I saw the follow up letter to Hespatu from Deol, I will try to get to a response soon. Expect a nice, polite blow off. They are NOT going to scale down and still going to try to get the final naval task force through, but it will be for the 'greater good' and in a peacekeeping effort, just not one that any non-Jocastan factions will appreciate.

I have a lot of family and work stuff over the next couple days, so it will be tough.

Synopsis of Events and Updates:

1. In spite of tensions, negotiations in what is being called the Funeral Truce have resulted in an agreement between Monarchist factions of Queen Mara and Princess Jocasta to work together under a Regent. Queen Mara will remain as head of state with a leave of absence due to her illness, and will be fully reinstated when agreed conditions are met. Princess Jocasta will be acting head of state under the guidance of a Regent, Prince Elijah Shalmaneser.

2. The disputing parties--the Monarchists, the Free Congress/End Times Church, the Gloria Regian Feminist Collective/Marxists are agreed to hold peace talks generally.

3. National Elections are to be held; the Free Congress/ETC and the Monarchists as well as other more local parties will participate.

4. The Feminist Collective Party on Gloria Regis is up for negotiations but is internally divided on taking part in the National Elections, and on the subject of naval mutineers who made their independence prospects possible being turned over to the government of the Allied States of New Edom.

5. Several nations, including Jedoria, the Shrailleeni Empire, the Republic of Adiron, Free Garza, Anathaat and Nerotysia support independence for Gloria Regis. Nerotysia, Anathaat and the Shrailleeni Empire have for different reasons agreed to send military forces.

6. The Prophet Samuel Under of the ETC having led massive strikes against the economic policies of the government has appealed to foreign Christian governments for economic assistance, and has received several promises. Former Free Congress leaders like Sarah Carmel, sent to a foreign embassy in Adiron under Perrin Pahath-Moab, have returned to reform the Free Congress under Under's guidance.

7. Pro-Monarchist military forces, including those of the Imperium of Arbites, Maldoria, Albert of Ghant, Cacerta and the Late Roman Empire are gathering for possible attacks in Gloria Regis and in Harbourtown.

8. Intelligence operatives from Novitera are on the move in Harbourtown.

9. The CPO mediation mission proceeds ahead slowly.

Thank you Edom. I made a similar synopsis while I was preparing to start my replies earlier, except with Shrai-specific posts thrown in. Honestly when properly examined things fall into place rather well, most of the posts concern specific parties that dance around the central plot.

I'm torn on whether or not to write a eulogy post for the Mother Empress. I would love to do so, and I think that it would be appropriate, but I think that I would like to focus on current events. If it would be acceptable to New Edom and everyone else, I would continue RPing under the assumption that a short, poetic speech was made and leave it at that.

Time is starting to get away from me today, but it is my intention to reply to Cacerta, Jedoria, and Adiron in one post. The next will be a message to Elijah Shalmaneser, one to the so-called Theocratic Republic, and finally an update on Gloria Regis including Allene's post for the conference. Somewhere in there I may squeeze in a post for the Task Force and domestic Shrailleeni concerns.

You could always write in the Eulogy as a flashback in an upcoming post. That's what I would do.

I realize this is a relatively new part of play so I'm not blaming anyone for any previous posts, but on careful consideration this is what I'd prefer in future.

Also: not all of these companies will sell. I have edited and bolded the ones that are not for sale regardless either because they are already foreign owned or are owned by the national government. Thanks.

I'm not expecting visual diagrams like I provided, but a good approximate location, please. Also, New Edom, I'm assuming we would have access to Edomite satellite data, via Unwerth's command?
