Out Skirts of Avand System, Daisan Quadrant, Tanabikan-Atmoran Front
Commonwealth Joint Task Force
18 March 2158 AD

Godsil's fleet started to prepare to bombard the Chronsian fleet with hard light. Atmoran cannons aimed for the weak spots in the Chronsian ships, if there wasn't any weakness they would repeatedly fire on the ships.

High Admiral Campbell ordered the majority of the CJTF prepare to bombard the Tanabikan forces. The TMS Quartz City one of Atmora's new class of gargantuan Super Battlecruisers, aimed her guns at the Stormwrathian fleet(s). One of her Super-Heavy Hardlight (Solid Light) cannons had a Stormwrathian ship in it's sight. When the Commonwealth Fleets gave the green light. The High Admiral barked to his officers to begin the bombardment on the Tanabikans. Like red lightning the hardlight ripped through the darkness of space and came towards the Tanabikan Force, the presence of Meromes the God of Death could be felt when the hard light hit their ships. The round that was fired was fired from the Quartz City's Super-Heavy Hardlight cannon ripped through space and was quickly closing distance between the Stormwrathian ship and it.

Atmoran fighters began combat with the Tanabikan aerospace craft while the Attackers began to harrass the Tanabikan crafts that were attacking Atmoran ships.

Arco JF-165 Super Lynxes started to destroy the Cultist Vomun Fighters and some Super Lynxes were escorting Atmoran boarding craft that where in route to the Cultist patrol vessel. The boarding craft's had Atmoran Red Eagle Operatives in them. Thier mission of course was to board, capture the ship and to kill/arrest Cultist operatives.

Rear Admiral Johnson looked at the Cultist patrol vessel from the Elvish Justice's bridge and said "Give them hell!"

In orbit of Roma, The Commonwealth
19 March 2158 AD

Augustus sat in his seat and relaxed as his ship "The Emperor's Pride" prepared to enter foldspace. He, along with the rest of his fleet which was a Heavy Commonwealth battlefleet (12 Daedalus Battleships, 5 Icarus Carriers full of troops and 24 Talos Cruisers) , had been ordered by his father the Emperor to head to Atmora to meet with their leader and discuss an military. The fleet exited foldspace and he gazed at the large planet below them. He looked at the holo map arranged on the table in front of him and changed course.
"Ensign hail them and send this message to Lythame. "
From: The Commonwealth
Greetings. We the Commonwealth are here to discuss with you the potential of an alliance. We request you do not open fire and designate a meeting place, preferably in orbit, that we can discuss with you.

4 Lexi-Class Super Battlecruisers went to the Commonwealth ships. The rest of the Imperial Home Fleet was in orbit around Colsiire just in case something goes wrong. High Admiral Charleston ordered his comm officer to hail the The Emperor's Pride

To: The Emperor's Pride

Suil, I'm High Admiral Charleston of the TMS Sierra's Sword. Please head to Colsiire where you're ships can wait till the message is forwarded to His Imperial Majesty Emperor Daral. When the Emperor does accept to meet you, you're only allowed to bring one vessel to Lythame. The rest of your fleet can wait in orbit around Colsiire till the meeting is done.

Tanabikan-Atmoran Front Line, Daisan Quadrant

Skagger was indeed feeling confident that this strategy will work for the combined Tanabikan forces that were gambling their chances of victory on this one battle. It looks like Admiral Aetolys' forces have been already taking the brunt of the enemy's firepower, and it had been managing the situation well. Such is the tenacity and resistance expected from someone who had just gone into the teeth of the enemy head-on. The Chronosian task force that accompanied Purilla's flotilla was covering for their Stormwrathian allies as the Atmoran formation focused their efforts on attempting to prevent a sneak attack. However, by focusing on the Chronosian warships — which are reputed for their durability in battle despite their size — the Stormwrathian warships slipped through, ready to deliver the decisive blow.

From the looks of it, the Diistaak defector had a plan up her sleeve. One by one did the Stormwrathian ships under her command decloak and fire a quick barrage of solid light at the enemy, and then recloak to mask their presence. The Supreme Allied Commander of the operation seemed impressed at this. "Interesting," he commented as this master tactic was set in motion. "Sakar is using her ships to deceive the Atmorans in terms of their numerical strength, as a distraction as she is about to set up something." Turning to his AI Servitor Loretta, he asked her kindly, "Will you please do take notes on Sakar's tactics?" Loretta saluted back and replied, "Will do, Admiral."

The task force under Purilla was beginning to execute their plan. One of the ships declaoked and fired a quick barrage, then recloaked again. As it recloaked, another vessel decloaked and did the exact same thing. The Stormwrathian ships near the Atmoran formation took turns in decloaking and recloaking, putting the Atmorans under intense fire. Skagger was impressed by Purilla's ninja-like tactics, and he said to himself, "Maybe we should try that next time."

