On the GFS Typhoon, 3 Commanders from the Republic Armed Military resided, and would be the heads of all foreign contact. Today was the first time in 8 weeks they had to talk to anyone outside the Republic. Now, a soldier walked into Commander Halles.

"Private Mitchell Drunning, GFS AF92 sir!" The soldier started. "We have received contact from an unknown ship, definitely not a Commonwealth Ship and the Federation isn't permitted to venture this far. Should I respond to them?"
The commander sat there, thinking for less than 10 seconds before responding.

"Negative, set up the TC Communication Relay and force a communication link with them, make sure it isn't detected or they'll think we're hostile."

Libacur Universal Research Center, Focused Energy Division

The LURC was built shortly after the civil war, as part of an energy weapons program named LURKK. 82 years later it was on the verge of shutting down, until it was designated as a key location for scientific research. Libacur is located on the tropical planet of New Zanzibar, and was originally a small outpost for weapons testing. 32% of the planet is tropical rainforest, 9% is a separate continent composing of Tundra Plains, nicknamed New Siberia. The rest of course being water. Only 3 cities exist, Libacur, Libatan and Zanzis. Only Libacur has a population over 80,000.

Today was a special day across the Republic, and many people were arriving in Libacur and Zanzis. 1000 years ago marked the integration of New Zanzibar into the Republic, and tourism was spiking. The Governor of Libacur and Zanzis was also the Universal Head of Education and Science, meaning that despite this important day, he would be working.

"God how I hate this..." He mumbled, making sure his co-workers didn't hear him.

Gas Giant
As the Imperial blockade of the gas giant continues, the space being the fleet is suddenly alight. The 150 vessels of the USU 7th fleet join the blockade, strengthening it. Then a massive warp signature is detected, and out of it comes a massive dish array. The Imperials look at it curiously, confused as to what the USU has brought with them. As the fleet takes up position, they observe something happening at the gas giant. The fragments stop flying out of it, and the clouds start to loose their circular shape and begin to drift freely. The core of the planet has been consumed. The the fragments once gain latch onto the relay, constructing something new around it. As the Imperial Fleet prepares to engage, the USU fleet tells them to hold back for now, and wait.


Alliance Space - Earth
As the combined allied fleet to reclaim the Citadel begins to grow hopes of stopping this creature come with it. As the USU fleet of over 1000 vessels now gathers they begin to do weapons checks, data purges, and conduct formation training to prepare for the fight. The USU Envoy comes out of warp at earth and is shocked to find a massive fleet of its own national warships near the planet. The Envoy is drafted into the USU 5th Fleet as a scouting vessel and will aid in the operation. The first mission of the Envoy is to go to the Citadel and determine the enemy's true strength. The crew and Captain Marlen accept the mission and soon the Envoy is once again at warp, shooting toward the fallen stronghold.

The Commander of Sector E, the Left Wing, was sitting at his desk, reading the latest news in the UGR until he was interrupted by a transmission from the Arkhus Military Laboratory, in the capital of Samera.

"Speak to me, and make it quick." he resentfully said. Commander Rayelle spoke like his son had just been arrested and he was trying to be calm, but at the same time he was very soft when he spoke.

"We've sent 20 Transport Ships to bring new parts for the repair of the left booster, prepare to dock at a nearby moon and get the armed forces ready in case of a hostile situation. Arkhus, Out."

In the Presidential Mansion, located 3 miles south of Terra Core in the Kastria Mountains, President Alfonso sat watching over rioting civilians. Ever since his Libertarian Party won, riots had plagued the streets, mostly Conservatives and Liberal Republicans who hated the proposal to lower military spending.

"We got an Imperial order to listen to them so we will do that, just make sure our blockade will last until whatever they are doing happens." said Hide, now slightly more calm.

End Relay
As the fragments finish building the structure, more clusters begin to appear as a fleet of vessels of all shapes and sizes begin to form from these clusters. The relay becomes clear and the new design is shocking, with it having three launch rails, not one like normal relays. This means the Relay is now able to launch fragments into three different sections, extending their reach.

The commander of the station stand out of his chair, "All systems target the core of the relay!"
"Positioning mirrors, activating alignment procedures, locking onto target. Loading nuclear capsule, array ready to fire at your command."
"FIRE!"

Outside the command center the array launches a beam into the array in font of it, which reflects the beam back onto the main dish. This intensifies the beam as it is reflected back and forth hundreds of times. Then the Salvo Array fires, and a massive beam of sheer energy slams into the core of the array. This causes a chain reaction and the entire relay explodes, demolishing the array and a part of the fleet guarding it.

Gerta looks at the explosions and knows this is the fleets chance. He looms at the coms officer, "Tell all fleets to launch fighter and mobile suits, we smash them here. They have no way to escape. Tell the imperials to attack as well. All vessels fire!"

