After a brief meeting amongst the leaders in the government of Praise The Sun, Gwynevere has decided that Praise The Sun shall enter the War of Nadeyatsya as a neutral nation devoted to providing aid to countries who suffer in the war and to provide aid to those who are wounded on the battlefields. Praise The Sun will also serve as a haven for those seeking to avoid the war, accepting and housing as many refugees as possible and providing care for them until it is safe to return to their place of origin; or in the case of their place of origin is rendered uninhabitable, will attempt to create an environment that is safe for them to live as long as necessary to rebuild or relocate to a new location.

Unfortunately there is a small, but vocal, faction in Anor Londo's government that seeks to prevent aid from being sent to any nations and prevent it from entering the war altogether.

Whats your thought on the situation? On one hand i cant leave Hesperia alone, and Sidas refuses to sail back. But while our forces may have time to reach to capital, i fear many other islands will be taken, and that the army protecting their capital. Of course we could send our Special Corps of Veterans, and the foreign legion.

Actually the foreign legion migh be a good idea. Fighting under a monarch has really increased their morale. If they fight under me in their Homeland! i think they will fight like psychopaths. Besides the new weapons they have been provided sure would help the rest of the garrison in the capital, and boost the morale.

I suggest we send an expeditionary force to the capital and have them fight to all civilians, and national Hesperian treasures have been shipped to chernarus or petrokovia.

"Who do they think they're fooling? They're backed into a corner and trying to scare us with words! Even now we advance on their capital, and the chance of their allies reaching them in time is nil. They have refused our offer of peace in exchange for neutrality - The offer was far too kind in the first place. From now on, I remove all restriction unfairly imposed on our troops - Civilians are now legitimate targets, scorched earth tactics are authorized, and officers have the right to execute soldiers who surrender instead of taking them prisoner - Prisoners are a drain on our resources, anyway. Men and women of our nation, go forth! Crush these pathetic bastards and show them that we will not tolerate attacks on our friends and allies! For Ukranas! For Glory!"

Ukranasian soldiers have begun executing civilians who do not surrender immediately as well as destroying any supplies they come across - Military and otherwise.

As the usual meeting of the month between the collective of advisers, the senators and Imperator Claudius Avitus himself was coming to an end, a messenger came barging in past the guards and though the large wooden doors of the meeting hall and ran straight towards Imperator Claudius. There was a sudden silence throughout the room; as clearly whatever the messenger had to say was going to be important,and the most important affairs are usually directed straight to Claudius himself.The messenger whispered into Claudius's ear that a grave matter was abound. Ukranas, one of Templareroeras' dearest allies, requested assistance in an international incident currently developing. Claudius stood up and bellowed; ''senators and advisers,we have been requested by one of our closest allies to support them in a war...now i know this is quite a large matter, but we have close ties to our neighbor, owing to the fact that we are both members of the IFCC, in addition to not forgetting the significance of the political and economic benefits which we jointly incur from our relationship. I ask you now for you to stand with me..for us... to defend our allies, our rights, and to ensure our need be our own sovereign state free from the influence of the enemies that plan insidious acts against us and our allies. We must also understand that if we do not act decisively in this matter, it may cause our downfall. As such, i ask you support me wholeheartedly in this endeavor and whatever may follow from it.'' it took a few minutes for the profound implications of this speech to proceed through their minds. Slowly, they began to stand up, and that is when Claudius knew that we were ready for war. Claudius sent the messenger back to Ukranas with a short and sharp answer. It read.'' We are ready''

Exaequatio begins mobilizing 500,000 troops and 1,500 tanks to begin the invasion of Ukranas. It will also be deploying two naval fleets, and fifteen air force wings and 1,000 drones. This will be a coordinated invasion between Exaequatio and fellow MATO member and Ukranas neighbor, Zambora. Exaequatio also invites any other alliance nation to join the invasion. Its goal is to completely capture the capital and force Ukranas to capitulate, which have so far been the only aggressors in the war.

We are invading your ally Ukranas. Quite frankly, I am surprised that, especially Nickel and ACOC, are supporting a radical terrorist nation. I know that you all border my country, but, as I assume you know, it has been heavily fortified over the years and we are ready for any retaliation you might attempt.

In case of retaliation, curfew has been ordered in North Exaequatio. Missile and anti aircraft defense systems are put on high alert. They have been ordered to destroy any unauthorized aircraft that enters Exaequation airspace, no questions asked.