So far those nanobots of Purilla's haven't shown themselves yet — maybe now wasn't the time. The Mussitatio Domina and her escorts were almost there. Yet, they were being subjected to intense and ferocious Atmoran fire. A few Stormwrathian ships were being ripped apart by Atmoran red lightning — another nickname for the famed solid light projectiles of the Commonwealth. Even the Cassandra Fairs was already feeling the attacks, despite being a wide distance away. Skagger knew that the enemy's predicament was that they had to fire their guns at all directions, while the Tanabikans only had to fire at one. Just a few more seconds…

And there it was. Missiles were discharged from Purilla's ship, and they landed on six nearby enemy ships. Explosions resulted, and on his scanners the nanobots can be picked up in the midst of the red formation on his star map. The Vokun Gramaan were unleashed — the black swarms of nanotechnology began to surround and devour the ships clean off their external armor. "Oh my god," he stared at the video feed in awe. They indeed had a vital asset in their possession — one that he knew would be foolish to give up. The HMS Guardian of Eden, a major capital ship of the Royal Arcadian Fleet, was being brought low before Skagger's eyes. Seeing that the nanobots have created several openings on the ship, he then ordered that his turrets be adjusted to aim at those openings. Once the word was given, the orange lightning rushed forth once more in a barrage, and finished off the mighty Arcadian ship. She was no more.

Perhaps this was the opportunity they had been waiting for. "All Tanabikan vessels," he called out to his comrades through the transponder, "seize the opportunity and leave no escape." The combined Tanabikan force began to approach the Atmoran formation, slowly and gradually tightening the sphere of vessels that they have created. As they neared, the solid light turrets continued to fire in barrages, destroying or damaging the Atmoran ships that were within their sights. It seemed that this will be a quick end for the enemy.

However, the Stormwrathians were beginning to sustain larger casualties. The TMS Quartz City, that monster of a ship, adjusted its gargantuan high-powered turrets at the Cassandra Fairs. Realizing that they may end up in its sights, Skagger frantically yelled, "List port immediately or we'll be space junk!"

"Aye, sir." The ship managed to get out of harm's way as the Quartz City fired. A loud bang could be heard throughout their audio receivers — like the deafening bang of the clashing sound of the god of war's own anvil. Through a single solid light turret, several Stormwrathian ships — including the supercarrier SXS Asavixeria and the super-dreadnoughts SXS Archemperor Matthias III and SXS Nasthelca — were destroyed upon impact, and even then the solid light round kept on roaring through space like a cosmic burst of energy. They have to take down the Quartz City or more of their craft will be gone.

Skagger had an idea brewing in his head, though he wasn't sure if this will work. Perhaps if he directed the combined energies of their capital ships into a collective discharge of destruction, perhaps they can disable the Quartz City's turrets and their engines. He calculated that he may need many of the capital warships at his disposal right now, but he also hypothesized that he may probably need more to take it down. With the communications channels still open, he contacted Qēsarin, Talndasir and Aetolys and relayed them of his plans. Chelsea responded over the radio, "Adjusting turret bearing at the Quartz City. Say the word and it's toast."

"Our capital warships are also moving into position, solid light rounds will be ready to fire in thirty seconds," Qēsarin replied. While Skagger certainly couldn't make out where the sleek Bladed Leaf ships are aiming their guns, he nodded in complete confidence. "Our bearings are adjusting as well," Talndasir added. "Preparing to fire at your command."

The capital ships redirected their energies at the central ship in their respective places, and waited for the order to bring hell. It was a tense moment for the Tanabikans, as if the universe had taken the liberty of slowing down time — adding to the suspense. "Fire!" came the word from Skagger's mouth, and a bright light came forth from the 12th Stormwrathian Fleet. This gigantic ray of light blasted through the darkness uninterrupted for a few seconds — long enough to disable many turrets on the Quartz City's dorsal and port side. Blasts of light also came forth from three other locations, taking their own pieces of the Atmoran leviathan. Through this initial attack, the Quartz City was taking in damage. While it may be largely intact, many of its primary armaments were disabled by the concerted attack. If the Tanabikans have drawn the ship's attention, at least it can't respond as quickly as it can now.

This meant that it was free reign for the small craft to harass the larger Atmoran ships — any enemy small craft that responded was in the crosshairs of escort vessels. Another series of bangs rang through the cosmos as the orange bolts landed on the Atmoran vessels. The black swarms were wreaking havoc from within the core of the formation, throwing the Atmoran ships into disarray. The Tanabikans were beginning to choke on the Atmorans like a snake coiling and squeezing its prey to death. Loretta thought that the Tanabikans may have been slightly too cruel, but then the advantage was theirs in the end. She was the Admiral's aide, after all.

