Although the overall course of all recent battles seemed to constantly be fluctuating between the Ocidenian Military and the ONLF-OPLF, the recent duration of the war seemed to be leaning closer towards rebel progress, as the opposition factions were seemingly making more gains in comparison to the regular army. Given the ongoing instability in the capital city Paradisa and the power over the country practically slipping out of Brozhav’s hands, it seemed that the control over Ocidenia would be returning to its people very soon. The most important thing now was not to give up and go all the way forward towards victory. This was what the ONLF, the OPLF, the political opposition and the common citizens of Ocidenia realized and that is why they were all standing side by side in this final fight for the freedom of their homeland.

Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav dead of apparent suicide at 50

The crisis in Ocidenia takes a rapid, shocking and most likely fatal turn, as the remains of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav had been discovered with a gunshot wound to the head at the State Palace, Paradisa. The injury is suspected to be self-inflicted.

Shocking news from the capital city Paradisa. Although it was expected that this ongoing crisis in our country might claim the lives of major political figures and known people in Ocidenia, it seemed to be unlikely to the nation that this particular person might end up one of the victims. It has just been reported from the State Palace that the Prime Minister of Ocidenia Simeon Brozhav, the head of state, has been found dead in his office in the main government headquarters in Paradisa. The approximate time of the discovery is 8:45 a.m Central Standard Time, while not even an approximate time of death is still unknown.

The Prime Minister’s body was discovered by his personal secretary, who has called the emergency services, immediately after the shocking sighting. The arrived medical teams did not take any action upon their arrival however, as the Prime Minister’s remains were found in a pool of blood with a transparent gunshot wound in the head, while the body temperature had already dropped significantly, leading to the assumption that the death had occurred hours or even days before the discovery of the remains. The Paradisa Police Department (PPD) has carried out an early examination of the Prime Minister’s office, searching for potential signs of a break-in into the State Palace as the initial belief was that Prime Minister Brozhav had been assassinated. However, despite their best attempts, the officers had failed to discover any signs of a break-in or even a potential fight having occurred between the Prime Minister and his assassin/assassins. On the contrary, the Prime Minister’s office was said to be tidy. After examining the area closer, the officers had discovered a handgun right next to the Prime Minister’s remains, leading to an arising of another theory that Prime Minister Brozhav’s death was allegedly self-inflicted or, in other words, a suicide. According to the PPD, currently all possible theories are open as the initial course of the event has yet to be discovered. At the moment, no new information is available, as a special investigation has been launched by the authorities to discover what has truly lead to the death of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav. Currently, concerns plague the State Palace over the safe transportation of the remains of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav to a mortuary, due to the ongoing unrest in the capital city. It is initially believed that the body would have to even be transported to a mortuary outside the country.

In honor of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav, the national flags all across the country will be either lowered or will have black ribbon placed over them. The administration has announced that Ocidenia would be placed in a state of national mourning for a not-yet-determined amount of time. Spokesmen for the government have announced that searches among the national diplomats and officers are currently being conducted in pursuit of finding a right temporary replacement Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav, as a provisional head of state. We will keep you informed as these unfortunate events develop.

Brozhav takes his own life fearing to face trial for his crimes

In order to avoid punishment for his crimes, while following orders of Bethlehem, the self-proclaimed Prime Minister of Ocidenia and an agent of the Luziycan CIA Simeon Brozhav commits suicide, while hiding from opposition at the State Palace

Image

Today is a glorious day in Ocidenia. The state media has reported this morning that the tyrant installed into power by the CIA of Luziyca that was Simeon Brozhav, is no more. Out of fear of being prosecuted for his crimes against Ocidenia and the international community, the puppet dictator of Bethlehem taken his own life, at least that is the most likely theory of what had happened, as an investigation has been launched to figure out what has commenced in the State Palace, Paradisa indeed. Nevertheless, it does not matter what truly happened, as the most important thing is that “Prime Minister” Simeon Brozhav is no more. At the moment, the remaining puppet administration is trying to keep the unrest in Paradisa and the rest of Ocidenia under control, while desperately attempting to choose a replacement for Brozhav. Although the government might still have hopes that this process might save their regime from collapsing, we all know the truth that control over the country is slipping out of the hands of the Luziycan-backed regime, as the people of Ocidenia are reclaiming their land from foreign imposters. Now, is the hottest stage of this revolution and the nation must not give up if we want to get our freedom back.