Admiral Hide looks excited, so does the entire crew of the Honor. "All Vessels Charge, Not one Thrust back". The Remaining Fleet Advances and the Hum of the reactors are being herd as the output it being increased. "Watch your gauges carefully, if one of our ships go fission reaction on us we are all dead, Honor Lead the Charge, Bismarck's enter shield formation, Heavy space carriers stay behind and offer support when needed. 1st Exploration, Extermination, and Harvesting group move out!" yelled Admiral Hide. "You just gave away the real name of our fleet admiral, what will you do if they ask questions?" asked Leo,"Did I? Just ignore it, Tonight we dine in hell". said Hide.

The Imperial fleet charges in front of the USU fleet and opens fire, "To the USU, We will lead the charge, Stay behind us while we are in shield formation, use us as living shields, We will active our inter-ship shield to protect you, when we are close, break off and enter a Broadside formation. If we take any critical damage we will break formation and kamikaze to cause maximum damage. It has been an honor to fight with your fleet. Tonight We Die Heroes!" Yells Comms Officer Leo is a bravado voice over the transmission. "Activate all Extermination weapons on all ships, do as much damage as possible. Charge the Hell's Requiem, If we die, we will take the whole sector with us." said Admiral Hide, knowing full well that this battle will end with many deaths on all sides.

Gertra leans back in his chair, listening to the onslaught of radio chatter and victories over the entity. However, he also is thinking about what he had head from the imperials, Extermination and Harvest fleet. While they may be allies at the present time that may change if those words mean what he think they did. He is knocked out of his train of thought when a coms officer suddenly yells, "Sir enemy force appears to be retreating to a new central point, it also appears they are all changing into vessels, every last fragment."
Gerta becomes suddenly alert, "Have all vessels take down those ships, they are tying to get out of here using warp drives, we cannot allow them to leave this system!"
Every vessel in the fleet opens fire and the Salvo once again fires a massive burst of energy, taking out half of the metal fleet. Soon only five enemy targets remain. The sensors then detect warp drives. In a last attempt to stop the the Savior fires its high density particle cannon trying to destroy the ships. Three of them fall, but two escape. The containment has been broken and the allies how no idea where the vessels have gone.

USU Envoy
The Envoy exits warp and immediately goes cold to avoid enemy detection. It hides next to the relay to mask its warp entrance as well so the enemy has zero chance of spotting them. As it floats around the relay and comes into view of the citadel it finds something startling, the citadel is void of everything. No life, no reapers, no reckoning. Nothing. Then a life pod is detected also hiding near the rely calling out that a few officers of Citadel police and a few citizens are onboard. The envoy picks them up and gives them aid and shelter to find out what is going on. Until the report is given, the operation is on standby.

USU Federal Council
The USU council has gathered due to the light of recent events and are now looking at the other nations in the conflict. This is the results:
- Decorai - Ally, trade and military support, unknown goals in galactic affairs
- Empire of the Rising Moon - Current ally, military support, questionable goals with 'Extermination" fleet, will be contacting the Empire for details on this fleet and its purpose, alliance at risk.
- Unknown (The United Galactic Republic) - Unknown, trying to establish contact, no formal first contact has been made nor communicated replies have been received.
- The Systems Alliance of Humanity - Current Ally, military support, unknown motives after initial encounters over ruined planet showed the group to be somewhat hostile, still we aid and protect the nation due to the initial losses with the Reckoning, alliance continuation after war uncertain.
-Eden Initiative - Unknown group, as yet to make anything other then first contact.

The council has also accepted all dust shipments from Decorai and has sent them a mobile suit and a team of scientist.
The Council is open to any diplomatic talks for alliance and trade at the present time. all military operations will go through Union Command.

-Reckoning vessels in the gas giant system have been destroyed, two vessels escaped, location unknown.
-Reckoning fleet that attack the citadel have also dissapeared, according to the civilian survivors the fleet released its control of the citadel then used the mass relay to leave the nebula, reason unknown, location unknown. All major fleets are on standby until the fleet is found. All scouting vessels are being deployed throughout the galaxy to find the Reckoning fleet.

All Factories will shift production towards the Project SFE-56. Report to your station at 09:00. All non-essential personal shall report to armories to be armed with the newly developed "Armored Cores" that we have designed based off the USU gundams, they are highly modular, so each pilot will get to try several weapons and pick the parts that they think best suit their combat abilities. -It appears the Reckoning were looking for something in the citadels databanks and after they found it they left, we are still unsure of what but it appears to be in the data referring to the reapers and dark space. We can only assume that the enemy is now heading for dark space as all of the fragments have disappeared from allied systems. The USU is debating on if the fleet should follow them into the void. Until the true reason i known for the reckonings flight there, the Union will probably decide against going into dark space as it is dangerous to venture into. All USU vessels are now on standby.