CNS Antipides, Flagship, Chronosian Fourth Fleet

Over the booming sound of solid-light rounds impacting the hull of the Chronosian battle-cruiser, the Antipides' Weapons Officer yelled to his commander. "Admiral, we've lost banks two, four, five, nine, and sixteen! We aren't going to be able to hold out much longer under this sort of counter-fire!"

Cotte glanced at the holographic screens projected on the walls of the combat bridge, which portrayed the Antipides and the maelstrom of light, steel, and blood that surrounded it. To the far right of the screen, a schematic showed the status of the increasingly weak outer hull, and red blotches were visibly popping up and widening as the Atmorans' solid light barrages raked the side of the Chronosian ship. He yelled back to the weapons officer, "What is the status on ammunition?"

"With respect sir, we'll be dead well before we run out of ammunition!"

"Very well. Get the commanding officers of Retribution, Resolve, Vengeance, and Malevolence on the horn!"

"Aye sir!" replied the Antipides' communications officer. Seconds later, the heads of four Commanders of the Chronosian Navy appeared in the holo-space in front of Admiral Cotte. As Cotte began to speak, the Antipides' artificial intelligance continued to wreak havoc on the Atmoran Commonwealth's ships of war beyond the expance of space that separated their ships.

"Gentlemen, as you are well aware, we are fighting a losing battle. As such, we are going to do our best to take as many of the enemy with us as possible and give our allies as much time as possible to kill the damned Atmorans. You are all to take your ships away from the formation on the four relative compass-points, and to use your gun banks and fighters to the best of your ability. If any of your survives with the lives of your ship and men, I will ensure your are given estates when we get back home. If not, you will be like the heroes of the Sixth Borderland War, remembered in songs and textbooks along with our fathers. The Antipides will support you to the best of her ability."

The four men nodded, and the holo-field blinked out of existence again. In moments, the four light cruisers trailing behind the Antipides separated from the close formation, and headed out at right angles towards the encircling Atmoran fleet. As they did so, their thousands of unmanned combat drones and hundreds of human-piloted bombers streaked from the brilliantly lit hangar bays, filling the space around the ship with another wall of steel. Some were hit by the still ongoing barrage of ordinance, but most of them sped away from their ships and began their quick journey into battle. Within a minute, the swarms of fighter craft were streaking along the surfaces of the Atmoran ships, firing plasma and antimatter rounds at the most vulnerable spots on the massive ships. The self-guided ordinance fired by the minute vessels targeted the firing apertures of the solid-light cannons, steadily stemming the tide of carnage that swept towards the Chronosian ships.

And then, from behind the relative safety of the Antipides came the pinprick of light that was the CNS Simon Tacarthian Torrent. As its engines accelerated it at an extremely rapid pace towards a Atmoran Alexia-class corvette, a single weapon discharged itself from the underside of the mile-long ship and streaked towards the corvette. As soon as this weapon was discharged, the Torrent turned away, accelerating away from what was about to become a catastrophe of massive proportions.

As the cylindrical projectile approached the corvette, the computers aboard both the Antipides and the Torrent fed it a stream of information about every move that its target took. It swiftly altered course as a solid-light round swept past, narrowly avoiding certain destruction. The calculations continued to flow until just before impact. Then, a radio wave swept from the nose-cone of the missile to the bridge of the corvette. Aboard the corvette, the communications officer looked at his readout in confusion, and then glanced at the captain of the vessel. He returned his gaze to the screen, and read the one word that occupied it again.

"Goodbye."

A moment later, the weapon set itself off.

At four milliseconds after initiation, a small charge blasted the missile in half, sending the nose towards the corvette. At ninety-two milliseconds after, the nose cone impacted the hull. Someone standing on the other side might have commented on the strange clink sound that echoed through the hull for a moment, but for the fact that that person would be naught but quarks by the time the auditory nerve transmitted the information to the brain. At ninety-four milliseconds, the nose cone detonated a minute shaped-charge explosive, blasting a five-millimeter diameter hole through the armor of the ship and into the guts of the ship on the other side. This tiny hole would bring about an impressive amount of carnage.

As the vacuum of space began to such the nitrogen and oxygen particles through the hole, and as the Atmoran damage control system started to register the slight dip in atmospheric pressure, the rear half of the missile reached the hull. The remarkable targeting technology that guided it enabled the tiny probe on the front of the weapon to penetrate into the hole the other half of the missile had created, and the tiny computer chip at the tip registered the presence of atmospheric gasses that denoted that the weapon had successfully penetrated the hull. A beam of electrons raced down a tiny wire to the computerized firing system of the missile, beating the wave of kinetic energy that would soon knock the extremely precise timing electronics completely out of whack. The weapon then executed it's purpose in life: Destruction.