Ocidenians celebrate the outing of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav

The nation has openly shown its reaction to the demise of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav, viewing it as liberation from a tyrant and not loss of its beloved leader

Image

The reaction of the Ocidenian people to the recently reported death of our country’s leader - Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav, has shocked many among the administration. Despite the state of national mourning having been declared across Ocidenia to pay respects to the fallen head of state, the unrest in the capital city Paradisa has been halted by the opposition itself, as more people have taken to the streets to express their joy over the demise of the man, whom they seemingly considered a tyrant. Currently, despite the presence of military and police forces around them, the citizens of Paradisa have begun an unstoppable wave of celebrations across the city, expressing their joy louder than at any festival that the country has ever had or that any country in Esquarium overall has ever hosted. Despite the urge by the Ocidenian Military, the Paradisa Police Department, the National Guard and the special riot management forces to intervene and halt the celebrations out of the sake of moral decency, the administration has currently taken no action of conducting anything of the sort, thus not giving any forces loyal to the government any obligation or right to stop this chaos. Therefore, Paradisa continues celebrating.

However, this is the case not only in the capital city. Many other parts of the country, which have not yet been fully deserted over the course of the civil war, have expressed uncontrollable joy either. This expressive euphoria by the nation has especially been bright in the OPLF-held territories in southern Ocidenia and the ONLF-held territories in northern Ocidenia, while the central areas of the country, which still remain under the control of the Ocidenian Commonwealth Armed Forces, have had lower-level celebrations, although the majority of the civilians still did not hide their happiness, despite the presence of the army right at their door step. It is unknown whether the administration will dare taking any action to stop this disrespectable display of joy at the face of the leader’s demise, as the administration has stated that it is currently more focused on hosting the investigation at the State Palace, where attempts continue to discover the true cause of the death of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav.

According to even some reports coming from the battlefield, the fighters of ONLF in the north and OPLF in the south have briefly ceased fire against the position of the Ocidenian Military and started letting out indecent roars of cheering amid fresh news of the Prime Minister’s demise. However, this display did not last long, as the terrorists soon returned back to fighting against the regular army. Although this expression from the ONLF and OPLF terrorist factions is understandable, as their main enemy, who has been putting in all effort to fight them in protection of the Ocidenian people, has fallen, however, the members of the administration itself continue to claim that they are shocked and appalled by this reaction from the Ocidenian people and that they will definitely not condone it or tolerate it for long. We will keep you informed as events develop.

Opposition, military defectors and citizens head for the State Palace

Luziycan-backed government in trouble, as the entire nation has blended together to overthrow the administration, which turned Ocidenia into Bethlehem‘s puppet

Image

Although the rejoicing over the demise of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav still continues across Ocidenia, such atmosphere in the capital city Paradisa has apparently toned down. The opposition has once again decided to continue its march towards the capital city Paradisa in order to remove the ruling government and although it might seem like this attempt is nothing new, knowing they had attempted to achieve this for a long time now and without result, the administration fears that this time the chances of them being successful are higher than they ever were throughout the course of the entire civil war.

This time, the Ocidenian Commonwealth Armed Forces and the National Guard have been seeing the sky-rocket amount of defectors among their ranks, who are joining the ranks of the opposition as their armed protection, while the Paradisa Police Department and the special riot management forces are putting down their weapons in refusal to halt the protests any longer, instead even deciding to join the ranks of the people pursuing the ousting of the government. In addition, the opposition has been growing more than ever, as larger amounts of local citizens are coming out of their homes and even arriving from cities of the country, joining the ranks of the protesting masses pursuing the government in the State Palace. Multiple sources speculate that by this time, practically the entire population of the large capital city Paradisa, has now joined the opposition against the administration. It is believed that because of realization that they would no longer be able to fight against such large masses, no matter how much weapons they have at their possession, is why the army, the police and the special forces have decided to surrender and join the other side.

