Freeman eyed Cole, then turned to the prince, "Can the Shurden Republic have to your complete support in this reunion. The Shurden Republic will support the reunion to the end. Its the Alexandria Government that I am worried about."

Cole stood up, "No, my government told to reject all proposals on reuniting under Luxan influence. Because of that, I will not approval of any reunion with Luxa."

And no, the Eastern Arsia Army could never not overwhelm the RLA. You may be able to capture Alexandria in the beginning, but in one year, the Republican Liberation Army and her allies will enter Vect, reuniting Arsia under the Arsian citizens and no foreign country will ever influence Arsia again. That is our promise if you go to war against us."

Freeman simply shook his head, "Jinx, if I may, the solution to our problem is to restore my government, the Shurden Republic, to power by force. Only then, will the possible reunion under Luxa may be possible. It is quite clear that the ARC will never reunite."

However, despite their fighting tactics, the Democratic Armed Republic of Northdeigo does supply the ARC with both economic and military supplies. We have also promised them troops for defense, except in the terms of reuniting. Now, that can be altered, for I have to warn you. These talks are for two sides of Arsia. If war comes, it must be settled by Western and Eastern Arsia only. You can still supply with supplies, but no foreign military intervention or troops of any kind, except for the medical corps . If any nation of the Luxan Empire intervenes, then I will deploy combat troops to aid the Republican Liberation Army.

Also, please note that there is currently 5000 Deigan citizens living and working in Western Arsia. There is also 6000 Continental troops deployed in the country, due to rising tensions and to evacuate the Deigans if needed. However, I will keep to my warning, if these troops or citizens are directly or indirectly harmed in anyway, we will intervene.

Jinx merely ignored the foolish and frankly silly notions of Cole. "Guards escort this lunatic out of my sights I don't wish to speak with him any further." The guards in the room don't waste any time in helping Cole exit the building using force if necessary but refraining from touching the man if at all possible. It is only once Cole has left that Jinx turns to freeman. "I agree. We need to force the current regime out and instill a new leader who will be more cooperative. However doing it by force seems very extreme, I think we could easily help new political candidate rise to power. There is no need to use hard power when soft power methods will work just as well in this situation. A few assassinations a lot of campaign funds and the create of a large organized crime syndicate will bring down the ARC before the reunification date."

Dear Dreadlord,

Nuclear weapons are the worst thing your government could do. Using or even threaten to use could quickly shift the war in favor of Western Arsia, as Coalitions will intervene as a result. I do believe you're well aware what happened to Port Charlotte. If you or Eastern Arsia attempt to use nuclear weapons, then Deigo will personally lead a coalition of troops into eastern arsia and crush the government of Vect.

Besides, the ARC isn't a political machine and isn't corrupt. the ARC are a coalition of democratically elected parties that was exile during the First Arsia Civil War, due to a dictator taking power. They currently hold favor of Zephyric, although I am not aware of why. However, my government will maintain diplomatic ties to the ARC, and continue supply them. Like I said, Northdeigo will intervene if foreign troops aid Eastern Arsia.

As soon the guards left, Cole made his way to a bathroom. Once he found one, he stepped inside and locked it. Then he pulled out his phone and made a encrypted phone call.
"Sir, the talks have failed. Now, Luxa has all it needs to launch something to overthrow the ARC. I don't know whether it would be military or an attempt on your life, but what ever it is, its not good."
Cole paused and listened to the voice on the other end. "I did warn them... um huh... alright, I will do my best. Goodbye sir." Cole hung up, knowing full well on what he had done.

Western Arsia President Gregory Sager put the phone down. He took a deep breathe, stood up, and turned to look out the window towards the night view of Alexandria. Sitting at chairs next to his desk was Director of Foreign Affairs Seamus Adams and Director of Defense Charles Manner.
"Talks have failed." He said quietly, then he turned around to face the two.
"I was hoping this day would never come, but here it is. Mobilize the Republican Liberation Army and..." He paused, "prepare the Shenandoah Protocol. Lets hope it's as good as they say it is." Adams and Manner left without a world, following Sager's command.