In the stabilized core of the weapon, the computer began a chain reaction, slamming nine strange quarks into one electron fourteen times at exactly the same moment. The tidal and kinetic forces of this impact at nearly .728 c ripped the electron into pieces, sending them whizzing out at nearly the speed of light. They impacted the extremely negatively-charged, electron-heavy material that surrounded the core, and set off more reactions. Within fifteen milliseconds, the matter that had been the missile had been completely broken down into subatomic dust. This chain reaction continued, racing at an unimaginable speed into the slightly more common N- atoms in the artificial atmosphere of the Atmoran vessel. By the time an observed four miles from the ship could finish the first syllable in "three mississippi," the entire ship was naught but a cloud of subatomic mishmash of quarks and less savory forms of matter.

The TMS Quartz City was heavily damaged after the bright light came forth from the 12th Stormwrathian Fleet. This gigantic ray of light blasted through the darkness uninterrupted for a few seconds — long enough to disable many turrets on the Quartz City's dorsal and port side. Blasts of light also came forth from three other locations, taking their own pieces of the Atmoran capital shi[. Through this initial attack, the Quartz City was taking in damage. While it may be largely intact, many of our primary armaments were disabled by the concerted attack. If the Tanabikans have drawn our capital ship's attention, they made it so we can't fire back as quickly now.

High Admiral Campbell looked at his officers on the bridge of the Quartz City and yelled "What the fuck just happened? I want a status report on the Quartz City right now!" The officers ran a diagnosis on the Quartz City. One of the men rouse up and cleared his throat with he spoke and sounded nervous giving High Admiral Campbell the report "Many of our primary armaments are disabled on the dorsal and port side, Sir." High Admiral Campbell issued another command to his officers "Get those weapons back online as fast as we can and have Quartz City's frigates guard the dorsal and port side, while we repair. Also prepare a stealth ship with a NOVA Bombs!"

One man stood up "But sir those are extremely powerful bombs that could destroy planets, it will surely destroy our forces!"

"What do you think we'll use it for? Uhh? We're going to use them to destroy those damn Tanabikans while our forces retreat."

The Commonwealth fleets prepared to give the Tanabikans forces another barrage of red lightning when suddenly the Vokun Gramaam started to tear the ships apart, the comm channels between the warships under siege from the Vokun Gramaam where chaotic then suddenly static, they where gone Commonwealth servicemen young men and women lost to the void.

A comms officer was at his station she couldn't forget the screams the god damn screams as the Vokun Gramaam ripped the ship and anyone in it to shreds..... but just like that the screams stopped.

Godsl's flleet unleased another barrage of red lightning at the Chronsians and surronding enemy warships, the TMS Alyssa after her hardlight cannons at the enemy ship started to get something in aim of her Super-Heavy Hardlight cannon, when the Alyssa had some Chronsian warships in her sights see fired the massive red lighting once again ripped through space and was quickly closing distance between the Chronsian ships and it.

"Sir... Boarding craft spotted." One of the Cultist said, "Sending extra Vomun Fighters to intercept."

"Very good....." The Grik said, "Have all Cultist prepare to engage the boarding parties."

"Sir." They said.

"Um, sir, what should we do about the information?" A female Cultist said as she walked onto the bridge.

"Oh, that..... Prepare to delete it. We can't have them have access to that. They can not know the locations of our bases." The Grik responded.

The female Cultist nodded, and left the bridge. Meanwhile, all through the ship, the Cultist where preparing to greet the boarding parties.

SXS Mussitatio Domina
Outskirts of the Avand System, Daisan Quadrant
Tanabikan-Atmoran Front
89th day of Felniir, in the 252nd year of Eylok

"I don't like this...." One of the crew said. The SXS Mussitatio Domina was sitting in the middle of the Atmoran formation, it's only defence, its shields and a secondary shield made from the Vokun Gramaan.

"What's wrong?" Purilla said, "Are you all afraid?"

"No ma'am.... It's just that we aren't in the best position...." The same crew man answered.

Purilla opened her eyes and looked at him, "Re-engage cloak. I'll scatter our second shield, and we'll pull out of the Atmoran formation. Have our other ships stop their attacks and join us.... We'll flank them from behind." She said before closing her eyes.

She could feel it. The sensation of the Vokun Gramaan ripping through ships and destroying everything in that stood in its way. She could her the sounds of screaming elves, and gun fire, music to her ears.

Scatter...... And Destroy she commanded the Vokun Gramaan. With that thought, the Vokun Gramaan that surrounded the SXS Mussitatio Domina, bursted outward, scattering into the battlefield, and targeted more ships. While the Vokun Gramaan added on to its destructive train, the SXS Mussitatio Domina, now cloaked, pulled away, unseen, heading to rendezvous with the other stealth ships towards the rear of the Atmoran formation.