With all forces that were responsible for the protection of the government now having either fallen apart or defected to the other side, the administration has realized that it now could only rely on the security of the State Palace as their only protection, although chances are pretty low that this force would be enough to control the wave that is coming towards them. The current government is now practically counting hours left until the power is taken out of their hands. We will keep you updated on the ongoing events. Stay tuned.

Investigation results confirm: Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav has indeed killed himself with the deed being captured in the Prime Minister's final video message

An investigation carried out at the State Palace, Paradisa, amid the ongoing turmoil across the country, has confirmed that Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav has indeed died by his own hand. Paradisa Police Department has released footage from the the Prime Minister’s final video message, which captured the suicide itself

Image

As it is already known to most of you, today the Paradisa Police Department has announced that the investigation being carried out in the State Palace in pursuit of finding the initial cause of death of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav, has officially been concluded, after the investigators had seemingly discovered an uncontested piece of evidence that has immediately closed an entire investigation. However, upon making the discovery, the investigators refused to reveal it at first, stating that they would only unveil the undisputed evidence at this evening’s news conference from the PPD headquarters. Well, that very same news conference is about to begin any minute, as the press and the media had already gathered to capture the event, while the captain of PPD is already seen walking to the podium to make the address. Therefore, our dear viewers, we must now cut the Paradisa Police Department headquarters, where the long-awaited unveiling of the true cause will now take place:

On July 22, 2015, at approximately 8:50 a.m, a phone call was received from the State Palace, the grand government headquarters situated in the capital city Paradisa of the Commonwealth of Ocidenia. The caller reported of the discovery of a male body, which was found on the floor in a pool of blood with a highly visible gunshot wound in the head. The caller identified the body as belonging to the serving Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Ocidenia – Simeon Brozhav and stated by that, based on personal observation, the Prime Minister had seemingly been assassinated. Emergency response services immediately headed to the State Palace to examine the scene and provide any form of aid, if it would have still been necessary.

Upon arrival, the identity of the remains has been determined and the reality had coincided with the caller’s statements, as the body was identified as indeed belonging to the serving Prime Minister of Ocidenia Simeon Brozhav. The medical services had classified the Prime Minister as deceased immediately after a closer examination. Much of the scene looked much like what was described by the caller, who was the personal secretary of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav during his term in office. The head was pierced with a large transparent gunshot wound, while the body temperature had dropped significantly, leading to an assumption that the remains were already stale and that the death might have occurred hours and days before the initial discovery.

Upon closer examination of the scene, the officers of the PPD have attempted to discover signs of the first initial theory of the occurrence, which was assassination. This particular possibility seemed to be especially accurate considering the ongoing unrest in the country and the vast opposition to the ruling administration of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav. What was also taken into consideration, was the fact the caller had made a similar assumption of the occurrence, thus leading to an additional reinforcement of the possible theory and consideration of surroundings and clews that might have led to such a conclusion. However, upon another examination of the scene, the office was classified as not having contained any signs of a break-in or a potential skirmish having broken out between the Prime Minister and his supposed assassin or assassins, while the State Palace overall did not contain signs of breaking in either, as additional examination of the building itself has been carried out as well. Although a supposed fight between the deceased and his alleged attackers was not necessarily recognized as the only possible piece of evidence that would reinforce the assassination theory, this particular scenario had been temporarily put aside and other theories then came under investigation.

Later, the officers were able to discover a handgun near the remains of the deceased, which lead to the arising of any potential theory, which was suicide. Once the close examination of the scene had been concluded, the State Palace was shut down for a full-scale investigation, where all elevated theories would be taken into consideration, was launched. The process was expected to last an approximate period of days and weeks, however, the investigators were able to discover an uncontested piece of evidence, which immediately revealed the initial cause of death of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav and therefore the investigation was immediately closed.

