War on Cedoria and Syike {IC}

The cargo of munitions is still under way. Meanwhile Arab troops staying in Cedoria were attacked by the gas, but luckily they just had time to put on the gas masks and retreat to safety.
The government of the USSAJ denounces any attempt to use WMDs and urge all sides not to do so.

Because they're extremely outnumbered and strategically outmatched, the Maitean government is secretly considering negotiations of surrender.
However, before they reveal any of this to the public, they're sending literally everything they have to the northern and southern borders in a final last resort. If the push sees failure, the Maitean government will surrender to the Cedorians.

Aware of the situation a whole Apocalypse Division armed with elite shocktroopers and apocalypse tanks will be sent to Cedoria as Maitean telecom has been decrypted by experts. It is hoped that the division may arrive in time and stop the offensive. The cargo has been unloaded at a *anonymous port in Cedoria* and the supplies will be distributed very soon. We predict at least 1 million Maiteans may be participating the offensive.

Cedorian-Maitean Border

Another major ground attack by the Maiteans is underway, the PRA troops man their entrenched positions, firing en masse into the onrushing human wave attack. Many thousands of Maitean soldiers are killed or wounded in the attack, and it seemingly is on the brink of failure. Now primarily comprised of infantry, since the tanks were mostly knocked out by artillery strikes from the PRA, the Maitean army throws themselves into the attack with renewed desperation. Just as it seems they might be making headway however, the PRA Commanders order their mobile armoured reserve tank divisions to the front lines. The tank forces smash the onrushing Maitean infantry, sending them reeling back in panic and confusion, inflicting mass casualties, even as the infantry continue firing at them from their entrenched positions. Now that the Maitean attack appears to be faltering, the PRA Commanders again pull their tanks back behind the defensive infantry lines, awaiting either another attack, or an attempt at surrender.

Planes containing mustard gas, which can penetrate many gas masks and most clothing, spray over defensive positions.
Heavily armed and protected bombers then preform raids on these positions to cause more casulties. Once they're focused on taking care of this, paratroopers are sent behind enemy lines to kill them during their potential retreating, then allowing a large scale push to occur. If this strategy fails to prove successful, the war may be lost for good.

OOC: Ok hang on, we've established that mustard gas CANNOT get through gas masks, also, our fighter squadrons are running constant patrols, your paratroopers would not get beyond the border. Also, my bombers devastated your airfields during the attack on your cities, so the number of your planes is going to be much less than normal. Just letting you know of this stuff. I'll RP this part, bar the mustard gas.

PAFC fighter patrols see the enemy planes once again emerging over the border on their scanners. Vectoring to intercept the enemy bomber squadrons, the PAFC J-19 strike fighters inflict heavy casualties on the enemy bombers and their fighter escorts, several transport planes are also destroyed in the engagement, eliminating the threat of potential enemy paratroopers being dropped over Cedorian lines. Whilst some bombers do manage to drop their payloads over the PRA lines, the entrenchment again means that casualties are reasonable, the enemy's defeat now appears to be almost certain. With the armoured reserve now ready to make another attack on the advancing Maitean forces if necessary, and the PAFC bomber squadrons prepping to make another strike, the enemy will have no choice but to surrender soon.

Here at Bosakia, we pity you but, we'll send the finest teams of engineers Bosakia has to offer. These engineers will go and fix up any military equipment and infrastructure. 800 Bosakian Made Tanks will arrive at your nation for you nation's use. We will also send transport planes full of supplies, ammo, and guns. Any act of aggression towards us will be treated like an unprovoked attack on Bosakia.

Although Maitean generals strongly suggest terms of surrender, President Westerberg refuses to surrender as he "Would never in his right mind make peace with the fucking commies". He has directly ordered fast military planning and multiple invasions until they crack inside and win the war. He's so desperate for victory that he's setting the minimum age elegible for draft to 14, and in some cases even children. He's also drafting people with jobs as well. As corrupt as this may sound, Westerberg is a heavy nationalist and will do anything to win against ideals he hates.

Following this, he proceeds to order an eastern and western invasion once more, this time with extra air strength and less infantry. He's also ordered nuclear experiments on creating a nuclear bomb, although this information has been highly classified and only around 3 people in the world are aware of it.