Hopefully, I don't get any flak from Chelsea for this decision.... Purilla thought. Then she felt it, again, something she felt last when she was coming out of hiding. Her sister was trying to locate her again. Purilla smiled on the inside. She knew that even if Neria located her, she wouldn't risk rushing into a battlefield, it was to risky. As such, Purilla did not try and stop her. She felt the feeling recede as quickly as it started, Neria had located her, but she did not worry.

Neria Sakar
The Nirvotiik, Location Unknown
89th day of Felniir, in the 252nd year of Eylok

Neria stood on the bridge of The Nirvotiik, looking over the vast void of space. She was tracking her sister again. Neria sat down and sighed. She knew where Purilla was, but it was to risky to try and capture her. A plan would have to be made, they would have to try and trick Purilla, draw her into a trap. As long as Purilla stayed with the Stormwrathians, she was protected.

"Ma'am.... did you find her?" the commander asked.

"Yes... but we aren't going in. Its to dangerous." Neria said.

"So, what's our next move?"

Neria closed her eyes, and then spoke, "I hate this, but this is the only option..... we need to trick my sister, we need to draw her into a trap. I need to speak to our Atmoran counter parts. Get me the TMS Shadow of Kyra."

The commander nodded, and opened up the communication. Hopefully, the Atmorans would pick up.

Commonwealth Joint Task Force
Avand System, Tanabiku Galaxy, Stormwrath
18 March 2156 AD

High Admiral Campbell looked to the void as the chaotic battle unfolds before him as his shipmen and shipwomen of the Commonwealth are being killed by Purilla’s Vokun Gramaan, he imagines them being torn to pieces and their torn off flesh and bones floating in the void or a someone having a simple breach in his armour as he’s exposed to void. He whispers under his breath angrily “Fucking bitch” if it wasn’t direct orders from the Grand Marshal or the Emperor he would have Cána aim the Quartz City’s weaponry on Purilla’s warship and destroying it and killing her.

The High Admiral looks at Cána the TMS Quartz City’s Ancilla and speaks to her “Cána are the Rusco-Class Stealth Frigates ready?”

Cána spoke in a calm feminine voice towards the High Admiral “Yes the two Rusco-Class Stealth Frigates are ready in the loading bay each armed with one NOVA Bomb. However sir, may I ask is this truly necessary?”

The High Admiral spoke under his breath in response to Cána’s question “I wish I didn’t have to Cána but these troops are under my care, I can’t allow them to die.”

She heard him “I understand, should I give them the green light to launch?”

“Yes Cána give them the order. Also tell the other warships we’re going to make a jump Londë and to distract the Tanabikans so our boys can make it to the enemy and blow them to kingdom come!”

“Aye aye sir!”

The Rusco-Class Stealth Frigates cloaked and headed out of the Quartz City’s loading bay and headed towards the Tanabikans, as they were making their final journey the Commonwealth Warships fired at the Tanabikans more frequently and Fighters started to either head back to their ship or do more risky maneuvers.

High Admiral Campbell spoke to the Captain of the TMS Aina “Captain you, your crew and the crew of the TMS Aista be forever remembered as heros of the Commonwealth. I’ll tell your family your goodbyes dear Captain.”

The Captain spoke to the High Admiral with a tear rolling down her cheek “Thank you High Admiral, tell my husband and my family I love them.”

Once the TMS Aina and TMS Aista made it to the destination they gave the Commonwealth Joint Task Force the word and almost instantously the Commonwealth Warships made a jump to Londë. Once the Commonwealth Task Force was out of the blast zone, the two Rusco-Classes detonated their NOVA Bombs. With the two NOVA Bombs going off at the same time every warship in it’s blast zone was destroyed or critically damaged some were left unharmed from the chaotic explosion caused by the two powerful bombs.

TMS Shadow of Kyra, Location Unknown
18 March 2156 AD

The Shadow of Kyra’s ancilla; Feredir was picking up a signal from the Nirvotiik. Feredir appeared before Rear Admiral John Loveless on a console. Rear Admiral Loveless looked at Feredir “What is it Feredir?”

Feredir spoke calmly “Sir the Diistaak Warship Nirvotiik is contacting us.”

“Patch them though Feredir.”

“Aye Aye Sir!”

The video feed was patched through to the TMS Shadow of Kyra once it was and Neria appeared on the holographic screen he saluted her after he did that he spoke “How can I help you your highness?”

Terathian Quadrant, Haven Galaxy
89th Imperial Fleet
13 March 2158 AD

Rear Admiral Johnson looked as the Cult sent more Vomun Fighters to engage them, the Arco JF-165 Super Lynxes started locking on to the Cultist fighters and fired off missles and then fired their Hardlight cannons at the Vomun Fighters, destroying them or damaging them. The TMS Elvish Justice's ancilla started to switch some of the warships weaponry from heavy hardlight cannons to hardlight cannons/weapons to easily destroy the Cultist fighters.

