Gods without Mercy(Non-Cannon, GD or invite Only)

Postby Mokastana » Sat May 02, 2015 6:38 pm

No one would have believed near the dawn of the 21st century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by a intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacency men went to and fro over this globe about their little affairs, serene in their assurance of their empire over matter. It is possible that the infusoria under the microscope do the same. No one gave a thought to the older worlds of space as sources of human danger, or thought of them only to dismiss the idea of life upon them as impossible or improbable. It is curious to recall some of the mental habits of those departed days. Yet across the gulf of space, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us.

Normany Mountain
MOPAD Secondary Headquaters
Wellovia, People's Unified Federation

"FEM Zorya Vechernyaya requesting clearance for take off"

"Rosewell Space Station Confirms launch is clear."

"Juventud Island Confirms launch is clear."

Air Commodore Joseph Madrid scanned the consoles and screens across the Command Room nearly two kilometers underneath the stone mountains, which served as a secondary Command Center to Juventud Island's immense military complex. In the event of Nuclear war, this room would stay in contact with Juventud's Command Center sealed under the Mar del Moka thousands of kilometers away. This way one central command could be losts, and the Federal retaliation could still be coordinated with ease. For the moment, they only served to manage aerospace control and Defense of the Federation, from exciting times of unknown aircraft entering Federal airspace to the routine supply trips to the Space stations. Today was merely the latter.

No known or traceable objects were heading in the direction of the flight path of the Zorya Vechernyaya. No major threats or unknown launches from nations nearby Rosewell were happening, so by all accounts she appeared clear to launch...

"Normandy Mountain Confirms launch is clear."

"Copy that, this is Rosewell Space Center, confirming all clear."

"Copy that Rosewell, This is Zorya Vechernyaya, ready for take off."

"Copy that Zorya Vech, Take off in 10.....9.....8...."

Joseph watched on the screen as the countdown continued in the air, satellite feed focused on the Zorya Vechernyaya as her engines began to bellow smoke and fire, the transport preparing to defy gravity and race towards the sky. In a smaller screen off to the side of the main show, a curious spectacle of unknown items many AUs away were being tracked by satellites who obeyed the rules of a computer who found them worth mentioning. The computers had studied the incoming objects for some time, calculating trajectory and probably paths. It was only when the items deviated from those paths multiple times did alarms begin to go off in the system. As such they were highlighted and transmitted to the main screen, as an anomaly that warranted attention. No doubt many other nations around the world noticed these objects as well, if not for their unusual travel patterns then the fact the recalculations kept getting them passing closer and closer to Earth.

Joseph pulled the objects up on his personnel screen, allowing the staff and others to remain focused on the flight of the Zorya Vech... The unusual objects seemed harmless for now, but his job was not to ignore the seemingly harmless. A few emails were sent out to some of his better scientific and military staff too investigate these items further, before turning his attention back to the rocket in the North Mejican Desert, finally taking off towards the sky.

Welcome back Captain. The Interceptor is coming out of its hyper jump and is preparing to come out in what is known as the Solar System. Observation, there are eight planets including numerous moons orbiting them, however, there appears to be only one planet that is inhabited by its indigenous species.

“Analyse habitable planet,” the Ship’s Captain stated with a growl.

Analyse completed. The indigenous species is known as Earthlings or Humans, they number in the tens of billions, they inhabit the planet and their military is vast. However, history has indicated vast conflicts between the Humans has caused them to split. Either by religion, ideology, principles or mere hatred to another faction. They identify themselves by nations, religion and/or ideology.

“Calculate chances of success,”

Calculating all possibilities…

Warning! Nuclear, chemical and biological attacks are possible.

Completed. Chances of success with current squadron strength is 73.9%. Chances of success with the fleets is 95%. Warning, human’s process a stubbornness not found in other species. However, we can achieve success by our superior forces and strategy. Recommendation, begin fear and terror tactics. Observation, the fleet will arrive in seven rotations of the sun.

“Thank you Eli,” the ship’s captain stated. “Bring us behind the 4th Planet (Mars) to hide our presence. Prepare for Scout Master Lunar to prepare for departure,”

As you wish Captain.

The Ship’s Captain or Ship’s Master was a Messorem. He stood 7 foot 4 and to the Human Race we would appear as the Grim Reaper. The mythology of the Grim Reaper came when a Messorem came to Earth sometime in the early 900’s and became a myth thanks to the Catholic Church. It would appear randomly to take people close to death. The mythology stated he took them from life to death to the afterlife. What no-one knew, it was experimenting on the Human Race. From its experiments, it forged a number of mythology creatures including vampires and zombies but they could never survive either thanks to the environment or the overzealous religious groups that murdered them.

It isn’t known what happened to the Messorem but it’s recorded it survived sometime into the 13th century when it died in battle. At the time, the religious group had burned the body believing they had killed a demon. Unknown, they killed a Messorem and merely postponed first contact until the 21st Century.

Much like the mythology, the Messorem has no physical body but are trapped within their Grim Reaper style clothing. Unlike the mythology, their clothing is armoured, they process toxins that upon first touch, can kill a Human within 30 seconds hence the gloves they wear, and they do process plasma rifles. However, Messorem’s are rarely seen on the battlefield and when they are, they are generally the General of the Army. When engaging a Messorem, they are reported to be terrifying as they screech terror into their opponents often sending them insane. However, they are slow to growth and reproduction and it is estimated their population is around 2 billion.

When the Ship’s Captain walked through the bridge, there was the notice of colour. Unlike the Humans, the Messorem rank is determined by colour. Silver indicates the Messorem is a Ship’s Captain or a Human Squadron Commander. Red indicates the Messorem is a Commander and can be the First Mate of a ship. Brown indicates the Messorem is a Lieutenant and is the most common colour found in the ship, however a plain Brown is a Ship’s Lieutenant, but a Brown and three strips of black indicates the Messorem is an army lieutenant and commands a platoon size. Purple, indicates the Messorem is a Fleet Commander.

This Ship’s Captain is known as Warrior. He had earn his rank through the previous campaigns against other species and rebellions that have occurred ever since the Alliance was formed. The Alliance was a collection of species that were conquered, worshipped or submitted to the Messorems. There had being a number of rebellions in the past, but are the present time, they were more united compared to the Human Race. Now, they were keen to harvest the Human Race for food, resources and slaves.

Warrior made his way through the Tiger Class frigate, until he found himself in the war room where he looked about at his sub-commanders. When he arrived, he was in the middle of the war room where a hologram of Earth was produced with the locations of nations, major population centres, military installations, locations of food and water, and locations of various resources. There were three of the six species that were in the Alliance besides the Messorem’s.

To his left was Colonel Ash-Eye Dog, he was a Satyr or as the Humans would call him, a Goatman but unlike the mythology, he had the appearance of a goat standing on two legs and what could be a Human brain that allowed him to think and speak to others. Then there was Colonel Nabuzal, an intelligent Canis Lupus, or a werewolf by Human, which is the lower evolvement of the Messorem. He was fierce and often ruthless in taking the lives of those that would face him. Between the Canis Lupus and the Satyr, they mainly flew the fighters, bombers, tanks and any other vehicle including starships. Then finally there was Master (Major) Ibabuhr. Ibabuhr is a Metuo or as it’s found in Urban Legends, the Rake. It had the resemblance of a hairless human-like creature but it was the source of nightmares. Because of their horror and terror tactics, they formed the bulk of the Special Forces of the Alliance. They used knives, and plasma crossbows to silently kill their prey.

“In three rotations of the local sun, the armada will be arriving. Until then, we are to terrify the local population found on Earth. At this moment, we cannot inflict a full scale invasion of the planet,” Warrior dictated to the officers in the room. “Our first step is to observe them closer. Intelligence has discovered a vast military installation here. We suspect they are launching some form of primitive spacecraft to this orbiting station here,” Warrior had pointed out what was known MOPAD Secondary HQ and then the shuttle being launched to resupply the space station.

“Is…it…armed…?” Isbabuhr asked him.

“We don’t suspect so but expect some form of resistance from it,” Warrior answered him.

“What…is our primary objective my lord?” Ash-Eye Dog asked him.

“Protocol First Contact,” Warrior Ordered.

The squadron consisted of one carrier, one Hive Mind, two Tiger Class cruiser, 4 Viper Class Frigate and numerous troop transporters. Breaking their position, they moved from the safety of Mars and travelled quickly towards Earth. They knew they would come up on the Earth’s radar, they knew they would be detected but they were going to inflict fear. Terrorise the planet and await for the fleet to arrive. The Interceptor broke formation as it begins to hijack the communications across the world.

Regardless of what channel it was, regardless of what program is being shown, the televisions and all forms of communications begin to project static. As people try to change channels, they were met with static and regardless of what they did, nothing happened for ten seconds. Then, it changed. The camera was watching a Rake or what the humans would think to be a skinless human being sitting on the edge of the bed. In the background, the sound of the dripping sound with 1 second between drips could be heard.

The camera focuses on the Rake creature as it slowly turns it head to face the camera. Its eyes were widen and blood red and around its mouth, it had flesh and blood coming from its jaw. It takes a few seconds as the sound of footsteps is added to the noise of something moving about. Occasionally, a tail with a spear head on its end could be seen.

“Taps isn’t the only thing that drips,” its English is perfect as the camera goes to a wide view. On the left hand side is the Rake creature, in the centre is a naked male human being that is hanging by the neck by what appears to be a butcher’s hook. To the right is the alien known as Advena or as the Humans would come to fear, a Xeno. It was the perfect hunter and it feeds off its victims greedily often not allowing others to feed. However, on this rare occasion, as the Advena ate a chunk from side of the Human being before the pair produced a terrifying screech and the feed ended. The channels returned to their normal programming.

Meanwhile, the squadron moved over to where the shuttle was launching and the carrier produced a high energy beam. However, it wasn’t meant to destroy anything. The beam came straight down onto the shuttle as it engulfed and blinded the pilots and anyone else that tried to look at it. The beam was used to take the Humans on board the prison freighter. Those that weren’t blinded by the sheer light, saw they were on a spiders web and their limbs bound to something that was stronger than steel. Then, they would see a Succo or a tarantula about the size of a small car venture over to them. It would scream at them first and then stand watch over them before an Advena arrived to view what they captured.

After the beam was finished, the squadron moved away from Earth’s orbit and made sure it was watching the reaction of the Earthlings. At the same time, they were watching for communications and then move out of reach of any rescue attempt in order to study what they have captured.

OCC:

In my Factbook, I have two posts under the heading of First Contact. I’ve got pictures of what the species are being used including a brief rundown of what ship’s I’ll be using. I’m still working on the air force and ground force that is yet to be used. The three days rotation can be discussed later but it’s mainly to give everyone a time to say hello and produce a background of the encounter.

I'm still working on the backgrounds of the species and their role in the Alliance.

OOC: So I wanted to place Katy Perry's "Prismatic" on the evening after the 13th CSF disappeared like nothing.

IC:
Triple Isles-Isla de Uno
Captain Joemar Lopez, ENV Halcyon

One of the most dominant vessels in the 13th Carrier Strike Flotilla, aside from the sole Reizl-class arsenal ship (ENV Zenobia) and the Diamond Perri-class supercarrier (ENV Karlos Gurrea), was the Juggernaut-II-class destroyer ENV Halcyon-but it was made the average ship as there was another one.

As Captain Lopez walked down the halls of the vessel, his boots made a signature "clung clang clung" as his boots touched the metal. There was no space in expenses for a ship with carpeted floors-this is a destroyer, not a luxury cruise liner. No jacuzzis, just concealed bathing stalls. But of course the sailors weren't left to their own devices when it came to the screening of the fight of the century-Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. The world stopped rotating. The mess hall was filled to the brim with fans of both Pacman and Mayweather, even Captain Lopez himself. There were many TV sets all over the mess hall, showing the same thing: the "Battle For Greatness". Many booed at Pacquiao's loss and Mayweahter's win, remarking Mayweahter as a "runaway", whatever.

Before the MayPac bout ended...

"Yeahh!! Pacquiao!!"

"Mayweather! Beat the Pacman!"

"Beat the May weather! Show him more, Pacman! Shove him into the canvas!"
-this was the scene Captain Lopez walked into when he was to eat dinner at the mess hall. For once the vessel was divided between two gladiators, two champions, battling it out for the "Fight of the Era". Better yet the entire navy-no the entire world was divided in a fight between two fighters.

Little did they know...the fight was to be cut short. It was round nine, and the sailors can't suppress the adrenaline. That was until static can be heard and seen and replaced the adrenaline-pumping fight.

"Captain? Good to see you. Good evening, sir." a sailor said.