[Petrokovia]

Premier Daniel Petit stands outside at a podium in Krasnograd, giving a speech broadcast not only to all citizens of the USSP, but to all nations around the world (aside from Inprobus, since they would surely censor it).

"Comrades! Not too long ago, I received word that the Fascists of Ukranas have attacked our ally, the Hesperian Federation, that is located right by our coasts. They have committed many war crimes, killing many civilians. They have all but wiped out our ally in less than a week. We will go over there, and crush them! We will not return until they end the war! We will not return until Hesperia is safe! We will not return until the IAIN wins! We will not return until we've crushed those Fascist shitbags under out heel and grind them like a spent cigarette! We will show them what they have done. We will show them what imperialists get when they threaten the Motherland and its allies! We will show them no mercy! We will show them what they deserve. Let our wrath crash over as a wave, and kill the oppressors, the rapists, thieves, murderers, and the torturers of the masses. Their leader will wish for something as sweet as death."

The hour the speech was broadcast, 2 Naval Squadrons, 5 Red Army Infantry Divisions, 5 Red Army Armored Divisions, and 2 Air Force Wings made their way to fight back in the Hesperian Federation. It was very clear to all that Petrokovia was at war, at it was determined not only to defend Hesperia, but to march in the capital of Ukranas.

"You waltz into my palace acting like you own the place and then inform me that you will be going against my wishes? Do you dislike being Prime Minister Mr. Bonhomme? "Your Majesty, as a member nation of MATO we are obligated to join in the war now that Hisperia has been invaded. I have received a message from our colleagues in Exaequatio. They are planning an attack on Ukranus at this very moment, and they are seeking our assistance. I would not be moving the proposal forward to the National Assembly if I didn't think that our participation in the war was inevitable. I am just as apposed to joining as you are." Christophe stopped speaking, waiting to see what his Queen had to say.

"I do not like this, Bonhomme, not one bit."

"I know, Your Majesty, but I would like your blessing when I move forward with this. If you were to call an emergency meeting of parliament this could all be done within a few hours."

Alexandrie sighed. "Fine. You have my blessing. I shall call an emergency meeting at once."

"Thank you, Your Majesty."

Hermine De La Fontaine, Speaker of the National Assembly, slammed her gavel down on the polished wooden podium before her. The assortment of 450 MPs settled down into their seats, awaiting the results of the vote to formally declare war on Ukranus. "With the votes tallied the declaration is passed, 305 Ayes to 139 Nays with six abstentions." The chamber was silent. "As of today, Zambora has officially declared war on the Sovereign Empire of Ukranas. May God have mercy on their souls and may He bless our brave men and women as they set forth to destroy the evil menace that is Ukranus."

At the moment she announced the passage of the declaration, the Queen, from her vacation palace in Heidelberg, directed an assortment of two million troops to converge on the Zambora-Ukranus border, with many more soldiers in tow. She would take no chances when it came to defending her homeland and destroying theirs.

That is bad enough on its own, but shooting missiles into their territory (even by accident) is still worse. Now since I believe it was an accident I would have issued a public apology and maybe give them some money. However you have taken the wrong road and have issued a declaration of war against my ally, that mistake I'm afraid can not go unpunished. Any way waiting for this we have mobilized two million soldiers of which 1,168,000 are directed against you with about 250,000 more along the way. Since I'm a nice guy [I]if[/I] you end your war against Ukranas I will personally see Ukranas end their invasion of Foederatio Hesperiae.

Before they could continue the meeting further, a Chernarussian officer rushed in, jabbering phrases in Russian towards Packevich. As he turned towards the rest, he could barely contain his relief, "Petrovokia has officially joined the war against the Coalition, in light of the invasion of Hesperia by Ukranas. Zamboru has also joined. In addition to this, I have been hearing that Exaequatio is planning an invasion of Ukranas. Is this correct?" Packevich asked Joe Schmoe. Packevich and the Minister were mostly relieved by the fact that Petrovokia had joined against the Coalition - Hesperia and Chernarus had been on rather tense relations, due to the fact that they supported ArmaSimplex against Chernarussian "aggression." However, with the Armistice Agreement, all of that had been swept under the rug, with Chernarus promising to send 50,000 Naval infantry for a landing to attack the Ukranesian forces. However, with Petrovokian entry in the war, this was no longer necessary.