The boarding craft with the Red Eagles operatives where doing one final weapons check when the craft attached itself to the Cultist airlock they opened the airlock and toke cover as the Red Eagles through a grenades towards the Cultist attempting to stop them, the Red Eagles fired hardlight rounds at the cultist while using hardlight shields to protect them from the Cultist fire.

Chelsea was clearly enjoying the pyrotechnics before her, and Bloodshot could tell. Another round of solid light barrages ripped through space and claimed another series of casualties on the enemy's side. In the middle of the Atmoran formation, it looked like Purilla was doing quite a good job at her role. Her nanobots — which appeared like a series of black ominous specters characteristic of the great evil that will consume the universe — were tearing the Atmoran ships apart with ease. And yet, it seemed that the great spectacle before her was about to have its final act, which would probably be a whimper in her eyes.

"Awww, it's over?" she slumped into her chair and guzzled down her beer bottle. She had a secret stash of alcohol inside her console so she could pull out one whenever things got exciting, and the men working at the massive spaceport were kind enough to include it on the Watchmaiden. Generally one wouldn't have alcohol secretly being hidden in the CIC, and many would be wondering how the Admiral managed to slip some beneath the noses of the higher-ups in the Space Command.

"I think so," Bloodshot replied. "But don't worry, Admiral. There will be more battles like this when we liberate Daisan from the Atmorans, and I'm not saying this in a good way. By the way," he pointed at the bottle in her hand, "are you supposed to be drinking while we're in the middle of a battle?"

"Of course!" she smiled and stood up with her arms wide open as she faced the giant holographic screen that displayed the outside world. "This chaotic wasteland — it's entertainment gold! War is like professional sports; even if you know all of the stats, chances and predictions, what's really exciting is how the game plays out. Only out here in space you actually get to play ball instead of sitting in the bleachers!"

"But there are no bleachers in space," Bloodshot responded while scratching his head.

"Exactly," she grinned and took large gulps of beer. She commanded the rest of her fleet, "Start closing in on the Atmies, boys! It's time this engagement got nasty!"

The 2nd Fleet was beginning to roar their ships to life and close the gap that was between them and the collective enemy thousands or even millions of kilometers in front of them. As they pressed on and the Atmoran ships fired at their direction, the Stormwrathians were beginning to incur victims on their end. Several cruisers were soon being blasted to shreds by solid light, while others seemed like they could barely hold together for a few more minutes. Skagger said over the channels to Chelsea, "To all Tanabikan fleets, cloak your warships on your final approach. As you attack, decloak and fire at the Atmoran vessels. Once you're done, recloak and let the others decloak and fire. You will be doing this one by one, understood?"

Chelsea smiled. "I'm guessing you got that from Purilla, huh? Yes, sir!"

The other fleets that comprised of the Tanabikan coalition force were having great success in encircling the Atmorans from all sides. Barrages of solid light were filling the cosmic ocean with a dangerous radiance, one that could even outshine Avand in the distance. Chaos was reigning in its natural state, reveling in the sound of gunfire and the agonizing screams of suffering sophonts. While the Tanabikans incurred casualties numbering in the thousands, they weren't as great as those inflicted on the Atmoran side. They all closed in on the Atmorans, hoping to trap them inside of their armed bubble.

It seemed that Purilla's group was beginning to pull back from the Atmoran positions, moving ever so slowly towards the rear. The Vokun Gramaan expanded outward in a sudden burst of energy, scattering all over the Atmoran ships and tearing them to pieces. While this was going on, the Mussitatio Domina — the distinctive blip that was moving across Chelsea's map — used the opportunity to meet up with the other blips on her map. The Chronosians may have seen it fit to follow the Diistaak out of the cluster of massive warships. Chelsea tapped on her console and opened up a channel once more. "Purilla, what are you doing?" she said with a little slur at the end. She then ordered that the Watchmaiden's turrets be trained in the direction of the Alyssa, the Atmoran battleship that was firing at the Chronosian warships. Solid light was fired at it, significantly damaging some of its weapons and probably piercing parts of its hull.

The Watchmaiden was just getting started. It redirected its crosshairs at the Quartz City once more, this time targeting the aft of the colossal warship. The turrets trained in the direction of the ship and fired with a loud and extended noise. A beam of light left the Stormwrathian vessel and impacted some of its propulsion units. Other turrets that were on the ship's port side trained elsewhere and fired at other nearby Atmoran ships. More of its strike craft left the hangar bays of the mighty vessel and were hurled at the Atmoran fighters as if they were cannon fodder — which in this case they were. The bubble was beginning to close, and it seemed that the Atmorans were going to be suffocated. It seemed to them that fate swung in their favor, and that the Atmoran menace that violated their galaxy was going to be pushed out.