"Good evening to you too. So..." Captain Lopez charged his voice for a louder wail: "Where are the communications crewmen? Get the fight back!"-he shouted.

The TV showed not the MayPac fight, but a skinless human sitting on the edge of...a bed? It was accompanied with drips 1 second apart.

It focus on the creature as it slowly turned its head to face the viewer.

"Aw, come on, we're watching a fight, what's with an abandoned remote mental asylum that some dumb bloke-"

"Shut up!" Captain Lopez interrupted the irritated crew member.

The creature widened and were blood red, with blood also around its mouth. Flesh and blood jutted out from the jaw. Then, footsteps. The creature swung its tail, with the spear-shaped tip occasionally getting seen.

"Taps isn't the only thing that drips," the camera then widened. The center was dominated by a human being hanging by the neck, by what appears to be a butcher's hook. A creature to the right occasionally ate a chunk of the Human before the pair produced a screech and the feed ending. It was round ten.

"Really, Admiral Spader? Is this the daily "mental conditioning"?" said a more hard-looking guy who looked like Floyd Mayweather Jr. himself.

The crowd was helping up a few those who collapsed from extreme heart attacks. The crowd was divided between two things-the bout, and the medically injured, as the light-hearted fainted to the ground with a pool of sweat dominating their bodies. Some of the crowd were cheering for Pacman, others for Floyd, while medical officers screamed orders, with Captain Lopez overseeing the entire situation.

Lunar Operations Command, Castillian Lunar Base 01, Luna (The Moon)

The main command room of the Lunar Operations Command was extremely advanced in the terms of technology and also in aesthetics. It resembled something out of a science-fiction film, white polished walls with colorful buttons and control modules. In the center of the room sat a large table on which built into it was a monitor which depicted a map of the solar system, with various blue dots orbiting around Earth depicting Castillian space stations, and orange dots displaying Castillian spaceflights either going to and from the moon to space stations, or from Earth to the space stations. Some were further out, representing exploring probes and spacecraft sent to investigate further into the deep void of space.

However, occasionally red blips would appear on the map, indicating possible threats. Most of the time, it was space junk, and the National Space Authority would either use thrusters to adjust whatever the junk was poised to hit, or call the Air Force to authorize blowing it into pieces with missiles. There was another time however, when the Imbrinium military used anti-satellite missiles to attack Haize satellites. This was a huge red alarm at the time, with thousands of red blips on the screen. Luckily, the early warning system picked them up and tragedy was avoided for the highly advanced Castillian space program.

But today, a few red blips had appeared, and the base personnel were quite aware that it wasn't the effects of Kessler Syndrome. There were some sort of unidentified spacecrafts, not known to anyone in the Castillian space program or the intelligence community. The blips would appear for a few seconds, then disappear. Camera feed coming in from a few of the Castillian space stations orbiting Earth showed mere glimpses of the unidentified objects, but not enough to truly show what the objects were.

"I need all lower level personnel to leave the room immediately," said the base commander, Senior Air Marshal Preston Leahy. His command was one of the most prestigious in the Castillian Air Force, if not the entire military. While normally Air Force officers wore grey "Waffenrock" officer's tunics, those in service of the Air Force's Space Corps wore white tunics. Enlisted personnel would wear either black fatigues with unit insignia, rank and a matching field cap while not assigned to combat-ready roles, or specialized combat armor that was pressurized so that the wearer could go outside of the base.

As the men in black fatigues left the room, the officers in white stayed. "Major Donnelly, send word to Torrington. This is strange, very strange," Leahy said.

Soon enough, a relay was sent from the lunar base to Station Conner, one of the space stations orbiting Earth. The message there was then sent to the National Space Authority's secure Extraterrestial Research and Anomalies Unit in Torrington, where the message was and analyzed. The personnel there acknowledged that this in fact was indeed a strange occurrence, and had the message relayed to the Chancellery, where the Chancellor was advised on the situation.

Back at the lunar base, Leahy gave the order to send up a shuttle to investigate further, and within hours, the shuttle Ozymandias was enroute to Station Conner to investigate the last known location of the anomaly, near the station.

Urgent Message - Lunar Base 01 to NSA ERAU

Lunar Base 01 received data of unidentified spacecraft near Earth STOP.
Crafts unlike anything seen before STOP. Do not resemble any CCA crafts STOP.
Camera feed gave little indication or evidence of a threat STOP. Would however advise OVERLORD of situation STOP.
Lunar Base 01 will keep posted for any other anomalies STOP.

Rosewell Air Force Base
Command Center of the Mokan Branch of the Commonwealth Colonial Authority Fleet
North Mejican Desert, Mejico
1400 Hours Juventud Time

"Sir, we just relieved a bulletin from MOPAD, numerous unidentified objects are on a course with Earth, they want us to confirm."

The Air Commodore scanned over the message sent to him by MOPAD Headquaters, in this case Normandy Mountain in Wellovia. Long range satellites had detected anomalies heading towards the planet and the CCA fleet was being tasked with an investigation. Juventud was made aware of the situation and a special team in the Supreme Military Headquarters that was Juventud Island was being formed to investigate it. First thing however, was deploying the fleet to observe and report.

"The Xipe-Totec and Svetovid are in high orbit, have them go get a closer look at these anomalies."

In the vastness of space, a highly accuracy weapon would still come down to kilometers off target without careful calculation, which is why the small Mokan Space Fleet carried missiles with casaba howitzers for warheads. In essence, they were merely shape charges with a nuclear kick behind them. They had cannons for closer encounters, but with enemies who could match Mokan technology in space, it only made sense to ensure every hit was a kill. At least when fighting terrestrial enemies.

"What do you mean the unidentified objects made it from Mars to Earth is two hours? We've barely enough time to get ships capable of observation in position before they ended up right on top of us?" Air Vice Marshall Chavez bellowed too a subordinate who gave the third confirmation of what clearly had to be faulty intelligence.

The Command Centre was a flurry of activity. Unknowns from space had managed to find Earth and now appeared in orbit over the planet before the Space fairing warships of the People's Unified Federation could come up with a response. Though they only had eight Space "Frigates" Four were still docked to one of the three key Mokan Space Stations: Genesis, Leviticus or Numers. Only the Xipe-Totec, Hachiman, Ryūjin and Svetovid were in orbit and combat ready. Unfortunately, their observations worried High Command even more. By all accounts these were artificial in nature. Just as they began to prep a formation to hold in case of hostilities, a signal came in, nearly overriding inbound communications. Only the secure underwater lines to the Capital and highly encrypted signals held.

"Signal incomming!"

"Mainscreen!"

....static... for ten seconds. Then, it changed. The camera was watching... a skinless human being sitting on the edge of the bed.

However, on this rare occasion, as the Advena ate a chunk from side of the Human being before the pair produced a terrifying screech and the feed ended...

"Sir, The Primary Admiral and Air Marshall are flying out to Juventud as we speak. The President wants to know what just jammed his signal."

"Sir, we are getting an SOS from the Zorya Vechernyaya Rosewell is reporting a blinding light hitting it! We've lost life signal from all 12 crew members!"

"Satellite footage confirms light beam coming from the unidentified objects!"

The Air Vice Marshall had had enough.

"Order the Orbital fleet to engage the unknown objects, they are fucking with us. Fuck with them. Someone get me on the line with the Morridanes, the Lyrans, everyone in the CCA. Get me an emergency communication center, see what all of our allies are seeing!"

Commander Vicente Martinez sat, buckled into his command chair, his six crewmen at battle stations at their scattered locations around the "Space Frigate". Though compared to the artificial objects he was now targeting, three of his Frigates might line up to equal the length of one of the enemies. Three of the Orca Class ships had two missile tubes, each loaded with a Casaba Warhead, the other the FEM Svetovid, was a new model with Six. Together they were each fire a Casaba at the bigger ships. Reload and then begin fighting the smaller ones. With the commander of the FEM Svetovid leading the attack, targets had already been assigned and the orders too launch were given. Twelve Nuclear tipped Casaba Missiles flew from the Mokan Space Fleet and towards the unknown anomalies. Being boosted by rockets, it was going to be nearly 15 minutes before the missiles would make their mark, but a Nuclear weapon only had to be so close before it could be detonated.

Martinez sat watching his screen, waiting to see how the anomalies would react.

Commonwealth Airspace and Space Agency Control Center and Launchpad
(Codename: "Donna's Garden)

Esalonia had a space program stemming from the early 1950s, and construction on the two "space-cruisers" ESS John Dave Havencross and ESS Flordeliz de la Cruz started on 1980, completed only 34 years later-this was done in space.

These two "space cruisers" were armed with crude weapons of war: kinetic-kill missiles, and to a limited extent free-electron lasers, the turrets of which jutted out and made the duo look like titanic space cacti. These lasers would melt through many things from aircraft on the ground, albeit not advisable as accuracy, at least according to the CASA, is "piss poor", to even floating space junk-it was routine business for the crew onboard to man the laser turrets to destroy any incoming space junk.

Meanwhile in Donna's Garden, a Control Center and Launchpad of the CASA, ever since that signal jammed their comms with the duo ESS John Dave Havencross and ESS Flordeliz de la Cruz, the workers were in panic to calculate the origin of the signal. To their surprise it was from an anonymous point...at the outermost edges of the exosphere.

"Are you even fucking serious, Mr. Vaughn Megatto? You're the top-gun egghead here and you say an alien signal broadcasted live from the outermost edges of the exosphere?" his boss, pissed so much by his comment, shouted, at Doctor Megatto's face.

"I have evidence from the Aurum Vision satellites and the ESS John Dave Havencross and as well from ground-based radio telescopes." Dr. Megatto replied.

"Evidence. Very intriguing. May I have a copy?" said his boss, with a mixture of apology in his tone.

"I'll get it photocopied. I'll be back." said Vaughn, and then he rose up and went towards the Article Reproduction Room, his shoes making a deep-toned "tock-tock-tock".

"Damn it. Gotta get the duo to get on high alert status."

The boss walked towards the communications team to have a message sent to the space ships Havencross and Flordeliz, as their shorter names were.

"BEEP!" the screen said as it alerted the onboard captain of the vessel, Captain Maxine Chan, to an incoming message. From the CASA CCL "Donna's Garden". Maxine proceeded to tap the control panel screen with her middle finger, and the control panel playfully rendered ripples around where she placed her finger.

A box popped up and the message was then rendered.

"Yes, captain?" the computer replied with audio, as if to speak to the Captain.

"All lasers to be charged quarter-level over functional hardkill mode for only two hours, and all crew members placed on Condition Iron Shield." she replied, and this placed all crew members on Condition Iron Shield. If any "intruder" is sighted, all personal crew sleeping capsules will have so much flashing lights and all auditory assist devices on sleeping crew members will play sounds to awake the sleeping crew member-while the vessel had its own air inside, the crew still had to rely on auditory assist devices.

Ship Master, we have a request from Freighter 233. The Kraken’s are requesting fresh meat from the surface below. Do you wish me to send them on a hunting trip?

“No,” Warrior ordered firmly. “Letting them loose will cause more problems. I have a different idea,” Warrior then went over to the hologram and picked out where a naval flotilla was located. “This will do,”

Ship Master, with respect, some of the crew are getting restless.

“I know,” Warrior responded. “This will be our testing ground. Dispatched the Silencer to engage the fleet. They are to use stealth and take as many meat alive as possible. Maybe the number in the largest ship (supercarrier) should be enough to feed the Krakens,” Warrior ordered. “Adjust carrier position and begin abduction of the largest ship and also take arsenal ship as well. The rest is to be harvested for food for the fleet,”

What of the ships when the objective is completed?

“Leave them. Spill plenty of blood on all the ships, but take the Human’s, all of them and don’t leave a trace of the Alliance behind,” Warrior ordered.

Orders have being transmitted. Observation; communications have being intercepted. Recommend engagement.

“Wait,” Warrior lifted up a hand in protest. “Dispatch the Grim Reaper (Tiger Class). Tap their communications and pin point their military installations. Then destroy the installation,”

Hive Mind is active…standby for report.

The squadron shifted positions as it moved into position. At the same time, The Grim Reaper broke formation and started to track the source of the communication. It first started to ping the source as it begun to reach orbit of Lunar. In the meantime, the cyber operations team was installing a virus into the communications and in order for a better chance of success, they hoped the installation would send off a communication, even an SOS or report back would be suitable. It scanned the moon as the crew ready for combat.

In the meantime, the shuttle was picked up on radar by the squadron and in response, Vulture drones were dispatched to intercept it. They were about the size of dogs and their only purpose was to take things apart including Humans. When they engage the shuttle, first they tear apart the cockpit, the cargo section and then get inside and kill the crew inside. The shuttle was expendable, so was the crew.