Mobilization in Chernarus

Out of some 1 million reserves at the start of the war, 300,000 had already been called up, which, added to the number of active troops before the war, made a total of 1.8 active; 100,000 of these troops were being deployed in Sjealand, and with the Agreement, this freed up over 150,000 troops, part of the troops which would be sent to Sjealand. In addition, 25,000 more troops would be deployed in Karamay to sweep away the remnants of the insurgency there. As for the Navy, the majority of the fleets had already begun the process of mobilization; 2 carriers were guarding Sjealand, while the rest 3 were in the ports. In 2 weeks they would be ready to meet any hostile force that tried to go into the Allied seas. In addition, conscription aimed to increase the 2.8 million troops to nearly 3 million.

"Yes of course we are! And its about time we did something!" Shmoe said as he took another drink of bourbon. He then lost his balance. His assistant, who was a Major in the Army, put her hand on his shoulder to give him balance.
"Indeed, our nation along with Zambora, is preparing to invade Ukranas. It is expected to be an overwhelming victory. Unfortunately, the Nickel Empire is threatening to attack Exaequatio. We are prepared to defend against them... in fact we have been preparing for this for years. We are confident that we will repel the Nickel forces. Especially since we are a member of the Democratic Alliance, the Nickel Empire will be literally inviting Petrokovia to attack them." The major said as she let go of Shmoe's shoulder.

You make it sound like we were asking for war. Nations go near each other's borders all the time. The bottom line is that Ukranas overreacted. And it was unlikely that Ukranas would have accepted an "apology." They are militaristic and evil. You are misguided for blindly following them. You are playing with fire. I consider our two nations to have good relations in the past, and only hope that you do not get burnt while you play with this Ukranas flame. Either way, it is up to Exaequatio, the IAIN, MATO, Chernarus, and now Petrokovia to put out this fire- it has been burning for far too long.

Komarek barged in, yet again waving papers around frantically. Vasily Żuraw actually did fall off his chair this time, as a swarm of yelling government officers stampeded into the room. Vasily quickly recovered and got to his feet again, roaring "What the hell do you want!?"
Everyone went silent as Komarek thrust the papers at him. "Sir, Hesperia is taken! We have won the campaign!"

"Well that's wonderful news, but it's not that important. We knew we were going to win from the start!"

Komarek gulped. "Well sir, we've got some other news as well. Very bad news. Exaequatio, Petrokovia, Soviet Chernarus and some other minor nation who I don't remember are all preparing for a joint invasion of Ukranas! We must withdraw all of our men to defend the homeland immediately!"

The General froze, unmoving and unblinking. He sat there, doing nothing, for almost ten minutes. The members of government knew he was already devising an unstoppable plan that would drive back the united force with ease, leading them to a historical victory. After 15 minutes of nothing happening, the General breathed in heavily. Everyone paused, waiting to hear what fantastic wisdom their omniscient leader would bestow upon them. The General opened his mouth to speak.

"FUCKING SHIT DOG FUCKER BASTARD FUCKS, THEY JUST HAD TO MINCE THE FUCKING HOG WHOLE, DIDN'T THEY? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, I DON'T KNOW WHY I PUT UP WITH THIS BULLSHIT WORLD WHERE THESE BASTARDS CONTROL THE FUCKING PLANET AND CLAIM THEMSELVES AS HEROES FOR ELIMINATING ANY ANTI-SOCIALIST IDEOLOGIES! FUCK, IF I HAD THAT FUCKING PREMIER IN MY HANDS RIGHT NOW I'D WRING HIS NECK AND HANG HIM FROM THE YARDARM, THAT FUCKING COMMUNIST PIG FUCKER! The General threw his favourite hat to the ground and jumped up and down on it while everyone stared. This was playing out exactly like a scene from Upadek. They watched as Vasily visibly calmed himself down, injecting a mild sedative into his arm.

"Alright, alright. We can still win this. Contact Eichmann, Dimes and Kenway at once and tell them we need their help. Withdraw all our men from Hesperia and bring them back home ASAP, and make sure they destroy everything they find on the way. The first one to reach us will be that Zamborus or whatever - They shouldn't pose too much of a threat. The Exaequatians have a ridiculous military, so I doubt we can hold them off for long, and as for Petrokovia, they're probably going to be employing their tried and true "human wave" tactic. Evacuate all military personnel to the capital, arm all the civilians in outlying cities and put mines on every conceivable route to us. Ukranas will never be defeated, not as long as I draw breath!"