Yet, fate also had a malicious and pervasive habit of swinging in the other direction, like a pendulum oscillating back and forth. Two massive explosions went off with loud and deafening cracks, and a blinding light manifested across the screen. The reverberations echoed with the destructive ripples that distorted space for millions of kilometers, and all of a sudden ships disintegrated into nothingness as the Tanabikans were robbed of their sight. The Watchmaiden itself took a great hit and had many of its turrets damaged. Flares sparked from the walls of the CIC, and the lights flickered rapidly before stabilizing once more. On the camera feed, the harrowing and hellish screams of thousands of sophonts could be heard. Chelsea almost slipped and fell, and would have done so had she not had her hand hold tightly on the rail. "Holy shit," she exclaimed, "what happened?"

Bloodshot and the sapient crew began to open up a series of projections that displayed the condition of the ship. Bloodshot was the first to report to his superior. The AI began, "Two detonation locations have been identified, most likely from Atmoran NOVA bombs of a high yield. The resulting explosion took out some of our ship's weapons and dealt significant damage to our hull. Currently redirecting power to our energy shields."

Chelsea returned to her console. "Status of the other ships of the 2nd Fleet, gents?"

"Admiral," an operator tapped on his console with rapid precision, "We lost 171 of our ships to the blast, 31 of which are capital ships — thousands of strike craft may have been lost as well. Many of the vessels lost were towards the front of our formation, while those at the middle were considerably damaged. Sophont count is still in progress, but we suspect many of our Rocket Angels were caught in the blast."

171 vessels lost in a single blinding light, taking with them millions of sophonts — their lives weren't just taken, they were utterly erased from the material plane and their ashes scattered in space. Their bodies weren't just recognizable, they were wiped off the universe in a single stroke of complete annihilation. Chelsea was by no means prepared to deliver for those men who served, no, gave their lives for their nations. "I'm guessing the other fleets lost as many of theirs to those NOVAs, right?"

"Negative, Tanabikan fleets assigned to reserve received far lesser casualties — many of them were left untouched. I'm assuming the attack fleets took the bulk of the losses."

"And Purilla's task force?" Her voice was considerably more silent, but her crew could hear her anyway.

A pause followed. "Many of her ships were caught in the explosion," reported one of the Stormwrathian operators, "the Mussitatio Domina was significantly damaged as well."

She paced back and forth while staring at the giant screen. Slamming her hand on her console in a fit of exasperation she said, "No matter, we continue to push them back. Redirect our repair nanobots to reinforce the damaged sections of the hull and to restore our impaired turrets to working order. Scramble more of our strike craft and harass the Atmoran ships. Bloodshot, scan for any objects of certain mass sneaking towards our positions, more NOVAs may be hiding. Our fleet should enter into Formation 3A4."

Once more, the Stormwrathians with her responded as one man. "Yes, Admiral. It will be done."

TMS Elentári
Avand System, Tanabiku Galaxy, Stormwrath
18 March 2156 AD

Unbeknownst to the Tanabikan Forces the TMS Quartz City managed to deploy one more Rusco-Class Stealth Frigates the TMS Elentári, like the other Rusco-Class Stealth Frigates: TMS Aista and TMS Aina the TMS Elentári had one NOVA Bomb like the other two stealth frigates before her.

Rusco-Class Stealth Frigates were designed to temporarily “store” the heat generated by routine shipboard operations can be detectable against the near absolute zero background temperature of the vacuum of space. However the Rusco-Class Stealth Frigates can store this heat within lithium heat sinks deep within their hulls. However it can only be cloaked and near undetectable for a certain amount of time.

The TMS Elentári’s lithium heat sinks couldn’t withstand more, the stealth ship had to decloak leaving her detectable for anyone looking out their windows or holographic screens or simply see the sudden spike of heat near the stealth ship.

The TMS Elentári’s captain looked at his officers on his bridge “Shit the cloak is down and the lithium heat sinks need to cool down, we don’t have enough firepower to take down those Tanabikans nor do we have backup.”

The TMS Elentári was sitting there motionless in the vast emptiness of space

Purilla Sakar
SXS Mussitatio Domina
Outskirts of the Avand System, Daisan Quadrant
Tanabikan-Atmoran Front
89th day of Felniir, in the 252nd year of Eylok

Ugh.... My head.... Purilla thought as she came to. All she remembered was an explosion, close to the ship. She tried to get up, but then fell back down. Purilla shook her head, and focused. Alarms where blaring, sparks flying, the lights where out.

Purilla touched her head and felt the warm crimson syrup that flowed through her veins. Its just a scratch... she thought as she stood up. She looked around quickly and saw most of the crew unconscious or dead. She took a breath as she summoned the remaining Vokun Gramaan back.

"Raven... Damage report." Purilla said as she took a seat.

"Not good. I am surprised we are even still intact. Many of our ships have been lost." Raven said, "I have started to repair the ship."

She closed her eyes, "What systems are still online?"

"Weapons offline, shields offline, engines offline, life support still online and comms are barely active." Raven responded.

