Chernarus has publicly announced that it will not be assisting financially in the building of the space elevator, regarding it as a waste of resources and simply put, frivolous - however, it will send a small group of advisors, scientists, experts, and engineers to assist in the Project.

It has, but the actual concept of constructing an actual space elevator, and the possibility of that actually happening, is very recent. Again, unless the project begins to show significant progress or success, Chernarus will not be investing huge amounts of resources in a project they have no idea it will work out or not.

Techis will assist with both projects. We just got Netflix or something so we're experiencing all that science fiction hype at once

Techis prepares its first long range probe for launch. The Techis Space Agency (TSA) hopes that the probe will be able to pass the closest planet (not sure of this is Earth or not), a task that most believe will be accomplished. This is estimated to be the first step in the growing space program, which is hoping to catch up with it's sibling organisation working with other countries in the more advanced projects

OOC: just saying this, but remember it takes time to build probes, space shuttles, spacecraft, etc. and you can't instantly build one with the snap of your hand. There's probably going to be relatively high failure rate, and it will take some time to build a space elevator

OOC:I try to stick to that. First probe just barely succeeded and waiting a few days before a second is ready. Usually start the building of something in the earlier part of the day and have it completed at the end, though time might increase if the project is really big

[Ukranas]

The Ukranasian government expresses its support for this agenda and has considerably ramped up funding. In a speech broadcast across the nation, the General promises to act soon. Ukranas has already dispatched 20 of its leading Astronautical scientists to Petrokovia, aiming to improve diplomatic relations as well as staying acceptably high on the technological ladder.

Techis finishes construction of out shell of their space telescope, though internal components and method of transportation are still to be developed, a side project

The space program greets Exaequatio support with great joy as public data, information from first try, and tips from assisting scientists as used to design a better model that will hopefully see more success. Time will be taken to develope the plans and relate a successful model though excitement is not dampened with the far greater range this one promises

Equally as big is the project to develope an excavation vehicle for the international program. Conditions are to be examined first to create a good idea of requirements model will be required to meet. Different teams will then build their own models, which will be tested to see which can meet all requirements.

Some citizens have protested the amount of money put into the program, but as it ties in directly to international diplomacy and advancement in technology it will continue.