USSAJ has decided that the 5th Division shall be transferred to Cedoria, along with the 9th Mechanized Division to retaliate Cedorian troops as the Maitean offensive get stronger.
====At the frontline====
The Arab troops had their own trenches, the ground 800 metres from Cedorian grounds but had similar conditions. The Maitean troops also held heavy pressure on them, though never with tanks, and there were often incidents where Maitean tanks were destroyed by Arab troops watching more than 800m away with a Pashtun missile launcher. This day Maiteans launched another attack larger than expected——in the first round a thousand were poured in, trying to charge up. The Arabs destroyed the first wave with Falconer infantry who threw drone air-strike target devices at the enemy's river of steel, who met destruction right after the drones detected the little devices and blasted what was near of it. The Arab troops stayed calm and repelled one and another Maitean attack, regardless of the presence of gas. They were equipped with masks, though. They held on for another few hours until the Apocalypses assembled right after they were unloaded at the port suddenly appeared, opened fire on the Maiteans and vroomed forward with great velocity. The troops themselves, excited enough, joined in the tanks, and harvested down Maitean troops still charging and knowing nothing about the apocalypse for them that was to come. The troops charged forward six hundred metres, and retreated back to garrison the front after that. The apocalypses after the offensive began sheltering themselves in the confinements, ready to provide heavy fire support if another attack was to come.

In response to the monstrous action of the Maitean President, drafting children into military service, the People's Republic of Cedoria decides to adjust it's strategy, as it is clear that the current administration will never accept peace. The Chairman instructs the People's Intelligence Agency to discreetly get into contact with leading Maitean generals and officers. Many of them are not like their mad President, they understand that the war must end if Maitea is too survive. The PIA agents have been instructed to sound out the Maitean Generals on their willingness to conduct a coup'd'etat against the President, to establish a new government with saner leaders and immediately sign the Cedorian peace treaty. The Chairman also orders his bombers too lift off the ground at the airfields, ready for another bombing run. In addition to regular bombs, they also carry another, 'special' kind of cargo.

Skies over Maitea

The bombs fell once again, brilliant flashes of light bursting over the towns and cities. Military bases and key communication centres are especially targeted, in addition to the Presidential Palace, which suffers heavily from the attacks. However, this attack is less severe than the bombings of the previous night, this is because many PAFC planes don't carry bombs, but propaganda. They drop leaflets and booklets over the cities, eventually littering the streets and suburbs below. In these propaganda leaflets, the People's Republic of Cedoria explains it's willingness to make peace with Maitea, but also elaborates that the current President has been unwilling to make peace and end the suffering of his people. The leaflet concludes by urging the proletariat of Maitea to rise up in Revolution against their corrupt and mad President, who would force their children to die, and overthrow him to create a new government which will bring peace between our two peoples.

Cedorian-Maitean Border

With the assistance of their Arab comrades, the PRA again beats back the Maitean assault, inflicting more heavy casualties against their troops, overhead, fighter planes from their PAFC comrades gun down the Maitean bombers, lessening their effectiveness against the PRA, with enemy losses mounting and their attack again floundering, the PRA Commanders order several thousand extra reinforcements to the frontline, to fill any gaps in the defences, and continually fortify the border. The artillery batteries are then resupplied, and resume their relentless pounding of the Maitean lines as they retreat back once again. With the enemy's morale now very low, PRA snipers shoot propaganda leaflets over into the Maitean army lines, the leaflets urge the soldiers to desist in their fruitless assault on the PRA positions, and instructs them to end their own suffering by revolting against their officers who are ordering them to die in a pointless struggle. Next time they attack, the PRA hopes that the Maitean soldiers will shoot their officers, and engage in a general military revolt.

The propaganda offensive is now taking place on multiple fronts in addition to the military war. The Maiteans will soon be forced to surrender, or they will have a revolt amongst their generals, their people, or their army at the front.

Santiagan troops, amassed at the capital of Maitea, had enough. This president was insane. 15,000 soldiers of the Santiagan Army (originally 20,000, but because of bombing runs...) decided to depose him.

The troops attacked the government building after the Cedorian bombing run. The soldiers far outnumber the guards in the building. Rushing into the presidential room, 300 soldiers find that he's...

I'm currently fighting a pretty drawn out war in my region, so if someone actually has interests in making war with me they will have to wait.

The Santiagan troops don't find him in the building. They search for any sign of where he could be, but don't find anything. The Santiagan troops, angry, scared, and acting out of grief, lace the building with explosives and destroy it.

Troops of Santiago II are prepared to evacuated from the country in the next few days, cutting off support to Maitea.

Once they have taken control, they can sign the Cedorian Peace treaty, and PRA forces will gladly assist them in their hunt for the mad president.

As the all too familiar bursts of light erupt over Maitea's already devastated towns and cities, the People's Republic of Cedoria hopes that they have the courage to revolt against their insane leader, and carve out a Maitea for themselves.