"Try to get the engines online." Purilla said to Raven before return to the crew that was still conscious, "Everyone. We are basically dead in space at the moment. For the time being I will be using the Vokun Gramaan to defend and help repair the ship. While the ship is being repaired, I want all able body men and women to help tend to the wounded or to help repair the ship."

The crew nodded and got to work, broadcasting her order throughout the ship. Purilla then looked back at Raven, "Get me Chelsea."

"The connection will be choppy." Raven informed her.

Purilla waved her hand, as she tried to remain conscious, "I understand, just open up comms."

"Understood." Raven said as she activated the comms, connecting to Chelsea's ship.

Neria Sakar
The Nirvotiik, Location Unknown
89th day of Felniir, in the 252nd year of Eylok

"Let me get right to it. I have located Purilla.... She's on the front." Neria said before pausing, "Knowing my sister, she'll likely stay there, unless we find a way to pull her away from the front. As long as she's at the front we can not retrieve her."

Neria then staggered back, she felt something bad. Something happened to her sister, something bad. She closed her eyes, She's still alive.... Barely...

She then looked back to the screen and to Loveless, "We need to try lure her into a trap."

Diistaak Cultists and The Grik
Outer Reaches of the Haven Galaxy
84th day of Felniir, in the 252nd year of Eylok

"The elves are on board." A Cultist said.

The Grik smiled, "Release the surprise...."

"But we don't know what it will do to our own men." Another Cultist responded, "It may attack them and kill them as well."

"Are you disobeying my order? It will not harm any of our men. The Mauryians are to good at taming them to prevent them from attacking their owners." The Grik said back, "Even if it is still bitter about us taking it away from its home, it shouldn't attack us. If it does, oh well. We must buy time for the information to be deleted."

"Understood." The Cultist said back as he went to broadcast a message to the ship's hold, "Release the beasts."

In the hold three large crate like cages sat, bearing the symbol of the Queendom of Mauryia. They where war beasts. More specifically Rufgas, beasts that the made the majority of the Mauryian's war beast divisions. They where fairly fast, and tough. Tough enough to resist hard light fire, energy weapons and kinetic weapons like all war beasts. The cages opened and three unarmoured Rufgas wandered out, snarling.

The door to the hold opened and the Rufgas left. Doors throughout the ship closed, to force the Rufgas to the Atmoran position. The Cultist engaging the Atmorans continued to battle their losing battle as the beasts closed in.

Terathian Quadrant, Haven Galaxy
89th Imperial Fleet
13 March 2158 AD

The Red Eagle Operatives continued firing at the Cultists when suddenly beasts were charging at the Red Eagles, the Commanding officer at present with the Red Eagle Team Omega order some of his operatives to use telekinesis to stop the beast while CQB Operatives use their energy swords to pierce through the beasts armour for safety measures if they could they'd throw a plasma grenade into the beasts mouth.

One of the Swordsmen had his sword get stuck into the beasts skin, he knew the chances of his comrades getting him unstuck was slim so he grabbed his plasma grenades and stuck them to his chestplate and hung on tight the beast till he exploded into blue ball of plasma taking the beast with him.

Another officer requested that the TMS Elven Justice to open a portal and send in heavy ordinance and quick.

Sector 01-2
Rosalia System
0900 hours
FXS Bulldog
VX Class Starship
Captain Holiavor Knight

Captain Knight was watching as a utility vessel worked on one of the Federations new H-Class star ports, the first true starboard to be constructed by the federation. The framework had already been finished, and the station, Base 11, was beginning to take shape. Down below was the jewel of the Federation of Amorgia, the planet Rosalia II, a truly beautiful world with nearly 30,000 colonists living on it. It was popularly believed to be a future center of the federation. However, despite multiple voyages by Federation vessels, no first contact had yet been made other than with a few pirates.

Captain Knight heard his ordinance officer, Commander Tecan Quan, say "sir the new Mk.3 Phase cannons are ready sir, I suggest that we fire a few test shots to make sure they are calibrated correctly"

Knight nodded and said "alright, launch a few target drones and let's have some fun"

The Commander smiled and said "Affirmative sir"

A hatch opened on the side of the vessel, nothing spectacular for a more advanced civilization, but for the Amorgian Federation it was an excellent ship. Out flew several torpedoe like devices, which moved to a position about 135 kilometers from the Bulldog and stopped.

The Commander said "targeting system is functional, preparing to fire"

Two orange beams fired from the ship, and went past a drone, giving off a large energy signature

"Missed, recalibrating, firing again"

The beams appeared again, this time they struck the drone, causing a explosion, the signature reappearing again

"Direct hit, the target is gone"
"Good, now we will be better prepared next time we get hit by them damn pirates"
"I hope so sir"

He returned to watching the construction of the starport, the thought of rest in his mind
