IGDA soldiers tracked and shot down the missiles. Treating this as an act of war, the IGDA soldiers with Acharian soldiers began an invasion. With DS, the great cut would begin. 15 Tanks and 1,500 soldiers were sent to cut Gilneas in half.

Iravian bombing of the capital started.
From the 2 aircraft carriers close to the capital. However they were not allowed to use their nuclear bombs.
Atleast not yet.

120 Iravian B-22 bombers took off from both the aircraft carriers and airports in Lithuania-Latvia bombing strategic points in Gilneas.

In the mean time the smaller groups came under fire from Bosakian planes some of which were shot down by Iravian AA-Guns.

As the GS Elite entered the narrow strip of land, IGDA "Wallmen" began a defense with stationary guns and grenade launchers mounted on the wall. Around 1,750 more troops were sent and 5 more tanks. Meanwhile, inside the more peaceful sections of the gigantic base, Pink Floyd's "The Wall" is played through the speakers.
