This roleplay should be set in such regions where terrorism is a threat (Middle East) but you can have exception of very small terrorist groups in other countries (that don't fight for the same reasons terrorist groups fight for in the Middle East).

The SS Mounty was a luxurious cruise liner that was commonly found transporting tourists from America to Creatle. It was state of the art and one of the most beautifully designed ships in the world. The passengers were all very rich as the cabins cost a fortune. The ship also contained a large security force as the threat by Somalian pirates was still a problem today, luckily they hadn't encountered any. The ship also contained a casino deck where the rich spent thousands of dollars on games and machines that basically stole there money. The ship was on a special course today as it was going to dock in the Caribbean's.

Keplar was a German colony, built on the small strip of land stretching from just a mile below Ho Chi Minh City to the Gulf of Thailand, from the South China Sea to the Cambodian border. The German colony's capital was burned down in a revolution immediately after the first World War, as a protest from German and native peoples that the German Imperialism would no longer be tolerated. The capital was replaced by Tra Vinh. But not all agreed with the decision.
They were occupied by Japan during the second World War, then freed by English-sponsored Burmese forces. This brought an end to the Militarized Dictatorship it was, and brought rise to the Authoritarian Democracy it currently is. It lost some support from the native Vietnamese population when it supported the American forces during the Vietnamese war, and barely held the Viet Kong and Cambodian forces at bay following the war. In the 70's and 80's, the Keplarian government, in an effort to bring in more industry and modernization, they opened up their borders to international companies. American and European companies took advantage of this, especially with the growing aerospace and arms industries. Keplar, to help the economy even more, began mimicking the manufacturing systems and building their own arms factories, which they then began to sell to the USSR, Middle East, and African nations. Withing two decades, it became an arms dealing mecca. In more recent years, with the increase in the education of the populace, the IT industry has grown as well.
So has the resistance-- those who want the old martial government back at best, and a return to rule under the new German government at worst. Recently, a member of the parliament has been indicted for affiliating with these resistance groups, which, when combined with past military failures and recent terrorist attacks, has resulted in distrust between the elected officials and a general distrust of the government at by the population. Race riots have also occurred at various, irregular points in time.

China Air Flight 27474, from Tra Vinh to Moscow. Somewhere over Kazahkstan
The Pilot yawned for a brief moment, shaking his head. His copilot glanced at him for a moment.
"You get enough sleep last night?" He asked, a small smirk crossing his face. "I know those Vietnamese girls don't last all night."
"Nah, I didn't get any game last night. I was too busy catching up on paperwork from our last couple of flights that I kept putting off."
"Ah, that's hardly an excuse!" he scoffed. "There was a girl last night, cute, maybe nineteen. I think her name was-- " The co-pilot was cut off by a loud boom, followed by the massive screeching of metal. The cabin pressure began dropping incredibly as alarms and screams were heard throughout the ship.
"All frequencies, this is an emergency broadcast from China Air flight 27474. Some kind of explosion has occurred on the plane, and we are attempting to make an emergency landing in a small lake in Kazakh--" He was cut off as the plane turned onto it's side, then smashed into the lake, killing all aboard.

Following an investigation by the Keplaran and Russian governments, it appears that a bulkhead of the plane, which was manufactured in Keplar, had been lined with explosives. The explosives ripped a hole through the side and bottom of the plane and ignited fuel lines going into the right wing, destroying it within the first moments of the attack. It is unclear whether these explosives were placed during the aircraft's construction or during one of its' stops at an airport. Further investigation is pending.