Also, I am not bluffing. I am simply trying to prevent a large scale war from breaking out. And no, we will do not bloody war. If blood is to be spilled, you'll be the first to do it. At this point, if war is the only thing left to reunite Arsia, then you must be the one to start it.

Jeremiah Cole’s outburst and Northdeigo’s threats were not well received by the Luxan government who felt that both nations were acting in an incredibly hostile manner. Throughout the week dozen of higher officials met in secret back rooms to discuss the matter. Chief among them was the Great Red Dragon who was advocating for the deployment of additional troops to Luxa’s bases in Arsia. Namely he thought that an additional three brigades would be enough to win any war that started and an additional Hydrus could wipe out any naval fleet sent to the areas.

The Witch Theagan however wanted to enact sanctions on both countries if they refused to support the reunification. In order to prepare for this she had sent out dozens of communications to other members of the Luxan Empire and international community until she amassed enough support either through reputation, coercion or cooption. The day after the reunification was supposed to take place she was ready to bring large amounts of Northdeigo’s trade to a halt and completely decimate West Arsia’s import and export industries.

Among these discussions was also The Benefactor and The Caesura who advocated a much different solution. They had drawn upon some of Luxa’s secret money reserves to gain some seven hundred million dollars which they planned on using to fiancé opposition to the ARC. Already they had several candidates lined up in the west who had a sizeable following. When the time came it would these new candidates who would be able to overtake the polls and potentially force the current leaders out.

However Operational Luxan Security always liked the plan one step ahead. That was why Tetra was in Caral in an apartment bought with hidden funds and looking over a list of activist groups in west Arsia. He was here with one major goal, to unite these various organization under one banner. Most of these groups were small local organizations; nature advocates, third parties, minority supporters or corruption watch dogs. However they all had one thing in common. They all wanted change and Tetra was going to focus that desire into hatred, fear and greed. He had the funds and skills to turn these mobs into an active and controller voter base or potential even a massive group of protesters.

The Arsia Republican Congress wasn't formed just to give up power so easily. If fact, the parties that formed the ARC once ruled the country in democratic state. However, the First Arsia Civil War bought the end of that, with the Labor Union of Arsia taking complete control of the country and exiling all democratic ones. But they were not to beat nor would they give up. They had promised the people of Arsia before they fled, that they were going to return and liberate their country, in order to reestablish democracy for generations to come. To order to make that dream come true, they united their armed wings and the remainder of the Arsian National Army, to form the Republican Liberation Army, nearing 100,000 strong. Then after the Zephyric-Arsia War, and raising their army to 500,000 strong, they invaded the west, establishing the democratic state they promised years ago. But now, their independence was threaten by the very nation they found with. Ready to defend what they had, they planned for the worst: war.

Just days after the talks failed, ARC government officials began preparing for the worst. Even more, they had to raise and mobilize new units for the RLA. President Sager hoped to have a total of a 200,000 troops in a year, a record breaking time, but like everything in this world, nothing ever went according to plan. However, a development along the border did bring worries to the ARC, so while preventing it from ending up in the public's hands,they sent it to Northdeigo, hoping they can help fix it. It was a picture of a man crossing the border.

Central Command: Dante, Northdeigo

With the picture arrival, Central Command gathered the 1st Battalion of the 5th Special Forces Group of the Continental Army and agents from the FACI (Federal Agency of Central Intelligence) to a top secret meeting at The Domus in Dante.

12 Continental Army Special Force soldiers, the Fourth Division of 1st Battalion, and four rookie agents of the FACI was brought into a sound proof room of the Domus. Then Major General George Raymond, along with Admiral Carlos Ramos, the new head of Central Command, came into the room. All 12 stood and saluted. "At ease." All 12 sat back down. Raymond took to the screen, while Carlos sat off to the side.

"I know you all are aware of why are you here so I don't need to explain." Raymond brought a picture on the screen that Western Arsia sent them, "This is Operational Luxan Security Agent Tetra. This picture was taken by a Republican Liberation Army sniper when Tetra was crossing the border from the West into the East. This occurred four days ago, right about the time the union talks failed. Because of the time of which he crossed and the agency he belongs to, we know he is up to something. We also have classified Tetra as a terrorist, because of what he does.

