I hope, really, that you don't impede to my expansion, so it's recommended to place yourself in a northern coastline, and don't neighbor my colony. It's gonna grow big and hard (tho not yet at this moment as I'm waiting the right momentum). Srsly.

Yeah I know I haven't posted anything in the IC yet but that's because I was busy with adding in new stuff for my factbooks and was in other RPs. I'll try to post something but don't be surprise if I don't. Though my current location is rather poor when it comes to resources. Oh well, I'll just have to find more near by.

Haha. Of all colonies, yours has the best potential to expand, and it's inevitable. Sooner or later ICly, your colonists will never be settled and move to places with resources. And yes, you need to write about them and their growing discontent (my POV tho)

Use civil and economic discontent in your favor to expand to resource-filled areas, but when you reach a key area, it is much likely that your people will be contented and issuing another expansion may see your government negatively. But meh, your dice, your roll. All yours pal.

Well do have this one idea that involves the people in my colony being citizens and military personals that were ordered to leave their homeland when two foreign nation's militaries decided to make their homeland a battlefield(that happened in another RP that I made) so in desperation they found this island and now have to make things from scratch and of course the place they found lacked any real resource for them to use so they will have to expand to survive. The real question is how long will it take for them to realize that the war from back home is now over.

@Cheffins, et al: Being the other player most directly threatened, potentially, by whatever numbers Cheffins wants to have I do appreciate the debate going on, and agree that there should be a reasonable upper limit imposed informally by community standards of realism, but I am always willing to work with whatever another player feels is appropriate for them. We're playing a game with no rules baby, I'll roll with the punches.

I'm not looking for a major war or anything, but as we are both northern, oil-seeking, expanding territories (albeit on different continents) it might be fun to have an incident or get into a little scrap or something. My expansion plans are simply, well, at least for me. Just conquer all of the penisula, and the island below me. Thats it.

Well that's a lot of land. When I expand nations, I usually give them a piece of land about the size as the piece of land they started with.
I'll add a good amount of land in all directions you have marked, but not the whole piece, is that okay?