Ellen was 29, she recently finished her degree for architecture and already received a job for a Russian Shopping Complex. She booked the first flight possible and was in the air before she even knew it. There was a little child who was bawling his eyes out a few rows behind her, she never realised it until now how annoying it was for other passengers. Eventually the child stop and fell asleep exhausted. The cabin was quiet for a while only disturbed with minor turbulence that wasn’t able to wake the kid up. Then the cabin shook so violently that the cabin pressure dropped and her ears popped. Then a massive wave of air hit her face before she realised the plane was falling apart. It began tilting to one side before plunging out of the sky. The plane continued falling apart and the G-forces knocked everyone out, then her seat was torn off the plane and she flew out of the plane before landing in a huge lake…

CA 27474 - Crash Report:

Date: 28/04/15

I have concluded that this crash was not an accident. The way the plane has fallen apart and the damage sustained from the pieces we have recovered have shown persistent scorch marks around the top and bottom of the fuselage. It still is possible that something may have caught fire and exploded causing the crash but my main belief is that a bomb or bombs had been placed around the aircraft. One of the two black boxes have been recovered containing the last 30 minutes of the conversation recorded in the cockpit, it contains nothing that would be useful in my investigation, almost all of the passengers and crew have been recovered only a few had fallen out of the aircraft before impact, this also brought up another interesting point, the plane had begun tearing itself apart in mid air and a few passengers had fallen out before impact. The only passenger who is now unaccounted for is a 29 year old woman called Ellen Hope. She was born in Creatle, family and relatives will want to know what her fate was so we continue looking. Conclusion, possible terrorist attack with a bomb being planted inside the aircraft.

"Thank you, sergeant. Keep your men searching for that Creatlian girl." Lucille said, putting down the phone. The council room was silent as she and her advisers reflected upon the current situation. On the board at the end of the room in front of the oval table was a list of known terrorist events in Keplar during the last two years, from 2 years ago to the most recent:

~Government seized an oil rig being used as storage for about 3,000 pounds of illegal drugs and thousands of stolen, unregistered arms.

"They're building up to something." the Adviser of War said, pointing out the dates. "Look at it-- only one confirmed attack from the Loyalists last year, then three attacks this year. They just barely left a YouTube video saying that the China Air bombing was retaliation for seizing their oil rig-- which explains why they broke an aerospace engineer out of prison."
"So... what about that makes you think they're building up to something?" The State Adviser said, somewhat confused.
"They had thousands of arms seized, yet they still had enough firepower to bring down an airplane. Not only that, but on a part of it that was manufactured-- according to reports-- outside of our country."
This caught Lucille's attention. "Where was is made?"
The board on the wall zoomed in to a country far from theirs. Creatle.
"Call them. Call them right now."

Loyalists, somewhere in Creatle

The cool ocean air cooled the man's skin as he watched the freight container be lowered from the massive ship. As it landed on the dock, the man's seven men approached. Another group of three men approached from the dark. The moonlit sky barely afforded enough light to see each other beside the ship's hull.
"We had a deal. Which container is ours?" the man asked the group of three.
"Open this one up first." a woman asked, pointing to the man's container.
"Very well." two men opened the container, revealing dozens of Banana boxes stacked inside.
"What is this?" the woman asked as a large spider crawled out of one of the boxes, to be crushed by someones heel.
"Let's look inside." The man grabbed one, putting it on the ground. Pulling the lid off of the box, several bananas were on top. As he took them off, it revealed VZ-61's stacked high in the box. "See, the bananas are excellent camouflage. And these," He said, picking one up with his gloved hand and putting it under his jacket, concealing it, "are very easy to conceal. You could take them anywhere, such as, oh, I don't know..." He gave the woman an evil grin. "... a cruise ship?"
"Very well. Thank you for your business." the woman said, nodding to her men. They began to call the dockmaster, to bribe him into putting the banana container into their warehouse, not into theirs.
"Not so fast. Where's ours?" the man said, pulling the VZ-61 out of his jacket. "We had a deal."
"That we did. Right here." The woman opened up a container not too far away, revealing three massive crates inside. "These are filled with Semtex. There's enough in there to bomb every household in all of Keplar." Turning to the man, she asked, "Why did you want so much?"
"We have a very heavily fortified capital building." the man said, again with his evil smile. "We might even come back for more."

Ellen blinked her eyes. It was so dark, she could only see blurry images given off by the moonlight. She was in tremendous pain. She tried to stand up but instantly collapsed. She inspected her body, she had a huge cut above her eye and minor cuts along her body. She was scared and afraid, she couldn’t remember how this even happened. Where was she? She began losing consciousness again, she was lying still, her vision blurred even more as it began turning white. She was going to die, but felt at peace. She wasn’t scared anymore, nor afraid. Her vision was completely white before turning black. Nothing.

