As the 87,000 or so men retreated to the former defense line, they resupplied, before they were quite honestly, told to attack the newly declared NPE territory and destroy the land. And they marched with 80 tanks, and air support if needed.

The Azens were busy doing 2 things in Yaneza: Defending it while abandoning it.

In a few hours, the Azens boarded the 1st trucks that would flee to the DMZ established by the Esgonians. They would be the 1st ones to see peace, to see their families and friends again.

But at the price of everything that they would leave behind for the enemy. Banshee was one of the 1st Azen troops to leave. And she was their commander.

As she boarded the last truck in the convoy, she looked to her fellow commmanders and to their troops. The commanders and their troops nodded to Banshee and The Banshee smiled and nodded.

The convoy began to move, the troops assigned to checking who was on board shouting

"ALL ABOARD! ALL ABOARD! LET'S GO!"

And soon...the trucks left Yaneza.

A telegram was transmitted to everyone

"The 1st group has left Yaneza. Do not attack Yaneza. Do not move in yet. We are evacuating."

"Ladies! The 1st group is on its way to the DMZ. The war is lost, no one will bring weapons, everybody must leave everything they do not need behind. Get ready to form the 2nd group." Said Commander Paladina as she checked on her own troops.

war is lost, country is lost, what will be lost next?

Walkure II DMZ, Western Azenyanistan

Pvt. Grinsburg: "Stop!"
The soldiers order the Azenyanistani trucks for inspection.
Pvt. Kaiser: "All passengers please step off the truck, the driver will stay if you wish to get your truck through the gate. All passengers, please proceed to the entrance for a brief inspection in the Metal Detectors and X-ray machines and also kindly give your weapons and gear to the security booth before proceeding."

As reports of the Azenyanistani defeat was spread, the 6th Army, returned from Kabul, were ordered to head to Yaneza to protect it from any enemy expansion.

Surprisingly, the Azens put their hands up and never put them down. Each and everyone of them had thousand yard stares and were unarmed. They only had their uniforms and personal belongings.

Defending and waiting in Yaneza were Azens who were preparing to leave for the DMZ.

DMZ Walkure II, Western Azenyanistan

After a quick run through the security checks and inspections, the girls were allowed in.
Inside, they were greeted by Azenyan civilians and Oasis.
A fountain was built at the square and the place in the DMZ ran like the old Middle East before the Taliban/Al Qaeda era.

In Yaneza, the 6th Army arrives, and informs the remaining Azen soldiers to get out ASAP as the Esgonian Ground Forces take positions and control the city.

The little girl ran into the arms of her mother, crying, shouting "Mama! Mama! Mama! Mama, you're alive! I missed you so much!!!!!"

The female soldier and mother also began to cry as she said to Oasis

"I am so sorry, dear, I am so sorry. I am so so sorry."

Mothers and sisters and daughters were reunited. But the 2nd and 3rd groups were not yet there.

DMZ Walkure II, Western Azenyanistan

More helicopters land at the DMZ with civilians, soldiers step out and began escorting them to the city in the DMZ. moments later 2 plane landed near by and groups of soldiers walked out with 5 tanks and a Recon Vehicle, As Rattean troops walked into the DMZ one of the commanders walked up to an officer in the DMZ and told him that they were there for extra protection and would leave anytime if needed

DMZ Walkure II, Western Azenyanistan

The captain saluted and thanked the Rattean commander, saying they will be needed as the rest of the forces advance through the country to retake abandoned Azenyanistani cities and positions to expand the DMZ in order to prevent the NPE/MDP's supposed expansion onto remaining Azen territory.
The soldiers in Yaneza denies the Azen soldier's request and orders them to leave immediately. Defending facilities of civilian, cultural, economical, and military importance were top priority in the area.

'Fuck the NPE' Defensive Line

The FDR Azenyanistan Garrison have been ordered to hold the defensive line in an effort to buy more time for the reinforcements to arrive. The long range guns were finally online, along with the majority of SAMs and AT positions. There were almost 500,000 soldiers stocking up food and ammo inside the supply bunkers to prepare for an extended siege.

Azen-Arabian Border

Azenyanistan surrendered to the NPE, but their allies? It was predictable that they stay and fight for them, Cirillians knew how stupid they were for fighting in a war that had no benefits to them. This war could affect Cirilla if NPE lost, but that was unlikely. The borders were now heavily fortified and trenches could be seen everywhere. 200,000 troops from Yemen headed toward the Azen-Arabian Border to and stay there till further orders. Artillery and Anti-Air regiments check their equipment, making sure everything was alright.

Yemen

The stealth bombers finally arrived, while the 225,000 troops were still sailing over here. General Ali Hussein Kadhim left his base to go with the other troops to the fortified borders. Civilians whispered rumors of war in Yemen while troops say goodbye to their loved ones.

"Cole, the FDR still wants to fight. The Azenyanis are surrendering, but those FDR troops have set up defensive positions. Fixed, defensive positions."
"They must not understand modern warfare, Kristov. We'll need to give them a demonstration."

The air groups of the carriers prepare for the operation to annihilate the FDR defensive line. Both Fleet carriers, and two of the four light carriers are directed to perform the attacks, while the remaining two light carriers are to perform operations in defense of the fleet. A total of 96 F/A-36 Corsairs and 72 F/A-46 Tempests are performing the air strikes. Each Corsair is carrying 2 1000 kg guided bombs, 4 Harrier air-to-ground missiles, and 4 Peregrine air-to-air missiles, and each Tempest is carrying 4 1000 kg guided bombs, 6 Harrier air-to-ground missiles, and 4 Peregrine AAMs.