The squadron moved with the carrier and the Hive Mind as they positioned themselves above the 13th CSF in space. At that moment, the plan was put into action. Warrior went to the hologram room as he prepared for something special. The Hive Mind became active as the Frigate, Silencer, went into stealth mode so it couldn’t be picked up by radar from the fleet. In addition, the Hive Mind jammed all forms of signals to and from the 13th CSF. Warrior went to work.

ENV Halcyon

The communications were jammed and the boxing match was interrupted…again. This time, it was more physical than last time. The static changed this time to the Messorem, or the Grim Reaper from mythology, and it just looked at them. It looked at them coldly and then finally, it did something. The Messorem, or the hologram of the Messorem, stepped out of the television and was projected onto the floor. It hovered, about a few inches from the floor as it looked about. If anyone tried to hit it, shoot it or throw something, it would go through it and hit whatever is behind it.

“Humanity,” it screeched softly. “You are nothing more than a group of superstitious idoit’s that believe you’re sky gods will protect you. This is nothing but false protection. False hope. There is nothing beyond but death itself,” his words were designed to pierce the hearts and the souls of the crew. “Brace yourselves captain, for you will experience the Coming of Hell,” He stood there quietly observing everyone’s reaction. A beam of light shone down and started to abduct Captain Lopez.

Outside, the fleet would be interrupted when a bright light shone down directly onto the supercarrier, ENV Karlos Gurrea, and onto the arsenal ship, ENV Zenobia. It would then begin abducting the crews and everyone on board the ships. When the Humans came around, they found themselves on board freighter 233 in a holding cell dangling from the roof in what appears to be a bottomless pit. A black fog covered the bottom of the room, but the cries of the Humans were deafened by roars below. 40 Kraken’s roamed below roaring and crying out for their feed to come to them.

The cells themselves were balls of vines or large boxes that were made out of vines. However, they weren’t meant to last. When the vines moved, the Kraken’s both smelt and noticed their prey up in the vines. Several had taken to the air for a few minutes and circle around the vines watching their prey. They roared at the vines and watched as on by one, the cells drop to the floor and the Humans are eaten alive by the Krakens.

Only the captains, the XO’s and admirals were transferred to cells on board the Hive Mind. They were to be mind probed for information about the military installations in their nation, codes and other information they demanded. In one of the cells, was a man in rugged clothing but on the shoulders, there was a Lynion flag patch and a military patch on the other shoulder. He looked like someone from Special Forces.

The Silencer roamed above the fleet and sent down what appeared to be a meteorite shower coming straight down on the fleet. The rocks were transporters and they had in total several thousands of Xeno’s, Goatmen armed with plasma blaster, crossbows and blades, and in addition, Rakes were included. They objective was to simply eat the Humans and the Goatmen were going to take whatever intelligence they could find about the military and civilian population. Screeches and roars echoed through the fleet as they deafen the cries of the Human Race.

With the carrier occupied and the Silencer engaging the fleet, The Grim Reaper occupied with the Lunar installation, that left the Interceptor (Tiger class cruiser), the Hive Mind and 3 Viper class frigates. The radar came alive as red blips were sighted. Warrior looked across his screen as he sighted two known enemies.

The Mokastana space fleet looked more like trash than anything else.

“Code Red,” Warrior ordered as the squadron went to battle stations. “Eli, I need a battle report,”

Observation, Earth ships do not appear to be shielded. WARNING! Incoming warheads, heading towards the carrier and the Hive Mind.

Warrior looked about and made his decision.

“Adjust battle course, all remaining frigates form up on the Interceptor,” Warrior commanded. The remaining cruiser and frigates formed a pentagon away from the Hive Mind as it moved into position to fire against the Mokastana Fleet. The warheads were screaming towards the squadron as the cruiser and the frigates formed a defensive line. As the warheads moved into open space, what appeared to be a sphere formed in front of them. 20 seconds later, the sphere formed a radio frequency as it was fired towards the incoming missiles. The frequency was designed simply to jammed the communications and shut down the engines. Those that managed to pass through the first net was hit by an EMP blast that formed the second defensive line and finally, a kinetic shield absorbed the blast but sent a shockwave through the squadron.

“Damage report,” Warrior commanded.

Shields holding at 96%.

“Carrier report,”

Worm hole was activated and the missiles were sent to the other side of the Solar System. Remaining missiles were hit by EMP shields.

“Hive Mind, fire EMP on enemy fleet. Have the Carrier launch fighters and bombers to engage these pieces of junk (ESS John Dave Havencross and ESS Flordeliz de la Cruz),”

EMP firing in 3…2…1…firing.

Warrior turned and watched as several blasts of EMP blasts screamed towards their intended targets of the Mokastana Fleet. They were aiming to cripple the entire fleet useless and then allow the combination of Vulture drones, fighters and bombers to destroy the fleet. The two ESS ships were intended to be destroyed. No survivors left behind. Now, Warrior would watch as the wrath of the Alliance was bought down on the primitive Human Race.

ENV Halcyon
Captain Joemar Lopez

The fight ended, but only the hardier ones lived up to see the fight end, in favor of "Money" Mayweather. The ship was then filled with BOO's as they disapproved of Mayweather winning over someone more aggro than he was.

"BOO!!! The entire navy did not waste for a boxing match to see two people hug each other!!!" said a crew member.

"Fight of the century, or so as the poster in my bunk says." quietly muttered another crew member whose arms were braced on each other and placed on the chest, and his head was slightly bowed down.

They were about to hear the Pacman's words, but it was cut short by another interruption. The static changed to a Grim Reaper standing in front of a black background. The figure then walked out, making a hologram. A crew member shouted: "Just get us back to the fight!" and threw a fork, which spun in the air. It just went straight through.

The hologram began to speak. "Humanity, you are nothing more than a group of superstitious idiot’s that believe you’re sky gods will protect you. This is nothing but false protection. False hope. There is nothing beyond but death itself. Brace yourselves captain, for you will experience the Coming of Hell."

This was then followed by a stream of light, which blinded Captain Lopez himself. Captain Lopez can feel himself being raised up into the air, and his screams did nothing to save him; if another crew member walked into the light he'd get raised into the heavens as well.

Soon enough, Captain Lopez found himself in a cell, but not in a prison cell-the cell was a hollow sphere of vines.

Elsewhere in the 13th CSF...

ENV Karlos Gurrea and ENV Zenobia

The crew was blinded by what they saw: a beam of light flashing from the heavens above. Soon enough they met the same fate as Captain Lopez, albeit more gruesome.

They found themselves in cells-better yet, spheres of vines. The vines then sooner moved, some creatures smelling and noticing them. Many took to the air few a few minutes and circled around them. The crew members were deafened by the roars, and they can feel themselves falling with the cell, and they were eaten-alive.

Somewhere in a strange-looking, unfamiliar place...

Captain Lopez woke up, but not on the usual bed-he woke up on something...like metal?

"Where am I?" he said. A guard, that somehow looked like...an alien...passed.

"Tell me where I am. And why did you take me?" he said to the guard.

ESS John Dave Havencross

"WARNING: CONDITION IRON SHIELD ACTIVATED. UNKNOWN SPACECRAFT INCOMING." Argonaut said, and repeated this over and over again.

Elsewhere, the crew was scrambling to their firing positions across the nearly 1-km-long spacecraft. Well, not like the Longsword-class of the Lyran navy, but the craft had more than enough missiles for engaging many targets-a hull breach is what these hard-tipped missiles were intended to deal, possibly killing crew members or making vital areas inaccessible.

The crew picked their targets one by one, and the FEL's began to engage-over the last one hour, they have been at 125% of maximum hardkill capacity, ready to release a beam of intense energy to melt incoming threats aside from the usual space junk. Each turret had its own LIDAR scanner-the LIDAR scanned every vessel and pinpointed where the crew member was and the weapons were.

One laser began to engage, albeit not visible. It began to strike the windshield of an incoming UFO, in an attempt to vaporize whatever is controlling it, either a live sapient bastard or its automated control systems, and if the latter the laser will also have another effect: the control systems will cry in pain.

Larger spacecraft followed. More M490 missile fodder, Captain Maxine Chan thought. She ordered missiles to be launched against the incoming larger spacecraft (alien bombers)-these were intended to make a hull breach on vital parts.

ENV Maria Cristana, Casanova-class frigate

Meteors from space turned into capsules deploying a few...aliens? The crew scrambled for their weapons, some grabbing MG96's, some grabbing the standard issue AR-95, some grabbing SMG-97s chambered for .45 ACP, with FMJ rounds capable of penetrating through 690 mm of ballistic gelatin, calibrated such that it's like human skin.

At the sight of the aliens looking for them...well, they hid in many places than one, and they were only a hundred-or-so strong...and as the aliens looked for them, they began to attach silencers and poured out a hail of pure human firepower-armor piercing M993 7.62 NATO rounds, 6.5 Grendel rounds, .45 ACP FMJ, Kornet-EMs in unguided mode, all-out human firepower was unleashed on the aliens.

Meteorite Attack
The 13th CSF

The Hive Mind suddenly became active as it sensed an engagement was beginning to occur with the 13th CSF. Due to the issues of language barriers, the Reapers developed Hive Minds that would solve the language barriers within the Alliance. They were deployed into any engagement regardless of size and it was extremely common to see them in a fleet, squadron and an armada. This was no different as it connected the minds of everyone in combat.

The Hive Mind had being fed with what intelligence they had Earth and estimated range weapons, guns, were going to be used on the ships. Adjusting their standard strategy, it sensed a Human weakness and was keen to exploit it. The Xeno screech would damage the hearing capabilities of the Human and with the Goatsmen having developed ear protection, they could engage the Humans quickly without worrying about the damages to the ear.

When the meteorites went over the ships, they opened up and the Xeno’s and the Goatmen came down while firing down on anyone outside. Plasma rifles were unslung and the Goatsmen open fire, blasting away that was Human. The Xeno’s spat their deadly acid that went through anything it touched. The spear like heads on the end of their tails was strong enough to pierce through body armour and is often accompanied by a spat of acid.

Upon boarding the ships, they quickly went to work. The frigate above, hacked into the PA system inside the 13th CSF navy ships and what communication earpieces they could find to hack into, and unleashed the Xeno screeched. The tactic is to make the Humans eardrums bleed and if there wasn’t a communication within the room, Xeno’s would screech into them follow by spitting of acid, grenades and plasma rifles blasting into the rooms. However, the Alliance wasn’t invincible and with every ship they took, they still lost a considerable amount of men. For it had being some time since the Alliance had conducted ship to ship boarding parties. The Hive Mind needed to redevelop the boarding party procedures.

Above space, something strange happened. The fighters buzzed above and concentrated on the engines to make the Human ships a sitting duck. However, the bombers did something odd. Alliance bombers and fighters were shielded and could take several blows from the Humans lasers before they lost their shields. Missiles took fewer to lower the shields before they were vulnerable to attack.

The odd thing? Several bombers took one hit and instantly disintegrated, but out came numerous Vulture droids per bomber. They scattered and aimed for taking out the weapons and others simply were sent out to punch holes into the hauls of the ships. The bombers split into three groups. One group assisted the fighters and went for the engines. The second group went for the weapon systems to remove any form of resistance. The last group went for the bridge to damage any form of response. As their signature tactic was becoming, they attempted to hack into the ships and cut off all forms of communications between themselves and the planet below.

Word had reached Warrior, the main armada was arriving soon.

EDITED:

Lucus and the Captain

"Don't bother captain," a vice came out of the darkest part of the cell as someone came forward. He was dressed in arctic camouflage and judging by the embalms on his shoulders, he was a Lynion. In fact, he was Master Lucus Longhsanks, Shadow Assassin Special Forces. "The guards can't talk English, they just fuckin' growl or do whatever goats fuckin' do. But whatever do, don't let them take your mind," Lucus explained to him.

OOC: I'm going to state my actual losses in my next post but I am taking losses in the fleet and in space.

OOC: Well, I can still move at my own inertia when I don't have these engines. But I won't be able to move easily, or accelerate. Therefore let's assume I'm still moving, but at my own inertia."

ESS John Dave Havencross

"Captain, unidentified drones incoming from large spacecraft after their detonation." said Argonaut.

"Captain, unidentified computer attempting to access the network without permission. Terminate connection?" it said again.

"Captain, laser turrets at section One-Alpha are down." it said again.

"Keep the crew hitting the bastards with the Eighty Lithiums! I want some more missiles launched!!"

"Captain, spacecraft incoming towards the bridge. Captain, engines on critical condition."

"Launch all missiles on the larger spacecraft and all smaller lasers on the smaller drones coming from the large spacecraft. Hit the drones with the Fifty Lithiums. (50mm FELs)."

