I made it pretty compelling, which is partially the only reason he believed me. Had Admirals crying before stepping off their ships. And then each of the crew was replaced by Slaves and Death Guard. When what was left of his fleet was crippled in the middle of the Ocean, I had my slaver ships "rescue" who they could.
