Each of them has fifty pounds of gear usually and that can really be anything, most forces get briefing before they are sent out, they do not, so usually they grab and shove whatever they find in their bags before the light goes green. So don't expect Splinter Cell, Call of Duty, Battlefield, or HALO in terms of gadgets; they have the technology, yeah, but most of it is just thinking outside the box.

The bow makes a whole lot less noise though, and some modern bows actually shoot really far as well as do some major penetration damage. Grenade launchers are cool and all, but in a firefight I'd think I would rather be using 12 gauge shotguns over 40mm grenades. The latter of those two in CQC could back blast and blow you apart with the other guy, in that situation a shotgun is a safer bet as it is going to tear everything apart in front of you with minimum worry after coming back at you. I suppose not everyone thinks the same way, but I usually go for the safer options versus the high risk high gain ones.

With the proper supplies though they could hunt and provide their own food if the mission time frame is longer than expected. Also, they could scavenge enemy ammunition and weapons if needed.