"Roger, Captain."

There was no obvious physical indication of lasers firing-they melted their way just as drills do on rock. For the smaller drones the craft used 50mm FELs, and for the standard spacecraft...designated by the crew as "fighters"...they had to deal with 120mm FELs. The larger craft, designated as "drone carriers", were to be dealt with using kinetic-kill missiles. One by one some lasers were destroyed, hull breaches sucking their remnants into space. The spacecraft fired one salvo of kinetic kill missiles before its engines were completely destroyed, leaving the craft to moving on its own inertia.

"ESS Flordeliz, this is ESS Havencross, we need reinforcements, quick! We're getting overrun! Argonaut, send to Donna's Garden an SOS signal! Order some ASATs to be launched!"

"Roger that, Captain."

Argonaut made a system-generated message to send to Donna's Garden as it was the nearest. If not the nearest, then the second nearest would be the Cherukuo Aerospace Command, able to withstand a 30-megaton blast and a Magnitude 9 earthquake.
OFFICIAL SOS SIGNAL FROM ESS JOHN DAVE HAVENCROSS

We are getting overrun! We need a full arsenal against the intruders now!

"Captain, physical sturdiness of bridge is on critical condition. Recommend-" Captain Chan headed out for her spacesuit and escape pod, and then was launched into the three-dimensional pandemonium of space. In the meantime...at the ESS Flordeliz de la Cruz...

ESS Flordeliz de la Cruz

The ESS Flordeliz de la Cruz was already on her way from the other side of the world, somewhere over Eastern Dienstad.

Upon receiving an SOS from the Havencross, the Captain onboard, Captain Serafin Carson, ordered the ship to accelerate even more.

"Argonaut, place entire ship under Condition Iron Shield, and all lasers warmed up by 25% over maximum hard-kill capacity. Ready all missiles."

"Orders taken, captain. Entire ship is now under Condition Iron Shield."

As the ship passed through the void of space, it was placed on Condition Iron Shield. It also went post haste.

OOC: That's fine. The general tactic is to stop it from escaping and then pick it off with time.

IC:

Space Battle

“Recall the squadrons and prep the 121st and the 305th Squadrons for combat,” A bulky were-wolf barked the order to the AI.

Squadrons are being recalled, in total there has being an acceptable rate of causalities but major loss in Vulture drones has occurred. Wing Commander Ronan, Ship Master Warrior is demanding a battle report.

“Begin reconstruction of Vulture drones,” Ronan ordered. “Send the battle report after we have secured this final rust bucket,” Ronan growled as he entered the hanger bay. The alarms had gone off and pilots, purely Werewolves, raced to their ARC-170’s, B-Wings and Hyena Bombers as they scrambled to get out of the carrier and into space. As they left, the 125th and 303rd Squadrons returned to the carrier, most didn’t weren’t badly damaged, some had smoke coming out of them and others were being guided in by their VI since their pilots were wounded or had died from a bleed out.

“This is Devil One to all wings, form up in Visto Depth,” Ronan ordered. From their entry point, they went passed all the carnage from the first engagement. The scrap metals, the lifeless bodies and the point that the Human ships were putting up a more stubborn fight than first thought. “The second ship will be ready for us,”

Visto Depth formation issued the starships to form an open formation to avoid the conflict of splash damage from the missiles and any nuclear tipped warheads aimed at them. As procedure, Vulture drones were deployed to tear the ship apart and engage the missile systems. The bombers divided into three sections and went for different targets. One section went for the engines, one went for the bridge and the other simply bombed the starship.

The ARC-170’s blasted away at the starship attempting to cause mayhem. Their objective was to weaken the structure of the ship in any form they could find. As usual, the Vulture drones were deployed to tear the ship apart but unlike before, they were attempting to gaining access to the bridge and download any form of information from the ships computer. Unlike before, B-Wings weren’t used in the first strike. B-Wings had attached to them an EMP charge, but unlike the main starships in the squadron, the EMP charge was milder and would require a large amount of EMP blasts before it could cripple the ship. They could however, damage the electrical systems within the ship itself.

“Full engagement, weapons free,” Ronan ordered as the space lit up with the odd explosions, plasma torpedos striking the starship, small blue circles of an EMP blast impacting the ship and then exploding Alliance bombers or fighters occurring from time to time.

The Lynion Response

The Vamperial Kingdom
Lynscertia Island, Vamperial Temple
War Room

“Come again?” High King Vamp requested as he stood in the war room surrounded by members of the Vamperial Council as they went over the intelligence.

“Aliens have entered Earth’s space and have being destroying space assets of various Greater Dienstad nations. They are vastly superior in technology and battle experience, thus they have being able to overwhelm the nations space capabilities,” Azzari explained to Vamp. “I am preparing to dispatch our own…”

“Forget it,” Vamp interrupted. “We are just beginning to understand the true concept of space wars and we are facing an alien race that has perfected it over countless centuries,” Vamp looked at the data their space assets managed to obtain before they too were destroyed by the Alien Race. “We’ll face them on our own terms,”

At that point everyone observed the maps, they looked at their population centres, their military installations and their space assets. The point was clear that the Lynions, as well as the Human Race, was greatly out-matched by the Alien Race that has appeared on their doorstep. They knew they couldn’t face them head on and it would mean they would have to avert to something different.

“At this point, the Aliens seem to use EMP blasts to remove any form of communications and electrical technology,” Vamp pointed out to the space battle already occurring. “Then they use some kind of machine that tears the ships apart, and then a mass attack of fighters and bombers,”

“Then should we assume we are to face a mass attack any time soon?” Lee asked the monarch as the Headmasters were preparing to draw up battle plans.

“I doubt it,” Azzari pointed out the signatures of the Alien spacecraft’s. “Even if we’re to guess, they can’t have more than a couple hundred thousand troops at their command. I’m guessing, they’re waiting for a much larger force to arrive,”

“It may give us a few days…maybe a few hours. We really don’t know what’s coming,” Vamp declared. “Put our boys on Code Yellow and prep for combat. I want all our units able to use Morse Code in the event they hit us with an EMP strike. Put the Vamperial Cyber Operations Command on Red Alert and prepare to be hit by cyber attacks,” Vamp ordered. “We need to make it as hard as possible for the Aliens to forge a landing and give them a second thought for attacking us. The rules of war don’t apply to them. Use mines were we can,”
"Indeed" Merlin replied, remaining in shadow "Emotions give people more power than they could possibly image. Captain Lopez's prison cell

"Don't bother, captain." a voice came from the darkest part of the cell. As he moved closer, it became clear that he is wearing arctic camouflage uniform and embalms studded on him indicated he was a Lynion. "The guards can't talk English, they just fuckin' growl or do whatever goats fuckin' do. But whatever do, don't let them take your mind," the Lynion man said.

Isla de Uno, Esalonia

Isla de Uno, famous around GD for its white, fine sand, and great sunsets. Along the coastline were commercial establishments filled with rowdy, drunken, and cheerful life. People were drinking one shot of beer after the other, one bottle of vodka after the other, ate one tropical fruit salad after the other, in these establishments ranging from bars and restaurants to retailers of Isla de Uno-related souvenirs, like genuine sand and t-shirts saying: "Someone who loves me went to Isla de Uno and bought me this t-shirt."

Aside from that, women from all hierarchies of beauty, from the fat and obese women, to supermodels and gorgeous actresses, and an actress named Lovi Poe, dressed in black bikini, hung out on a reclining chair by the shore, with a cup holder holding her martini glass, while gazing at the sunset.. But the afternoon was interrupted by soldiers and military vehicles emerging from amphibious connectors armed with 30-mm rotary guns. Each amphibious connector contained four vehicles of various kinds, and from each amphibious connector emerged a platoon of soldiers-riflemen, grenadiers, AT crews, sappers, machine gunners, the like.

"Whoa, honey, why on a public spot? The military is conducting military exercises, no?" a woman said.

"Well I guess they are not here for a military exercise." her husband replied.

"Sir, this place has just recently been assigned as a Government Assigned Danger Zone! We are here to enforce evacuation!"

"Why, sir? Why GADZ when UFO sightings occured?"

"Just get on the amphibious connector, sir! We have no time! Let's go! No time for luggage! Collect all valuables and head towards the amphibious connector!" the soldier, a Captain, said.

"May I get to my lodge and get my laptop-"

"The military is gonna take care of your laptop, sir! Now get to the amphibious connector!" the couple had no choice but to follow the soldier's orders. Everyone was in panic, and each person stormed towards the amphibious connectors like a pack of wolves on a wounded moose. They were still wearing their bikinis and swimwear, but they had no choice; this was a Government-Assigned Danger Zone following loss of contact with the 13th Carrier Strike Flotilla.

1st Grand March Command Center

Ever since contct was lost, the 1st Grand March wanted to know what happened to the 13th CSF.

In the war room, the generals of the 1st Grand March were divided upon the manner of how they shall find out, if it's either aerial reconnaissance or sending an actual team of SEALs. The interactive table made ripples out of where the commanders' appendages touched the interactive screen, and the screen was showing live the movements of each Carrier Strike Flotilla, and if you zoom in you will slowly see what ships are in there.

Supreme Admiral Vladimir Spader tapped on a button showing the location of the 13th CSF...or more likely its last known location. "This...is the 13th CSF before the night we lost contact with them." he said as the screen zoomed in on the extreme-definition image.

"Now here's a live feed." Supreme Admiral Spader switched to live feed, and the icon for 13th CSF was gone. "No GPS signals, no radio, not even an SOS signal. We haven't even set up emissions control, if you want to know."

"Now how do we get to know what happened?"

"SEALs. Whatever the threat down there is, our SEALs are skilled enough to handle them." said the Supreme Commander of the SEALs.

"As always, sending actual men have been very inefficient. They lead to loss of valuable assets-er...lives. Suggest sending an aerial reconnaissance team to check it out-I trust our recon cameras, you know."

"Why not both? Aerial overwatch and recon while the SEALs do the surgical work...what do you think, sir?"

"Actually, General Desrouleaux is right. Aerial overwatch while the SEALs do the surgical work. Let's send a SEAL team alongside an air transport group."

Before the SEALs arrive...

As the crew unleashed a hail of pure human firepower on the incoming aliens...the unexpected happened.

Their communications headgear and comms paraphernalia started playing out screeches-but why? Even when they removed their headgear and comms paraphernalia, they still hear the screeching, even if the headgear was integrated with noise-reduction. One by one, as the screech burst their ears, they fell, their weapons making a loud bang when they were dropped, and the entire crew were placing their hands on their ears as fire from the unknown invaders raked them. Some were drenched in a potent acid that dissolved them in seconds, cutting through even the armor worn by heavy assault troops. Even heavy assault troops' riot shields succumbed to the natural weapons of war; spear-tipped tails and highly potent acid cut their way through the armor of these assault troops. The spear-tipped tails went clean through the riot shield and the armor and into the trooper's vital organs, like the heart. The acid was even potent enough to cut halfway through the top deck's and the belt's armor, provided a sufficient quantity was spat out.

But the human spirit went on-the surviving ones then retreated to the ship's midsection, and began to set up barricades to make the ship's narrow halls turn into a grand maze. Dead ends were laced with Claymore shaped-charge mines. Intersections with stairs leading up to the upper decks were traps, with firing positions from which the crew can fire upon the intruders. They barricaded the outermost doors to give them more time, and those in the upper decks were raining fire on the intruders as they tried to burst through the thick metal doors, reinforced by stacked furniture. The crew locked themselves in.

Somewhere in space...Captain Maxine Chan drifted along the void of space-lifeless bodies of what was once her crew, scrap metal from the ESS John Dave Havencross, and a pandemonium of strange-looking spaceship. But under First Contact Protocol these were called "extraterrestrial". Little did she know she was already deep behind enemy lines. A huge scrap of metal with the words "ve Havencro" written on it drifted by. As she steered her pod from the enemy spacecraft formation towards earth, a bright light shone on her eyes, emanating from a ship.

ESS Flordeliz de la Cruz

The crew awakened to the sound of their aural devices roaring out wake-up noises, and they raced to their firing spots. Again, the ESS Flordeliz looked identical to the ESS Havencross, both designated under the Havencross-class capital combat spacecraft-the old dictatorship experimented with combat spacecraft as everywhere in Greater Dienstad and the NSGlobe combat-enabled spaceplanes propped up.

Another combat spacecraft was planned to be built, the ESS Midsummer Night, a Midsummer Night-class spaceplane carrier. But budget cuts restrained the project and was thus put on hold.

"Incoming spacecraft detected. Condition Iron Shield Activated." Argonaut said to the captain.

