IC: Deku 4999 (Iwaku/invite in OOC)

[Gakusen City]

Kat disconnects the cable from the back of her neck, feeling the same slight neuorlogic shock which occurs each time she does. As she has done every time she's linked with NAO, she wipes away the small trickle of blood leaking from around the plug site.
Tch... NAO and I may be one and the same, but I'm still just weak flesh and blood...
Kat sighs.
Might as well check out the bulkhead between that ventelation sub-unit and the drive system chemical tank...
She scribbles down a quick list of items.
"NAO, grab me these materials from the engineering space, I'll need them for my work."
NAO beeps in confirmation and proceeds to float off toward its destination.
Kat makes her way toward the area she is going to work on, checking the tools at her belt, making sure she has everything she needs, rubbing the sore spot on her neck as she does.

"Have you been bleeding? There is blood that is either your's, vladimir, or mika's"

"And jonathan, please move to room 58. Report anything suspicious to the captain or me." He says.
"And if you find more blood make sure to tell Al."

"I'll head there now, then."

Stretching, Jonathan got up and moved toward the room indicated by Deku.

He was unsure exactly why he was needed in that room, but it was of no consequence. He had noticed that Deku mentioned that some interesting information was housed there - perhaps some of it would prove useful.

"Hah! This could be fun!" Jonathan says aloud to himself.

He wondered why this ship apparently lacked a dedicated security officer, but perhaps it was for the best. Now he could keep an eye on things from here. While his OIP could access comms logs anywhere, he lacked a visual feed of any sort.

He proceeded to scan the screens for any suspicious activity or any clear sign of the source of the blood. He had his suspicions already, and was wondering how true they may or may not be.

He then patted the holstered weapon on his hip.

"Plus, if I had attacked anyone, you surely would have heard it."

"If you spot anything suspicious tell the captain or me."

"Yeah, I have," Kat says as she continues down the hall, "it's a side effect from networking with NAO. Though I always clean up after myself. I haven't seen Vladimir since I boarded the ship, and Mika didn't look like she had any leaks."
She pauses.
"Say, Deku, what do you think of humanity? What do you think of them everytime you hear about another war or another atrocity? Do you ever think the universe would he better off without beings like them?"

Not having seen or heard anything from him in a while, Jonathan attempts to locate Vladimir on the security system.

In the mean time he locks the door to the security room and begins to write a message to his sister.

I think the universe would be worse without them, as we would not be here to explore the depths of it." Deku says in his usual voice.
"And thank you for telling me about the bleeding."

To herself, Siræl thought, 'Yet another thing to do before studying the blueprint.'

After wandering the ship for a while, Siræl ended up in her room. Taking her Posan-88 Blaster Carbine, she paused for a bit to study the weapon: a simple yet effective, highly modifiable, and reliable. She had become quite fond of the weapon during her military career, and it saw her through a many a ship security breach, including an attempted boarding.

Weapon in hand, she continued on her tour, now reliving the horrors of the War once again. 'I- I had to kill those men. They killed so many innocents...'

Still locked in the security room, Jonathan draws his KI-11 and places it on the desk next to him. He proceeds to stare at it wondering what he should do.

"Ok..." Al says not entirely convinced "did she have a bloody nose or something?". Al then decided to meet other people on the ship starting by walking down the hallways.

"Hello! I don't think I've met you yet. Don't mind the carbine. I'm Captain Siræl Lehæse, though you can just call me Siræl."

She holds out her hand.

"Come to room 30, where we will discuss what will happen once we ACTUALLY LAUNCH"
He waits for them using a camera.

Exhaling deeply, Jonathan reholsters his weapon and sets out for room 30 at the behest of Deku.

We haven't launched yet? What kind of terrible schedule are we on? he wonders to himself.

"Gotcha" Al replied as he walked down to room thirty. He then looked at the Carbine which almost seemed Zhou clan design. He brushed that thought off and continued to walk down to room 30.

"This space program, named Ozoi was created to explore the universe... But if we do not launch in the next 4 hours we cannot.
We must hurry and get prepared for the launch now, go into your bedrooms and grab your uniforms now." Deku says, worried that he might be shut down for not doing his job, which is to co-pilot and guide the Iwakian explorer 1. "Captain, prepare for launch, i will be checking the cameras now."

With that, Siræl left the room to go prepare herself. As she was already in uniform, she instead went back to the bridge and checked the various status lights.

"All green from what I can see, Deku. You may want to check with engineering, as well. They'll have a more thorough analysis."

Kat and mika, being asleep cannot be bothered at the moment.
Deku checks them him self and finds nothing wrong.
"It is suitable for launch." Deku says in a more excited voice.
"Prepare for launch." Deku says while checking in with everybody.