The ER wasn’t a very nice place. It consisted of people who were critically injured or dying, you would normally find crying families. The doors boomed open as doctors and nurses began running around, Ellen lay there, unconscious and bleeding heavily from her wounds. She was being wheeled to the operating room where she would be given top priority. She was on the verge of dying if the doctors didn’t act fast.

1 Hour later she was wheeled out of Surgery, she was put into a stable position inside the ICU but was to have an eye kept on her at all times. Her family had passed away in an apartment fire 5 years ago. All her relatives didn’t even know her.

3 Hours Later…

Ellen shot up and gasped for a breath, as if she was drowning. She yanked a lot of the wires connected to her and it sent waves of pain down her body. Her eyes were adjusting to the bright environment. Her eyes finally adjusted and she realised she was in a hospital, she was a bit drowsy and was absolutely starving. She lay back down thinking to herself, the last thing she could remember was lying on muddy beach in the dark. A nurse walked into the room, she was staring down at her documents.

"Hey" croaks Ellen.

The nurses eyes shoot up, she was clearly startled and bolted out the door before saying anything. Ellen was a bit slow in reactions and it took her a few seconds to realise that she was probably going to fetch the doctor and sure enough a doctor followed by the same nurse walked in a few moments later.

"Hello Ms Hope," Says the doctor in a surprisingly cheerful mood, "How are you?"

"Umm…Okay" Ellen Replies.

"That is good," The doctor says as he grabs a miniscule flashlight out of his pocket and shines it in Ellen's eyes, "Do you remember anything?"

"No not really," She says sluggishly, "Where am I?"

"Your in the Moscow General Hospital" He replies pocketing the flashlight, "I've been ordered to not answer any more of your questions, the detective will be here shortly"

The doctor left followed quickly by the nurse. She was absolutely clueless about what happened. Was she in a car accident? All she could remember was being excited about something and then something with a dark beach. So Strange, it was nagging at her that she could remember.

10 Minutes Later…

Ellen was given a meal to eat and she cleaned the plate, she was feeling better but was still extremely weak. A man wearing a fancy suit walked into the room, he looked to be in his late 30's, but had a strong physic.

"Miss Hope?" Asked the man, "Ellen Hope?"

"Yes" replied Ellen, "Who is this?"

"Detective John William. UPR Air Crash Investigator," He replied, "Ellen, can you remember anything last night?"

"No, did I do something wrong?" She replied.

"Last Night a SES worked found you lying in the mud next to a lake, you were hardly breathing and you were airlifted to this hospital. It’s a miracle you are even alive, especially since you were the only survivor," He replied, "You were on CA 27474 when your plane exploded over Kazakhstan, we don’t know yet but we suspect it was an act of terrorism"

Waves of memories flooded back, she could remember everything. The silence before the plane exploded, and the screams of the other passengers and the terrifying moment when her seat was torn from the aircraft and she was launched into the dark night.

Ellen began to cry and began hyperventilating, alarms sounded as a nurse rushed in.

"She's having a panic attack, if her heart rate increases to much she'll go into cardiac arrest," the nurse explained as she extracted morphine from a bottle, "She lost a lot of blood before we found her and there isn't enough to go around her system"

The nurse injected the needle into Ellen's arm, she began calming down before slipping into her dreams. The detective was shocked, he shook his head and stood up.

He muttered to himself, "Well that ballsed up"

After discovering more incriminating evidence I have confirmed that bits of explosives devices and unidentified pieces were discovered stuck to the fuselage of the plane. I have now confirmed that this has been a terrorist attack on Chinese Airlines. I have yet to identify who is responsible for this but a single passenger has survived the crash. Ellen Hope was found, almost dead, on a muddy incline towards a lake that was roughly 1 KM from the crash site, its a pure miracle she has survived this. She's in a stable condition but I haven't been able to ask her any questions. Some more information that could be useful in to identifying the ones behind these attacks are where the parts of the plane have been manufactured. Main sections of the fuselage were constructed in Creatle, these are where the explosives were placed so I suggest that a thorough investigation on the factory that's had constructed it. I also advise placing airlines on high alert.