"Good. Have Protocol 626 activated to prevent the enemy from obtaining data-looks like some drones are laying down heavy fire on the bridge, and in the meantime all valuable documents are to be copied and deleted, the copies transmitted to the earth."

However, EMPs kept hitting the ship, and for every EMP hit, a few laser turrets got offline.

"Shit, man! Not now!" a disgruntled crew member complained over his malfunctioning laser turret until it went online back again.

"Argonaut, get the missiles to fire at the largest spacecraft! Now!"

"Attempting re-connection to missile systems-EMPs suspected, and electrical systems jeopardized."

"Just launch one missile as soon as you connect!"

Argonaut then got to work, copying valuable files and transmitting copies back to earth. If one file had completed transmission, the original was deleted to prevent compromise of valuable data.

FEM Xipe-Totec
Orca class Frigate
Somewhere in orbit

"Vicente, the Ryūjin and Svetovid have issues SOS signals, EMP shielding was over powered and took them out. They're dead in the water!"

"DAMMIT!"

It had been bad enough to watch their missile attack be completely thwarted by enemy technology, from what looked shields out of a bad sci fi movie to just disappearing off radar. As senior officer of the active ships, Commander Vicente Martinez was now in charge of the Mokan space fleet, which was now a scant two active warships.

"Contact the Hachiman, have them move into recovery position of the Svetovid, we'll recover the Ryūjin. Get any surviving crew off the ships and fall back to Leviticus Station!"

With luck the alien fleet would remain distracted by the kilometre long target from Esalonia. Luckily the Mokan warships were barely a hundred feet long at best. Each of the Orca's only had a crew of six, so evacuation and setting up the trap charges would be quick.

They just had to hope the looked pitiful enough to ignore.

Rosewell Air Force Base
Command Center of the Mokan Branch of the Commonwealth Colonial Authority Fleet
North Mejican Desert, Mejico

The FEM Dazhbog roared to life, taking off with emergency crews for the other Mokan warships still tethered to their space stations. It was becoming clear that the Mokan space forces were not prepared for such a sudden attack. They were after all, designed for terrestrial threats with a minor ability to serve as a first line of defense ability against extra-terrestrial ones. A threat that up to today meant nothing.

With the transport, a squadron of Blue Steel fighter bombers took off from their runways to escort the transport to orbit. They were modestly armed, with their 30mm cannons and light anti satellite missiles. Their comrades on the ground and in Normandy Mountain were being prepped with Casaba nuclear missiles to join the fight soon enough.

They would need to rally the Mokan space forces if they hoped to make a dent in this alien fleet. Perhaps the Esalonian warships would be able to buy them enough time...

Juventud Island
Federal Supreme Military Headquarters
MOPAD Command Centre Prime

On the wall MOPAD's threat level indicator sat at DEFCON 3. Around the Federation military forces were looking to the sky, wondering what they would soon be facing. Radar waited and watched, missiles at it's command. Air ports across the Federation maintained vigilance with their aircraft. The ground order had not come through yet but the air force was on high alert. All units that had been on standby were now active.

Air Marshall Jesus Manuel waited in anticipation as his space fleet attempted to rally.

Upon landing Air Vice Marshall Chavez had already moved them up to DEFCON 3, a move Jesus approved of, because of that. Primary Admiral Jesus Consuelo had immediately been picked up by a Navy helicopter to escort him to.a Longsword. Rumor had it the President was going to give a speech to the people before being whisked away to sea by the mobile command centre. Once the civilian government was secure at sea. They would command the defense of the Federation as needed.

It seemed that, after all, humanity was not alone in the universe, instead the universe was a hostile place.

"Air Marshall, the FEM Xipe-Totec is under attack by smaller craft. Apparently enemy equivalent if fighter-bombers."

The Air Marshall watched the screens and radar feeds as the few remaining space ships fired off missiles and used point defense lasers to protect themselves to no avail. Even a few casaba howitzers detonated, either as a wall to block the enemy attack craft or as ships sacrificed themselves as traps for the enemy.

The space stations faired better, firing off nearly three dozen casaba nukes before their point defense weapons gave way and they were crushed. Even the mighty Genesis Station, once the pride of Mokan Engineering, split into two halves and fell into the atmosphere.

"Recall the Dazhbog, recall the orbital fighters, we are moving to defensive positions in atmosphere."

"We're getting a signal from the Mixcoatl!"

".....Comm....this is the Mixco.... We are a...ndoning the Leviticus, requesting landing z....."

According to the satellite feeds and space station feedback, the Leviticus station was holding on despite the enemy bomber attack. Damage reports continued to fill the status screen. They wouldn't last and were abandoning ship. The Air Marshall barked at the communications officer to give them an landing zone.

"FEM Mixcoatl you are clear to land at the Desert Fortress Space Port. Repeat Land at the Desert Fortress Space Port!"

"Copy that.... uventud, landing at Desert Fortre..."

The FEM Mixcoatl was the largest Mokan Space Warship, nearly three times the length of the Orcas, It's point defense lasers and 30mm anti satellite guns might give it a fighting chance at getting to the surface in one piece.

"New orders, get the orbital fighters to escort the Mixcoatl to the surface!"

"Yes sir!"

Now the Air Marshall could do nothing but watch. This was war, interplanetary war, and within the first hour the Mokan primary line of defense fell. They costs the enemy dearly in terms of fighters and small craft, but unless those 30 ish Cadabas could miracle their way passed enemy defenses, no enemy capital ships would fall.

Without looking away from the screens, his legs gave way, collapsing him into his chair. The Space Fleet was gone, and now he had to plan the next layer of defense.

"Move us to DEFCON Two."

Space battle against Mokastana Space Fleet

Unlike their encounter with Esalonia the Mokastana Space Fleet was better prepared for them and arguably had better ships, not to mention they had more starships, space stations and fighters than what the Esalonia could field. With that, their fighters and bombers had taken more damaged than first thought and they lost more fighters and bombers. They were recalling the fighters and bombers to adjust their strategy.

Observation, we have incoming starships leaving Earth’s atmosphere. Alert, nuclear warheads are incoming recommend immediate response. Alert, two waves are inbound.

“What?!” snapped Warrior. The AI was right when it had detected two waves of nuclear warheads. The first wave was incoming from Mokastana military installations and they numbered 30 warheads. The second wave was a third of what the Mokastana fielded, 10 nuclear warheads were launched from Lynion and they appeared different from Mokastana warheads.

“Then move the Grim Reaper into position, all stations prepare to defend against incoming missiles,” Warrior ordered.

The first wave of defence was a cluster scatter of flares that would send only a few off course. The vast majority continued their course as they hit the second line of defence which was an EMP strike that would cripple about 20 of the 40 warheads in total. The third line of defence was a crippling kinetic strike and anti-missile plasma batteries that managed to destroy all but warheads that slipped through their defences. Two were Lynion origin and the other three were Mokastana origin. The nuclear warheads erupted on the outer shields and in two waves. When the Mokastana warheads erupted, they damaged the outer shields enough to allow the Lynion warheads to slip through and cripple two frigates but not enough to destroy them, just enough to keep them out of action…until the repair ships got to them.

In response, a mass attack of 50 plasma warheads were primed and fired upon the last of the Mokastana Space Forces as they aimed for the space stations, the frigates and the transporters coming into space. Unlike their Human counterpart, they were shielded to some degree to withstand longer and their engines were designed to increase the speed and to close the distance quicker. The plasma warheads operated a chain reaction similar to nuclear warheads.

The damaged frigates were required to fall back behind the front lines. Repairs were in high demand as the repair ships quickly moved to begin repairs on the ships. They knew their battle was far from over. The armada was beginning to amass for the planetary wide invasion.

Meanwhile, the carrier had detected the drifting Captain Maxine Chan and decided to abduct her abroad, unknowingly, onto the Hive Mind. When she arrived on the Hive Mind in the prison cell, she was beamed into the cell with Captain Lopez and the Lynion already inside. The pair were blinded by the white light as the Lynion shielded his eyes from the surprised entry. After awhile, it was safe to look around.

“Not bad,” the Lynion started. “So, I’m taking we’ve all being abducted,” he looked at the other two for a moment. “Listen, we can sit here, chat and get acquainted or you can help me break out. Interested?”

The attack on the 13th CSF was becoming more violent and aggressive as the Xeno’s and the Goatsmen were becoming frustrated with the Humans. Whenever they came to a locked door that was barricaded on the other side, they would find a weak point in the wall and spit acid at it until it broke. Then they threw in about 2 flash bangs, 1 plasma grenade and 2 frag grenades to weaken the force. Once down, they would break down the door and the barricade and attempt to overrun the defenders quickly to avoid further room to room fighting. At some parts, the acid was highly concentrated to being sinking the ship they were own as they gave the choice to the survivors, face the Aliens and die or drown slowly. The choice was their own to decide.

When they took and secured the bridge of the ships, they begun to download any information they could acquire from the bridge, locate any information and documents and send them back to the Hive Mind to be used against the Humans. They were keen on locating the military installations and knowing what they were capable of.

The Lynion’s

It was becoming more and more obvious that the attacks from the Alien invaders were becoming more aggressive against the Humans. Their cyber division, Vamperial Cyber Division (VCD), had begun to operate a cyber-defence by going on the offensive. When the Lynion’s realised what the Aliens were doing, it was clear they needed more of an edge than what they had.

“We’re not going to fight this on our own,” Azzari looked across at the battle net. “Even if we beat the first wave, I swear we’re going to face something far worse,” He then looked across at the map and pondered on the possibilities of reinforcements emerging. “Open up communications with the Mokastana High Command and make them an offer,”

RE: Alien Conflict

It is clear that Humanity is not alone in the universe, let alone facing our greatest enemy. The force we are currently facing may only be a trickle of their force. I fear they are stalling for time. I purpose a method of stalling the Alien Forces while we prepare for a ground invasion. We know that we can break their shields and defences but because of their vast technology, it would take numerous before we can knock one of the starships out of commission for good.

I purpose a joint attack. We should be able to damage their defences enough to allow nuclear warheads to slip through their defences. Therefore, I purpose a joint nuclear strike of no less than 30 nuclear warheads from each nation. In addition, our cyber division will attempt to lower their defence mechanisms. I fear that once we have attacked, they will adapt and then we’ll need to find another way to their starships.

Captain Chan's Prison Cell

"Not bad. So I'm taking, we're all being abducted." the Lynion said, as he looked at Captain Lopez and Captain Chan. "Listen, we can sit here, chat and get acquainted or you can help me break out. Interested?”

"Break out? Sounds fun." replied Captain Chan, wide-eyed and with a faint smile in approval.

"Don't bother Captain. Seems like this is even more secure than the American Supermax or any Dienstadi counterpart. Now, how do we get out here..." said Captain Lopez as he looked away from the Lynion and Captain Chan, while massaging his chin with his pointing finger and thumb, in a gesture of doubt and critical thinking.

"Where were my manners. I'm Captain Maxine Chan, captain of the ESS John Dave Havencross."

"Oh, thanks for reminding me that, Captain Chan. I'm Captain Joemar Lopez, ship commandant of the ENV Halcyon, an Esalonian destroyer. Saw service in the Second Esalonian Civil War, and the flopped Third Qandarian War. Now the fourth shall be with my luckier comrades."

13th Carrier Strike Flotilla

Around the flotilla, close-quarters combat erupted. Esalonian weapons were designed for full-range lethality up to the maximum effective range. Every time an alien went into an intersection, the alien was subjected to raw human firepower: frag grenades, thermobaric rockets, .50 BMG rounds, full armor-piercing rounds, AT rockets.

But thick steel doors and stacked furniture weren't enough. The aliens, somehow, even got through the doors. The stacked furniture may have given them enough time...but a salvo of flashbangs and grenades killed the crew hiding behind the doors, and sporadic fire began raining upon the crew. Somehow the aliens were more oriented on CQB than they were, or probably a crude stopgap solution revived and made better using technology and numbers.

The aliens proceeded to download data from the ships. But first they had to meet a security system when they boot up the computer: it asked for a Restricted Access Code than only the crew knew, and for every vessel it was different. While the ship was sinking, the aliens were trying to download data. However, they have to get through that system, and after an access code was a biometric scan. The ship had backup copies pre-transmitted before the attack, and once a number of tries were reached "Protocol Data Wipe" was executed, deleting all data on the ship, and preventing the aliens from downloading data. All valuable data was stored on land.

One thing that the aliens overlooked: the submarines. They cruised the undercurrents, while watching the entire situation.

"Sir, we got no contact with the surface vessels, sir."

"Damn it. High Command is not gonna like this, you know."

