forgot to mention in my most recent IC post, this is what I was talking about when I was talking about expanding along the northern coast. If it's too much we can prune it back, but you get the idea.

Along with this we want about 10000 trawlers fishing in the south and 15000 in the war north. We want to keep around 1000 ships 7000 aircraft and 30000 troops here in various bases. Finally we want to set up smaller colonies near the gold and cobalt heavy regions around here and would love for you to join us in this venture. Your thoughts?"

I don't know much about all of this, but if I am correct, 5000 (or 1500 not clear on that one) rigs are waaaaaaaaayyyy to many. 10,000 trawlers is also an huge amount. And 1000 ships+7000 aircraft?
You are using numbers WAAAAAAYYYY to large to be even close to realistic. If you, or any other nation has anything else to add to clarify this, please do so, otherwise these numbers will be considered to much and can't be used.

The US navy (which is the current largest navy if I am correct, I could be wrong however) has a total of 289 ships. And now you tell me your nation is able to deploy more than 3 times that number just in 6 months?
You also state that you have 5000 rigs in that sea alone. In the gulf of Mexico, which is one of the larger oil deposits on earth, there are only a mere 51 oil rigs.
And just having 25,000 fishing boats. I mean do you even have any idea how many that are?
Now going to the aircraft. This is coming close to a 'realistic' number if you compare it with the US airforce (Which is also the largest if I recall correctly) that deploys 5,638 aircraft. So having 7000 just in a colony is also a big exaggeration.
In my opinion the only number that is somewhat realistic is the number of troops, 30,000.
If you want to prove to me these numbers are realistic one, please go ahead, but if you can't, please change them.

Haha. Of all colonies, yours has the best potential to expand, and it's inevitable. Sooner or later ICly, your colonists will never be settled and move to places with resources. And yes, you need to write about them and their growing discontent (my POV tho)