After hearing the conformation that the plane incident was a terroist attack president Schmoo Saclev made made spech that was aired on Mierinsk, Russian, and Chines television stations. Sending his condolences to the family's that lost loved ones in the attack. He had started and confirmed that he will work with bothe the Russian and Chineas government to trace the terror suspect. After his broad cast Shaclev waited till camera crew and every one else had left his office one every one had left but him President Shaclev had picked up a phone line to Moscow and waited for the Russian President to pick up the phone

A major breakthrough on the discovery of how CA 27474 crashed was unearthed today as dozens of shipments of Semtex were discovered in the docks in Creatle. Police are now on high alert and detectives are reviewing security footage of the docks in the past week. The sole survivor of the crash is yet to reveal any information as she has now be put into a critical condition as a masked hit man attempted to kill her in her hospital bed last night, she has suffered multiple stab wound in the stomach and police now have the hospital under 24/7 surveillance with two officers protecting her at all times. The masked hit man managed to evade the police and has disappeared off the map. More at 11.

Joshua sat next to her sister in her bed. He was the only one who was allowed inside her room apart from her regular doctor and police. She barely survived the crash and now she's been stabbed in the hospital bed, why would someone want to kill her? When he heard her sister was in hospital originally he didn't quite understand. Then he was told she was on CA27474 and was the only survivor, and had been stabbed in her hospital bed. He was devastated and rushed straight to National Woman's Hospital in Creatle. She was moved from the hospital in Russia a few days before she was stabbed and brought back to Creatle. She was constantly moving in and out of consciousness and it was only for a few minutes at best. Joshua was also placed under police protection, he was a target and wasn't allowed to go anywhere without a officer within 20 meters of him. Ellen was the only family Joshua had left. There parents were killed in an apartment fire when he was 7 and they taken in by there Grandmother who died 2 years ago. He couldn't stand being alone in this world if she died.

Valdamat was sitting in his run-down apartment eating his microwave meal. He was in his 40's and was an ex-spetsnaz. He was the one responsible for the death of 201 people aboard CA27474. It should have been 202 if it wasn't down to a brush of luck with that girl, she should have died along with everyone else. Now she was a huge risk to their main plan, she could have seen the suicider walk into the bathroom and plant both explosives. Valdamat sent a hit man to finish the job but he cocked it up and now she's being guarded by armed police. Their next target was going to be the massive Hydroelectric dam that powered half of Keplar's capital city alone. With a factory full of Semtex and a massive concrete structure, they were going to wreak havoc down upon them.

A young, nervous man stood in the tree-lined plaza in front of the Senate, this is going to be his first day as the new secretary to Grand Senator Alia Ostand. He was originally from one of the last "primitive" areas of Equusia, an area which resisted the "end times" of the modernization and was eventually made a protected area by the government. When the young man was 18 the news network "Equusia Today" was granted access to the primitive area and held an interview with him; he was enthralled by the technology of the news crew and stories they brought with them of the "City of Glass". Much to the distaste of his parents the adventurous young man left with the news crew to the capital city of Wellpine... He knew nothing of this world, with its constant lights, odd clothing and foreign food, but he continued on in search of a job and adventure. After living on government subsidies for 4 months and adapting to this new place he decided he wanted a career in politics, however his application to Wellpine University was declined. He refused to give up and traveled to the city of Amuli to pursue his goal, and after a very lengthy interview was accepted into the university. 4 years have passed since the young man attended the university where he had gained his degrees in politics and economics, and now the very lucky, and very nevous man gets to start his career.

