After Danka, the Oman army really began to lose hope. moral was crippled, as their strong point was overwhelmed, and their navy sunken. around 100,000 ONA troops, and a total of 80,000 ORA troops occupied the Hajmah line. along with them were about 100 maxims and 90 light howitzers. Compared to the Moorwhyneic army, numbering over 1,000,000 strong, they where hopelessly out matched, out gunned and out numbered. But nonetheless they held on, hoping for reinforcements that never came. Their eastern flank was being bombarded from the sea, and with no way to return fire they were dying by the hundreds. The eastern front almost entirely gone the MAB sprinted forward with incredible speed. The few maxims left on the eastern flank couldn't get a bead on the MAB assault grenadiers, then all at once something mysterious happened. The MAB soldiers all dropped at once, straight on to they ground. "Maybe they had a mass heart attack?" One soldier proposed jokingly. The joke was significantly less funny when the small round grenades began to hit people in the head. And with one magnificent string of explosions, the whole eastern front was nothing but a smoldering grave. The western and center front went less well for Moorwhyne, however they still ended up overcoming the defenders with terrifying speed.

The town of Hajmah was all but abandoned to the crows. The few Oman that remained were put to the sword, and the town was ransacked.

As revenge, Portuguese amphibious assault troops will assailed to north while Spanish Atlantic Armada from Canary Islands will defeat the Azores navy.

Rumours of an impending invasion by the Glory and Steel pact has surfaced between the bordering towns and eventually spread to the capital, where the Imperial Ministry of Foreign Affairs was particularly concerned. A decision was made to draft 2/3 of the fittest boys reaching the military age into the military. Children as young as 16 who past a test made by the Government about military theory or have an IQ of above 120 are being recruited into Military academies, some to the most prestigious.

The military budget has been increased by 2% and taxes by 1%. The Department of Technology, Engineering and Sciences of the Imperial Ministry of Internal Affairs, also received increased funding to create better weapons and equipment and so far, several new rifles and artillery pieces are now being field tested, and have shown promising results. The Imperial Ministry of Propaganda is also pumping out more and more propaganda, urging the youth to enter the military.

Private companies have also taken part in this, being paid by the government to develop weapons, equipment and provide security.

Ah I see. So it counts as conquest if you fight me for it, then make it a part of the treaty. Makes sense.

There was nothing left.

If the Moorwhyneians had expected any resistance, they where sorely disappointed by what they found. Since midnight the Moorwhyneic 75 mm's have been pounding away at the enemy positions. There was little left of the trench line surrounding the Oman capital. Those who clung to life were put out of their misery by passing moorwhyneic soldiers, this time not out of spite but rather guilt. By the time they had reached the first town(which was no more then rubble the first 250 feet in) there was little to tell there had been a town, other then the occasional floating family picture, or severed limb. After clearing the first towns, the Moorwhyneic soldier made their way to Muscat. Much to their surprise the town was still standing, although this was likely due to the fortified stone buildings that towered over street level homes. Now on full alert expecting resistance the Marines marched systematically dragging all who remained onto main street, then sorting them. There were little left then younger women a few men, and children. They were divided up based on who was deemed fit to work(most everybody), and who was not. Those deemed not fit for work(the children under 10, wounded people and the elderly) where further divided up. the majority of the children under 10 where spared, except for a few rebellious ones who decided to try and fight. The elderly where spared out of respect, and the wounded population(40,000 women Age 17-30; 60,000 men age 19-46; 7,000 children age 9-14) where brought through the un-demarcated border with Saudi Arabia and dumped in the desert to die. The Moorwhyneic general was a cold efficient man, who had no emotion, and only cared about statistics. he knew he didn't have the time, manpower or recourses to nurse those people back to health. And besides what happens when they get better hmm? Do they come back and rebel? general Istakil explained away his genocide with "lack of recourses", and "treasonous actions by the Oman". The population deemed fit to work (400,000 men, women and children age 12-45) where exported to places that needed rebuilding.

Land here is extremely cheap and Moorwhyneians are buying it up like crazy, and moving out here.

Along with this the military finished it's upgrade and have activated the draft from all 18-30 year old boys. Spanish and Portuguese armies were mobilized already since the Iberian Wars. Spanish and Portuguese laborers were send to France to build series of trenches near Paris, Italy and Pyrennes mountains.

To prevent facing two fronts, Farshonia will send many support as we can to France while defending our motherland in south!