The communications officers then received a transmission, and a connection request from an unknown area. Somehow, the aliens were trying to hack into the network. The team, as always, knew what the aliens were trying to do: intelligence. They denied the connection request.

1st Grand March High Command HQ

The commanders of the 1st Grand March have never had any sleep for the past 36 hours-they were busy discussing what to do next. SEALs on the 13th CSF, SIGINT ops, mass EMP strikes, everything. They pinpointed that this attack came from the heavens, as the last transmission from the ENV Halcyon read: "Meteor...aliens emerge...engaging...advised, we are...full AP roun...OP-N FI-!"

"Well, seriously? We have been taught that alien life exists out there. I still won't believe this one. Somehow, sending an inconspicuous SIGINT device disguised as space junk would work in letting us know what they must be doing. Mass EMP strikes are worse-can get us into something worse, like misfires."

"SEAL and SAS teams are ready for deployment, sir."

"Put them on hold. In the meantime, let's have a talk with the President as this is too much for us to decide on."

On Board the Hive Mind

“Master Lucus Longshanks, 22nd Shadow Assassin Squadron,” The Lynion introduced himself. “I was on search and rescue when we made First Contact,” Lucus stood up and walked across to the door of their cell as he looked about at the Goatsmen. At that moment, a door opened and something heavy footing made its way through the corridor and stopped at their door. The Reaper stood and glared at the trio in their cell.

“Hello meat,” the Reaper screeched at them.

“Howdy,” Lucus didn’t seem to flinch as the Reaper creature came closer to the door. “It isn’t my fault what happened to your relative,” Lucus pointed out. The Reaper didn’t seem to move or make a sound as it watched the trio.

“Well meat, then you are lucky. You are about to meet your creator,” The Reaper told them. “Open the cell,” The Reaper gave the order for the cell doors to open as they were taken out of their cell and found themselves surrounded by a heavy guard. It was obvious they were being taken somewhere else. There was 12 guards in total. 4 xeno’s in battle armour walked close with the prisoners and the other 8 were Reapers in Royal Purple armour plating indicating they were bodyguards to someone of great importance.

They were taken through a number of corridors and hallways. They pass by Goatsmen guarding different doors, Xeno’s patrolling various parts of the hallways and corridors. They past a door that was opened and they could see inside Human beings that were being carved up to serve as food. Lucus was trying to memorised where they were going but it was becoming more difficult to remember where they were going. Finally, they came to what seemed to be the command centre. The door was opened before them and they crossed a crossing and then entered another door where they came face to face with their greatest foe.

“He..ll…oo,” the inside of this part of the ship was hollowed out, saved for the walkways and computers on the sides. In the middle, a massive creature was in the middle. It appeared to be like the mythical creature, the Kraken. There was one central body part which made up the head and had numerous tentacles, both large and small moving about. Its eyes seemed to be something from hell itself as the eyes were blood red. One of its tentacles made a gesture as the guards left them alone. Looking about, Lucus eyed something critical off to his right. They were looking at his tactical sidearm, HLAR Rifle, magazine clips, a USB stick and grenades. He then nudge the captain next to him, hoping they would see what he saw.

“What are you?” Lucus opened the conversation with a question as he then took interest in the creature.

“I…am…god!” the creature roared. Lucus thought about it for a moment and decided to try something.

“So I’m in hell?” Lucus was trying to think of something as he noticed the room was filled more with technicians than guards. This possibility meant the creature had its own defence mechanisms.

“Funny…” the creature responded.

“Who are you?” Lucus rephrased the question.

“I am the Ultra Mind,” the creature declared. “In your simple terms, Humans…” it seemed more relaxed to call them by their species name. “I am what you call the Pentagon. The Vamperial Council, the 1st Grand March High Command,”

“The Central Command of the Aliens,”

“One of many central command nodes of the Alliance,” the Ultra Mind corrected Lucus sharply as it seemed to snap at the smallest mistakes.

“I’m taking the Alliance are the Alien invaders of Earth then?” Lucus asked curiously as the Ultra Mind seemed to make a positive gesture. “Why did you invade us?” The Ultra Mind seemed to have taken this into some thought before it came back to the trio.

“You are nothing more than a primitive tribe that is hell bent on destroying itself,” The Ultra Mind snarled at them. “You are a source of food, and you will birth a food supply for us. Your sons and daughters will fuel the Alliance for generations to come as mindless husks,”

The 13th CSF

The Aliens were beginning to understand they were going to have trouble with obtaining the digital data. In an act of rage, they begun to destroy the bodies of the Human beings and even let it out onto the last of the defenders. They unleashed their rage onto the Humans as they were becoming more violent with every frustration. It made them a force to be reckoned with. At the same time, the Hive Mind was coordinating the effort when it detected a force under the water.

“Finish the Humans with speed, then beam the warriors out. The Humans are about to respond,” The Hive Mind sent out the order to the minds of the warriors as the carrier was preparing to beam the Aliens back to the ship, along with their equipment and bodies of the living, dead and wounded. They began to beam back the dead and the wounded, both Humans and Aliens alike. They knew they would leave behind something but they wanted it kept to a low.
"Indeed" Merlin replied, remaining in shadow "Emotions give people more power than they could possibly image. Emotions can turn the tide of battles with a single heroic act, help beat back even the strongest enemy. Emotions are what keeps us going in our hour of need. Hope, and trust in our friends. Onboard the Hive Mind

The Lynion man then introduced himself after Captains Lopez and Chan introduced themselves. The ranking insignia of the Galactic Navy, virtually wiped out after its only 2 capital warships were destroyed, but still maintaining a fleet of spaceplanes, was no different from the one of the Navy. The uniform had no difference other than that Captain Chan's top uniform looked like a silken trench coat, with a blue and yellow border along the midline where a zipper is located.

"Master Lucus Longshanks, 22nd Shadow Assassin Squadron. I was on search and rescue when we made First Contact.". Lucus stood up and walked to the door of their cell as he looked about at the guards, who looked like man-goats. A door opened and heavy footsteps were heard and stopped at their door. It was what is called in Human urban legend...a Reaper.

"Hello meat." the creature, the Reaper, screeched at them.

"Howdy. It isn't my fault what happened to your relative." Lucus said.

"Well meat, then you are lucky. You are about to meet your creator. Open the cell." the Reaper ordered, and the trio were taken out of their cell and found themselves surrounded by guards. Twelve guards, 4 aliens in battle armor, another 8 in battle armor colored in Royal Purple. The trio were taken through a number of corridors and hallways. They pass by Goatmen guarding different doors, Xeno's patrolling corridors and hallways. They pased by an opened door and they could see inside a very gruesome sight: humans being carved into pieces of meat. They approached to what seemed like the command center, and the door opened before them. The trio and their guards crossed a crossing and then entered another door where they came face to face with a large creature.

The command center was hollowed out, save for the walkways and computers. In the middle was a massive creature, a Kraken, with tentacles emanating from a central body part. Its eyes glowed blood red, reminiscent of hell's eyes. The Kraken made a gesture, and the guards left the trio alone with the Kraken. Lucus nodged Captain Chan, seemingly intimidated as she looked down and to her right.

"What are you?" Lucus said, very interested about the creature.

"I...am...god!" the creature roared.

"So, I'm in hell?" Lucus replied. The room had more technicians than guards.

"Funny..." the creature said.

"I am the Ultra Mind. In your simple terms, humans, I am what you call the Pentagon. The Vamperial Council. The 1st Grand March High Command"-the latter statement made Captains Lopez and Chan feel an electrical tingle down their spine, and they breathed deep just to shrug the fright off.

"The Central Command of the Aliens..."

"One of the many central command nodes of the Alliance." the Ultra Mind corrected Lucus, with a sharp rise of tone. "Why did you invade us?" Lucus replied. The Ultra Mind thought for a while for an answer before talking to the trio again.

"You are nothing more than a primitive tribe that is hell bent on destroying itself,” The Ultra Mind snarled at them. “You are a source of food, and you will birth a food supply for us. Your sons and daughters will fuel the Alliance for generations to come as mindless husks."

"Whoa." Captain Lopez said softly. He looked down and to his right. "So, therefore, they're invading us to turn us into food, slaves, and breeders. Breeders...somehow...I'm beginning to be very concerned of Captain Chan." he thought, afterwards looking at Captain Chan, with a look of doubt.

"Wait. Birth a food supply for you? No, only humans go out of my v-zone, not food." said Captain Chan sarcastically. Captain Chan was famed for her sarcasm outside (and sometimes inside) work. "I got what humans call a boyfriend and...just look at this ring." Captain Chan showed the back of her hand, with a golden ring on her ring finger. The fine laser-engraved words said, "Vaughn and Maxine".

13th CSF
Corporal Taylor "Swift" Lautner

Onboard their helicopter, they can see more beams of light on the surface-going vessels. (OOC: I assume this happens after the aliens got back to their spacecraft, and Human crew being abducted.)

"Ready gear, boys." the squad leaders said. Two squads, in one heavy-lift helicopter. Each 5-man fireteam was assigned their vessel to investigate. 40 SEALs were transported, for a total of two heavy-lift helicopters, and another one carried two squads-one squad each for the arsenal ship and the supercarrier.

The squad members readied their gear, readying their guns for firing and tested their night vision devices-thermal, NVG, whatever. Each squad member had their sighting devices connected to a mission documentation system, and back in the 1st Grand March HQ their live feeds were transmitted.

No sooner did the prominent bow of the ENV Halcyon appear, with 160 VLS cells arranged in an orderly manner, plus a large-caliber gun. The heavy-lift helicopter's rear ramp lowered, and the squad sooner deployed.

"Squad, move." the squad moved out towards the prominent "island". Traces of carnage were everywhere-burnt flesh, some worn down guns, etc. Corpses were also present.

Lautner's fireteam moved towards the bridge, after passing through an intricate maze of corridors. Once they passed through the mess hall, with unfinished food and an opened meat locker. The lights were turned off. Silver-lined cardboard platters shone everytime taclights shone light on them. The team wore their night sighting devices, looking for any sign of life. Nothing. There was food scattered everywhere, utensils seemingly thrown, signs of foul play.

"Wow, man. This is nuts." a squad member said. "I don't know what's worse man-drugged by the Rocket Cartel and then left to pass out in the sewers or this."

"Cut the chatter. Let's search for interesting shit." Lautner replied.

They made their way to the bridge. This time, they were greeted with a strange finding: a door, seemingly melted by acid. Somehow, it's not hydrochloric acid, but an even more potent acid. It can melt through riot shields. Elsewhere, the squad reported sections of belt and deck armor that seemed to be...burnt? But it was not burnt-it looked like something, or someone, took a bite from it. Furthermore the edges were not charred.

"Sir, we got a door...somehow taken down. Hinges and locks are intact. Not what you'd expect being kicked down."

"Edges aren't charred. Take a few pictures and notes for G-2. Wynn, get that smartphone...what's left of it."

Private David Wynn picked up the smartphone, which had consumed about twelve hours of recording and was still recording. He had the recording saved.

"Corporal, I got a dead..."

"Let's go, boys. Interrogative-where is the corpse?"

"Left of the gun cupola, sir."

"We're getting there."

Corporal Lautner's fireteam went outside to where the gun was. They were greeted with two operatives circling a corpse that seemed barely human in facial features.

"Sir, check out these tats. The corpse barely looks human."

"Good. Check for vitals and take photos for G-2. This will blow High Command's minds. Strafe 2-1, Strafe 2-1 actual. Calling in for exfil at LZ Alpha."

"Copy that, Strafe 2-1."

For exfil, the team went towards the helipad. The squad boarded the helicopter before it went to fetch others.

"So, got anything from the Zenobia?" the platoon leader asked the 2nd squad, who boarded the ENV Zenobia.

"Nothing, sir. The place is absolutely dead."

"Anything from the ENV Halcyon?"

"Photos for G-2, and a video recording."

The helicopters vanished into the horizon and into the southern shores of Esalonia. All three islands were turned into a Government Assigned Danger Zone, and the only thing in those islands were soldiers, tanks, and fortifications. Notable hardware were Zeus Artillery Platforms carrying Horas-B 150mm ETC Rarefraction Wave guns.

Presidential Palace
Mokastana City
Broadcast to the world

The President of the Federation, Henry Milano, sits at the long Oak table that many Presidents before him used to give important speeches to the People. His face looks tired and somber. Though the alien force was only spotted a few hours ago, it is clear the President is concerned, he begins:

"My fellow citizens of the Federation, today at 02:15 PM Mokastana City time, we found an answer to one of life's greatest mysteries: Are we alone in the universe? It would appear that we are not, alien life has found us, but unlike the peaceful races we always envisioned, it seems they have come with a hostile intent.