As he looked up at the large, glass domed Senate building, surrounded by trees and illuminated by the morning sun he simply wondered, wondered what Alia Ostand was like and wondered what responsibilities he may have. He straightened his new tie and trying to clear all doubt took a large breath, attempting to march bravely up and stairs to the building entrance. He opened one of the large glass doors into a fairly large reception room with a few benches, guards and a very bored old man sitting behind a desk at the back of the room.
"State your name and business." the old man barked
The young man was frozen in doubt and anxiety, "Sam... Samuli." he muttered.
The old man shot out of his chair and leaned over desk, "For the sake of the spirits boy, how many times do I have to say it?!" the irritated old man yelled, "State your name and business!"
Samuli was surprised and frightened by the unkempt negativity of the man, but proceeded to the desk where he laid his identification, "I'm Samuli Kenstand, I'm the new secretary of the Grand Senator"
The old man glanced back at his computer screen, Samuli and his ID, "So you're the lucky one who gets to serve Ostand her morning marijuana, huh?" he chuckled sarcastically, "Hopefully she likes you more than she liked the previous one... Take the door on your right, continue down the hallway to the right until you reach the office with her name on it."

Samuli walked down the long hallway until he reached her office, he took a deep breath and prepared himself to meet her, "She couldn't be worse than the receptionist." He mumbled to himself, trying to reassure himself and muster more courage. "Come in" he heard Ostand say. Samuli creaked open the door to see Grand Senator Alia Ostand sitting at her desk looking tired and worn with her greying brown hair pulled back into a bun. Alia Ostand is the fourth leader of Equusia, and like all older people was able to see the modernization first-hand. At age 30 she traveled to the United States to learn politics, history, algebra and economics among others, she excelled in most subjects besides chemistry. Alia returned to Equusia when she was 36 and ran for the Provincial Representatives as a head of a new Social Liberal party and after serving 12 years as a Provincial Representative she ran for the Senate alongside many other Social Liberals in an attempt to gain more power and balance out the Libertarian-Isolationist control. Due to a massive, successful media campaign launched by her the Social Liberals controlled a large minority in the Senate, and after 1 term the Social Liberals control a majority. Empowered by her success she launched a campaign to become Grand Senator in 2013 where she a plurality by 43% of the vote. She is generally well liked by inner-city people, however she has a hard time swaying the minds of the rural population and faces a new political threat.

To whom it may concern,

The Queen of Halling, H.M Margaret II died violently in her palace, Hannover.

She passed away at 3.15pm at Royal Lodge, her Hannover residence, Hannover Palace announced.

Her death came six weeks after her last public appearance when she addressed the public at a charity meting for cancer.

The cause of her death has already been met with uproar across Halling, from Belfast to Cork, the cause of her death was a terrorist attack on two palaces in Halling, these places include both Hannover palace and the capital palace, a very famous tourist attraction, Holbeck Palace.

This terrorist attack began with a hijacked Boeing-747 flying and crashing directly into Holbeck Palace, the estimated deaths being 200 and 50 wounded. Another plane then flew into Hannover Palace destroying it and its residents completely, with 700 deaths and 70 wounded, however thankfully the only part of the royal family in the palace was, indeed Queen Margaret.

Following these two crashes all Hallingish airspace was closed and all flights outbound and inbound or even just near, were ordered to land at the nearest airport

The Prime Minister, P.M Robert Watson has this to say,

Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very sovereignty came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts.

The victims were in airplanes or in their posts -- secretaries, servants, military and federal workers, including the famed Hallingish guard. Moms and dads. Friends and neighbors.

Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror.

The pictures of airplanes flying into the two buildings, fires burning, old and ancient structures collapsing, have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness and a quiet, unyielding anger.

These acts of mass murder were intended to frighten our nation into chaos and retreat. But they have failed. Our country is strong. A great people has been moved to defend a great nation.

She had outlived her husband King Robert by 50 years and had become a much-loved national institution.

Parliament said: "Prince Philip, with the greatest sadness, has asked for the following announcement to be made immediately: his beloved mother, Queen Margaret, died in a terrorist attack in her sleep this afternoon at Royal Lodge, Hannover."

The Queen Mother's coffin is expected to be taken to the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Belfast Great Park tomorrow morning.
