Cuscatlani Patriotic March
Cuscatlanis knew the invasion would come. They were being prepared for it since they day they were born. Junta Militar de Salvación Nacional knew also, that Globalist powers sooner or later will come to destroy what Martinez has built. They attempted during Cuscatlani civil war, when El Libertador - General Carlos Silva - rescued it. Economy boomed soon after. Cuscatlan was restored to old glory, with it's army being most powerful in whole South America. Ejercito Cuscatlano was equipped through selling oil to European counties like France and UK, as well as through domestic production. Current El Caudillo, Alvaro Ferreira de Cruz, made series of neoliberal reforms which made Cuscatlani economy explode, standard of living improve and combining it with semi "father rule", general lack of Pesecution and populist - nationalist slogans made him extremely popular. He was not as popular as Martinez was in his days - but he was Martinez' s successor, so people were generally following him. 69% of society would have voted on him in case of elections, if there were any. His popularity however, increased after war with IFC - something that Cuscatlanis seen as war against Imperialism which was enslaving South America for long time and war against their major enemies - Democracy and Globalism. Western Democracy was being shown in Cuscatlani TV as "Scam" and "possibility to choose which part of elite you want in power". Cuscatlanis hated what they called "LIEberalism" which in their opinion was opposed to patriotism and wanted to ruin society. Junta was also spreading message about communist conspiracy that was coming to Cucatlan, with communists hiding under more "politically correct' names to confuse public about their agenda. And so it happened now also.
Alvaro Ferreira D`Cruze, first Civilian Caudillo of Gran Cuscatlan was standing in Palacio de Libertad' balcony, waving his hands to millions of enthusiastic people below. The people were rising slogans and chants, many were holding rifles, which were legal in Cuscatlan - as there was almost no gun control here. Junta clearly stated that they will not go against the people, and All great Caudillos like Silva, Martinez or Franco ruled via fatherly rule rather than fear. Over 2 million people came to his speech. Everybody was willing to fight for La America Libre and grind the LIEberals to the ground. Cuscatlan will repel invasion and arise again. Ferreira knew it when he shouted:
"They are behind it!" his voice carried enormous fury of Cuscatlani nation "Communists, LIEberals, Progressives, Socialists, Hippies and rest of this KGB - controlled plague! Some of them are anti-communists, but they are anti communists by the name only. In reality they were created by commies and are pushing the same agenda! In the modern world you do not have to call yourself a commie to be one! Remember people that lies are their biggest weapon. They have tanks. They have missiles. On our side is only truth!"
Crowds went mad, shouting pro-Ferreria slogans, but he silenced them by gesture of hand.
"During our whole history they attempted to colonize us and yet we arose! These vultures are coming for your money, they are coming for your oil, they are coming for your gold and everything we have built. These vampires want to suck the blood of Cuscatlan, blood which gave us life - and you are this blood! Their goal is to ruin us, steal our resources, colonize us again like Spain and US once did! SHALL WE AGREE TO IT!"
"NO!" came enormous cry from the crowds. Masked paramilitary members who until now were used to fight drug gangs begun firing their guns into air.
"They forgotten that we have gun in every home!" shouted Ferreira, rising his hands into air "And when they come here, there will be gun behind every corner, behind every tree and blade of grass! Soon they will not even know from where the fire is coming!"
Crowds again begun to cheet.
"LIBERTAD O MUERTE, POR LA PATRIA Y DIOS, MI PUEBLO!" shouted Ferreira, pointing at the people "We are going to blast them to hell once for all! DEATH TO COMMUNISM IN ALL FORMS! VIVA LA PATRIA!" he shouted rising a fist into air.
"Viva La Patria! Viva la contre-revolución! Muerte al enemigos de la Patria!" crowds begun to shout, as his personal security detail escorted El Caudillo back to the palace. War will soon begun.
Cuscatlani army was mobilizing. By Caudillo Ferreira's orders border with Novo Wagondia had to be reinforced. At night the great march begun. Thousands of Cuscatlani soldiers were coming through the jungle in small groups, reassembling in their specific AOs. Vechicles were coming through the roads with their lights off, to prevent being seen. Soldiers, once they re-assembled disappeared into the network of tunnels and underground strongholds. To confuse the satellites and other reconnaissance means fake fortifications guarded by dummies and some real soldiers were built. These fakes were almost impossible to be distinguished from real ones. Most of Cuscatlani fortifications however, was not even visible by naked eye; they were blending with terrain, being mostly under the ground. Cuscatlani doctrine stated that network of underground strongholds was to be kept, so they can preserve most of forces during initial bombardment and then counter-attack. Across all the country fake bases were being created, manned by few soldiers so enemy will not be able to distinguish which bases are fake and which ones are real. Meanwhile, besides the army, population was also mobilizing. Militias and resistance cells were being trained and organized.
Cuscatlani population, which did not wanted foreign intrusion, was more than prepared. Cuscatlan was preparing itself to fight for moths, maybe for years - it was ready for it. National War doctrine stated that it has not to be only army - it has to be whole society - which will resist the enemy. And society was well armed and prepared. Fighting against Narcoinsurgency prepared Cuscatlani vigilante militias, which agreed to join the forces with their former enemies - drug dealers - to fight the invasion together. Cartel gunmen were now helping patrol the streets. Each Cuscatlani HQ was 3 in 1: Conventional, Strategic and Militia forces operating jointly.
Soon the defence of Cuscatlan was about to begin.....
