A camera is pointed at a speech booth as Matsumoto walks to it.

"Ladies and Gentleman, fellow Saxonians and Heads-of-State,

It has come to my knowledge that the Director General of the World Trade Organisation, Thomas Nassar, has been shot to death in the morning of the 6th of January. It is made known that one of the assailants was of Saxonian decent.

As a response to this I must make clear that neither I nor my government has had any involvement in this. I was consulting my advisers on membership of the WTO but I have decided that I must make clear that the assassination wasn't a attempt to rise to power. I therefor will request membership as an observer so that we don't run in the coming elections."

News reporters jumped up with a heap of questions. Matsumoto ushers them to silence so that he can continue.

"I further received knowledge of the invasion of Malta by Siverian forces. I condemn this actions as this invaded the sovereign lands of Malta. We ask that Siveria doesn't pursue this land grabbing as his nation is already of size and abundance.

I will make clear that the Saxonian armed forces will not interfere with foreign politics unless this is required for the safety of Saxonian land and people.

Again reporters jump of for questions but Matsumoto quickly leaves the stage for other matters.

Augusticinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Belmiro Saldanha, has recently stated that Augusticinian Merchant Ships in the Caribbean Sea have the right to arms during the current state of war. He stated that the arming was for defense and Augusticinia is still a neutral nation in the Siverian-Carriebean War. The Siverian-Carriebean Merchant Resolution was passed yesterday in parliament with 60% for and 40% against. Belmiro Saldanha also stated that Augusticinian ports are open to neither nation in this conflict. As Saldanha stated yesterday,"We will not maintain our neutrality by helping both, but by helping neither. They can solve this war themselves." Also a tragic event happened this morning as Augusticinian Defense Minister Emilio Macedo died. In two days Moroccan Immigrant Abdur Balach is to be tried in court for killing Macedo.

SPACE:

The Lunar Orbital Station was busier then usual, in addition to its permanent team of four astronauts, they had been joined by Raumgleiter's Dresden and Hamburg both carrying four astronauts each and loads to enter into Lunar orbit. Onboard Dresden was the Lunar Construction Robot and on board Hamburg the Lunar Living Modual. As the large craft made up docked together spacecraft came to the drop point, the robotic arms on both Gleiters lifted the crafts out, Dresden set its package fully extended outwards before releasing, the Hamburg doing the same. The two craft would land about 30 minutes later with the help of on board RCS modules gliding to land just 300 meters away from each other. Once the LCR unfolded its self, it would begin a slow drive to the LLM, where it would pave out the area around it with large mechanical brushes and then begin work to set up the Module for inheritance. Gleiter Königsberg would be the one to carry three astronauts who would begin life in the LLM, and prepare the area for an even large colony to be established in 2025.

The pub is fairly quite for work hours, yet service is quick and all seems to be fairly uplift in the pub. Sat in the corner are Gereal and Umuot, two military veterans from the 1992 Independence War.

"What do you think about all this talk of a so called 'Great war' Umuot?"
"It's the same old talk as usual, everyone starts blaming the WTO and other organizations and then there's one assassination and everyone thinks war is here"
"Don't it kinda of scare you that even we are starting to mobilize?"
"Our government being over dramatic and no good's gonna come from it"

The waiter walks over asking what they'd like to order, he takes their order for 2 standard beers and apologizes for interupting

"Like I was saying" Gereal continues "Just because a few WTO delegates have died doesn't mean the world is going to start some Third world war or something"
"I guess so" Umuot replies

Soon the drinks arrive and chatter changes towards home matters about family and such

Abdur Balach found Innocent

Immigrant Abdur Balach was charged with the murder of Emilio Macedo. After this court case Abdur Balach was declared innocent. The 26-year old Moroccan Immigrant said on the news,"I understand that I am a suspect but I promise you I didn't do it. I had no reason to kill Macedo." The trial took place at the Alvares 7th Degree Court in Lisbon. The 4-day trial was dominated by Abdur Balach's lawyer Gulater Neri. The judge was Killian Benneto. Now that Abdur Balach is declared innocent Augusticinian Detectives believe that the killer was probably a foreign agent or mercenary working for a foreign boss. Though since nobody can be identified during the assassination the case of Emilio Macedo has officialy been laid to rest.

Saldanha claims that neither side should be guilty for the loss but that this should be a time to increase aircraft communication laws due to the Saxon Aircraft not responding to the Carriebean Fighter Jet. Matsumoto reads the letter he recieved from TADA. His Chief-Advisors Richard van Dongen and Friedrich von Schweinbach stood waiting in the room.

He stratched is head and gives a stressed look. Then he flunks the letter into the air. "FINE! pffff I guess there is no other way around this but it smells fishy. Richard?"

"Yes Royal Highness"

"Tell them that we agree to meeting on neutral grounds. You will need to go there with a handpicked team to solve this."

"Yes sir. I do advise however that you should go there. I think they will appreciate it if the Head-of-State deals with this personally"

Friedrich interrupts Richard before he can say anything else.

"Are you out of your mind? We can't know if they are planning something. This might as well be a trap. I advise against this!"

Matsumoto thinks while taking a sip of his coffee.

"This how it's going to go: I will go there with Richard...under the protection of the 'Dukes'"

"You mean as a covert security detail? " Friedrich replies.

"Yes. I need a platoon of them to go with me. 1 or 2 fireteams for close protection and the rest for the perimeter, background checks of surrounding people and other matters. Do you think this will help?"

Friedrich smiles and bows "Most definitely Royal Highness. We'll use armored cars for transport and the 'Dukes' will have their usual equipment for the job"

"Good good. Make it happen"

Both Richard as Friedrich bow and speak in unison. "Yes Royal Highness!" They haste themselves out of Matsumoto's office to make arrangements.