I suspected something like this would happen. Ill have a million men within your borders in days, along with our finest weapons and vehicles.

[Petrokovia]

Petrokovian ships make their way to Ukranasian waters, with an ETA of 4 days. They are loaded with various extra cargo trucks, with various recoil-less rifles, extra howitzers, and heavy mortars. Also, among the forces are new Petrokovian jeeps, including the Infantry Support Jeep, the Infantry Assault Jeep, and the Tachanka Jeep.

Ukranasian Southern Coast; Nighttime.

The Petrokovian 1st Red Army Spetsnaz Infantry Division, known as the most highly trained soldiers in all of Petrokovia, and easily some of the best troops in the entire world, fly high in the air courtesy of dropships, with EW planes flying nearby to disrupt radar, making it look like there was nothing in the air. A single stealth fighter with direct communications to ground-based command flies in the center.
In the plane, a red light comes on. A man in the back stands up, and the rest of the troops stand from their chairs.
"Безопасный механизм!"
The troops put on their gear and parachutes.

Any troops not already wearing their helmets place them on their heads and buckle them, making sure the night/heat vision gear, lights, and communications gear on them were all secure.

The troops strap their AK-103 rifles down on their tactical vests, so as not to lose them mid-drop.

The soldiers give a mild "hu-ah", and the troops in the back start the call. They pat the troop in front of them on the soldier, yelling "Good to go", and this goes down the line until it gets to the troops in the front of the lines, who yell out "All clear."
The man in the back calls to the pilot over a comm system, who gives the all-clear to the stealth fighter. Once they get an all clear from all planes, they radio back to command for confirmation. As soon as they get it, they radio back to the other planes. After two minutes of waiting for the troops, the red light turns yellow. As soon as the planes get over land, it turns green.
The rear door opens, and the man in the back holds onto the hand rail, and yells.
"Зеленый свет! Иди, иди, иди!"
The door opens, and the troops rush out, parachuting down to the ground, not far from the shore. Not far after them are planes with vehicles and small cannons. The troops get to work, their mission being to create a safe zone for the landing of the huge forces coming in by ship.

[Exaequatio]

The naval fleets have reached the coast of Ukranas. They await for Petrokovia and Exaequatio forces to establish safe zones. As per usual policy, Exaequatio has begun launching anti-satellite missiles at orbiting Ukranas satellites. The Macaw I41-A all weather stealth tactical fighter is deployed and provides support for oncoming paratroopers who establish several beachheads on the coastline. The Navy begins to deploy the troops and they unload the CRN-185 and 2A7 leapard main battle tanks. Various IFV's as well as the new Oshkosh TerraMax UGV -an autonomous mine sweeper vehicle- is for the first time deployed on the battle field. These vehicles lead the way as tanks, IVF's, and support vehicles follow behind. The orders are to subdue anyone who resists "by any means."

The B-07 Greybird Bomber as well as the massive amount of drones are prepared and will begin making bombing runs on enemy cities. HJ-9 Anti-tank missile carriers and unmanned missile carriers such as the SAMLV768 are unloaded from the ships, and the remote operated Armed Assault MicroTanks provide support for the advancing Exaequation army.

The invaders were withdrawing to the coast for their immediate evacuation, and the soldiers had been ordered to harass their retreat so as to prevent their deployment against Exaequatio and Petrokovia. To get to the coastline, the Ukranasian forces had to first navigate the high mountain passes in the center of the islands.

There were seventeen men at the top of the ridge, and many more on the slope, each armed with Barrett M82 and waiting for the retreating Ukranasians to appear in the valley below. As the rumbling of tanks drew nearer, six other soldiers arrived and prepared two mortars to be ready for combat.

Finally, the convoy appeared, a lion of two tanks and four personnel trucks following. Without warning, three grenades landed near the convoy, exploding, before the riflemen opened fire. Men leaped out of the trucks to fire back, but they were mowed down. One truck exploded as a mortar shell landed on it. Another shell landed on the first tank, damaging it but not incapacitating it. The convoy couldn’t last, however, and within several minutes nothing remained but burning wreckage.

These guerrilla attacks were happening all over Hesperia, wreaking havoc on the invading forces.

OOC: You didn't shatter them completely, and besides, many deserted and probably regrouped in the woods. And they are joined by the resistance. Kind of like how Iraq crushed Kuwait in 1990, but the Kuwaiti forces still used guerrilla tactics to harass Iraqi forces pending the coalition attack.
