had a strict code of law in the military bases. All who stepped out of line would be flogged and spend one night in the hole. The Tolorians wanted to be the best. The people were very patriotic, which helped ease some of the frustration they encountered during training.

The King had a plan in mind. If he could get an army in a great physical shape, he could conquer South America, and maybe the world. But he took it one step at a time. He had a very imperialist View. This had its positives and its negatives, which were soon to be discovered.

Prussian City of Fredericka
January 1st-9th

The Prussian Empire had long had it's eyes on the world, hungrily eyeing the riches of the Orient and the untamed deserts of Africa. Specifically the Suez. A small expedition had previously discovered the small province that looked as if it was a perfect match for a canal leading to the great Pacific. As such, the transports anchored in the harbor had been loaded with supplies over the past several days while their military escorts straggled in. A grand total of seven transports and three destroyers were to colonize the Suez for the specific purpose of constructing a canal, with orders to expand to the oil rich Middle East. Meanwhile in Iceland, the same scene occurred in Reykjavik, as transports loaded up for the conquest of Greenland, the same in Kiel where the goal was to colonize the rest of Scandinavia and Finland.

Kaiser Wilhelm IV led the Prussian Empire to prosper and bask in the sun, it's army equipped with the most advanced main battle tanks in the known world, the air force with the most sophisticated jets. The proud militarism carried from the Teutonic Order led to a well trained, skilled, and patriotic army. Already, deep in the bowels of City Palace were drafting War Plan Orange, the planned invasion of Italy.

Prussia was strong already, yet Prussia would always grow stronger.

Barcelona, Spain; January 9th:

The Spanish troops have boarded the transport ships, and are heading towards the city of Tunis in Tunisia. The goal is to conquer it, and advance further in Africa. In about a day the ships will arrive.

Tunis, Tunisia: January 10th

The transport ships have arrived, and the Spanish Troops dug the flag into the ground of the port. They advanced into the city, and fighting started.

Venezuela, and Columbia; January 10th

The Spanish Conquistadors have turned their attention in expanding south, particularly the northern regions of South America. Hundreds of tanks and 1,500 soldiers were sent to take the area by force, and make a Christian settlement to spread the faith.

Tenochtitlan, Mexico

Mitzhla sat on her stone throne, the Tlatoani's face illuminated by the light of braziers on either side of her. Before her stood High General Moctezuma IV, a high standing noble of the realm. He led her nation's armies, and in return, held some of the largest estates in the empire. As lord commander of the Aztec Jaguars, Moctezuma IV was a man to be reckoned with, he himself had personally fought on the battlefield to earn his status. Alas, the days of animal skins and maquahuitls were behind the empire. Nowadays, the distinguishment between the long time rivals, the Eagles and the Jaguars, was by the symbols on their uniforms. The Jaguars had a snarling cat of the jungle, and the Eagles a feather, gracefully falling from the sky. Both were forces to be admired.

"My Tlatoani, reports have come from the Eagles that a settlement of white men has appeared at Panama. While we have yet to form any sort of relations with them, some of the scouts believe they could be dangerous. What are we to do?" Asked Moctezuma with a bow. Mitzhla put a thin, delicate finger on her bronzed chin in thought.

"Send an envoy for now, let us find out if these white men are hostile or not. If they try to attack us, we will drive them from Panama and take their villages for ourselves."

January 11th, Tunisia:

The battle rages, but Spanish troops manage to take the Tunisia emperor hostage, and bring him back to Spain. The people want him back, and talks commence, but in the meantime Spanish troops drive the Barbary soldiers out of the city.

Morocco:

Juan Garrido has arrived at Morocco, along with 3,000 Conquistadors and 5,000 troops (please note that Conquistadors and Spanish Troops are different) and make the colony of Casablanca. He telegrams King Carlos I of his settlement.

Cadiz, Spain

A lot of ships, with 5,000 soldiers and 1,000 settlers are taking a voyage to Panama, and a Christian Missionary is being thought of.