I say this not to alarm you, but to make it clear what the situation is. As I speak, the Federal orbital fleet is engaged in battle with these visitors from another planet. Fighting side by side with orbiting assets from nations around the world.

It no longer matters whether we are socialist, fascists, Hispanic, white or oriental. Together as a Federation we learned these lessons long ago, and today the rest of the world will be joining us in putting our species' survival above all else. Militaries from around the world are combining forces into an alliance that will combat these aliens on any front they choose.

As such, it is our duty to join our brothers and sisters in arms. As of now, mobilization orders are going out to all reserve forces to report for duty. If you have not received orders yet, consider this broadcast an order to report to your nearest rally point.

Today we begin the war to ensure mankind's right to exist I this universe, and begin showing those who dare threaten us what it means to be human.

Long live the People, long live the Workers, long live Humanity!

The Hive Mind

“You’re pitful marriage and relationships mean nothing to me,” the Ultra Mind snapped at them as one of its tentacles weaved past the trio. “Your words will mean nothing when I have enslaved your pathetic race,”

“You realise you have a huge issue with your plan?” Lucus thought about this for a moment and wondered how much the Ultra Mind knew about the Humans. The Ultra Mind gave Lucus a glaring look. “They won’t submit to an Alien Race,”

“We’re not as selective as your primitive minds think,” the Ultra Mind responded.

“So then why are you wasting our time? If you’re going to kill us, just do it,” Lucus was starting to show signs of frustration to the Ultra Mind. The Ultra Mind grinned widely at the trio as its plans were beginning.

“Simple, you will watch the Earth willingly submit to us,”

“I hate to be captain obvious by a squadron can’t take the planet,” Lucus started to walk slowly as he attempted to take the attention away from the other two captains. “We have tens of billions on Earth and you plan to take use with a few hundred thousand troops?”

“Who says we’re alone in this universe?” The Ultra Mind smiled as he bought up the map of two universes. One had the Humans inside of it, the other was dominate by the Alliance. It was clearly seen that on the edge of their galaxy, the Alliance was massing an armada of ships. There was no telling how many were coming. “Now do you believe me?” the Ultra Mind snarled at the trio. Then it happened.

The computer screens suddenly became static as the technicians tried to understand what had suddenly happened to them. The Vamperial Battle Flag emerged. It was two dragons with the Jolly Roger in the middle wearing a piece of red clothe tied at one end. Then a video started to play.

The camera was clearly a head video set and the person was being kicked to one side as a Reaper appeared to be the opponent. The person with the video headset looked down at his boot and pulled out a knife to defend himself. Rolling and tossing to one side, the man managed to take hold of a katana blade in one hand and the bayonet in the other. The Reaper and the man were standing and then the Reaper leapt forward at the man. The man bought his blades to his defence and blocked the first attack.

The pair traded blows for blows as the Reaper was punching the man when it could. Then as it would seem the Reaper had the upper hand, the man took his bayonet and shoved it into the hand of the Reaper. The surroundings became clearer as they were fighting in a snow covered pine forest. The Reaper tore out the bayonet and threw it with fury towards the man. The camera follows the blade as it narrowly misses the man and went into the tree behind him. The Reaper then rushed forward with incredibly speed and the pair engaged with their blades once again. Then, the Reaper, with such fury, rage and hatred, hit its blades against the katana, so hard, the katana snapped and the top blade went flying.

The man dodges the attacks as he tries to take the bayonet out of the tree it was lodge into. Not looking behind, the man was thrown with great strength into the air and when he landed and looked up, the Reaper was charging him. It swung its blade about and branches from the trees dropped as if they were twigs in the wind. Picking himself up, the man looks up and sees something. Looking behind at the Reaper, he realises how close death is.

Running forward, the man uses the trees as a barrier and runs further. It becomes clear that there’s a rifle lying on the ground. Running for his life, the man leaps forward and reaches the rifle with the grenade launcher attached to it. The man picks it up and without thinking straight, he turns around to face the Reaper leaping towards him with its sword pointed at him. Aiming the rifle up, the man fires a grenade and it wizzes through the air and lands directly into the mask. The grenade explodes second later as the Reaper let go its sword and throws itself onto the man. The man and the dead Reaper roll for some time. Eventually, the man was stopped by a tree and the Reaper body went down the hill as it could be seen a cliff was further down the forest. The feeds then cut.

“You can bleed, you are not invincible and you can die,” High King Vamp’s voice can be heard in the background. His cold, commanding and firm voice would send a chill down some spines. “This, is only a taste. Prepare to embrace hell,” The feeds cut to the Jolly Roger Flag on every screen as Lucus walks back to the two captains.

“They’re firing nukes,” he whispered.

"Bring us to DEFCON one."

Across the Federation, orders were going out to ground all civilian aircraft. Fighters and nuclear tipped bombers took off and patrolled the skies. The Reserve Guard was being mobilized as nearly every anti aircraft weapon in the Federation looked toward the sky, waiting for the eventual invasion. In a matter of hours, nearly 60% of the full Mokan military was combat ready, with more units activating by the minute. In Mokastana City, the President was flown a few Kilometres to the Capital's submarine pen, where the Command Vessel, MNS Salvador, waited for the President and remaining members of the council.

Upon landing, the President received a communication from Juventud: A notice of use of Nuclear weapons against the alien threat. He had already authorized nuclear attack minutes after giving his speech. He knew the orbital fleet was gone, but the public had to believe they at least put up a good fight.

"Very well, may God have Mercy"

Back at MOPAD Command, the launch orders were given. Normandy Mountain had been sent a vague copy of the plan via secure line. Informing them the strike is multinational and should hinder the alien threat. Technically, Normandy Mountain had the ability to veto the launch, but with Presidential and Air Marshall approval, even that veto could be over turned. Given the situation, it was unlikely they would.

Launch orders made their way from the island, to the various silos across the Deserts of Mejico and hidden in the jungles of Suria. 120 nuclear tipped missiles, guided by Satellite and ground based Radar, would fly strait into the air and hunt down the alien ships. Of the missiles, 20 were carrying an 8MT warhead, designed with EMP damage in mind, the 8MT was reserved only to destroy enemy communications and target hardened enemy command posts. It was the most powerful standard weapon in the military's arsenal. If it didn't cut it, then the war would almost certainly, be lost.

Vamperial Temple, Lynscert Island
The Council Chambers

“Did the message get sent?” Vamp asked as the Council Members nodded. “We must all agree to enact the plan. I trust we all know the situation, the Aliens will be hell bent on conquest of Earth. Today, we will show them that Humanity is united. As agreement to the Vamperial Order, at least 10 members of the Council, not including the monarch, to agree to it. The Monarch as agreed to it, Sky Headmaster Lee King has already agreed to it and it’s the Councils final decision,” Vamp explained the situation to the Council very bluntly. “All who agrees to fire, says Aye,” All 12 members of the Council said aye. “Nay?” It was protocol even when all had said Aye. “Lee, fire the nukes,”

All across the country, mainly in the deserts, the jungles and forests, nuclear silos were opening up and ‘Dawnbringers’ were being fired from them. Ranging from 5MT to 10MT nuclear warheads, 120 nuclear warhead were fired from their silos. The civilian flights were being quickly re-routed, the heavy bombers were deployed as they also fired their payload.

Meanwhile, deeply bunkered under the Hunter Mountains and below the Temple itself, was one of three Central Command Nodes (CCOMND) that coordinated the Vamperial Military Forces. Today was no different. In one of the separate chambers, the Royal Family was being out into safety during this nuclear strike and the threat of an Alien Invasion. In the main command centre, Lee King, Vamp Kingston and Azzari Kingston were watching the live feed they had of the Alien ships.

Vamp was pacing from side to side and was finally pleased to see that the Mokastana Forces had taken him up on Azzari’s offer. It still didn’t make him feel any better either. Yes, they had successfully hacked into the Alien’s Information Technology and sent their version of propaganda. It was Master Longshanks killing a Reaper before he vanished. All they found was his helmet and video camera attached to it, along with hints he was abducted. At the moment, they had no way of knowing just how effective their cyber operation was.

“Any idea?” Vamp asked Lee as Lee shake his head. All they could do now was wait.

The nuclear warheads

The Alliance Squadron Shipmaster, Warrior, laughed at the thought of being attacked by a nuclear strike the second time. Now they were prepared to hit back. He was confident in the ships ability to defend itself and the squadron to repel the attack and begin the invasion of Earth. Sitting comfortably in his chair, he was unaware of the sudden attack in their IT. The moment was pleasing to him, until the lights went out. Emergency power was bought online as the squadron found itself heavy hit by a cyber-attack.

“Report,” Warrior roared at the top of his lungs.

“Something has gotten into our systems,” Someone shouted. At that point, a skull and crossbones appeared on every screen as it replays a Reapers death. The Alliance was fuelled with rage but it wasn’t helping them.

“Adjust course 30 degrees and move us away…”

“It’s too late!” someone else shouted out. At that moment, a last ditch defence was put together as interceptor missiles were fired. Lynion nuclear warheads had fired off hundreds of flares to confuse the interceptor missiles but only a handful were knocked off course and detonated harmlessly. The remaining warheads, over 220, broke the outer defensive lines. Warrior was managed to position smaller crafts in front of the squadron to take some of the blast. However, it didn’t stop the nuclear warheads breaking their inner defences.

Earth was watching in glory as the warheads made impact. The screens lit up like a Christmas tree as for a whole 30 seconds, explosions erupted and hit directly at the ships. The Interceptor was heavily damaged and had managed to use the smaller crafts to take the blow. However, it was the only frigate that survived the counter attack as the other capital ships were blown into nothing. The carrier was also heavily damaged and was forced into a retreat as it made a jump into hyper space. The Interceptor followed in suit as it lead the remaining quarter of transports away from Earth.

Vamp let out a cheer as everyone in the room were overjoyed by their victory. However, it was short lived as they picked up the largest vessel had also survived. However, unlike the carrier and the Interceptor, it had being knocked out of space and came crashing down to Earth. It blazed brightly as small crafts were seen flying away from it. Other smaller starships had flown to the aid of the larger ship as they appeared to be uplifting it but was failing. Lynion communications picked up a large amount of chatter of what assumed to be about the larger ship.

“Where’s it falling to?” Vamp demanded.

“It’ll crash into Union, roughly in the Summer River Jungle area,” the operator responded.

“Alert the Union Colony to the falling ship. Have all emergency crews on standby and get the nearest divisions ready to move onto the crash site. We need to know what was onboard,” Vamp demanded. Calls were made as the Union Military was contacted and four divisions were preparing to secure the crash site.

During the nuclear strike on the Hive Mind

“Incoming nuclear strike,” an operator shouted at the top of its lungs as the Ultra Mind looked about.

“Watch Humans…” The Ultra Mind started to say a taunt when it was interrupted again.

“Defensive measures have failed,” the ship’s captain declared. “All hands, brace for impact,”

“Well Ultra Mind, I hate to say this, but I told you so,” Lucus stated firmly as he moved back to the captains. “We would love to stay and chat but I think it’s fair to say we are running,” Moving back to the captains, the Hive Mind took a series of blows.

Everyone was thrown about and as they tried to get up, Lucus took the captains and pulled them out of the room. Sure enough, another wave of blows occurred and as he guessed, the ship was tipped to one side as it showed signs of falling out of space. As the trio got out of the room, the Ultra Mind was cut loose and slammed into the door. The structure was holding but it was clear had they stayed, they would’ve being crushed to death.

“All hands, abandon ship!” a voice over what was assumed the PA system shouted out over and over. Now they were certain they would be falling to Earth.

“Come on,” Lucus shouted. “We need to get out of here,” At that point, Lucus wasn’t too sure where to go. By now, the escape pods were being fired and used up. He wasn’t even sure if they survive the impact let alone walk away. Another wave of explosions occurred as by now, parts of the Hive Mind was tearing apart from the main super structure. At least their part was still holding together…for now.

Not wanting to wait on the others, Lucus made his way through the ship trying to find something else. He passed by a number of Aliens, one dropped what he thought was a computer. Picking it up, he looked about as his mind went back to the airliners he flew. Even when he was in the military, he was familiar with the crash position. Eventually, after walking through the hallways, he did find a room that fit to what he was hoping for. It had a series of chairs stuck together like those found on an airliner. They each had safety harnesses attached to them as he grinned at it.

Figuring the escape pods were already used and he had no idea how to pilot an aircraft of any kind, Lucus strapped himself and the computer in on separate chairs. He then proceeded to be in the brace position and await fate. At one point, he felt the surface heating and was convinced they had pass through Earth’s atmosphere. Then it went black.

