The American Sniper bit is the main part I'm objected to in that statement. That "American Sniper" guy can kill my whole team. And however mil-realistic this might be, this is also supposed to be fun, for all involved. Mr. American Sniper is death, not fun. Death and fun can be mixed, but not here.
EDIT: As far as the last sentence, not here means not with Mr. Sniper. As in i'm not killing off my leader on the whim of Mr. Sniper.

Let's focus on one thing at a time, ja? He and Inquilabstan both worked together on that post, and I authorized it. Like I said at the beginning of the previous DAM, if the kill can feasibly be achieved, you can take it. I talked to him about it. And he wasn't the only one who called out that bullet thing.

Okay, Firstly; Rule 6 is in effect only when all other rules are being followed at the time.

Secondly; Mr. American Sniper Bad Guy (not even pretending he's not at this point lol) targetted you because A: You landed a Helicopter at the discreet insertion point meant to be used by APCs, and B: You're using some pretty heavy and noticeable armor there. He'll target everyone. But he's not invinicble, as you'll learn soon enough.

Thirdly; He would have hit. You can see I didn't write anything along the lines of "and the bullet hit the captain' in my post. I'll never do that to anyone in Atlas. And I did say that if I ever did write something happening that would hurt/kill someone (if I'm OP of said Operation), the only way they could get out of it was damn good writing. Simply armor locking and that is not very clever and can easily be said by anyone. It could be okay in another PW Op not run by me, but DAMs are meant to be highly realistic. If you get shot at by a sniper of that caliber, pun intended, you're going to get hurt. URA even said it himself; if something happens, you should be able to write out the consequences. Also, i'd never kill off each of your soldiers one after the other unless you did something purposely like drop them all into a punji field -- you wouldn't do that, so you needn't worry about it, da?

Fourthly; If you make a mistake in a DAM, your team will pay for it. That's not me trying to be a dick, that's just how they go to encourage careful reading of previous posts. I don't say " I don't like that guy, I want to kill his team." It's also to discourage heavy ass suits like Power Armor - which isn't even allowed in PW in the first place.

Fifthly; Death and Fun do Mix in Project Warfighter. The suspense comes from careful thinking and quick realistic reaction to threats. If a teammate dies or gets injured, its not the end. Take em behind cover, patch them up or take their tags, and wait for Medevac to come take them. Notice how I'm not afraid to use my own forces to prove a point? (AKA Talos Discrepancy) PW is not your standard Special Forces Save the Day RP and it never will be. Our teams will gain experience as it goes on, and we all may lose a few people during it. But that's okay. There are always elite forces ready to be deployed, and Atlas will always need them in its Counter-Terror mission.

Sixhly and most importantly; I'm not doing any of this out of dickishness or "I hate that team" I love Project Warfighter alot and each member is very special. It just has to be known that we're not like other groups. Tis nothing to argue over.

Now lets hug and make up before URA uses a power armored boot to break our spines and hang us over Fort Bragg as examples. Take the loss, and have your team deal with it as they see fit. Patch him up and get him prepped for evac, and help the Cubonian Sniper spot the enemy sniper. Or the Inquilabstani. The sniper will fire again in the next post, use it to find him.

Points taken. But to be honest, I'll be lucky to have time to edit/make a new post at this point. I can't post images, but I'm working on a quadcopter for someone in the background as we speak. And I'm on a time frame. So I don't know what time I'll have today.

If I may add my two cents regarding Cubonia's post, and it's realism or lack thereof, this movement are in regard to several coordinated actions over several posts. That "one guy killed a household" wouldn't be an accurate description. Keep in mind that there are a total of 32 fighters across all of the 7 buildings in the ruins prior to any fire from Atlas forces. Furthermore, SE Asian insurgents, or most for that matter, do not utilize internal cover and concealment. Given that they've been under suppressive fire and had their heavy weapons eliminated, their capabilities are reduced. In addition to this, the Cubonian assault team utilized cover and concealed its movement. This is particularly clear in the case of the western side of the map. If he had moved in without Ace's covering fire, I have no doubt that they would be cut down in-spite of a Talib's inability to hit a barn at 50m. A full size infantry rocket detonating within a building, particularly like those in Aghanistan, upon which Takistan is based, is going to thoroughly disorient any surviving defenders, Throw in a flash after that, and it would take a near-superhuman strength to even return fire. Another critique I have noticed is regarding time. To clarify, neither Cubonia or I are implying that these are lightning quick movements. these are intended to be extended actions. The point being, I feel as though the reason that Cub and I are yet to suffer significant casualties (which could easily change if Ace is about to do what I think he is) is the coordination of our movements and a specific manner of engaging the enemy.