To:
His Majesty, King Carlos I

Your Majesty, I have landed on the coast of Africa, after a Ten hour voyage. We met several native peoples, and they were friendly, but I suggest we don't trust them. As they tend to get rather defensive when we ask if we can move deeper onto the continent. No gold was found, but the Natives gave us some, and they will be sent back to you, My Highness, as they could help us in our conquering.

Sincerely,
Juan Garrido

A detachment of 1,000 Jaguar troops, as well as 200 tanks were sent southwards, joined by a diplomatic party and a grouping of 1,500 settlers. The Aztec Empire wanted to begin expanding its borders, for it had remained idle for far too long. If they could create a string of settlements along the land bridge connecting the Americas, it might make negotiations with the mysterious white men easier for the Empire. As they marched, the military divisions broke off, as did the settlers, in groups of 100's. The soldiers were left behind to guard the freshly chartered settlements. While they had a head start as far as colonizing the bridge went, it would still take a long time for these 100 man villages to grow in to anything worthwhile. Meanwhile, the embassy continued towards Panama, in hopes of meeting these rumored strangers.

January 11th, La Rochelle:

130 ships, with 4,000 soldiers and settlers will be heading to Canada to set up a French colony. The fur trade is booming on this area, and France intends to be the first European country to participate in the fur trade, while shipping back the fur to France and help the economy.

January 11-27st

Nova Scotia, Newfoundland:
The Soldiers arrive on the Canadian Islands to the East, and make colonies. Fur is already being shipped back to France, and timber is being used by the colonists. The French army is keen on keeping the possessions of France, and they won't let the area up easy. Life in the colonies are, relatively well, besides a few minor skirmishes just outside the colony, and to prevent this, fortifications are being built.

Vietnam:

10,000 troops are heading to Vietnam,
The French managed to land without making any suspicions, and took to Saigon to topple the government of that country. The small army of Vietnam made it easy to conquer, and troops moved into the main cities on tanks and planes. On January 27th, the Treaty of Saigon was established, giving the entire country of Vietnam to France. The soldiers raised the flag, and celebrated their victory.

January 27th, Tunis:

The Barbary States have surrendered the state of Tunisia, and they have signed a peace accord. Spain gets Tunisia, only if the Emperor is allowed to return, and King Carlos I has agreed. Peace is made, and the new colony will be used for further expansion on Africa.

Morocco:
Spanish settlers have pushed North, and all of Morocco is under Spanish control. The Conquistadors are becoming closer to finding the riches of Africa.

The diplomatic party came to a stop upon sight of the strange soldier. His uniform was unlike anything they had seen before, and he certainly had more advanced technology than the Nahuatl rifles. They looked at one another as he spoke in a strange tongue they did not understand, it was a soft language that was easy on their ears, but no matter how pleasant sounding it was, it did not give them any information on who the man was, or why he was there.

"Nōtōca Xichi a Mexica." declared the seeming leader of the group, as the man, Xichi, spoke, he waved his arms wildly and with exaggeration, as if simply talking was a kind of dance in itself. He wore a feathered headdress and a brightly colored green, yellow and red poncho that covered down to his abdomen. A white and green stripes loincloth surrounded his waist, and he wore no shoes. He would seem primitive were it not for the rifle in one of his companion's hands. He stood there for a moment, but upon realizing that the white man would not understand him, he reached into his leather satchel and pulled out a map.

The map was of central America, with lines showing the borders of the empire. Xichi pointed to the middle of his country, then to Panama, and finally, to the Spanish soldier. He shrugged, as if he were wondering who the man was, and why he had come.

One soldier walking noticed some natives, and motioned for the other soldiers to come forward. That one person walked, and asked in Spanish," Who are you?" and moved towards the strange people. He'd never seen people so dark, and never so calm, and was intrigued.

The soldier saw the map, and knew that must be where they are at. He only understood"Mexica", as it might be the lands the strange people came from. He looked at what they were wearing, no shoes, and brightly coloured clothing that barely convered his body. He then told the Spanish soldiers that there was no need for a fight, as the natives appeared friendly. The soldier pointed to the horizon, and asked where the city of riches must be.