One of the soldiers raised his hand, "And what would that be?'
"Starting things that lead to overthrown of governments or worse, war." Raymond responded. "Now the ARC is well aware of this guys past, but let him past to prevent suspicions from rising. However, he is a very influential and thus, makes him extremely dangerous"
"So you want us to take him out?" Raymond shook his head, "Your mission is to track him and his activities to ensure that no Deigan citizen living in Western Arsia is threaten. Since the 1st Battalion is well trained for these types of missions, you have been chosen for this mission.

The four agents, two women to two men, rookies that have been on the force for about five years, spoke up, "Sir, why do you need us?"
"Good question. Since you four belong to the Office of Foreign Security of the Directorate of Support and that you four deal directly with citizens abroad, and your the best of your unit, Central Command has reassigned you to work with these guys, the Fourth Division on this mission."

Carlos then spoke up, "Remember, the government of Western Arsia has given us permission to work in their country to track this guy. You are simply there to maintain safety. However, if the citizens are threaten, eliminate the threat. Clear?"
"Clear sir."
Raymond continued, "Alright, at 23:00 tonight, you'll board a V-22. At 23:30, you'll board your transport, the destroyer Cairanet, which is bound to Alexandria, Arsia the following morning. You will receive your orders along the way. Clear?"
"Clear."
"Alright, dismissed."

Brent's Air Force Base/11:00 pm

Brent's was still active, even at these late hours. As the Fourth Division of the 1st Battalion arrive at the tarmac, they were all exhilarated. Walking towards the V-22 nicknamed Great Sadie, they could hardly contain themselves,
"Alright, men, we are going to make history." Everyone of them cheered. Major Marco Davis, commander of 4th Division yelled out as he walked backwards, "Everybody got their gear lined in and their victory cigar?" Nodding, he turned around, continuing his match the Great Sadie.

The four agents of the FACI, however, where less then pleased. "These guys are nuts. They can't be soldiers, let alone special forces." Said one the woman. "I can't believe they stuck us with them." One of the men sighed, "Well according to the records, these guys are the best at what they do. They have also seen action. But you are right, I have a hard time believing these guys are special forces."

Once boarded and strapped down, the pilots began the preparation to take off. "This the Great Sadie requesting permission to take off." The Pilots relayed to the tower, "You clear to take off." The pilots began to speed the engines up, then the V lifted off at 11:10 Northern Time. The V-22 shifted its engines towards flight position and preceded to fly towards the ocean.

The Great Sadie flew over Dante as it made its way towards the sea. The skyline was still lit, as it always was. But for the passengers on board the V, this might be the last time they would see the capital. After that, the V-22 flew over the ocean, making its way to the destroyer. Although a few whispers could be heard, the trip was mostly silent. A few even napped. Half hour later, one of pilots yelled back, "There she is." Everybody turned to look out the pilot's windows. There in the distance, was the lights of the destroyer Cairanet. The pilots had moved the engines into landing position and radioed the ship,"CNS Cairanet, this is Army Transport 4, requesting permission to land.". When granted, the pilots brought the V-22 around to the landing pad, bringing the V-22 down for a bit of bumpy landing.
"Alright lets go." Davis ordered his men off the V. Once on board the ship, the V-22 took off, heading back to Dante. Captain Dominic Ramsay then ordered to set course for Alexandra.

Joseph Rasputin was shocked when he opened his computer on the morning three weeks after the dismal discussion between the east and the west. His shock came from his bi-annual bank statement which showed that his saving had swelled tremendously from some sort of unknown source. Politics in the west had also been a profitable business but not nearly this profitable. He spent much of the day trying to figure out where the money had come from but the best he could figure was that it had been a deposit from an anonymous account in Eemeria.

Joseph wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do with this money or why he had gotten it but he planned on using it to further and help the people of his country. The Reformation League was bound to benefit much from this random “Donation” in their upcoming election.
