Assassinations are on the Rise says Analysts.

Last night an attempt was made on the life of Augusticinian Defense Minister, Agent Marshal Emilio Macedo, he was shot in the chest by a poison laced bullet in Lisbon. He was soon rescued by paramedics and is currently in the hospital. Doctors say that Macedo may not survive. The poison has caused kidney failure and abnormal mental side-affects. Forsenics teams are currently looking at the crime scene. Analysts claim, from analyzing major assassinations since 2020, that the number of major assassinations per year in on the rise. Detectives claim that the motive for the killing was to oppose plans to annex parts of Morocco due to instability. The main suspect is currently Moroccan Immigrant Abdur Baluch. The Emilio Macedo trial is to begin January 24th.

The Marines of the Siverian Army has landed on the small island of Malta, and has taken control due to the lack of defenses and no leader. It has been incorporated into Siveria.

A statement has been released by the Arkanan government.

The unprovoked aggression against the independent island nation of Malta is disturbing at best a crime at worst. Malta has done nothing to warrant the aggression shown by the so-called "Republic" of Siveria. The Arkanan government intends to make a formal complaint to the UN over Siveria's actions, and we hope that other nation's will support us in protesting such naked aggression against an upstanding member of the international community who has already endured enough past injustices from invading nations.

A recent referendum has taken place in Malta whether to join the Siverian Republic. In the referendum there were 3 options. One was to stay independent, one was to become a protectorate, and the last one was to become an official part of the Siverian Republic. During the few days of referendum many Maltese Politicians and Activists gave speeches for and against Siveria. Here were the Referendum Results:

Stay Independent- 62%

Protectorate- 34%

Pro-Siveria- 4%

The Siverian Navy will arrive in Carriebean to help the bombers fuck them up, and blockade them. In about 7 days

Due to events occurring within the Arkanan sphere of influence, we are regretfully unable to send a representative to the funeral due to security risks. We do, however, send our sincerest condolences for the loss of a leading member of your government.

The 1st Fleet has been placed on high alert due to the war which has started between Carriebean and Siveria. Based out of Norfolk, the 1st Fleet is moved south towards Miami. ETA 1d14h

The Navy has arrived along with the air force. The Jets have the latest in defensive and offensive Technology, has started to to enter Carriebean Air space and bombings will start shortly. The Navy is also ready to begin blockading the Carriebean ports.

The Navy has started to bombard the ports of Carriebean and shoot down fighters trying to take down Siverian Jets. The Bombers are doing good, but are getting picked off, the fighter jets are coming in to help.