Waking up later, Lucus found himself waking up from being knocked out. He had survived the crash landing, but in the process, he had broken one of his legs, cracked rib bones and maybe broke a few more bones in his body. He had blood dripping from a head wound as he started to feel dizzy and was trying not to pass out. Eventually, he heard gunshots outside.

The Crash site

4 Assault Divisions, including armour, mechanised and two infantry divisions, had rushed to the crash site to secure it. The Alliance had given up any rescue attempt but there was still more to worry about. Surviving members of the Alliance staggered out of the wreckage, amazed by what had happened and suddenly found themselves under fire.

Headmaster David Longshanks had being given the order to shoot to kill any Aliens found alive. He was also given orders to secure the crash site as Union came under martial law. Looking at the Aliens, he gave the orders to open fire as the 4 divisions fired upon the Aliens. The Aliens, wounded and staggering, opened fire first, believing they were still under final orders from the Ultra Mind. Fight to the death. However, the Aliens were not as organised compared to their previous attacks. This time, each species seem to act on its own accord. The Xeno and the Rake’s did fight down to the last creature. The Goatmen and the were-wolves tried to escape the hopeless situation and either found themselves cut down in their paths or they surrendered. The Reapers had slipped away and that left the Ultra Mind. The sphere the Ultra Mind was in was still attached to the ship when it fell and with the lacking of organisation, it would seem it was dead.

David watched as only a handful of the Alliance aliens had surrendered and were being taken away into custody. For once, the Humans had scored a victory. When he was satisfied with the result, David gave the order for Special Forces, Shadow Assassin’s, Vampiric Assassin’s and Commandoes to investigate the down ship.

Unaware of the armada massing on the edge of their galaxy.

MNS SALVADOR
Scylla-class Supercapital Ballistic Missile Command Control Submarine
Later that Night

President Henry Milano sat at the head of the table in the Command Room of the Mobile Command Center. This particular Scylla class had been heavily modified by Lyran and Mokan designers to serve as a third point to control the Federation's military in the case of full scale war. The advantage being the sub could stay mobile, surfacing only for communications and then hide as long as needed. Instead of being locked in a mountain, the Salvador could be practically anywhere, ensuring the fight continued on.

Or so was the theory.

Around the table sat members of the Security Council: Economic Adviser Manuel Diego, Foreign Minister Elizabeth Franshaw, Generalissimo Major Yuri Gorbechov, Primary Admiral Jesus Consuelo, and Director in Chief of the MBSA Steven Francisco. The Air Marshall was still on Juventud Island. Locked away in the MOPAD's Primary Command Centre. Though they had gone back to DEFCON 02, the Command Centres would not unlock until at least DEFCON 03.

Together the council watched satellite footage from the nuclear attack. 240 nuclear missiles fired, and the enemy fleet still managed to limp away. One ship was only damaged enough to crash into a colony of Lynion. Another did some strange trick where it disappeared, either teleporting away or self destruction or cloaking. no one had an idea what they were capable of.

"240 nuclear devices, and we could not ensure the total destruction of the alien fleet? Mankind.may be celebrating our victory over the aliens, but nothing should be able to survive over 240 megatons of nuke. I.understand the need for this moral boost, and I'll call you all heroes during my speech to the Federation after this meeting, but this victory is anything but. We got lucky."

The President scanned the table, all eyes were in agreement. This was a fluke, a lucky punch, what ever the Lynions possessed meant that they and they alone stood a chance.

"Director Francisco, how many men would you need to send to Lynion to figure out what they know?"

"With permission, a few hundred. Without, I would still assign at least 50 but it would take a lot longer."

"Elizabeth, contact the government of Lynion, get approval to send 400 Mokan agents to investigate the crash and any technology they have that helped out in this battle."

"Yes Mr. President."

In Esalonia...

Social media was filled with reports of explosions in the sky that lasted for over 30 seconds more-or-less. Furthermore what even baffled people was an "unusually large meteor" falling from the sky.

"#MegaMeteor What is this, some kind of an alien joke?" @Brandon_Hawkins, on Twitter.

Around YouTube was a viral video of explosions in the sky lasting for over 30 seconds and a large meteorite streaking along the sky.

Crash Site, with Lucus

"Ugh..." Captain Lopez pushed aside a piece of metal from his escape pod. To his left was the escape pod of Captain Chan, which was not opened. As the gentleman he was he tried opening the escape pod of Maxine, and there he found a fainted Maxine. He pulled her out of the ruined escape pod, carrying her in his arms.

As he turned his back, he saw a severely injured Master Lucus Longshanks. Lucus had a bleeding head, with a bloody head wound, and had a hard time trying to move.

Taclights scattered everywhere. Then gunshots, and alien screeches. Then mauling as a few aliens fought their last.

Captain Lopez placed Maxine on a smooth, and large, piece of metal, as he helped up Master Longshanks out from his escape pod, and placed him on a more comfortable place. He then decided to launch a flare, as he had a concealed carry flare gun and three flares-standard issue for all Esalonian Navy and Galactic Navy crewmen. He checked Captain Chan's pulse, and he fund a long interval between beats.

He decided to do what had to be done-he stacked his hands over her chest and placed pressure in an attempt to get her pulse to a healthy level again. He checked her pulse regularly. He thought of adrenaline injections as he had despair trying to revive the seemingly dead woman. But as what was said, it was only a last-ditch measure, and he thought it was not necessary.

"Help!" the Captain shouted in despair.

1st Grand March High Command

*SLAM* General Desrouleaux slammed a folder filled with files on the table. "Explain this shit to me."

"That looks like foul play, yes, but not one that can be naturally done by a human." replied a platoon leader.

"Then tell me how come sections of belt and deck armor being damaged without the rest of the ship being compromised." General Desrouleaux replied, angrily.

"That's not a charred edge, right?" a squad member said while pointing to what seemed like a hole on the deck armor.

"Obviously. It looks corroded, however. Take a look at this." said a squad leader as he grabs a picture of a door with a hole, with hinges and the door lock intact. "If acid was the cause of corrosion, I can't even imagine how they can pack this so much hydrochloric acid without issues."

"There were corpses with traces of hydrochloric acid, and a sac that somehow is not affected by the acid. Much like the stomach."

"That sounds all the more out from the human realm. No biological creature on Earth does this, and if they do then their stomachs shall be melting by now." the General concluded.

"That sounds...alien. Now, I'm very concerned of Aurum Vision picking up almost 200 nuclear warheads detonating in space, probably EMP strikes. What could they be trying to take out up there?"

"Where did the warheads come from?"

"Some from Mokastana, and some from Lynion. They need to explain this."

"Forward the findings on the nuclear warheads coming from Mokastana and Lynion towards the president, then have the rest of the files placed under Level 10 "Alpha" Information Security." ordered General Desrouleaux.

The Marble House, St. Ivalice, Esalonia

It was just another fine day of work for President Lance. Same shit, different day.

But not like what was placed on his files container just outside his office. He opened the file, which contained an article of about 200 nuclear warheads launched into space, and that they were from both Mokastana and Lynion.

He decided to send a telegram.

The crash site

Half of the 97th Armour Division and half of the 75th Mechanised Division had secured a manmade highway that would connect with the RVAF Pearce Airbase. They then were used to divert traffic off the highway, away from the crash site and secured the region. Other battalions were being called up to assist with securing the region. The airbase had secured the area and diverted all air traffic away from its sector.

At the crash site, the remaining half of the 97th and 75th were on guard duty with the 83rd Infantry Division. The 89th Infantry Division had secured the crash site and elements were assisting the engineering battalion to secure what technology they could find. Medics had heard the cry for help from someone and rushed over to where the noise was. A nearby crashed pod was the source of the outcry and the medics came across the trio.

“We’re army medics,” the officer called out as he went over to the woman with two other medics and started to try and bring her around and check on her status. When they stabilised her, they sent her off in an ambulance along with Captain Lopez. When they checked on Lucus, they called for another ambulance as they begun to stabilise him. They did however send off the computer that Lucus had come across to the technicians. They trio were being sent to the Royal Union Hospital in Chan’vax City.

David on the other hand was both relieved to see Lucus alive, but felt devastated from the sight of him. Yet, he tried to think differently and focus on the mission at hand. His staff went to work as they begun to comply a report to be sent back to the Temple. Engineers had managed to break through the outer wall of the ship and got inside.

After an hour later, they had found the armoury and the hanger bay. There was still arms left in the armoury and found 3 fighters, 2 bombers, an interceptor and two transporters were found in the hanger still intact. They had called a number of transporters to take away the starships to further understand them, but it’ll take some time to arrive. Arms from the starship was being secured and moved away to the airbase. However, it would take hours, maybe days, before they could fully secure and catalogue the entire ship. In addition, the central sphere was letting out a soft cry or moan. The engineers were having difficulty cutting through the ship itself. When they realised that the Xeno’s had something that could hold the acid, they attempt to make a bag that could carry the acid to where it was needed.

After about half an hour after getting the full report, he established a secure transmission back to the monarch.

“Sire, the crash site has being secured,” David started as the video call was established. “We have engaged the last Aliens who refused to surrender. They fought to the last and we engaged them accordingly. However, elements did surrender and we took a total of 12 prisoners. We haven’t found the captain or its staff but we suspect, they were killed on the strike or impact,” David explained to the monarch. Vamp nodded in approval.

“Has an off-site being secured?” Vamp asked him.

“Yes sire,” David confirmed. “Also, we have secured three Human survivors. Two Esalonia Captains and we have found Master Lucus Longshanks. They were…wounded heavily and sent off to Royal Union Hospital,”

“Good, I’ll call his wife to make sure she knows he’s alive,” Vamp took the load off him. “How are you holding up?”

“I’m amazed sire, this could send us centuries ahead of everyone else,” David explained as he showed obvious signs of distress.

“Good. Also, prepare to receive 400 Mokastana Agents. They helped us bring down and it’s only fair they get a share of the prize. I’ll contact the Esalonia Government and inform them that we have two of their officers hopefully safe and sound. In the meantime, keep it secured,” Vamp ordered as the line feed was cut.

RE: Alien Conflict

I appreciate your assistant with destroying the Alien Fleet, and in the name of international cooperation and benefiting all of Man Kind, you have the High King’s permission. I am permitting all 400 agents to access the crash site and RVAF Pearce Airbase where we are sending anything of value for further investigation. I only request your agents see Headmaster Longshanks when you arrive at the crash site so he knows you have arrived. He may have additional information for your agents. If you arrive at the airbase, your agents are to report to Master Tuskin so she can give you a full report.

I confess I’m surprised by this. If you must know, an alien fleet had arrived and started to fire upon Mokastana Forces. Though, I heard reports that Esalonia Space Forces were involved in the defense of Earth.

When the first counter strike failed to make a dent, the Vamperial Monarch and the Council had agreed on a joint nuclear strike. The massive counter attack and a cyber-offensive, was enough to get through and destroy their fleet. We noticed at min, two heavily damaged capital ships and four smaller crafts had slipped away heavily damaged. Though, I doubt they’ll get far in that condition. One of the capital ships did fall to earth and crashed on Union. It's being secured as we speak.

In addition, we have two of your captains in hospital. They seemed to have survived the crash. Once they have recovered, we'll send them back to Esalonia when they are ready to move.

What Rathma did, he did because he had emotions, not because he had a lack of them"

"Thank God we got two souls safe. Wait. An alien fleet?" the President said, with a face showing surprise.

"Well, the best guys we can ask about that is the Captains. And Captain Maxine Chan. Head of the ESS John Dave Havencross. In the meantime, we have managed to recover Captain Serafin Carson near the Triple Isles. He seems to be intact. And yes, that was from the GADZ." replied General Desrouleaux.

"I need to know what is that capital ship the Lynions are talking about. This alien nonsense somehow buggers me..."

"With due respect Mr. President, you have all the evidence about what the Lynions are talking about-just this official message is concrete evidence."

"Damn. I need a missive sent to the Lynion Vamperial High Council now. I need to know what is that ship they captured. How about a few boys from CIG and the National Armory?"

"Sounds good. Get ready 100 CIG agents and 100 National Armory scientists to be sent to Lynion."

"Right away, sir."

OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF ESALONIA
To: Vamperial Kingdom of Lynion, High King Vamp
From: President Gerard Lance, President of Esalonia

Greetings, glorious and honorable sirs and ma'ams.

Somehow the thought of hostile first contact with a non-human race buggers not just me, but almost everyone involved in the incident, like the 1st Grand March.

We need to know what is this "capital ship" you are speaking of, as it is very interesting. In the meantime, we are going to send 100 CIG agents and 100 scientists from the National Armory to at least have their share of information about what was recovered from the capital ship's crash site.

Sincerely Yours
