Story
In 1997, an unknown killer virus, dubbed "The Pandora Virus", has infected the small Sankian island called: Summers Island, turning people into savage animals and killing the host. The Sankian government cannot quarantine the virus because they have neither cure nor vaccine, so they decide to build a 60-foot containment wall around the island, isolating it from the rest of Sankji and the world, they also close the docks, airports and bridges, preventing it from spreading. The quarantine is deemed a success, with the rest of the island population dying off from the virus, in ensuring the safety of the rest of the Sankji population across the decades. 18 years after the quarantine, during a police raid in 2013, the police officers find several people infected with a similar Pandora Virus. Fearing that the virus has returned to the rest of Sankji, The Sankian government discovers news of survivors on Summers island largest city of: Turbac, during a reconnaissance flight over the area, and they believe a cure may exist there. They then order to send a multi-national team of highly trained special forces into Turbac to find medical researcher Dr. Robert Atkinson, who was working on a cure when the island was quarantined.

Setting
The Summers Island was once a vibrant and popular tourist destination. It is located in the Primarch Sea, a 150 kilometers from the Sankian coast, It is a small island in size with a population of 193,000 (1995 estimate). The largest and main city of the island: Turbac was once a beautiful city filled with tourist and renowned for it's many skyscrapers. Presently it's a ghost town, with no more people or tourists, much of the city has been damaged during the outbreak and has since believe to be completely abandoned. The once majestically city now been appear to be nothing more than a forgotten ruin as the vegetation has begun taking back the city, with vines covering most of the buildings.
Hostiles
Several reports suggest that the team could encounter two types of enemies, The Infected and The Survivors.
The Infected are tuned by the Pandora virus into savage animals, without any remorse, emotions or memories of their past lives. The appear to be mindless and cannot preform basic task such as climbing a ladder or opening a door. The Infected can run but are still relatively slow compared to ordinary humans. The infected most dangerous in large groups and will attack any living creature on sight. They are mostly drawn to sound and appear to be most active at night. The infected can be easily recognized due to their grey skin and bright yellow eyes which are a symptom off the Pandora virus. Their numbers are believed to be in the tens of thousands.
The Survivors are the former inhabitants of the islands which have been left behind after the quarantine. After years of isolation in a dangerous landscape they themselves have become hostile and unpredictable. During the outbreak all trade with the island was cut off resulting in a massive food shortage, resulting in many of the survivors resorting to cannibalism. They are believed to have only a limited amount of firearms and will mostly use primitive weapons such as spears or axes. Their numbers are believed to be in around a few hundred.

His research lab was a state of the art facility for its time, it has his own power source and is completely impenetrable from the outside. Dr. Atkinson was believed to be death for a long time but new reports have indicated that his research facility remains operational. Dr. Robert Atkinson is described as a tall and thin man from African decent with black hair (possible that his hair is now grey) and brown eyes, he has a distinctive scar on his left cheek and he is 79 years of age. The state of the physical and mental health of Dr. Atkinson is unknown at this time.

A small multi-national team will land on the shores of Summer Island in the middle of the night for their they will move towards the city of Turbac, to find a cure and Dr. Atkinson, they will be send in with no backup or no way of leaving without a cure. They will travel in two modified MV-05 Mecury vehicles, both equipped with a .50 cal M2 Browning Machine Gun which are able to carry 8 operatives each. Once the cure has been found than air and naval support will be available but until that time they will be on their own.