At this point, I personally and the entire Paradisa Police Department had been instructed by the administration of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav to present a fabricated conclusion of the case, which was supposed frame either the political opposition, the protesters or the rebel factions of the Ocidenian People’s Liberation Front (OPLF) of the south and the Ocidenian National Liberation Front (ONLF) of the north as the perpetrators of the crime, which was the assassination of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav. The theory that the government has ordered us to present was that the Prime Minister had been assassinated by a member of either ones of the present anti-government parties, in order to give the administration the right to use maximum force against any and all opposition, classifying it as a threat to the country. Although our department was initially forced to comply with the demands of the administration on the spot, when preparing to close the investigation, I can now bravely speak the truth during this live broadcast through multiple sources of media, as I know that my words had not just been captured on film and could be deleted or edited later, but that now, as I am saying this, hopefully the majority if not all of this country’s population is listening to me, as I unveil the true face of our current government, which has been lying to us during its entire period in power.

We now confirm that Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav has indeed died by his own hand and that his death was officially a suicide. During the investigation, no signs of break-in were discovered neither anywhere across the State Palace, nor into the office of the Prime Minister. There were no signs of any fight having occurred between Brozhav or his supposed assassin or assassins. No finger or foot prints of any other people apart from Brozhav were found anywhere at his office, not even his secretary, who was only working from her desk and rarely entered the office. The handgun found next to Brozhav’s remains, only contained the finger prints of Brozhav himself and it was laid in a position, which showed that the gun was indeed dropped by the deceased, after he had shot himself. Finally, Brozhav personal mobile phone was found on his desk with a note laying right next to it, which contained the words – “The Truth.” The mobile phone contained footage with Brozhav’s revelation of all truth regarding his time as the Prime Minister of Ocidenia and him admitting that he had decided to take himself out, before the opposition or the international community could capture him and force him to face trial for his crimes. Due to the video being long and with a high chance that the government might soon either disrupt this news conference or cut of the broadcast, we had only chosen the most important short fragment from Brozhav’s final video message, which reveals the whole truth about this fallen tyrant. We are now going to show it on the video projector on the side, therefore we ask for your attention.

I’m a patriot and as a true patriot, I believe that I had done everything right and regret nothing. A true patriot is ready to do everything for his country, which includes breaking the supposed international norms and ultimately risking his life in the process. That is exactly what I did. And I believe that I will be rewarded for my accomplishments in the kingdom upstairs, while my homeland will remember me as a hero. I’m leaving now, before you, inferior people, could get your dirty paws on me and prosecute me for proudly serving my country. Goodbye to all of you and to all those, who had opposed me, I had already won and you have lost. See you on the other side.

Opposition takes the State Palace: Government officially dissolved

Ocidenia officially faces a regime change, as the pro-Luziycan administration gets overthrown by the opposition.

Image

It is officially over. The administration of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav has collapsed and the power over the country has fallen to the opposition, which has declared that it has taken Ocidenia back for the people. The revolution has commenced approximately minutes ago, as the opposition, the protesters, the military defectors, the common citizens and everyone else, who had supported the uprising against the government, had officially stormed the State Palace, overpowered the local security and forced the remaining members of the administration to officially surrender to the revolutionaries. Moments after this was achieved, the opposition has declared the dissolution of the government of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav and official reinstatement of democracy in the country, as Ocidenia has gotten rid of its puppet leadership installed by Luziyca and would now have a chance to elect its own new government, which would once again serve the nation, rather than foreign manipulators.

Nobody was hurt during the ambush on the State Palace and the members of the overthrown administration are currently being held captive by the revolutionaries, who await for the Paradisa Police Department to take over the arrest. Reports are already coming in from all across the country that due to the government being overthrown, the Ocidenian Commonwealth Armed Forces are no longer obliged to comply with the orders given by the toppled administration and therefore the forces of the regular army had been spotted ceasing fire and withdrawing from almost all of the frontlines one by one, unit after unit, division after division. Meanwhile, sightings are already incoming from all across the country of people running out into the streets and letting out massive cheers of joy and euphoria, following the recent news.