The massive air attack force is launched, moving at high speed at high altitude, above the effective range of anti-aircraft guns. Their target is virtually anything of high military value on the FDR defensive line, artillery, SAMs, tanks, troop concentrations, bunkers, ammunition depots, supply depots, command centers, communication centers, and logistics units. A storm of bombs will fall on the line, and the aircraft will come in waves, organized to arrive around the clock, attacking and then rearming on the carriers in a cycle to maintain a constant hail of bombs and missiles.

The attack will be launched when Admiral Cole gives the order. Final preparations are being made. The FDR will see the folly of their tactics.

To: FDR Government
From: Cirillian Noble Council

We urge you to stand down with Azeyanistan and disassemble your defensive lines. With new gathered information, it seems you have been fortifying your defensive lines recently. This is an aggressive attempt to disrupt peace, we will intervene and undermine your communications if you continue to be in the way of peace. We wish to end this with no bloodshed, an unnecessary war is not good for everyone especially for you.

Yemen

50 of the stealth bombers were loaded with 64 1,000lbs bombs each, while 15 of them were equipped with 36 2,000lbs bombs each and the last ten were fitted with 20 large cruise missiles each to destroy any enemy positions. They waited for the word while in Cirilla the CMDS was alerted and started to activate their systems and tracked any aerial movement near them or space activity above them.

A telegram was dispatched by a young Azen child from the DMZ to the leaders of North Arkana, WPT, FDR and Cirillan and NPE and South Eaka and the rest of the occupying forces of the region

"Hello. My name is Kinarida and I am 11 years old. I have a lot of questions. I am sorry if I sound mean.

Why did you bomb Yaneza? Why are you here? Where are the others, are they living in your place? Why are you still fighting? Why am I not allowed to go back home to Mosul? Why can I not visit my friends there? Are they OK? There is a man who sells me toys and talks to me when I go to his shop, is he still there? And do you want to make us go away?

Please reply! Thank you!"

Admiral Cole gives the order, "Begin the attack now. Show them the Joint Mobile Fleet's power."

The air armada, ready to launch from carrier's decks, takes to the sky, climbing to altitude and forming up into 3 waves, each wave having 32 Corsairs and 24 Tempests. The timing are set so that while one wave is attacking, another will be in the air on the way, and the third will be at the carriers rearming and refueling. There will be no respite from the attacks for a full 24 hours. For 24 hours, bombs and missiles will rain on the FDR defensive line. The first priority targets are the air defense weapons. While obtaining a lock on the Corsairs and Tempests is virtually impossible, it will severely damage the enemy morale to see their SAMs getting bombed by aircraft they can't fire back at. All other targets will be attacked once the ADS are out of the way.

The bombs are set to start falling in two hours.

Telegram to Cirilla

We will not stand down when we are fighting to protect an ally, nor under your petty threats. Recent satellite images have shown you fortifying the borders in Saudi Arabia and mass troop movements. We request that you stand down yourself as any actions against us or our allies will be taken as an act of war.

Telegram to Kinarida

"Hello Kinarida. My name is Elizabeth, and I am the leader of the FDR. I do not know why Yaneza was bombed myself, but I assure you that we tried our best to protect the city. We are here because we do not want to see Azenyanistan cease to be a country due to the actions of foreign aggressors like the NPE. There are many Azenyanistanis living in our country, and they are treated well here I assure you. We fight on because the NPE wants only to take more of your land then they already have. Mosul is a city under NPE control, and you are lucky to have gotten out. I hope you will be able to go home soon, but I cannot promise anything. We would never want to make you go away, nor any of your friends or anyone from your country. We fight for you Kinarida, and we hope that won't change." Disclosed at the bottom of the telegram was a check for several hundred NSD dollars with the note attached "Here is some money for when you can finally go home and see that man in the toy store."

'Fuck the NPE' Defensive Line

The reinforcements of four divisions had finally arrived and had been transferred to the defensive line slowly by transport planes and helicopters. This brought the total amount of soldiers in the defensive line up to nearly 600,000. Meanwhile, the 1st and 3rd Fleet had regrouped with the 2nd Fleet offshore. The new commander of the Azenyanistan Garrison was Commander (now general) de Arc after the former general was killed in the bombing of Yaneza. Reinforcements had been dispatched from the home lands in the form of the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 9th Infantry Divisions, along with the 23rd, 26th, and 27th Armored Divisions. They were expected to arrive within the week and were escorted by the FNS Liberation Carrier Group.

As soon Yaneza was under control, other cities followed suit as the Esgonian Ground Forces covered the Azenyan's back. Within hours, 45% of Western Azenyanistan and 95% Afghanistan was soon under Esgonian control. While securing defensive lines, preparations to expand the DMZ were underway, with the help of Rattean and other Neutral forces. Sandbags, checkpoints, fences, barbed wire, and dedicated AT and AA positions were set up as fast as they can to prevent the enemy expansion further. They have created a sign in the entrances on the expanded DMZ, written.
"This area is now a Demilitarized Zone. Any acts of aggression will be dealt harshly."

As soon as the fighting had simmered, civilians were allowed in the expanded DMZ, others returning to their homes and businesses.

Many able Azens were doing many things. They split into groups.

One focused on rebuilding homes. Another on rebuilding businesses. Another on getting food. Another on growing food. Two groups went looking for vehicles and communications equipment. Three were looking for resources to scavenge. Seven groups went to join the Esgonian military and six groups volunteered to become workers for the expansion of the DMZ. Meanwhile Banshee made an announcement that would shake the Azens

"...Ladies...gentlemen...citizens of Azenyanistan...we have lost another war. It is over. Our allies continue to fight for us. But our war is lost. Much Azen blood has been spilled as well the blood of the foreigners. Our country, it seems, is gone. We are now refugees in our own land. We are at the mercy of the enemy. Azenyanistan surrenders."

She announced this via radio, TV and loudspeaker.
