"This works as a safety net, if our currency suffers a crisis you can still have your old one to fall onto, secondly not every nation is open to the idea of getting rid of there own currency so they can adopt it as secondary. And I don't see how this waste's exchange time at all? You don't have to worry about both currencies if they are both accepted in that nation you don't have to exchange the Royal for the other national currency. Therefore no time is even needed, and exchanging currencies is virtually gone."

It is a burden to some nations with the Royal and their currency between other nations and if they still have their old currency, there should be a policy that if there is a currency crisis then people have something to fall back on but before inter-regional exchange between product and money the nation giving the money should always be the one to exchange between currencies. This policy would expand on the one in place

Expand the policy to this, nations can keep their old currencies and the Royal but if there is a crisis then they have something to fall back on but for example, if I have my old currency, and you have yours, if I am giving you money for a product, the nation giving the money should exchange the currency to either the Royal or the other nation's own currency to keep things simple and less confusing.