The rebel fighters of the ONLF in the north and OPLF in the south have also been reported as having ceased fire on the frontlines and permitting the Ocidenian Military to withdraw its forces, while the rebels themselves have been sighted as dropping their rifles on the ground and massively cheering along with the rest of the nation, giving out high fives, hugs, even kisses, as they had realized that the fight for the freedom of Ocidenia has finally been won. In compliance with the fresh changes in the country, the OCTV national network of broadcasting would like to declare its recognition of mistakes that our network has made and apologize for the crimes of disinformation that we had been committing during Brozhav’s reign in the country. We had now realized that all this time, we had been nothing more, but the government’s major tool of propaganda, however, we would like to inform that it was never our networks intention as we were simply fulfilling our functions. Stay tuned to see the further development of these events.

VICTORY: Luziycan puppet regime overthrown – Democracy returns to Ocidenia

ONLF and OPLF jointly celebrate triumphant victory, as the Brozhav regime has officially been removed from power, while the joint actions of the rebels and some foreign supporters have helped defeat the Ocidenian Military

Image

Ocidenia is finally free. Following the fresh news of the puppet administration of “Prime Minister” Simeon Brozhav having finally been removed from power, thus marking the end of Luziyca’s grip over our country, the fighters of the ONLF in the north and OPLF in the south have both ceased fire and put down their weapons, in order to engage in celebrations along with the rest of the liberated nation. Mass cheering has already erupted not only across the rebel-held areas, but even the central parts of the country, which have generally remained under the government control throughout the majority of the civil war, thus demonstrating that there were no alternative approaches to the Brozhav administration – the entire nation wanted him and his goons out of power and now they dream has been fulfilled.

With the end of the regime’s reign in Ocidenia, the country’s military – the Ocidenian Commonwealth Armed Forces, which has been loyal to the government, has also ceased fire and begun the withdrawal of forces, weaponry, military equipment and other hardware from the frontlines. This is due to their orders no longer having validity, as the government, which has issued them, not only no longer holds power, but has ultimately been dissolved. However, from observations of the regular army’s latest performance in the battlefield, both rebel factions – the ONLF and OPLF speculate that the Ocidenian Military has also lately been starting to see the truth in what has actually been happening in the country and had started experiencing a change of heart, no longer wishing to be at war with its own people and to serve a fake oppressive regime, which has sold Ocidenia to a foreign power. This has especially been visible by the sky-rocketing level of defectors from the Ocidenian Military into the ranks of OPLF and ONLF, which has been almost an everyday occurrence in the past period.

Upon putting down their weapons, the rebels of the OPLF in the south and ONLF in the north started celebrating their joint achievement right on the spot. The expressing of their joy included hugs, brotherly kisses, high-fives and louds roars of joy. Reportedly, this has not only been the case among the ranks of the rebels, but also among the ranks of the Ocidenian forces as a large number of them has also been seen rejoicing over the regime changes as loudly as intensely as the rebels and the common citizens. Although many might speculate that this is just an act in order to avoid aggression and blend in, the closer look displays a truly honest expressing of joy, as this emotion is not that easy to effectively act out.

The rebel positions in the north and south have been seen not only celebrating, rejoicing and congratulating each other among the ranks of their own factions however. The ONLF and OPLF, whom many speculated were only affiliated with each other in order to remove the common enemy Brozhav, after which they would move on to each attempt taking power, have demonstrated that they have remained allies even after the end of the war, as the leaderships of the two rebel factions have already exchanged congratulations to each other. In addition, despite seemingly radically representing each their own ideologies, the fighters from rebel factions have already been spotted taking down their own secessionist versions of the national flag of Ocidenia and replacing them with the current flag of the Commonwealth, which they originally refused to fly with Brozhav in power. Now that Ocidenia has been reclaimed for its people again, the traditional national flag once again flies in all parts of the country. This is just one of many occurring signs that the rebels were not fighting for power, but were indeed fighting the freedom of their mutual land.

Ocidenia celebrates liberation from Luziyca’s dominance

The nation is consumed by joy and euphoria, as the people of Ocidenia celebrate liberation of their country from being a puppet of foreign powers

Image

All of Ocidenia is currently unanimously celebrating their long-pursued and recently-won liberation from the reign of the administration of Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav, which many believe has been put into power in Ocidenia by the CIA of the Christian Republic of Luziyca a certain period ago. The capital city Paradisa currently remains the center of the country-wide celebrations, due to this being the location, where this historical liberation occurrence had taken place, however, other cities, towns and inhabited areas all across the country are celebrating and rejoicing no less intensely.

The celebrations across the country currently hold no formal status, as the rejoicing is generally taking place in a form of public display of joy initiated by the citizens. However, from observations, many agree that the amount of people involved and the level of excitement overpowers many notorious festivals, not only in Ocidenia, but on the international level. Fireworks have been rocking the country’s skies all day, from early morning until today, with people even overlooking some public norms and popping open champagne bottles right on the street. Although no signs of vandalism or uncontrollable and even public order threatening excitement has yet been detected anywhere, the police all across the country are keeping a close watch over the events and are currently operating as independent departments, due to Ocidenia currently not formally not having a national government.

It is not yet known how much longer will the celebrations continue, however, some politicians from the opposition party, which has been outlawed during the reign of the Brozhav regime, have stated that a whole week of festivals might be organized across the country, with all of them being dedicated to theme of Ocidenian national pride, importance of democracy, national freedom and other values of our nation, which have either been suppressed or forgotten during the reign of the Luziycan-backed government.

National Provisional Assembly (NPA) assumes power in Ocidenia until elections

A transitional government has been set up in Ocidenia to fill the power void, until the country could organize its first democratic elections since the removal of the pro-Luziycan Brozhav regime

Image
Chairman Adiro Pagressos

In order to fill the power void left following the removal of the Luziycan-backed administration of the self-proclaimed Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav, the National Provisional Assembly (NPA) has officially assumed temporary leadership in Ocidenia, in order to fill the remaining control vacuum, until the democratic elections of a new government could be organized in the country. The National Provisional Assembly is a political body, which was secretly formed during the recent civil war and which was created as a potential transitional government of Ocidenia, replacing the Brozhav regime upon its removal and fulfilling the functions of a national administration until the government chosen by the people would elected and left to take over the rightful power.

The assembly consists of the members of the old government, which was toppled by the CIA of Luziyca, members of the opposition party, which existed throughout the entire history of Ocidenia, before being outlawed by the Brozhav regime, as well as the diplomats representing the secessionist factions of northern and southern Ocidenia, which have fought for the introduction of new ideologies into the country’s political spectrum. The assembly is viewed as a balanced mash of multiple different oppositions to the regime of the Luziycan-backed Brozhav, as well as the members of the ousted government which preceded the Brozhav regime and the long-existing Ocidenian opposition party, which existed throughout the entire history of independent Ocidenia and was part of the country’s political spectrum all the time. However, the opposition had always managed to find balance and cooperate with all the ruling governments of country, before the Spring Revolution, when it was put out of existence. The Chairman of the National Provisional Assembly is Adiro Pagressos, the last head of the opposition party, who has been in office during the term of the last legitimate government of Ocidenia prior to the Spring Revolution. Pagressos and his accomplices were forced to go into hiding, following the Spring Revolution and he has worked together with both the ONLF and OPLF rebel factions prior and during the civil war. Due to the Chairman of the National Provisional Assembly being an equivalent of the Prime Minister, Pagressos will also function as a temporary head of state.

Due to the proper organization of the democratic elections being a process requiring time, the National Provisional Assembly is expected to hold power in Ocidenia for a period of several months. Although the precise time cannot yet be said, it is approximate period of the National Provisional Assembly’s term is between 5 and 10 months. Chairman Adiro Pagressos has stated that due to the assembly not being the elected government of Ocidenia, it would refrain from making any big decision that might affect the existing system, however, he stated that over the course of its term, the assembly would try to do everything in its capabilities to help rebuild Ocidenia’s economy, which has already been weak under the last legitimate government and has been falling even lower during the reign of the Brozhav regime, which had crippled the economy due to sanctions and international isolation that Ocidenia has faced. Many representatives of the assembly have stated that they want their administration to bring the first positive changes to the country that would establish a foundation from which the elected government would continue working all the way to the top in pursuit of a bright future for Ocidenia.
